1On developing data-driven turbulence model for DG solution of RANS显示文摘High-order Discontinuous Galerkin(DG) methods have been receiving more and more attentions in the area of Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) because of their high-accuracy property. However, it is still a challenge to obtain converged solution rapidly when solving the Reynolds Averaged Navier–Stokes(RANS) equations since the turbulence models significantly increase the nonlinearity of discretization system. The overall goal of this research is to develop an Artificial Neural Networks(ANNs) model with low complexity acting as an algebraic turbulence model to estimate the turbulence eddy viscosity for RANS. The ANN turbulence model is off-line trained using the training data generated by the widely used Spalart–Allmaras(SA) turbulence model before the Optimal Brain Surgeon(OBS) is employed to determine the relevancy of input features.Using the selected relevant features, a fully connected ANN model is constructed. The performance of the developed ANN model is numerically tested in the framework of DG for RANS, where the‘‘DG+ANN' method provides robust and steady convergence compared to the ‘‘DG+SA' method. 2Hotspots and trends of biological water treatment based on bibliometric review and patents analysis显示文摘In order to reveal the hotspots and trends of biological water treatment from the perspectives of scientific and technological innovation, both of the bibliometric review and patents analysis were performed in this study. The Web of Science Core Collection database and Derwent Innovation Index database recorded 30023 SCI papers and 50326 patents, respectively were analyzed via information visualization technology. The results showed that China ranked the first in both papers and patents, while the United States and Japan had advantages in papers and patents, respectively. It was concluded through literature metrology analysis that microbial population characteristics, biodegradation mechanism,toxicity analysis, nitrogen and phosphorus removal and biological treatment of micropolluted wastewater were the research hotspots of SCI papers. Activated sludge process and anaerobic-aerobic combined process were the two mainstream technologies on the basis of patent technology classification analysis. Technology evolution path of biological water treatment was also elucidated in three stages based on the citation network analysis. 6High‑Performance Flexible Microneedle Array as a Low‑Impedance Surface Biopotential Dry Electrode for Wearable Electrophysiological Recording and Polysomnography显示文摘Microneedle array(MNA)electrodes are an effective solution to achieve high-quality surface biopotential recording without the coordination of conductive gel and are thus very suitable for long-term wearable applications.Existing schemes are limited by flexibility,biosafety,and manufacturing costs,which create large barriers for wider applications.Here,we present a novel flexible MNA electrode that can simultaneously achieve flexibility of the substrate to fit a curved body surface,robustness of microneedles to penetrate the skin without fracture,and a simplified process to allow mass production.The compatibility with wearable wireless systems and the short preparation time of the electrodes significantly improves the comfort and convenience of electrophysiological recording.The normalized electrode–skin contact impedance reaches 0.98 kΩcm^(2)at 1 kHz and 1.50 kΩcm^(2)at 10 Hz,a record low value compared to previous reports and approximately 1/250 of the standard electrodes.The morphology,biosafety,and electrical/mechanical properties are fully characterized,and wearable recordings with a high signal-to-noise ratio and low motion artifacts are realized.The first reported clinical study of microneedle electrodes for surface electrophysiological monitoring was conducted in tens of healthy and sleep-disordered subjects with 44 nights of recording(over 8 h per night),providing substantial evidence that the electrodes can be leveraged to substitute for clinical standard electrodes.Junshi Li Yundong Ma Dong Huang Zhongyan Wang Zhitong Zhang Yingjie Ren Mengyue Hong Yufeng Chen Tingyu Li Xiaoyi Shi Lu Cao Jiayan Zhang Bingli Jiao Junhua Liu Hongqiang Sun Zhihong Li 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,8:1

9Logging-while-drilling formation dip interpretation based on long short-term memory显示文摘Azimuth gamma logging while drilling(LWD)is one of the important technologies of geosteering but the information of real-time data transmission is limited and the interpretation is difficult.This study proposes a method of applying artificial intelligence in the LWD data interpretation to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of real-time data processing.By examining formation response characteristics of azimuth gamma ray(GR)curve,the preliminary formation change position is detected based on wavelet transform modulus maxima(WTMM)method,then the dynamic threshold is determined,and a set of contour points describing the formation boundary is obtained.The classification recognition model based on the long short-term memory(LSTM)is designed to judge the true or false of stratum information described by the contour point set to enhance the accuracy of formation identification.Finally,relative dip angle is calculated by nonlinear least square method.Interpretation of azimuth gamma data and application of real-time data processing while drilling show that the method proposed can effectively and accurately determine the formation changes,improve the accuracy of formation dip interpretation,and meet the needs of real-time LWD geosteering.SUN Qifeng LI Na DUAN Youxiang LI Hongqiang TANG Haiquan 2021Petroleum Exploration and Development2021,48,4:1

12A Straightforward hp-Adaptivity Strategy for Shock-Capturing with High-Order Discontinuous Galerkin Methods显示文摘In this paper,high-order Discontinuous Galerkin(DG)method is used to solve the two-dimensional Euler equations.A shock-capturing method based on the artificial viscosity technique is employed to handle physical discontinuities.Numerical tests show that the shocks can be captured within one element even on very coarse grids.The thickness of the shocks is dominated by the local mesh size and the local order of the basis functions.In order to obtain better shock resolution,a straightforward hp-adaptivity strategy is introduced,which is based on the high-order contribution calculated using hierarchical basis.Numerical results indicate that the hp-adaptivity method is easy to implement and better shock resolution can be obtained with smaller local mesh size and higher local order.Hongqiang Lu Qiang Sun 2014Advances in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics2014,6,1:1
13A High-OrderDiscontinuous GalerkinMethod for the Two-Dimensional Time-Domain Maxwell’s Equations on Curved Mesh显示文摘In this paper,a DG(Discontinuous Galerkin)method which has been widely employed in CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics)is used to solve the twodimensional time-domain Maxwell’s equations for complex geometries on unstructured mesh.The element interfaces on solid boundary are treated in both curved way and straight way.Numerical tests are performed for both benchmark problems and complex cases with varying orders on a series of grids,where the high-order convergence in accuracy can be observed.Both the curved and the straight solid boundary implementation can give accurate RCS(Radar Cross-Section)results with sufficiently small mesh size,but the curved solid boundary implementation can significantly improve the accuracy when using relatively large mesh size.More importantly,this CFD-based high-order DG method for the Maxwell’s equations is very suitable for complex geometries.Hongqiang Lu Yida Xu Yukun Gao Wanglong Qin Qiang Sun 2016Advances in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics2016,8,1:1

15Supramolecular nanoparticles constructed by orthogonal assembly of pillar[5]arene-cyclodextrin dimacrocycle for chemo-photodynamic combination therapy显示文摘Chemotherapy combined with photodynamic therapy has emerged as a promising strategy for cancer treatment.However,simultaneously delivering chemotherapeutic drugs and photosensitizers and precisely adjusting the ratio of the two components as needed remains a challengeable task.Herein,novel supramolecular nanoparticles(donated as BODIPY-CPT-NPs)for chemo-photodynamic combination cancer therapy are constructed from a glutathione-responsive camptothecin-based prodrug,BODIPY photosensitizer,and dimacrocyclic host molecule through orthogonal host-guest recognitions and co-assembly.With this strategy,the ratio of prodrugs and photosensitizers in nanoparticles can be easily and precisely controlled as needed.Benefiting from the strong host-guest interactions and stable self-assembly,the nanoparticles exhibit excellent stability and photobleaching resistance.Furthermore,camptothecin can be released from nanoparticles for chemotherapy in the presence of reduction agent and single oxygen can be efficiently generated for PDT with light irradiation.The combined effects of the BODIPY-CPT-NPs have been verified in CT26 and HeLa cancer cells.Yongfei Yin Penghao Sun Hongqiang Dong Yi Chen Shigui Chen Lu Wang 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,11:0
16Stable operation of polymer electrolyte-solid-state batteries via lonepair electron fillers显示文摘Due to the increasing demand and wide applications of lithium-ion batteries,higher requirements have been placed on the energy density and safety.Polymer solid-state electrolytes have gained significant popularity due to their excellent interface compatibility and safety.However,their applications have been greatly restricted by the high crystallinity at room temperature,which hinders the transport of lithium ions.Herein,we utilize inorganic tubular fillers with abundant lone-pair atoms to reduce the crystallinity of the polyethylene oxide(PEO)solid-state electrolyte membrane and improve its ionic conductivity at room temperature,enabling stable operation of the battery.The tubular lone-pair-rich inorganic fillers play a key role in providing avenues for both internal and external charge transportation.The surface lone-pair electrons facilitate the dissociation and transport of lithium ions,while the internally tubular electron-rich layer attracts ions into the cavities,further enhancing the ion transport.After 100 cycles at room temperature,the lithium battery loaded with this solid-state electrolyte membrane delivers a specific capacity of 141.6 mAh·g−1,which is 51.3%higher compared to the membrane without the fillers.Hongbin Liu Qing Sun Jun Cheng Hongqiang Zhang Xiao Xu Yuanyuan Li Zhen Zeng Yue Zhao Deping Li Jingyu Lu Lijie Ci 2023Nano Research2023,16,11:0
