12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 6Aging Resistance Evaluation of Aged Paper Reinforced with Different Nanocelluloses显示文摘Paper documents experience severe acidification and embrittlement.Nanocellulose is an excellent reinforcement material for paper documents owing to its compatibility and excellent mechanical strength.However,little research has been conducted on the aging resistance of nanocellulose-reinforced paper.In this study,six types of nanocelluloses were used to reinforce aged paper.The reinforcement and anti-aging performances were evaluated,and the anti-aging mechanism was further clarified.Nanocellulose with a high degree of polymerization can better enhance aged paper,and non-chemical nanocellulose also shows better anti-aging performance,such as nanocellulose prepared by mechanical or biological methods.However,nanocellulose prepared using chemical methods exhibits poor reinforcement and anti-aging performance.This is because it has a small particle size that is not beneficial for physical crosslinking with paper fibers.More importantly,the introduction of acidic or oxidizing groups on nanocellulose accelerates the acid hydrolysis and oxidation rate of paper fibers,especially nanocellulose prepared by 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl oxidation,which should not be used to protect paper documents.Xian Cao Bei He Jianlin Wang Chunhui Zhang Donglin Tang Qingyou Liang Chuanfu Liu Huiming Fan Junli Ren 2023Paper And Biomaterials2023,8,3:0
7Facile and Low-Cost Fabrication of a Thread/Paper-Based Wearable System for Simultaneous Detection of Lactate and pH in Human Sweat显示文摘Wearable devices have received tremendous interests in human sweat analysis in the past few years.However,the widely used polymeric substrates and the layer-by-layer stacking structures greatly influence the cost-efficiency,conformability and breathability of the devices,further hindering their practical applications.Herein,we report a facile and low-cost strategy for the fabrication of a skin-friendly thread/paper-based wearable system consisting of a sweat reservoir and a multi-sensing component for simultaneous in situ analysis of sweat pH and lactate.In the system,hydrophilic silk thread serves as the micro-channel to guide the liquid flow.Filter papers were functionalized to prepare colorimetric sensors for lactate and pH.The smartphone-based quantitative analysis shows that the sensors are sensitive and reliable.Although pH may interfere the lactate detection,the pH detected simultaneously could be employed to correct the measured data for the achievement of a precise lactate level.After being integrated with a hydrophobic arm guard,the system was successfully used for the on-body measurement of pH and lactate in the sweats secreted from the volunteers.This low-cost,easy-to-fabricate,light-weight and flexible thread/paper-based microfluidic sensing device may hold great potentials as a wearable system in human sweat analysis and point-of-care diagnostics.Gang Xiao Jing He Yan Qiao Feng Wang Qingyou Xia Xin Wang Ling Yu Zhisong Lu Chang-Ming Li 2020Advanced Fiber Materials2020,2,5:0
8Speckle suppression in synthetic aperture radar ocean internal solitary wave images with curvelet transform显示文摘This paper proposes a speckle-suppression method for ocean internal solitary wave(ISW) synthetic aperture radar(SAR) images by using the curvelet transform.The band-shaped signatures of ocean ISWs in SAR images show obvious scale and directional characteristics.The curvelet transform possesses a very high scale and directional sensitivity.Therefore,the curvelet transform is very efficient in analyzing wave signals in SAR images.A noisy ocean ISW SAR image can be decomposed at different scales,directions,and positions using the curvelet transform.The information of the ISWs is centralized in the curvelet coefficients of certain directions under certain scales,whereas the speckle noise is distributed in every scale and direction.By manipulating the curvelet coefficients,the signals of the ISWs can be extracted from the noisy SAR image.Finally,the speckle noise is suppressed and the ISW feature is enhanced by adding the signals of the ISWs back to the original SAR image.Experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of this method.ZHA Guozhena HE Qingyou GUAN Changlonga SUN Jian HE Mingxia 2016Acta Oceanologica Sinica2016,35,9:0

10A Lagrangian study of the near-surface intrusion of Pacific water into the South China Sea显示文摘Satellite-tracked Lagrangian drifters are used to investigate the transport pathways of near-surface water around the Luzon Strait. Particular attention is paid to the intrusion of Pacific water into the South China Sea (SCS). Results from drifter observations suggest that except for the Kuroshio water,other Pacific water that carried by zonal jets,Ekman currents or eddies,can also intrude into the SCS. Motivated by this origin problem of the intrusion water,numerous simulated trajectories are constructed by altimeter-based velocities. Quantitative estimates from simulated trajectories suggest that the contribution of other Pacific water to the total intrusion flux in the Luzon Strait is approximately 13% on average,much smaller than that of Kuroshio water. Even so,over multiple years and many individual intrusion events,the contribution from other Pacific water is quite considerable. The interannual signal in the intrusion flux of these Pacific water might be closely related to variations in a wintertime westward current and eddy activities east of the Luzon Strait. We also found that Ekman drift could significantly contribute to the intrusion of Pacific water and could affect the spreading of intrusion water in the SCS. 11A curvelet-based method to determine wave directions from nautical X-band radar images显示文摘A new method to determine wave directions from nautical X-band images is proposed. The signatures of ocean waves show obvious scale and directional characteristics in nautical X-band radar images. Curvelet transform(CT) possesses very high scale and directional sensitivities. Therefore, it has good capability to analyze ocean wave fields. The radar images are decomposed at different scales, in different directions, and at different positions by CT, and curvelet coefficients are obtained. Given to the scale and directional characteristics of surface waves,the information of ocean waves is centralized in the curvelet coefficients of certain directions and at certain scales.Therefore, the wave orientations can be determined. The 180 ambiguity is removed by calculating crosscorrelation coefficients(CCCs) between continuous collected images.
