| 4 | Electrical transport properties of Fe Se single crystal under high magnetic field显示文摘Understanding the normal electronic state is crucial for unveiling the mechanism of unconventional superconductivity(SC). In this paper, by applying a magnetic field of up to 37T on FeSe single crystals, we could reveal the normal-state transport properties after SC was completely suppressed. The normal-state resistivity exhibited a Fermi liquid behavior at low temperatures. Large orbital magnetoresistance(MR) was observed in the nematic state with H//c, whereas MR was negligible with H//ab. The magnitude of the orbital MR showed an unusual reduction, and Kohler’s rule was severely violated below 10-25 K;these were attributable to spin fluctuations. | 10 | Burch colposuspension for stress urinary incontinence: a 14-year prospective follow-up显示文摘We aimed to evaluate the long-term effectiveness and safety of Burch colposuspension(BC) for stress urinary incontinence(SUI). In this prospective cohort study, 84 patients with SUI undergoing BC were enrolled from February 2004 to January 2010.Data on long-term subjective success and postoperative complications were collected at clinic visits and by telephone follow-up.During a mean follow-up period of 14.2 years, 68%(57/84) patients completed the follow-up. A total of 68.4% of patients(39/57) reported absence of SUI symptoms, 73.6%(42/57) were subjectively satisfied according to the Patient Global Impression of Improvement, and 68.4%(39/57) reported subjective success regarding urinary symptoms via the Urinary Distress Inventory Short Form. However, 28.1%(16/57) suffered at least one long-term postoperative complication and incident. Specifically, 1 in25(4.0%) sexually active patients reported dyspareunia, 3 patients(5.3%) had de novo overactive bladder, and 6 patients(10.5%)reported voiding dysfunction. Four patients(7.0%) reported new onset prolapse symptoms, and 3 patients(5.3%) underwent secondary urinary incontinence surgery. Our study indicated that Burch colposuspension is an effective procedure for SUI, and the cure effect was largely maintained for the 14-year follow-up period, with relatively low complication rates. | 15 | Cross-species recognition of bat coronavirus RsYN04 and cross-reaction of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies against the virus显示文摘Following the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),several severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)-related coronaviruses have been discovered.Previous research has identified a novel lineage of SARS-CoV-2-related CoVs in bats,including RsYN04,which recognizes human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2)and thus poses a potential threat to humans.Here,we screened the binding of the RsYN04receptor-binding domain(RBD)to ACE2 orthologs from 52animal species and found that the virus showed a narrower ACE2-binding spectrum than SARS-CoV-2.However,the presence of the T484W mutation in the RsYN04 RBD broadened its range.We also evaluated 44 SARS-CoV-2antibodies targeting seven epitope communities in the SARS-CoV-2 RBD,together with serum obtained from COVID-19 convalescents and vaccinees,to determine their cross-reaction against RsYN04.Results showed that no antibodies,except for the RBD-6 and RBD-7 classes,bound to the RsYN04 RBD,indicating substantial immune differences from SARS-CoV-2.Furthermore,the structure of the RsYN04 RBD in complex with cross-reactive antibody S43 in RBD-7 revealed a potently broad epitope for the development of therapeutics and vaccines.Our findings suggest RsYN04 and other viruses belonging to the same clade have the potential to infect several species,including humans,highlighting the necessity for viral surveillance and development of broad anticoronavirus countermeasures. | Runchu Zhao Sheng Niu Pu Han Yue Gao Dezhi Liu Chunliang Luo Honghui Liu Bo Liu Yanli Xu Jianxun Qi Zhihai Chen Weifeng Shi Lili Wu George F.Gao Qihui Wang | 2023 | Zoological Research2023,44,6: | 0 |
