1Microcrack analysis of Sanya grantite fragments from rockburst tests显示文摘Fractures running along a plane reflect the cracking progress.In this paper uniaxial and rockburst tests on a group of granite specimens from Sanya province are described.Scanning electron microscopic imaging was used to characterize the fragments.Fractal fracture mechanics were used to analyze the microcracks in terms of both the crack type and the mineral constituent.A statistical analysis showed that the area of inter-granular cracking exceeds that of intra-granular cracking.Several types of crack were observed in the cracked areas.The percentage of intra-granular cracks in fragments from rockburst tests exceeds that from uniaxial compression tests.The results also showed that feldspar deformation was the main cause of fracture and that the consolidation along quartz grain boundaries was another weak area in the granite.Cracking along quartz grains had enough energy to enter the quartz crystal in the rockburst samples.All these results contribute to further research on rockburst mechanics.HE, Manchao NIE, Wen HAN, Liqiang LING, Lijing 2010Mining Science and Technology2010,20,2:11
2Comparative genomic and transcriptomic analyses uncover the molecular basis of high nitrogen-use efficiency in the wheat cultivar Kenong 9204显示文摘Studying the regulatory mechanisms that drive nitrogen-use efficiency(NUE)in crops is important for sustainable agriculture and environmental protection.In this study,we generated a high-quality genome assembly for the high-NUE wheat cultivar Kenong 9204 and systematically analyzed genes related to nitrogen uptake and metabolism.By comparative analyses,we found that the high-affinity nitrate transporter gene family had expanded in Triticeae.Further studies showed that subsequent functional differentiation endowed the expanded family members with saline inducibility,providing a genetic basis for improving the adaptability of wheat to nitrogen deficiency in various habitats.To explore the genetic and molecular mechanisms of high NUE,we compared genomic and transcriptomic data from the high-NUE cultivar Kenong 9204(KN9204)and the low-NUE cultivar Jing 411 and quantified their nitrogen accumulation under high-and low-nitrogen conditions.Compared with Jing 411,KN9204 absorbed significantly more nitrogen at the reproductive stage after shooting and accumulated it in the shoots and seeds.Transcriptome data analysis revealed that nitrogen deficiency clearly suppressed the expression of genes related to cell division in the young spike of Jing 411,whereas this suppression of gene expression was much lower in KN9204.In addition,KN9204 maintained relatively high expression of NPF genes for a longer time than Jing 411 during seed maturity.Physiological and transcriptome data revealed that KN9204 was more tolerant of nitrogen deficiency than Jing 411,especially at the reproductive stage.The high NUE of KN9204 is an integrated effect controlled at different levels.Taken together,our data provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms of NUE and important gene resources for improving wheat cultivars with a higher NUE trait.Xiaoli Shi Fa Cui Xinyin Han Yilin He Long Zhao Na Zhang Hao Zhang Haidong Zhu Zhexin Liu Bin Ma Shusong Zheng Wei Zhang Jiajia Liu Xiaoli Fan Yaoqi Si Shuiquan Tian Jianqing Niu Huilan Wu Xuemei Liu Zhuo Chen Deyuan Meng Xiaoyan Wang Liqiang Song Lijing Sun Jie Han Hui Zhao Jun Ji Zhiguo Wang Xiaoyu He Ruilin Li Xuebin Chi Chengzhi Liang Beifang Niu Jun Xiao Junming Li Hong-Qing Ling 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,9:6
3Adsorption removal of o-nitrophenol and p-nitrophenol from wastewater by metal–organic framework Cr-BDC显示文摘In the present paper, a metal–organic framework Cr-BDC was prepared and used as adsorbent for adsorption of o-nitrophenol(ONP) and p-nitrophenol(PNP) from aqueous solutions. Cr-BDC was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscope, X-ray diffraction and BET methods. The results indicate that Cr-BDC gets a very large specific surface area of 4128 m^2·g^(-1)and pore sizes are concentrated in 1 nm, which is a benefit for using for wastewater treatment. The influences of the adsorption conditions, such as temperature,solution concentration, adsorption time and reusability on adsorption performance were investigated. Cr-BDC exhibited an encouraging uptake capacity of 310.0 mg·g^(-1)for ONP, and adsorption capacity of Cr-BDC for ONP is significantly higher than that for PNP under suitable adsorption conditions. The characterizations of adsorption process were examined with the Lagergren pseudo-first-order, the pseudo-second-order kinetic model, and the intra-particular diffusion model. Kinetics experiments indicated that the pseudo-second-order model displayed the best correlation with adsorption kinetics data. Furthermore, our adsorption equilibrium data could be better described by the Freundlich equation. 5Development of a Percentile Based Three-dimensional Model of the Buttocks in Computer System显示文摘There are diverse products related to human buttocks, which need to be designed, manufactured and evaluated with 3D buttock model. The 3D buttock model used in present research field is just simple approximate model similar to human buttocks. The 3D buttock percentile model is highly desired in the ergonomics design and evaluation for these products. So far, there is no research on the percentile sizing system of human 3D buttock model. So the purpose of this paper is to develop a new method for building three-dimensional buttock percentile model in computer system. After scanning the 3D shape of buttocks, the cloud data of 3D points is imported into the reverse engineering software(Geomagic) for the reconstructing of the buttock surface model. Five characteristic dimensions of the buttock are measured through mark-points after models being imported into engineering software CATIA. A series of space points are obtained by the intersecting of the cutting slices and 3D buttock surface model, and then are ordered based on the sequence number of the horizontal and vertical slices. The 1st, 5th, 50 th, 95 th, 99 th percentile values of the five dimensions and the spatial coordinate values of the space points are obtained, and used to reconstruct percentile buttock models. This research proposes a establishing method of percentile sizing system of buttock 3D model based on the percentile values of the ischial tuberosities diameter, the distances from margin to ischial tuberosity and the space coordinates value of coordinate points, for establishing the Nth percentile 3D buttock model and every special buttock types model. 6New loci for refractive errors and ocular biometric parameters in young Chinese Han adults显示文摘Myopia has become a major public health issue with an increasing prevalence.There are still individuals who experience similar environmental risk factors and,yet,remain non-myopic.Thus,there might be genetic factors protecting people from myopia.Considering the opposite ocular characteristics of primary angle closure glaucoma(PACG)to myopia and possible common pathway between them,we propose that certain risk genes for PACG might act as a protective factor for myopia.In this study,2,678 young adults were genotyped for 37 targeted single nucleotide polymorphisms.Compared with emmetropia,rs1401999(allele C:OR=0.795,P=0.03;genotype in dominant model:OR=0.759,P=0.02)and rs1258267(allele A:OR=0.824,P=0.03;genotype in dominant model:OR=0.603,P=0.01)were associated with low to moderate myopia and high myopia,respectively.Genotype under recessive model of rs11024102 was correlated with myopia(OR=1.456,P=0.01),low to moderate myopia(OR=1.443,P=0.02)and high myopia(OR=1.453,P=0.02).However,these associations did not survive Bonferroni correction.Moreover,rs1401999,rs1258267,and rs11024102 showed associations with certain ocular biometric parameters in different groups.Our study suggests that ABCC5,CHAT and PLEKHA7 might be associated with refractive errors by contributing to the regulation of ocular biometry,in terms of uncorrected results and their biological functions.Yunyun Sun Zi-Bing Jin Shifei Wei Hongyan Jia Kai Cao Jianping Hu Caixia Lin Wenzai An Jiyuan Guo He LiJing Fu Shi-Ming Li Ningli Wang the Anyang University Students Eye Study Group the Anyang University Students Eye Study Group 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,10:1

9Relation of tea ingestion to salivary redox and flow rate in healthy subjects显示文摘The biochemistry of human saliva can be altered by food intake.The benefits of tea drinking were extensively studied but the influence of tea ingestion on human saliva has not been revealed.The work aimed to investigate the immediate and delayed effect of vine tea,oolong tea and black tea intake on certain salivary biochemistry and flow rate.The saliva samples of healthy subjects were collected before,after and 30 min after tea ingestion.The chemical compositions and antioxidant capacity of tea samples were analyzed to correlate with salivary parameters.Principal component analysis indicated that the effects of vine tea consumption were dominated by increasing salivary flow rate(SFR),production rate of total protein(TPC),thiol(SH),malondialdehyde,catalase activity and antioxidant capacity(FRAP)in saliva.The antioxidant profile of studied tea samples(FRAP,polyphenols,flavonoids)was positively correlated with salivary SFR,TPC,SH and FRAP but negatively correlated with salivary uric acid concentration in saliva.Pik Han Chong Qiaojuan He Suyun Zhang Jianwu Zhou Pingfan Rao Min Zhang Lijing Ke 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,6:0
10Ultrasmall Ru nanoparticles supported on chitin nanofibers for hydrogen production from NaBH4 hydrolysis显示文摘In this work,a series of chitin-supported Ru catalysts,composed of ultrasmall Ru nanoparticles supported on the chitin nanofibers,with different Ru content from 0.07 wt%to 0.93 wt%,are fabricated.Results from catalyzed NaBH4 hydrolysis experiments indicate that the catalytic activity of the fabricated chitin-supported Ru catalysts increases gradually with the decreasing of Ru content.The rate of hydrogen generation from NaBH4 hydrolysis catalyzed by the catalyst with 0.07 wt%Ru content is as high as 55.29 L min 1 gRu-1 at 30℃,and this reaction exhibits activation energy of 39.16 kJ/mol.The augment of NaBH4 dosage in the experiments does not weaken the catalytic activity.In addition,the fabricated chitin-supported Ru catalysts show excellent durability in NaBH4 hydrolysis,with only 9.2%activity loss after used for 20 cycles.With excellent catalytic activity and durability,the as-obtained Ru catalysts provide a promising choice for promoting hydrogen production from NaBH4 hydrolysis.Jiapeng Zhang Fanzhen Lin Lijing Yang Zhaoyi He Xiaoshan Huang Dingwei Zhang Hua Dong 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,7:0
11Detection of new antibiotic resistance gene profile in Escherichia coliassociated with avian leukosis virus infection from broiler chickens显示文摘The Escherichia coli(E.coli)is prevailing worldwide,but the epidemiology of E.coli infections feature regional distribution characteristics to some extent.E.coli,as a zoonotic pathogen,can be transferred from animals to humans through food chain or via contact with wounds,causing a public health risk.We reported the swelling of proventriculus and tracheal bleeding following the death in two broiler chickens(Gallus gallus domesticus)from Beijing,China.To investigate whether a virus was involved in the infection,Madin Darby Bovine Kidney(MDCK)cells were co-cultured with supernatants of proventriculus,trachea and spleen homogenates.The avian leucosis virus was detected in the samples of proventriculus and trachea,but the avian influenza virus,the Newcastle disease virus and the avian infectious laryngotracheitis virus were not detected.E.coli isolates were resistant to almost all the antimicrobial as tested except for the combinations of amoxicillin/clavulanic acid and sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim.PCR tests demonstrated the presence of antibiotic resistance genes in these E.coli isolates and further research revealed a novel gene profile with the presence of CTX-M-1,gyrA,gyrB,oqxA,oqxB,parC and Sul2 antibiotic resistance genes in a strain isolated from a proventriculus sample.These results demonstrated that the presence of antibiotic resistant E.coli would not necessarily cause outbreak of large-scale disease.However,when the bacteria carrying new antibiotic resistance genes enter the environment,it may result in the development of more virulent strains which will potentially impact human and animal health.HAIFENG WANG JUAN GUO LIJING ZHENG SHUYING LIU ZHERONG WANG HONGXUAN HE 2020BIOCELL2020,44,2:0

13Clinical Application of PES Membrane Dialyzer显示文摘Objective The dialysate membrane can be classified into acetate membrane and synthetic membrane,while the latter can be further divided into polysulfone,polyacrylonitrile,etc.Polyethersulfone membrane is high molecular membrane material with excellent biocompatibility,stable mechanical properties,high temperature and pressure resistance,and good cleaning performance,which has been applied for more than 10 years.This trial is to assess the safety and efficacy of hollow polysulfone membrane fiber dialyzer with pattern number Enttex^(TM)-16LF(E60)for hemodialysis in patients with acute or chronic renal failure due to multiple factors.Methods Totally 76 patients receiving maintenance hemodialysis were included in a two-site,random,open label,two-stage,positive crossover and non inferiority validation study.The clinical efficacy and safety of the test device were observed,which was a hollow fiber dialyzer produced by Guangzhou Enttex Medical Products Co.,Ltd.,with polyethersulfone membrane imported from Germany.It was a low flux dialyzer with the pattern number of EnttexTM-16LF(E60).Inclusion criteria:①patients with acute or chronic renal failure due to various reasons who needed hemodialysis;②18 to 80 years old,gender unlimited;③patients who received stable dialysis for more than 3 months,regular hemodialysis 3 times a week,4 h at each time,blood flow rate of 200~350ml/min;④using bicarbonate dialysate at a flow rate of 500ml/min;⑤patients with arteriovenous fistula or who received artificial blood vessel puncture dialysis;received anticoagulation by heparin or low molecular weight heparin.Exclusion criteria:①patients needing heparin free dialysis for severe anemia,tumor and active bleeding;②patients with severe cardiac(gradeⅢcardiac function),hepatic(severe hepatitis and cirrhosis)and pulmonary diseases(severe respiratory failure).Results Comparison of parameters,including the changes of Kt/V,general creatinine and urea clearance rates and URR(urea reduction rate)shows no statistical significance in differences between the two devices,indicating that the test and control devices can equally and effectively eliminate toxins including creatinine and urea,etc.PPP and MITTP results are consistent.Comparison of ultrafiltration rates between two groups of patients shows no statistical difference.PPP and MITTP results are consistent,indicating that both the test device and control device can effectively eliminate water.In MITTP,electrolytes including K^+,Na^+,Cl^-,Ca^2+,HCO3^-,etc.show no statistical significance in difference between the test and control devices before and after dialysis(P>0.05).After treating by using test and control devices,body weight,serum potassium and phos-phorus all significantly decrease(P<0.001);serum Ca^2+,PO2,PCO2and HCO3^-all significantly increase(P<0.001).These results indicate that both the test and control devices can effectively eliminate serum potassium and phosphorus,and eliminate excess water in body,maintain the balance between liquid and electrolytes in patients.PPP and MITTP results are consistent.Conclusion This clinical trial confirms that hollow polyethersulfone membrane fiber dialyzer can be safely and effectively used in hemodialysis therapy.YUN Chen YANG Peidian LIANG Wenxue CHEN Yu CHEN Gangyi LIU Hongping OUYANG Zihua SONG Huifeng LI Yunyi YU Zongchao GUAN Baozhang DONG Xiangnan LIU Huanhuan Cao Rui ZHANG Zeyu FAN Lijing HU Bo HE Yongcheng SHI Mingjie XU Jun Yang Lifeng TANG Shuifu 2019临床医学工程2019,26,S01:0
