| 2 | Travel Behaviours of Sharing Bicycles in the Central Urban Area Based on Geographically Weighted Regression: The Case of Guangzhou, China显示文摘Mobile information and communication technologies(MICTs) have fully penetrated everyday life in smart societies;this has greatly compressed time, space, and distance, and consequently, reshaped residents’ travel behaviour patterns. As a new mode of shared mobility, the sharing bicycle offers a variety of options for the daily travel of urban residents. Extant studies have mainly examined the travel characteristics and influencing factors of public bicycles with piles, while the travel patterns for sharing bicycles and their driving mechanisms have been largely ignored. Using one week’s travel data for Mobike, this study investigated the spatial and temporal distribution patterns of sharing bicycle travel behaviours in the central urban area of Guangzhou, China;furthermore, it identified the influences of built environment density factors on sharing bicycle travel behaviours based on the geographically weighted regression method. Obvious morning and evening peaks were observed in the sharing bicycle travel patterns for both weekdays and weekends. The old urban area, which had a high degree of mixed function, dense road networks, and cycling-friendly built environments, was the main travel area that attracted sharing bicycles on both weekdays and weekends. Furthermore, factors including the point of interest(POI) for the density of public transport stations, the functional mixing degree, and the density of residential POIs significantly affected residents’ travel behaviours. | 3 | Design and Optimization of Tandem Arranged Cascade in a Transonic Compressor显示文摘This study proposed a design and optimization strategy for a tandem arranged cascade using the Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm(NSGA) Ⅱ multi-objective optimization algorithm and Back Propagation(BP) neural network technology. The NASA Stage 35 was employed as the initial bench mark in the present study and five geometric control parameters were working as the optimization parameters aiming to enhance the aerodynamic performance in terms of total pressure rise and efficiency. Results showed that the feasibility and capability of the proposed optimization strategy was successfully examined. In view of the fact that the initial tandem cascade(directly scaling down from NASA Stage 35) cannot guarantee the aerodynamic performance, first optimization trial was conducted to optimize the initial design. Results showed that the optimum can improve the flow quality whereas the separation on the blade is decayed or even eliminated particularly at the tip and root regions. However, compared with the initial tandem design, the enhancement in total pressure ratio(0.47%) and efficiency(1%) are too small to be noticed. Second investigation was particularly emphasizing on a high turning tandem compressor with an increment by 28°. The pressure rise and efficiency were augmented by 1.44% and 2.34%(compared to the initial tandem design), respectively. | 4 | Protective effects of effective ingredients of Danshen (Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae)and Honghua (Flos Carthami)compatibility after rat hippocampal neurons induced by hypoxia injury显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effective ingredients of Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae) and Honghua(Flos Carthami)(Danhong) on protective properties towards neonatal rat hippocampal neurons under hypoxia condition.METHODS: Primary culture of neonatal rat hippocampal neurons was used to model hypoxia damage on the hippocampus. Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT) assay and preliminary experiments were conducted to identify the four effective ingredients of Danhong, along with the injection of positive drug onto hippocampal neurons at a non-toxic dosage level. The cultured cells were randomly divided into 12 groups: the normal group, model group,positive drug control group and nine compatibility groups of the four effective ingredients. Different test methods were applied to determine lactate dehydrogenasein(LDH), total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD), malondialdehyde(MDA), 6-keto prostaglandin F_(la)(6-keto-PGF_(1 a)), thromboxane B_2(TXB_2),mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP), free calcium ions concentration([Ca^(2 +)]i) and early onsetcell apoptosis.RESULTS: Different compatibility groups could inhibit the content of LDH and intracellular calcium overload, increase activity in T-SOD, decrease level of MDA and TXB2, improve level of 6-keto-PGF1 aand MMP, and prevent the early onset cell apoptosis.CONCLUSION: The compatibility of four effective ingredients of Danhong had protective effect toward hippocampi hypoxia. | 5 | Experimental Study on the Protection of Agrimony Extracts from Different Extracting Methods against Cerebral Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury显示文摘Objective To study the protective effect of agrimony extracts from different extracting methods on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats, in order to optimize the extraction scheme of agrimony.Methods Male rats were randomly assigned into seven groups: 1. Sham-operated group, 2. Untreated MCAO group (MCAO), 3. Petroleum ether extract of Agrimonia pilosa treated MCAO group (PEA), 4. Ethyl acetate extract of Agrimonia pilosa treated MCAO group (EAEA), 5. Ethanol extract of Agrimonia pilosa treated MCAO group (EEA), 6. Water extract of Agrimonia pilosa treated MCAO group (WEA), 7. Nimodipine treated MCAO group (NP). Intragastrical drug administration (i.g) was performed at 0 and 6 hours after MCAO.Neurological function tests were performed after reperfusion for 24 hours, then the brain was removed for the evaluations of the cerebral infarction volume (percentage of total brain volume) by immunohistochemistry,histological changes (hematoxylin-eosin staining), Na+/K+-ATPase, Ca2+-ATPase (modified method of Svoboda and Mosinger), mRNA expression of Tumor suppressor gene (P53) and hot shock protein (HSP70)(quantitative real-time PCR).Results The neurological function of MCAO group had significantly higher scores than the sham group (P<0.01). The WEA group showed a significantly lower neurological score than the MCAO group (P<0.05),indicating the protective effect of WEA on neurological deficits. The mean infarction volumes of WEA (13.5±6.6%, F=4.75, P<0.01), EEA (19.90±6.90%, F=5.23, P<0.01), PEA (20.40±5.30%, F=4.68,P<0.01) and EAEA (22.50±10.50%, F=6.25, P<0.05) group were all significantly smaller than that of MCAO group (29.40±6.50%). HE staining demonstrated that, compared to the treated groups, the infarcted cerebral tissue of MCAO group had more swelling neural cells, lighter stained nucleus, fewer and irregularly distributed neurons. The activity of Na+/K+-ATPase and Ca2+-ATPase reduced in the MCAO group (3.67±0.48 U/mg,1.28±0.26 U/mg, respectively), and were significantly higher in WEA group (7.56±0.85 U/mg, F=12.65,P=0.010; 3.59±0.22 U/mg, F=8.32, P=0.041, respectively). The MCAO group showed significantly elevated P53 and HSP70 mRNA expressions compared to the sham group (P<0.01, P<0.05). P53 mRNA expressions in Agrimony extracts treated groups were significantly lower than that of the MCAO group (all P<0.01), with the WEA group showing the greatest difference from MCAO group.
