1The Exhumation History of North Qaidam Thrust Belt Constrained by Apatite Fission Track Thermochronology:Implication for the Evolution of the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Determining the spatio-temporal distribution of the deformation tied to the India-Eurasian convergence and the impact of pre-existing weaknesses on the Cenozoic crustal deformation is significant for understanding how the convergence between India and Eurasia contributed to the development of the Tibetan Plateau. The exhumation history of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau was addressed in this research using a new apatite fission track(AFT) study in the North Qaidam thrust belt(NQTB). Three granite samples collected from the Qaidam Shan pluton in the north tied to the Qaidam Shan thrust, with AFT ages clustering in the Eocene to Miocene. The other thirteen samples obtained from the Luliang Shan and Yuka plutons in the south related to the Luliang Shan thrust and they have showed predominantly the Cretaceous AFT ages. Related thermal history modeling based on grain ages and track lengths indicates rapid cooling events during the Eocene-early Oligocene and since late Miocene within the Qaidam Shan, in contrast to those in the Cretaceous and since the Oligocene-Miocene in the Luliang Shan and Yuka region. The results, combined with published the Cretaceous thermochronological ages in the Qaidam Shan region, suggest that the NQTB had undergo rapid exhumation during the accretions along the southern Asian Andean-type margin prior to the India-Eurasian collision. The Cenozoic deformation initially took place in the North Qaidam thrust belt by the Eocene, which is consistent with the recent claim that the deformation of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau initiated in the Eocene as a response to continental collision between India and Eurasia. 3Correlations Between Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms,Cognitive Dysfunction,and Postmortem Brain Pathology in Alzheimer's Disease Among Han Chinese显示文摘In this study, the distribution of five Alzheimer's disease(AD)-related single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) in the Han population was examined in combination with the evaluation of clinical cognition and brain pathological analysis. The associations among SNPs,clinical daily cognitive states, and postmortem neuropathological changes were analyzed in 110 human brains from the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences/Peking Union Medical College(CAMS/PUMC) Human Brain Bank.APOE ?4(OR = 4.482, P = 0.004), the RS2305421 GG genotype(adjusted OR = 4.397, P = 0.015), and the RS10498633 GT genotype(adjusted OR = 2.375,P = 0.028) were associated with a higher score on the ABC(Ab plaque score, Braak NFT stage, and CERAD neuritic plaque score) dementia scale. 4The Ductile Deformation Characteristics of Caledonian Intracontinental Orogeny in the Northeastern Jiangshan-Shaoxing Tectonic Zone:Insights from Magnetic Fabric Study and Its Geodynamic Implication显示文摘The Jiangshan-Shaoxing tectonic zone was the northeastern boundary between the Yangtze Block and the Cathaysia Block during the Neoproterozoic and was an intracontinental orogenic belt during late of the early Paleozoic.In this tectonic zone,there develops a lot of mylonite underwent strong ductile deformation and schist,gneiss,and amphibolite with medium and high grade metamorphism which was formed during the late of early Paleozoic.The research of geometry and kinematic of ductile deformation in Jiangshan-Shaoxing tectonic zone is very important to reveal the tectonic process of intracontinental orogeny.This paper uses the anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility(AMS)to determine the ductile deformation geometry and kinematic of Jiangshan-Shaoxing tectonic zone combing with the field survey.In this study,190 specimens of 19 locations and 221 specimens of23 locations from Wangjiazhai section and Lipu-Sizhai section were analyzed.The magnetic foliation over magnetic lineation in both Wangjiazhai and Lipu-Sizhai sections together with the field observations indicated a compressional deformation pattern.3 and 4 strong ductile deformation zones can be established in the Wangjiazhai section and the Lipu-Sizhai section,respectively.According to the magnetic fabric and petro-fabric studies,the Northeastern Jiangshan-Shaoxing tectonic zone suffered two kinds of deformation patterns during the late early Paleozoic,i.e.,the thrusting deformation followed by sinistral shear deformation.GONG Genhui CHEN Hanlin WANG Fang LIN Xiubin MENG Lifeng 2016Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2016,90,1:3
5Research on the Heat Transfer Characteristics of a Loop Heat Pipe Used as Mainline Heat Transfer Mode for Spacecraft显示文摘An experimental research is conducted on the heat transfer characteristics of a loop heat pipe(LHP)used in the'mainline'heat transfer mode for spacecraft platform thermal control.The heat from multiple instruments scattered in different locations is collected by thermal control techniques such as axially grooved heat pipes and then transmitted to the radiant surface for dissipation through the LHP in an unified way.The research contents include the start-up characteristics,the operational stability characteristics,the operational blocking characteristics,the continuous blocking characteristics,the heat transfer capability,the thermal resistance,and the dynamic response characteristics under the change of the heat sink temperature.The results show that the higher the auxiliary starting power is,the easier it is to start the LHP;the higher the input power of the thermoelectric cooler is,the more beneficial it is to speed up the stabilization of the vapor-liquid interface in the condenser;the higher the blocking power,the shorter the blocking time of the LHP;the LHP can be operated stably within the heat sink temperature alteration process;the heat transfer ability is higher than 500 W with a systematic thermal resistance of 0.037℃/W.WANG Lu MIAO Jianyin GONG Mingming ZHOU Qiangu LIU Changu ZHANG Hongxing FAN Hanlin 2019Journal of Thermal Science2019,28,4:2

9Performance test of a 5 kW solid oxide fuel cell system under high fuel utilization with industrial fuel gas feeding显示文摘As the demand for green energy with high efficiency and low carbon dioxide(CO2)emissions has increased,solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs)have been intensively developed in recent years.Integrated gasification fuel cells(IGFCs)in particular show potential for large-scale power generation to further increase system efficiency.Thus,for commercial application of IGFCs,it is important to design reliable multi-stacks for large systems that show long-term stability and practical fuel gas for application to industrial equipment.In this work,a test rig(of a 5 kW SOFC system,with syngas from industrial gasifiers as fuel)was fabricated and subjected to long-term tests under high fuel utilization to investigate its performance.The maximum steady output power of the system was 5700 W using hydrogen and 5660 W using syngas and the maximum steady electrical efficiency was 61.24%while the fuel utilization efficiency was 89.25%.The test lasted for more than 500 h as the fuel utilization efficiency was larger than 83%.The performances of each stack tower were almost identical at both the initial stage and after long-term operation.After 500 h operation,the performances of the stack towers decreased only slightly under lower current and showed almost no change under high current.These results demonstrate the reliability of the multi-stack design and the prospect of this SOFC power-generation system for further enlarging its application in a MWth demonstration.Ming Xu Hanlin Wang Mingxian Liu Jianning Zhao Yuqiong Zhang Pingping Li Mingliang Shi Siqi Gong Zhaohuan Zhang Chufu Li 2021International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2021,8,3:0
10Status of an MWth integrated gasification fuel cell powergeneration system in China显示文摘Abstract Here,we provide a status update of an integrated gasification fuel cell(IGFC)power-generation system being developed at the National Institute of Clean-and-Low-Carbon in China at the megawatt thermal(MWth)scale.This system is designed to use coal as fuel to produce syngas as a first step,similar to that employed for the integrated gasification combined cycle.Subsequently,the solid-oxide fuel-cell(SOFC)system is used to convert chemical energy to electricity directly through an electrochemical reaction without combustion.This system leads to higher efficiency as compared with that from a traditional coal-fired power plant.The unreacted fuel in the SOFC system is transported to an oxygencombustor to be converted to steam and carbon dioxide(CO_(2)).Through a heat-recovery system,the steam is condensed and removed,and CO_(2) is enriched and captured for sequestration or utilization.Comprehensive economic analyses for a typical IGFC system was performed and the results were compared with those for a supercritical pulverized coal-fired power plant.The SOFC stacks selected for IGFC development were tested and qualified under hydrogen and simulated coal syngas fuel.Experimental results using SOFC stacks and thermodynamic analyses indicated that the control of hydrogen/CO ratio of syngas and steam/CO ratio is important to avoid carbon deposition with the fuel pipe.A 20-kW SOFC unit is under development with design power output of 20 kW and DC efficiency of 50.41%.A 100 kW-level subsystem will consist of 6920-kW power-generation units,and the MWth IGFC system will consist of 59100 kWlevel subsystems.Chang Wei Zhien Liu Chufu Li Surinder Singh Haoren Lu Yudong Gong Pingping Li Hanlin Wang Xia Yang Ming Xu Shujun Mu 2021International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2021,8,3:0
