| 1 | Removal of impurities from scandium chloride solution using 732-type resin显示文摘The deep removal of Al, Fe(Ⅱ/Ⅲ), Ca, Zr, Ti and Si from scandium chloride solution was carried out by using 732-type strong acid cation exchange resin. The effects of pH value, contact time and complexing agents(EDTA) on the purification process are investigated. The results indicate that the 732-type resin have a good scandium selectivity and the adsorption order is Sc > Fe(Ⅲ)>Al > Ca > Zr > Ti > Si in the pH range of 1-3. The separation of Sc and Zr, Si, Ti can be directly carried out because the resin have a good adsorption effect on Sc, AI and Fe(Ⅲ) but poor adsorption effect on Zr, Si and Ti under the condition of pH = 2.5 and contact time 180 min. The Fe(Ⅱ), Ca and Al are selectively adsorbed on the resin by adding reducing agent ascorbic acid and EDTA into the solution for reducing Fe(Ⅲ) to Fe(Ⅱ) and complexing Sc.By using two-step ion exchange adsorption separation method, the removal rates of Fe(Ⅲ), Ti, Al, Ca, Zr and Si are 95.5%,99.8%,100%,98.2%,98.6% and 100%,respectively. | Guotao Zhou Qinggang Li Pan Sun Wenjuan Guan Guiqing Zhang Zuoying Cao Li Zeng | 2018 | Journal of Rare Earths2018,36,3: | 7 |

| 6 | Discussion on Abnormal Corrosion and Material Selection of Hot Iron Ladles with Steel Scrap Addition显示文摘The abnormal corrosion of hot iron ladles was investigated.The performance,the composition and the structure of bricks for hot iron ladles were analyzed.The results show that(1)compared with the alumina-silicon carbide-carbon bricks for the ladle bottom,those for the ladle wall have more pyrophyllite and the Al2O3 content of 36.32 mass%;their bulk density,apparent porosity and cold compressive strength are lower than the requirement of industry standard;they have poor anti-oxidation performance and are oxidized to form a porous layer during service,which loosens the brick lining structure thus leading to fracture,local wear and structural damage of bricks;(2)without preheating,steel scraps are not completely melted,resulting in slag or steel attachment at the mouth or the bottom of ladles thus increasing damage of ladles;(3)and the residual bricks react with the attached slag to form low melting point phases affecting their hot properties.The refractories for the lining of hot iron ladles must be improved in combination with process changes,not entirely by raw materials replacement to reduce costs. | XU Guotao ZHAO Yuan WU Jie ZHANG Honglei LIU Li ZHANG Yanwen ZHOU Wangzhi | 2023 | China's Refractories2023,32,1: | 0 |
| 7 | Photoacoustic and magnetic resonance imaging-based gene and photothermal therapy using mesoporous nanoagents显示文摘The integration of photothermal therapy(PTT)with gene therapy(GT)in a single nanoscale platform demonstrates great potential in cancer therapy.Porous iron oxide nanoagents(PIONs)are widely used as magnetic nanoagents in the drug delivery field and also serve as a photothermal nanoagent for photothermal therapy.However,the therapeutic efficacy of PIONs-mediated GT has not been studied.The long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)CRYBG3(LNC CRYBG3),a lncRNA induced by heavy ion irradiation in lung cancer cells,has been reported to directly bind to globular actin(G-actin)and cause degradation of cytoskeleton and blocking of cytokinesis,thus indicating its potential for use in GT by simulating the effect of heavy ion irradiation and functioning as an antitumor drug.In the present study,we investigated the possibility of combining PIONs-mediated PTT and LNC CRYBG3-mediated GT to destroy non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)cells both in vitro and in vivo.The combination therapy showed a high cancer cell killing efficacy,and the cure rate was better than that achieved using PTT or GT alone.Moreover,as a type of magnetic nanoagent,PIONs can be used for magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and photoacoustic imaging(PAI)both in vitro and in vivo.These findings indicate that the new combination therapy has high potential for cancer treatment. | Hao Huang Guotao Yuan Ying Xu Yuan Gao Qiulian Mao Yin Zhang Lu Bai Weijie Li Anqing Wu Wentao Hu Yue Pan Guangming Zhou | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,3: | 0 |

| 11 | Comparison of the effects of Ti-and Si-containing minerals on goethite transformation in the Bayer digestion of goethitic bauxite显示文摘Goethitic bauxite is a widely used raw material in the alumina industry.It is an essential prerequisite to clarify the effect of Ti-and Si-containing minerals on goethite transformation in the Bayer digestion process,which could efficiently utilize the Fe-and Al-containing minerals present in goethitic bauxite.In this work,the interactions between anatase or kaolinite with goethite during various Bayer digestion processes were investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS),transmission electron microscopy (TEM),and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The results showed that anatase and kaolinite hindered the transformation of goethite.Anatase exerted more significant effects than kaolinite due to the dense sodium titanate layer on the goethite surface after reacting with the sodium aluminate solution.Adding the reductant hydrazine hydrate could eliminate the retarding effect by inducing the transformation of goethite into magnetite.In this process,titanium was embedded into the magnetite lattice to form Ti-containing magnetite.Furthermore,the weakening of the interaction between magnetite and sodium aluminosilicate hydrate reduced the influence of kaolinite.As a validation of the above results,the reductive Bayer method resulted in the transformation of goethite into goethitic bauxite with 98.87% relative alumina digestion rate.The obtained red mud with 72.99wt% Fe2O3could be further utilized in the steel industry.This work provides a clear understanding of the transformative effects of Ti-and Si-containing minerals on iron mineral transformation and aids the comprehensive use of iron and aluminum in goethitic bauxite subjected to the reductive Bayer method. | Guotao Zhou Yilin Wang Tiangui Qi Qiusheng Zhou Guihua Liu Zhihong Peng Xiaobin Li | 2023 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,9: | 0 |
