1Study on the HPHT synthetic diamond crystal from Fe-C(H) system and its significance显示文摘Investigations of crystal habit, micro-topographic imaging, micro-composition and micro-structural analysis of HPHT synthetic diamonds from the Fe-C(H) system indicate that most of them have an oc-tahedral habit. The crystals grow mainly layer-to-layer from center to periphery. HPHT synthetic dia-mond is smaller in size than natural diamond because it only goes through nucleation and growth in the early stage. In the middle and late stages, due to the coalescence of diamond grains related to dif-ferences of surface energy, the growth of HPHT synthetic diamond is limited. The active energy (E) of transforming single nitrogen into a nitrogen-pair is lowered and the time of transforming single nitro-gen into a nitrogen-pair is shortened because of the existence of hydrogen. Therefore, aggregate ni-trogen (A-centers) may exist in synthetic diamond from HPHT and explosive detonation processes. It needs further discussion on a worldwide view that the time of natural diamond formation extracted from nitrogen aggregation is some hundred million years. Consideration of the way in which surface energy influences the growth of diamond can help to understand some of the remaining issues (e.g. growth mechanism, etc.) in the HPHT synthetic process and effectively explain the formation of natural diamond in terms of HPHT thermodynamic theory. 2STUDY ON THE OVERALL PRESSURE BALANCE OF A DOWNFLOW CIRCULATING FLUIDIZED BED SYSTEM显示文摘A pressure balance model for a circulating fluidized bed unit that incorporates a downer has been pro- posed. The model predictions were validated with the experimental data obtained from a special cold-model circulating fluidized bed. Comparison of the operation stability between a CFB downer and a CFB riser has been carried out. Only one critical gas velocity exists in the CFB-riser for a given riser solids flux, while there can be many critical gas velocities for the operation of a CFB downer. 3Severe drought strongly reduces water use and its recovery ability of mature Mongolian Scots pine(Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica Litv.) in a semi-arid sandy environment of northern China显示文摘Trees growing in a semi-arid sandy environment are often exposed to drought conditions due to seasonal variations in precipitation, low soil water retention and deep groundwater level.However, adaptability and plasticity of individuals to the changing drought conditions greatly vary among tree species.In this study, we estimated water use(Ts) of Mongolian Scots pine(MSP;Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica Litv.) based on sap flux density measurements over four successive years(2013–2016) that exhibited significant fluctuations in precipitation in a semi-arid sandy environment of northern China.The results showed that fluctuations in daily Ts synchronously varied with dry-wet cycles of soil moisture over the study period.The daily ratio of water use to reference evapotranspiration(Ts/ET0) on sunny days in each year showed a negative linear relationship with the severity of drought in the upper soil layer(0–1 m;P<0.01).The decrease in Ts induced by erratic drought during the growing season recovered due to precipitation.However, this recovery ability failed under prolonged and severe droughts.The Ts/ET0 ratio significantly declined with the progressive reduction in the groundwater level(gw) over the study period(P<0.01).We concluded that the upper soil layer contributed the most to the Ts of MSP during the growing season.The severity and duration of droughts in this layer greatly reduced Ts.Nevertheless, gw determined whether the Ts could completely recover after the alleviation of long-term soil drought.These results provide practical information for optimizing MSP management to stop ongoing degradation in the semi-arid sandy environments.DANG Hongzhong ZHANG Lizhen YANG Wenbin FENG Jinchao HAN Hui CHEN Yiben 2019Journal of Arid Land2019,11,6:4
4A preference-based multi-objective building performance optimization method for early design stage显示文摘A large number of cases show that the multi-objective optimization method can significantly improve building performance.The method for multi-objective building performance optimization(BPO)design has achieved rapid development in recent years.However,the BPO method still needs to be improved.Specifically,weak interaction between the optimization process and the decision-making process results in low optimization efficiency,which limits the widespread application of the optimization method in early design stage.In this paper,a new interactive BPO mode is explored to strengthen the interaction between the optimization process and decisionmaking process,and a preference-based multi-objective BPO method is proposed to account for designers'decision preferences during the optimization process,making the objective more controllable,improving the optimization efficiency and ensuring the diversity of solutions.Firstly,this paper illustrates the proposed method in detail,defines the concept of performance preference,expounds the flow of the preference-based multi-objective optimization algorithm,and proposes three indicators to evaluate the algorithm,which includes convergence speed,preference satisfaction rate,and diversity measurement.Secondly,through testing and comparison,it is found that the proposed preference-based algorithm has advantages over the non-preference optimization algorithm(represented by the NSGA-II algorithm).The proposed method leads to faster convergence and higher preference satisfaction,so it is more suitable for the BPO process in the early design stage.Specially,the proposed method can achieve 100%preference satisfaction rate with only 2400 simulations,while the non-preference method can only achieve 20%preference satisfaction rate after 5800 simulations.In this paper,a preference-based multi-objective BPO method is proposed to make the optimization process closely interact with the decision-making process and make the design preferences be accounted during the BPO process,thereby improving the optimization efficiency.In addition,this study first proposes two indicators to measure the quality of optimization results:preference satisfaction rate and diversity measurement.This study aims to guide the development of BPO methods towards providing high satisfaction rate and high quality optimization results.Borong Lin Hongzhong Chen Yanchen Liu Qiushi He Ziwei Li 2021Building Simulation2021,14,3:3

8Monitoring of Land-Cover Dynamic Change in Lancangjiang River Cascaded Hydropower Area显示文摘The analysis of the 3 stages’ (1988,1996,2000) variation of land-cover is performed according to Thematic Mapper (TM) and Enhancement Thematic Mapper(ETM) satellite image by combining ground GIS database with GPS field collected data in the area of Xiaowan-Dachaoshan Reservoirs of Lancangjiang River cascaded Hydropower Area. Consequently, the land-cover is divided into five subclasses, namely water, paddy field and wetland, bare dryland and sparse shrub, secondary forest and density forest. The result showed that the areas of bare land, upland and secondary forest decreased in 1988-1996, whereas from 1996 to 2000, water body and density forest keep invariability while the areas of paddy field and wetland, bare dryland and sparse scrub increasing and the area of secondary forest decrease; Features of reciprocal transformation between density forest and other type of land-cover had two points, i.e. secondary forest, bare dryland and sparse shrub converted to density forest; and density forest converted to secondary forest and paddy field and wetland. 11PD98059对肝癌HepG2细胞Tec信号转导作用的初步研究(英文)显示文摘Objective: To investigate the effect of MEK1 inhibitor PD98058 on Tec and ERK2 in HepG2 hepatoma cells. Methods: The expression of mRNA and protein of Tec and ERK2 in HepG2 cells was detected by immunocytochemistry as- say. After various concentration of PD98059 treatment, the expression of Tec and ERK2 mRNA in HepG2 cells was detected by RT-PCR and Western blotting. Results: Tec and ERK2 expressed highly in HepG2 cells. PD98059 obviously inhibited the expression of mRNA and protein of Tec and ERK2 in a dose-dependent manner, in which 40 μmol/L of PD98059 exhibited the strongest inhibiting effect. Conclusion: PD98058, as MEK1 inhibitor, can inhibit Tec, block the signal route of Ras/Raf/ERK and to impede the signal transduction in HepG2 cells. 14Polymeric microneedle-mediated sustained release systems: Design strategies and promising applications for drug delivery显示文摘Parenteral sustained release drug formulations, acting as preferable platforms for longterm exposure therapy, have been wildly used in clinical practice. However, most of these delivery systems must be given by hypodermic injection. Therefore, issues including needle-phobic, needle-stick injuries and inappropriate reuse of needles would hamper the further applications of these delivery platforms. Microneedles (MNs) as a potential alternative system for hypodermic needles can benefit from minimally invasive and self-administration. Recently, polymeric microneedle-mediated sustained release systems (MN@SRS) have opened up a new way for treatment of many diseases. Here, we reviewed the recent researches in MN@SRS for transdermal delivery, and summed up its typical design strategies and applications in various diseases therapy, particularly focusing on the applications in contraception, infection, cancer, diabetes, and subcutaneous disease. 16Static aeroelasticity of the propulsion system of ion propulsion unmanned aerial vehicles显示文摘“Ionic wind”generators are used as the main propulsion system in ion propulsion unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs).Owing to the large size and poor stiffness of the electrode array in the propulsion system,the electrode array is prone to deformation under the flight load.In this work,the thrust characteristics and static aeroelastic properties of“ionic wind”propulsion systems were analyzed in detail.The simulation model for an“ionic wind”propulsion system was established by coupling a two-dimensional gas discharge model with a gas dynamics model.The influences of electrode voltage,spacing,size,and shape on the performance of the propulsion system were investigated.The fluid-solid interaction method was used to solve static aeroelastic characteristics under deformation.The aerodynamic and thrust performances of the elastic state and the rigid state were compared.It was found that the operating voltage,the distance between two electrodes,and the emitter radius had greater impacts on the thrust of the propulsion system.The propulsion system had a small contribution to the lift but a large contribution to the drag.In the elastic state,the lift coefficient accounted for 12.2%,and the drag coefficient accounted for 25.8%.Under the action of the downwash airflow from the wing,the propulsion system formed an upward moment around the center of mass,which contributed greatly to the pitching moment derivative of the whole aircraft.In the elastic state,the pitching moment derivative accounted for 29.7%.After elastic deformation,the thrust action point moved upward by 28.7 mm.Hence,the no lift pitching moment is reduced by 0.104 N$m,and the pitching moment coefficient is reduced by 0.014,causing a great impact on the longitudinal trimming of the whole aircraft.Shuai Hao Tielin Ma She Chen Hongzhong Ma Jinwu Xiang Fangxiang Ouyang 2023Propulsion and Power Research2023,12,3:0
17Polyphenol-based hydrogels: Pyramid evolution from crosslinked structures to biomedical applications and the reverse design显示文摘As a kind of nature-derived bioactive materials, polyphenol-based hydrogels possess many unique and outstanding properties such as adhesion, toughness, and self-healing due to their specific crosslinking structures, which have been widely used in biomedical fields including wound healing, antitumor, treatment of motor system injury, digestive system disease, oculopathy, and bioelectronics. In this review, starting with the classi-fication of common polyphenol-based hydrogels, the pyramid evolution process of polyphenol-based hydrogels from crosslinking structures to derived properties and then to biomedical applications is elaborated, as well as the efficient reverse design considerations of polyphenol-based hydrogel systems are proposed. Finally, the existing problems and development prospects of these hydrogel materials are discussed. 19An Intelligent IEQ Monitoring and Feedback System:Development and Applications显示文摘Indoor environmental quality(IEQ)significantly affects human health and wellbeing.Therefore,continuous IEQ monitoring and feedback is of great concern in both the industrial and academic communities.However,most existing studies only focus on developing sensors that cost-effectively promote IEQ measurement while ignoring interactions between the human side and IEQ monitoring.In this study,an intelligent IEQ monitoring and feedback system-the Intelligent Built Enviroment(IBEM)-is developed.Firstly,the IBEM hardware instrument integrates air temperature,relative humidity,CO_(2),particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter no greater than _(2.5)μm(PM_(2.5)),and illuminance sensors within a small device.The accuracy of this integrated device was tested through a co-location experiment with reference sensors;the device exhibited a strong correlation with the reference sensors,with a slight deviation(R^(2)>0.97 and slopes between 1.01 and 1.05).Secondly,a wireless data transmission module,a cloud storage module,and graphical user interfaces(i.e.,a web platform and mobile interface)were built to establish a pathway for dataflow and interactive feedback with the occupants of the indoor environments.Thus,the IEQ parameters can be continuously monitored with a high spatiotemporal resolution,interactive feedback can be induced,and synchronous data collection on occupant satisfaction and objective environmental parameters can be realized.IBEM has been widely applied in 131 buildings in 18cities/areas in China,with 1188 sample locations.Among these applications,we report on the targeted IEQ diagnoses of two individual buildings and the exploration of relationships between subjective and objective IEQ data in detail here.This work demonstrates the great value of IBEM in both industrial and academic research.Yang Geng Zhongchen Zhang Juan Yu Hongzhong Chen Hao Zhou Borong Lin Weimin Zhuang 2022Engineering2022,,11:0
