| 1 | A Review on Graphene-Based Gas/Vapor Sensors with Unique Properties and Potential Applications显示文摘Graphene-based gas/vapor sensors have attracted much attention in recent years due to their variety of structures, unique sensing performances, room-temperature working conditions, and tremendous application prospects, etc.Herein, we summarize recent advantages in graphene preparation, sensor construction, and sensing properties of various graphene-based gas/vapor sensors, such as NH_3, NO_2, H_2, CO, SO_2, H_2S, as well as vapor of volatile organic compounds.The detection mechanisms pertaining to various gases are also discussed. In conclusion part, some existing problems which may hinder the sensor applications are presented. | 2 | Magnolol additive as a replacer of antibiotic enhances the growth performance of Linwu ducks显示文摘Magnolol rich in Magnolia officinalis is a bioactive polyphenolic compound. The aim of this study was to examine the effects of magnolol additive(MA) on growth performance, expression levels of antioxidantrelated genes, and intestinal mucosal morphology of Linwu ducks aged from 49 to 70 days, comparing with that of an antibiotic additive(colistin sulfate [CS]). A total of 275,49-day-old ducks were assigned to5 groups with 5 cages of 11 ducks each and fed diets supplemented with 0,100, 200 and 300 mg of MA/kg and 300 mg of CS/kg for 3 weeks, respectively. The results showed that the average daily body weight gain(ADG) was increased significantly in MA-fed groups(200 and 300 mg/kg), compared with the basal diet(BD) group(P < 0.05). The mRNA levels of superoxide dismutase-1(SOD1), manganese superoxide dismutase-2(MnSOD2) and catalase(CAT) were also increased significantly in MA groups(P < 0.05). In addition, hematoxylin and eosin staining revealed that Linwu ducks fed the diets with MA had more intact intestinal mucosa than those fed the BD and CS diets. In addition, ileal villus height, ileal villus height/crypt depth ratio(V/C) and duodenal V/C were also improved significantly(P < 0.05). | 6 | Scutellarin prevents acute alcohol-induced liver injury via inhibiting oxidative stress by regulating the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway and inhibiting inflammation by regulating the AKT,p38 MAPK/NF-κB pathways显示文摘Alcoholic liver disease(ALD)is the most frequent liver disease worldwide,resulting in severe harm to personal health and posing a serious burden to public health.Based on the reported antioxidant and anti-inflammatory capacities of scutellarin(SCU),this study investigated its protective role in male BALB/c mice with acute alcoholic liver injury after oral administration(10,25,and 50 mg/kg).The results indicated that SCU could lessen serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)levels and improve the histopathological changes in acute alcoholic liver;it reduced alcohol-induced malondialdehyde(MDA)content and increased glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),catalase(CAT),and superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity.Furthermore,SCU decreased tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),and IL-1βmessenger RNA(mRNA)expression levels,weakened inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)activity,and inhibited nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain(NOD)-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3)inflammasome activation.Mechanistically,SCU suppressed cytochrome P450 family 2 subfamily E member 1(CYP2E1)upregulation triggered by alcohol,increased the expression of oxidative stress-related nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2)and heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)pathways,and suppressed the inflammation-related degradation of inhibitor of nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB)-α(IκBα)as well as activation of NF-κB by mediating the protein kinase B(AKT)and p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)pathways.These findings demonstrate that SCU protects against acute alcoholic liver injury via inhibiting oxidative stress by regulating the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway and suppressing inflammation by regulating the AKT,p38 MAPK/NF-κB pathways. | Xiao ZHANG Zhicheng DONG Hui FAN Qiankun YANG Guili YU Enzhuang PAN Nana HE Xueqing LI Panpan ZHAO Mian FU Jingquan DONG | 2023 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2023,24,7: | 0 |
| 7 | Enhanced carrier mobility in MoSe_(2) by pressure modulation显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)materials hold great potential for the development of next-generation integrated circuits(ICs)at the atomic limit.However,it is still very challenging to build high performance devices.One of the main factors that limit the incorporation of 2D materials into IC technology is their relatively low carrier mobility.Thus,the engineering strategies that focus on optimizing performance continue to emerge.Herein,using a spatiotemporal resolved pump-probe setup,the carrier transport performance and relaxation process of few-layer and bulk MoSe_(2) under pressure were investigated nondestructively and simultaneously.Our results show that pressure can tune the transport performance effectively.In particular,under pressure regulation,the carrier mobility of the bulk MoSe_(2) increases by~4 times;meanwhile,the carrier lifetimes of the samples become shorter.Although the processes almost return to their initial state after the pressure release,it is still surprising to see that the carrier mobilities of fewlayer and bulk MoSe2 are still~1.5 and 2 times enhanced,and carrier lifetimes are still shorter than the initial state.Combined with the Raman spectra under pressure,we consider that it is caused by the enhanced layer coupling and lattice compression.The combination of enhanced mobility and shortened lifetime in MoSe_(2) under pressure holds great potential for optoelectronic applications under the deep ocean and deep earth. | Zhiying Bai He Zhang Jiaqi He Dawei He Jiarong Wang Guili Li Jinxuan Bai Kun Zhao Xiaohui Yu Yongsheng Wang Xiaoxian Zhang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,11: | 0 |
| 8 | Enhanced exciton diffusion from interlayer charge-transfer transitions in PtSe2/MoSe_(2) van der Waals heterojunction显示文摘Artificial van der Waals(vdWs)heterostructures offer unprecedented opportunities to explore and reveal novel synergistic electronic and optical phenomena,which are beneficial for the development of novel optoelectronic devices at atomic limits.However,due to the damage caused by the device fabrication process,their inherent properties such as carrier mobility are obscured,which hinders the improvement of device performance and the incorporation of vdWs materials into next-generation integrated circuits.Herein,combining pump-probe spectroscopic and scanning probe microscopic techniques,the intrinsic optoelectronic properties of PtSe_(2)/MoSe_(2)heterojunction were nondestructively and systematically investigated.The heterojunction exhibits a broad-spectrum optical response and maintains ultrafast carrier dynamics(interfacial charge transfer~0.8 ps and carrier lifetime~38.2 ps)simultaneously.The in-plane exciton diffusion coefficient of the heterojunction was extracted(19.4±7.6 cm^(2)∙s^(−1)),and its exciton mobility as high as 756.8 cm^(2)∙V−1∙s^(−1)was deduced,exceeding the value of its components.This enhancement was attributed to the formation of an n-type Schottky junction between PtSe_(2)and MoSe_(2),and its built-in electric field assisted the ultrafast transfer of photogenerated carriers from MoSe_(2)to PtSe_(2),enhancing the in-plane exciton diffusion of the heterojunction.Our results demonstrate that PtSe_(2)/MoSe_(2)is suitable for the development of broadspectrum and sensitive optoelectronic devices.Meanwhile,the results contribute to a fundamental understanding of the performance of various optoelectronic devices based on such PtSe_(2)two-dimensional(2D)heterostructures. | Jiarong Wang Dawei He Zhiying Bai Guili Li Jinxuan Bai Keqin Liu Fangying Ren Xiaojing Liu Jiaqi He Weiya Zhou Jianlin Sun Yongsheng Wang Xiaoxian Zhang Yuchao Yang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,11: | 0 |
