1Reduction of the incidence and mortality of rectal cancer bypolypectomy:a prospective cohort study in Haining County显示文摘AIM: To reduce the incidence and morlality of rectal cancerand address the hypothesis that colorectal cancer often arisefrom precursor lesion (s), either adenomas or non-alenomatous polyps, by conducting a population-basedmass screening for colorectal cancer in Haining County,Zhejiang, PRCMETHODS: From 1977 to 1980, physicians screened thepopulation of Haining County using 15 cm rigid endoscopy.Of over 240 000 participants, 4076 of them were diagnoselwith Precursor Iesions, eitler alenomas or non-adenomatous polyps, which were then removedl surgically.All individuals with precursor lesionswere followed up andreexamined by endoscopy every two to five years upto 1998.RESULTS: After the initial screening, 953 metactronousadenomas and 417 non-adenomatous polyps ware detected andremoved from the members of this cohort. Further, 27 cases ofcolorectal cancer were detected and treated. Log-rank tuestsshowed that the survival time among those cancer patients whounderwent mass screening increased significantly comparedtothat of other colorectal cancer patients (P < 0.0001). 2Towed line array sonar platform noise suppression based on spatial matrix filtering technology显示文摘The spatial matrix filter was designed and used for solving the problem to detect a weak target who was influenced by the strong nearby platform noise interference of the towed Une array sonar.The MFP technology and the DOA estimation technology were combined together by using the sound propagation characteristics of both target and interference.The spatial matrix filter with platform noise zero response constraint was designed by the near-field platform noise normal modes copy vectors and the far-field plane wave bearing vectors together.The optimal solution of the optimization problem for designing the spatial matrix filter was deduced directly,and it was simplified by the generalized singular value decomposition.The total response error to the plane wave bearing vectors and the total response to the platform noise copy vectors were given.The phenomena that strong interferences existed in the bearing course and blind areas existed after filtering were analyzed by the correlation between the platform noise copy vectors and the plane wave bearing vectors.It could be found from simulations that it has less blind area and higher detection ability by using the spatial matrix filtering technology.HAN Dong LI Jian KANG Chunyu HUANG Haining LI Qihu 2013Chinese Journal of Acoustics2013,32,4:5

5Efficacy and complications of transarterial chemoembolization alone or in combination with different protocols for hepatocellular carcinoma: A Bayesian network meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials显示文摘Background and aims:Transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)is the standard treatment for most intermediate-toadvanced stage hepatocellular carcinoma.With the ongoing development of interventional therapies,TACE in combination with different protocols is being explored.A network meta-analysis to collect recent evidence in this field is required.Methods:We searched PubMed,Web of Science,Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials,Embase,Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure database,Cochrane Library,and Wanfang database from their inception to May 2022 for randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that reported TACE in combination with different protocols for hepatocellular carcinoma.Results:In total,67 RCTs assessing eight combination treatments were included.The quality of primary outcomes was from moderate to low.The Bayesian network meta-analysis confirmed that TACE combined with iodine-125 seed implantation had the highest probability of 1-year survival rate and TACE combined with sorafenib had the highest probability of 2-year survival rate.TACE alone had the highest probability of incidence of fever,TACE combined with sorafenib had the highest probability of incidence of pain and TACE combined with percutaneous ethanol injection had the highest probability of incidence of nausea and vomiting.Conclusion:This Bayesian network meta-analysis found that TACE combined with iodine-125 seed and TACE combined with sorafenib may benefit patients in terms of 1-year survival and 2-year survival,respectively.To confirm this conclusion,high-quality and well-designed RCTs with a larger sample size are needed.Jingxin Yan Manjun Deng Ting Li Changhao Dong Minglan Wang Shunyu Kong Yingxing Guo Haining Fan 2023iLIVER2023,2,2:1

9Optimizing flow field in an SCR system of a 600 MW power plant:effects of static mixer alignment style显示文摘The fluid flow in a selective catalytic reduction(SCR)system of a 600 MW power station is optimized using the numerical simulation method in this work.Given that guide plates and straightening gratings are properly installed,the relative standard deviation(C_(v))of velocity related to the inlet of an ammonia injection grid(AIG)and catalysts satisfy the engineering demand of<15%,suggesting that a relatively uniform velocity field is obtained.The in-line arrangement of static mixers strengthens the disturbance of fluid,promoting the mixing of reductant NH_(3)with flue gas.The NH_(3)mole fraction C_(v)value correlated to the inlet of catalysts drops to ca.3.5%,which is lower than that in the cases when the mixers are aligned in a staggered style.These results indicate that a solid foundation is achieved for the effective abatement of NO_(x)in practical applications.Dong Ye Xiaoxiang Wang Runxian Wang Shujie Gao Hui Liu Haining Wang 2021Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2021,3,4:1

13Enzymatic pretreatment mitigates the dissemination of antibiotic resistance genes via regulating microbial populations and gene expressions during food waste fermentation显示文摘Food waste(FW)has been recognized as essential reservoir for resource recovery via anaerobic fermentation,which could also bring the potential risk of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)dissemination.Although the structural deficiency of FW could be stimulated by enzymatic pretreatment to enhance fermentation efficiency,the influences of enzymatic pretreatment on ARGs fate and microbial metabolic pathways involved in ARGs dissemination have rarely been reported.This work proved that enzymatic pretreatment could effectively decrease the total abundance of ARGs(reduced by 13.8%-24.5%)during long-term FW fermentation.It was found that enzymatic pretreatment significantly reduced the ARGs belonging to the efflux pump,which might be ascribed to its ability to increase membrane permeability.Furthermore,enzymatic pretreatment was in favor of reducing microbial diversity and various potential ARGs host(e.g.,Methanosarcina,Clostridium,Prevotella,Parabacteroides).Also,this pretreatment remarkably up-regulated the genetic expressions involved in ABC transporter(e.g.,eryF and mntA)and down-regulated the genetic expressions that participated in DNA replication,two-component systems(e.g.,uphA and cckA),and quorum sensing(e.g.,rpfF and lsrG),thereby decreasing ARGs transmission.This study would expand the insight of the influences of pretreatment method on ARGs fate during FW fermentation,and offer practical guidance on the sustainable management of FW.Yang Wu Wanying Hu Haining Huang Xiong Zheng Lei Dong Yinguang Chen 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,8:0
14Investigation on the Hg^(0) adsorption performance of Na_(2)S- and S^(0)-modified ZSM-5 adsorbent显示文摘In this study,a series of Na_(2)S-and S^(0)-decorated ZSM-5 adsorbents were prepared and their Hg^(0) adsorption performance was evaluated.Given that S^(0) and Na_(2)S were co-doped with the mass ratio of S^(0) to ZSM-5 fixed to 2:1,Hg^(0) removal efficiency quadruples compared with raw ZSM-5 and reached ca.100%at 300°C.Combined with the characterization results,it could be concluded that chemical properties,instead of physical structures,played an important role in Hg^(0) removal.Among the various gas components,O_(2),NO,and SO_(2) made negligible impacts on Hg^(0) capture over 2:1-S/ZSM-5 adsorbent surface.After recycling four times,Hg^(0) removal efficiency of 2:1-S/ZSM-5 adsorbent remained higher than 80%,which was indica-tive of a certain recyclability.Finally,XPS results illustrated that S^(0) and S^(2−)on 2:1-S/ZSM-5 surface functioned as the active sites for the transformation of Hg^(0) to HgS,which facilitated the chemisorption process and consequently led to an improved Hg^(0) capture performance.Haining Wang Hanyang Huang Wei Ma Dong Ye Yingbin Zhang 2021Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2021,3,3:0
15New insights into the relationships between performance and physicochemical properties of FeO_(x)-NbO_(x)mixed oxide catalysts for the NH_(3)-SCR reactions显示文摘In this study,we prepared Fe_(2)O_(3)-Nb_(2)O_(5)binary mixed oxide catalysts using co-precipitation(CP),sol-gel(SG),and solid process(SR)methods and tested their performance.All the catalysts exhibited over 75%NO_(x)removal efficiency between 250℃and 400℃.Compared with the samples prepared by the SR method,catalyst synthesized using CP and SG methods possessed a larger specific surface area,which could compensate for the lower surface area-normalized reaction rate originat-ing from the insufficient reactive surface oxygen species,hence exhibiting a relatively high low-temperature apparent deNO_(x)activity.However,at a high-temperature region,limited amount of reactive surface oxygen species,together with abundant strong acid sites,facilitated the proceeding of NH_(3)reduction of NO_(x),which well explained the higher apparent activity of the catalyst prepared by SG method than the other two samples.It seemed that specific surface area had an important role to play in the low-temperature apparent performance of the catalysts,while chemical properties mainly decided the activity at an elevated temperature.Dong Ye Xiaoxiang Wang Hui Liu Haining Wang 2021Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2021,3,2:0
16Mechanistic investigation on Hg^(0) capture over MnO_(x) adsorbents:effects of the synthesis methods显示文摘This study demonstrated the impacts of the synthesis methods on the textural structures,chemical properties,and Hg^(0)capture capability of the MnO_(x)system.Compared with the samples synthesized using the precipitation(PR)and hydrothermal(HT)methods,the adsorbent prepared via the sol-gel(SG)technique gave the best performance.At 150℃,ca.90%Hg^(0)removal efficiency was reached after 7.5 h for MnO_(x)prepared by the SG method,ca.40%higher than that of the other two methods.The specific surface area of the adsorbent synthesized via the SG technique(23 m^(2)/g)was almost double that of the adsorbent prepared by the HT method(12 m^(2)/g)and three times that of the one prepared by the PR method(7 m^(2)/g).The presence of plentiful acid sites from the SG method facilitated the physisorption of Hg^(0),making more Hg^(0)available to be oxidized to HgO by the redox sites and thus giving the adsorbent prepared by the SG method the highest Hg^(0)removal efficiency.The strong oxidative ability accelerated the oxidation of the physically adsorbed Hg^(0)to HgO,which explained the higher Hg^(0)removal efficiency of the sample prepared using the HT method than that of the one synthesized by the PR technique.During the whole Hg^(0)removal cycles,chemisorption dominated,with the initial adsorption stage and the external mass-transfer process playing important roles.Dong YE Yongjin HU Zhichang JIANG Xin LIU Haining WANG 2023Journal of Zhejiang University-Science A(Applied Physics & Engineering)2023,24,1:0
