1Evolution of Sedimentation and Tectonics of the Youjiang Composite Basin, South China显示文摘Located at the southern margin of the South China plate, the Youjiang basin is a closely related to the NW- and NE-trending syndepositional faults in respect to the configuration and structure of the basin. The evolution of the Youjiang basin progressed through two stages. In the Hercynian period, the opening of the Ailaoshan-Honghe ocean basin gave rise to a number of NW-trending rift belts in the Youjiang area. During this period, deep-water sediments were dominant and the basin was possesed of the characteristics of the rift system of passive continental margins. In the early Indosinian after the Dongwu movement, the circum - Pacific tectonism led to a major change in the configuration and structure of the basin. In the meantime, the Ailaoshan ocean basin began to be subducted towards the northeast, thus causing the basin to be split and expand again, and then the basin developed into the stage of the back -arc basin. 2Remaining useful life prediction based on variation coefficient consistency test of a Wiener process显示文摘High-cost equipment is often reused after maintenance, and whether the information before the maintenance can be used for the Remaining Useful Life(RUL) prediction after the maintenance is directly determined by the consistency of the degradation pattern before and after the maintenance.Aiming at this problem, an RUL prediction method based on the consistency test of a Wiener process is proposed.Firstly, the parameters of the Wiener process estimated by Maximum Likelihood Estimation(MLE) are proved to be biased, and a modified unbiased estimation method is proposed and verified by derivation and simulations.Then, the h statistic is constructed according to the reciprocal of the variation coefficient of the Wiener process, and the sampling distribution is derived.Meanwhile, a universal method for the consistency test is proposed based on the sampling distribution theorem, which is verified by simulation data and classical crack degradation data.Finally, based on the consistency test of the degradation model, a weighted fusion RUL prediction method is presented for the fuel pump of an airplane, and the validity of the presented method is verified by accurate computation results of real data, which provides a theoretical and practical guidance for engineers to predict the RUL of equipment after maintenance.Juan LI Bo JING Hongde DAI Xiaoxuan JIAO Xiaodong LIU 2018Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2018,31,1:5

4Microdisk lasers on an erbium-doped lithium-niobite chip显示文摘Lithium niobate on insulator(LNOI) provides a platform for the fundamental physics investigations and practical applications of integrated photonics. However, as an indispensable building block of integrated photonics, lasers are in short supply. In this paper, erbium-doped LNOI laser in the 1550-nm band was demonstrated in microdisk cavities with high quality factors fabricated in batches by UV exposure, inductively coupled plasma reactive ion etching, and chemomechanical polishing. The threshold and conversion efficiency of the erbium-doped LNOI microdisk laser were measured to be lower than 1 m W and 6.5×10^(-5)%, respectively. 5The real-time dynamic holographic display of LN:Bi,Mg crystals and defect-related electron mobility显示文摘Holographic display has attracted widespread interest because of its ability to show the complete information of the object and bring people an unprecedented sense of presence. The absence of ideal recording materials has hampered the realization of their commercial applications. Here we report that the response time of a bismuth and magnesium codoped lithium niobate(LN:Bi,Mg) crystal is shortened to 7.2 ms and a sensitivity as high as 646 cm/J. The crystal was used to demonstrate a real-time holographic display with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, as that of the popular high-definition television. 11Analysis of nucleosome positioning in promoters of miRNA genes and protein-coding genes显示文摘Nucleosome positioning in promoters is important for gene transcription regulation. In this paper, with a nucleosome prediction model, curvature profile, the characteristics of nucleosome positioning in promoters are analyzed for miRNA genes and protein-coding genes. In the vicinity of transcription start site (TSS), there is a nucleosome-free region (NFR) followed by a positioned nucleosome at ~200 bp downstream of TSS. A similar characteristic is observed in independent intronic promoters and intergenic promoters, namely, both types of promoters have a longer NFR in 0—-400 bp upstream of TSS. Moreover, transcription factor binding sites (TFBSs) locate in the NFR with a high concentration. However, nucleosome pattern in dependent intronic promoters are like that in protein-coding promoters, with two nucleosomes positioned at -200—-400 bp and -400—-600 bp upstream of TSS. 12Geological Features of Devonian Sedimentary Basins in South China and Their Deposition and Mineralization显示文摘The Devonian succession in South China is well-known for its complete development, vari-fied sedimentary types, remarkable lithofacies variation and abundant mineral resources. The South China plate was formed by the collision and collage of the Yangtze plate and the Cathaysian plate. The collision began approximately at the Jinningian stage and the collage was not finalized until the Guangxian movement. 14Enhanced protective immunity against SARS-CoV-2 elicited by a VSV vector expressing a chimeric spike protein显示文摘SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV are genetically related coronavirus and share the same cellular receptor ACE2.By replacing the VSV glycoprotein with the spikes(S)of SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV,we generated two replication-competent recombinant viruses,rVSVSARS-CoV-2 and rVSV-SARS-CoV.Using wild-type and human ACE2(hACE2)knock-in mouse models,we found a single dose of rVSV-SARS-CoV could elicit strong humoral immune response via both intranasal(i.n.)and intramuscular(i.m.)routes.Despite the high genetic similarity between SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV,no obvious cross-neutralizing activity was observed in the immunized mice sera.In macaques,neutralizing antibody(NAb)titers induced by one i.n.dose of rVSV-SARS-CoV-2 were eight-fold higher than those by a single i.m.dose.Thus,our data indicates that rVSV-SARS-CoV-2 might be suitable for i.n.administration instead of the traditional i.m.immunization in human.Because rVSV-SARS-CoV elicited significantly stronger NAb responses than rVSV-SARS-CoV2 in a route-independent manner,we generated a chimeric antigen by replacing the receptor binding domain(RBD)of SARS-CoV S with that from the SARS-CoV-2.rVSV expressing the chimera(rVSV-SARS-CoV/2-RBD)induced significantly increased NAbs against SARS-CoV-2 in mice and macaques than rVSV-SARS-CoV-2,with a safe Th1-biased response.Serum immunized with rVSV-SARS-CoV/2-RBD showed no cross-reactivity with SARS-CoV.hACE2 mice receiving a single i.m.dose of either rVSV-SARS-CoV-2 or rVSV-SARSCoV/2-RBD were fully protected against SARS-CoV-2 challenge without obvious lesions in the lungs.Our results suggest that transplantation of SARS-CoV-2 RBD into the S protein of SARS-CoV might be a promising antigen design for COVID-19 vaccines.Hongyue Li Yuhang Zhang Dong Li Yong-Qiang Deng Hongde Xu Chaoyue Zhao Jiandong Liu Dan Wen Jianguo Zhao Yongchun Li Yong Wu Shujun Liu Jiankai Liu Junfeng Hao Fei Yuan Shuguang Duo Cheng-Feng Qin Aihua Zheng 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,12:1
15A new approach to the prediction of transmembrane structures显示文摘About 20%-30% of genome products have been predicted as membrane proteins, which have sig-nificant biological functions. The prediction of the amount and position for the transmembrane protein helical segments (TMHs) is the hot spot in bioinformatics. In this paper, a new approach, maximum spectrum of continuous wavelet transform (MSCWT), is proposed to predict TMHs. The predictions for eight SARS-CoV membrane proteins indicate that MSCWT has the same capacity with software TMpred. 19Voltammetry and fluorescence studies on the interaction between Eu(phen)_3^(+3)and DNA显示文摘The binding mode of Eu(phen) 33+ with DNA is studied by fluorescence and voltammetric methods. From theScatchard graph and the fluorescence quenching phenomenon, it is concluded that the mode of interaction betweenEu(phen) 33+ and DNA is intercalation bind by inserting the phen π-π conjugate surface between the base pairs of theDNA duplex. Voltammetry was used to confirm the results obtained from the fluorescence method, the result from bothmethods agrees with each other. The binding constant (K) and the binding site size (ns) were calculated from voltammetricdata such as the shifts in potential and limiting currents in the process of adding DNA, according to the positive shifts ofpeak potential. 20Fungal diversity notes 1512–1610: taxonomic and phylogenetic contributions on genera and species of fungal taxa显示文摘This article is the 14th in the Fungal Diversity Notes series,wherein we report 98 taxa distributed in two phyla,seven classes,26 orders and 50 families which are described and illustrated.Taxa in this study were collected from Australia,Brazil,Burkina Faso,Chile,China,Cyprus,Egypt,France,French Guiana,India,Indonesia,Italy,Laos,Mexico,Russia,Sri Lanka,Thailand,and Vietnam.There are 59 new taxa,39 new hosts and new geographical distributions with one new combination.The 59 new species comprise Angustimassarina kunmingense,Asterina lopi,Asterina brigadeirensis,Bartalinia bidenticola,Bartalinia caryotae,Buellia pruinocalcarea,Coltricia
