2Wear characteristics of spheroidal graphite roll WC-8Co coating produced by electro-spark deposition显示文摘Electro-spark deposition(ESD) was adopted for preparing high property coatings by depositing WC-8Co cemented carbide on an spheroidal graphite roll substrate.The microstructure and properties of the coating were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) with energy dispersive X-ray(EDX) and ball-disc configuration wear tester.The results show that nanosized particles and amorphous structures prevail in the coating which is metallurgically bonded to the substrate.The microstructures of the transition zone include columnar structure and equiaxed structure.The primary phases of the coating contain W2C, W6C2.54, Fe3W3C, and Co3W3C.The results of abrasive test show that the coating has low friction coefficients(μaverage = 0.18) and the wear mechanisms are mainly abrasive wear, fatigue wear, and oxidation wear.The maximum microhardness value of the coating is about 17410 N/mm2.The study reveals that the electro-spark deposition process has better coating quality and the coating has high wear resistance and hardness.WANG Jiansheng, MENG Huimin, YU Hongying, FAN Zishuan, and SUN Dongbai School of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing 100083, China 2010Rare Metals2010,29,2:21
3Comparison of the short-term and long-term outcomes of laparoscopic hysterectomies and of abdominal hysterectomies: a case study of 4,895 patients in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China显示文摘Background: To evaluate the short-term and long-term outcomes after laparoscopic hysterectomy(LH) compared with abdominal hysterectomy(AH) in case of benign gynecological disease. Methods: A multi-center cohort retrospective comparative study of population among 4,895 hysterectomies(3,539 LH vs.1,356 AH) between 2007 and 2013 was involved. Operative time(OT), estimated blood loss(EBL), intra-operative and post-operative complications, passing flatus; days with indwelling catheter, questionnaires covering pelvic floor functions and sexual functions were assessed.Results: The EBL(174.1±157.4 vs. 263.1±183.2 cc, LH and AH groups, respectively), passing flatus(38.7±14.1 vs. 48.1±13.2 hours), days with indwelling catheter(1.5±0.6 vs. 2.2±0.8 days), use of analgesics(6.5% vs. 73.1%), intra-operative complication rate(2.4% vs. 4.1%), post-operative complication rate(2.3% vs. 5.7%), post-operative constipation(12.1% vs. 24.6%), mild and serious stress urinary incontinence(SUI) post-operative(P<0.001; P=0.014), and proportion of Female Sexual Functioning Index(FSFI) total score <26.55 post-operative(P<0.001) of the LH group were significantly less than those of AH group. There wereno significant differences in OT(106.5±34.5 vs. 106.2±40.3 min) between the two groups.Conclusions: LH is a safe and efficient operation for improving patients' long-term quality of life(Qo L), and LH is a cost-effectiveness procedure for treating benign gynecological disease. 5Microlens Light Field Imaging Method Based on Bionic Vision and 3-3 Dimensional Information Transforming显示文摘his paper adopts the 3-3-2 information processing method for the capture of moving objects as its premise, and proposes a basic principle of three-dimensional (3D) imaging using biological compound eye. Traditional bionic vision is limited by the available hardware. Therefore, in this paper, the new-generation technology of microlens-array light-field camera is proposed as a potential method for the extraction of depth information from a single image. A significant characteristic of light-field imaging is that it records intensity and directional information from the lights entering the camera. Herein, a refocusing method using light-field image is proposed. By calculating the focusing cost at different depths from the object, the imaging plane of the object is determined, and a depth map is constructed based on the position of the object’s imaging plane. Compared with traditional light-field depth estimation, the depth map calculated by this method can significantly improve resolution and does not depend on the number of light-field microlenses. In addition, considering that software algorithms rely on hardware structure, this study develops an imaging hardware that is only 7 cm long based on the second-generation microlens camera’s structure, further validating its important refocusing characteristics. 6Recent advances and trends of heterogeneous electro-Fenton process for wastewater treatment-review显示文摘Electrochemical advanced oxidation processes (EAOPs) are effective and environmentally friendly for the treatment of refractory organic pollutants.Among EAOPs,heterogeneous electro-Fenton (EF) process with in-situ formation of hydrogen peroxide (H_(2)O_(2)) is an eco-friendly,cost-effective and easy-operable technology to generate hydroxyl radicals (;OH) with high redox potential.The generation of;OH is determined by the synergistic H_(2)O_(2)formation and activation.The surface catalytic mechanisms for H_(2)O_(2)activation in the heterogeneous EF process were discussed.Some required features such as heteroatom doping and oxygen groups for H_(2)O_(2)formation via selective two-electron oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) with carbonaceous electrode are summarized.The solid Fenton catalysts and integrated functional cathodes that widely used in heterogeneous EF for wastewater treatment are grouped into few classes.And the brief discussion on catalytic activity and stability of materials over different experimental conditions are given.In addition,the application of heterogeneous EF process on the remediation of emerging contaminants is provided.The challenges and future prospects of the heterogeneous EF processes about catalytic fall-off and multi-step/complex techniques for water purification are emphasized.Zining Wang Mingyue Liu Fan Xiao Georgeta Postole Hongying Zhao Guohua Zhao 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,2:4
7Spotted Sea Bass(Lateolabrax maculatus) cftr, nkcc1a, nkcc1b and nkcc2: Genome-Wide Identification, Characterization and Expression Analysis Under Salinity Stress显示文摘The Na^+/K^+/2Cl^-cotransporter(NKCC)and the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator(CFTR)proteins play crucial roles in the transportation of Na^+and Cl^-.In this study,we identified cftr,nkcc1 a,nkcc1 b and nkcc2 in spotted sea bass(Lateolabrax maculatus)genomic and transcriptomic databases.We also characterized these genes via phylogenetic and structural analyses.The results showed that both cftr and nkcc were highly conservative in L.maculatus.Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)analysis in ten tissues showed that cftr,nkcc1 a and nkcc2 highly express in osmoregulatory organs such as gill,kidney and intestine.Furthermore,the expressions of cftr and nkcc1 a in gill as well as nkcc2 in intestine were up-regulated by high salinity,indicating that these genes function potentially in osmoregulation.Our findings provided the insights into the cftr and nkcc functions in euryhaline teleost.ZHANG Kaiqiang ZHANG Xiaoyan WEN Haishen QI Xin FAN Hongying TIAN Yuan LIU Yang LI Yun 2019Journal of Ocean University of China2019,18,6:2
8Molybdenum based amorphous and nanocrystalline coatings prepared by high velocity oxy-fuel spraying显示文摘The high velocity oxy-fuel(HVOF) based thermal spray process has developed as a potential advantageous approach for fabricating various kinds of functional coatings.In this article,the coatings of Mo-based alloy were synthesized using the HVOF process.The microstructure and the mechanical properties of the HVOF-processed coatings were investigated using SEM,TEM,XRD,and hardness and wear tests.Annealing treatment was applied to the as-sprayed coatings to develop the microstructure and its effect on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the coatings was examined.It is found that the HVOF-processed Mo-based alloy coatings are comprised of an amorphous splat matrix embedded with nano-sized crystalline particles.Annealing at temperatures over 950 ℃ results into crystallization of the amorphous matrix.The mechanical properties of the as-sprayed coatings are enhanced with annealing temperature up to 750 ℃ and from 950 to 1050 ℃,keeps constant between 750 and 950 ℃,and reduce over 1050 ℃.The change of the mechanical property with the microstructure was illustrated in the study.Fan, Zishuan Yu, Hongying Wang, Xudong 2012Rare Metals2012,31,4:2

14Identification,expression analysis,and functional characterization of ghrelin and its receptors in spotted sea bass(Lateolabrax maculatus)显示文摘Ghrelin(Ghrl),an appetite-inducing peptide hormone secreted by the stomach,is the endogenous ligand for the growth hormone secretagogue receptor(Ghs-r).In this study,we identified the preproghrelin gene and its receptors in spotted sea bass(Lateolabrax maculatus).The ghrl gene consisted of an open reading frame(ORF)of 324 nucleotides encoding 107 amino acids,and the premature protein contained a 20-amino-acid mature peptide.Through a syntenic analysis,we also validated the annotation of growth hormone secretagogue receptor la(ghs-rla)and growth hormone secretagogue receptor la-1ike(ghs-rla-like),which contained seven-transmembrane structures,in spotted sea bass.The ORF of ghs-rla consisted of 1152 bp that encoded a 383-amino-acid protein,and(ghs-rla-like) contained an ORF of 2631 bp and produced a protein with 876 amino acids.A phylogenetic analysis showed that spotted sea bass ghrl and its receptors clustered with those of other fishes and were more distantly related to those of other vertebrates.In situ hybridization revealed that ghrl was highly expressed in the stomach and localized in the mucosa and submucosa.The expression of these genes varied during short-term starvation in a time-dependent manner.In vitro studies showed that after incubation with Ghrl for 3 h enhanced the expression of motilin(mln),gastrin(gas)and cholecystokinin(cck)、but this effect vanished after 6 h of incubation.In summary,Ghrl and its receptors might play important roles in the regulation of food intake in spotted sea bass.Peng Yu Yangyang Zhou Xin Qi Hongying Fan Kaiqiang Zhang Xiaoyan Zhang Yun Li Haishen Wen 2020Marine Life Science & Technology2020,2,4:1

17Effect of simulated gastrointestinal digestion on antioxidant,and anti-inflammatory activities of bioactive peptides generated in sausages fermented with Staphylococcus simulans QB7显示文摘Dry-fermented sausages are a good source of bioactive peptides,whose stability against gastrointestinal(GI)digestion determines their bioaccessibility.This study focused on evaluating the effect of peptide extracts from sausages fermented with Staphylococcus simulans QB7 during in vitro simulated GI digestion,including peptide profiles and antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities.Peptides present in sausages were degraded during digestion,with molecular weight reduced from>12 kDa to<1.5 kDa.Besides,the content of amino acids increased from 381.15 to 527.07 mg/g,especially tyrosine being found only after GI digestion.The anti-inflammatory activities were increased after GI digestion,however,the changes in antioxidant activities were the opposite.A total number of 255,252 and 386 peptide sequences were identified in undigested,peptic-digested and GI-digested samples,respectively.PeptideRanker,BIOPEP-UWM and admetSAR were used to further predict the functional properties and intestinal absorption of the identified peptide sequences from GI digestion.Finally,18 peptides were discovered to possess either antioxidant or anti-inflammatory capacities.Hongying Li Hongbing Fan Zihan Wang Qiujin Zhu Jianping Wu 2024Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,3:0
18A gel microparticle-based self-thickening strategy for 3D printing high-modulus hydrogels skeleton cushioned with PNAGA hydrogel mimicking anisotropic mechanics of meniscus显示文摘Developing a meniscus substitute mimicking the anisotropic mechanics(higher circumferential tensile modulus and lower compressive modulus)of native tissue remains a great challenge.In this work,based on the pendant group structure-dependent H-bonding strengthening mechanism,two kinds of amide-based H-bonding crosslinked hydrogels with distinct mechanical behaviors,that is,the flexible poly(N-acryloyl glycinamide)(PNAGA)and the ultra-stiff poly(N-acryloylsemicarbazide)(PNASC)hydrogels are employed to construct the biomimetic meniscus substitute.To this end,a gel microparticle-based self-thickening strategy is first proposed to fabricate PNASC(GMP-PNASC)high-modulus hydrogels skeleton by extrusion printing technology in mimicking the collagen fibers in native meniscus to resist the circumferential tensile stress.Then,the PNAGA hydrogel is infused into the PNASC skeleton to replicate the proteoglycan,providing a lower compressive modulus.By regulating the structural features at the interior and peripheral regions,the GMP-PNASC/PNAGA hydrogel meniscus scaffold with the higher tensile modulus(87.28±6.06 MPa)and lower compressive modulus(2.11±0.28 MPa)can be constructed.In vivo outcome at 12 weeks post-implantation of rabbit’s medial meniscectomy model confirms the effects of GMP-PNASC/PNAGA meniscus scaffold on alleviating the wear of articular cartilage and ameliorating the development of osteoarthritis(OA).Ziyang Xu Qian Zhang Chuanchuan Fan Meng Xiao Rong Yang Yuan Yao Yang Wu Xiongfeng Nie Hongying Wang Wenguang Liu 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,8:0
19Numerical study of laser-induced collision process in Eu-Sr in strong field显示文摘Theoretically based on the four-level model, one LICET process in Eu-Sr system in both weak and strong fields was calculated by immediate numerical integrations. Numerical results in weak field are in fair to good agreement with analytical ones. 20Creation and erasure of polar bubble domains in PbTiO_(3)films by mechanical stress and light illuminations显示文摘The controllable manipulation of polar topological structures(e.g.skyrmion bubble)in ferroelectric materials have been considered as a cornerstone for future programmable nano-electronics.Here,we present the effective creation and erasure of polar bubble states PbTiO_(3)(PTO)multilayers trigged by mechanical stress and light illumination,respectively.It was found that applying atomic force microscope(AFM)tip force can induced formation of nanoscale bubble domains from the initial monodomain state.Moreover,the created bubble domain can be eliminated by exposure to ultraviolet or infrared light illumination.The above results can be understood by modulation of depolarization screening charges and bias fields,as reflected by scanning Kelvin potential microscopic(SKPM)observations,whereby the flexoelectric effect from the tip force tends to remove the screening charges on top surface and modulate the bias field that favors the formation of bubble state while light illumination tends to recover the screen charges and favor the monodomain state.The results provide a good example for multi-field manipulation of polar topologies,which might create a new avenue towards the immerging new concept electronic devices.Xingchen Zhang Hongying Chen Guo Tian Wenda Yang Zhen Fan Zhipeng Hou Deyang Chen Min Zeng Minghui Qin Jinwei Gao Xingsen Gao Jun-Ming Liu 2023Journal of Materiomics2023,9,4:0
