| 4 | Reuse of Fenton sludge as an iron source for NiFe_2O_4 synthesis and its application in the Fenton-based process显示文摘The potentially hazardous iron-containing sludge from the Fenton process requires proper treatment and disposal, which often results in high treatment cost. In this study, a novel method for the reuse of Fenton sludge as an iron source for the synthesis of nickel ferrite particles(NiFe_2O_4) is proposed. Through a co-precipitation method followed by sintering at 800°C, magnetic NiFe_2O_4 particles were successfully synthesized, which was confirmed by powder X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electronic microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and Raman spectroscopy. The synthesized NiFe_2O_4 could be used as an efficient catalyst in the heterogeneous Fenton process. In phenol degradation with H_2O_2 or NiFe_2O_4 alone, the phenol removal efficiencies within the reaction time of 330 min were as low as 5.9% ± 0.1% and 13.5% ±0.4%, respectively. However, in the presence of both NiFe_2O_4 and H_2O_2, phenol removal efficiency as high as 95% ± 3.4% could be achieved, indicating the excellent catalytic performance of NiFe_2O_4 in the heterogeneous Fenton process. Notably, a rapid electron exchange between_Ni II and_Fe III ions in the NiFe_2O_4 structure could be beneficial for the Fenton reaction. | 5 | Microstructural evolution and growth kinetics of thermally grown oxides in plasma sprayed thermal barrier coatings显示文摘The formation of thermally grown oxide(TGO) during high temperature is a key factor to the degradation of thermal barrier coatings(TBCs)applied on hot section components. In the present study both the Co Ni Cr Al Y bond coat and Zr O_2-8 wt.% Y_2O_3(8YSZ) ceramic coat of TBCs were prepared by air plasma spraying(APS). The composition and microstructure of TGO in TBCs were investigated using scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis. The growth rate of TGO for TBC and pure BC were gained after isothermal oxidation at 1100 °C for various times. The results showed that as-sprayed bond coat consisted of β and γ/γ'phases,β phase reducesd as the oxidation time increased. The TGO comprised α-Al_2O_3 formed in the first 2 h. Co O, Ni O, Cr_2O_3 and spinel oxides appeared after 20 h of oxidation. Contents of Co O and Ni O reduced while that of Cr_2O_3 and spinel oxides increased in the later oxidation stage.The TGO eventually consisted of a sub-Al2O3 layer with columnar microstructure and the upper porous CS clusters. | 8 | Interpretation of the west segment of the coastal fault zone in the coastal region of South China based on the gravity data显示文摘By systemic processing, comprehensive analysis, and interpretation of gravity data, we confirmed the existence of the west segment of the coastal fault zone(west of Yangjiang to Beibu Bay) in the coastal region of South China. This showed an apparent high gravity gradient in the NEE direction, and worse linearity and less compactness than that in the Pearl River month. This also revealed a relatively large curvature and a complicated gravity structure. In the finding images processed by the gravity data system, each fault was well reflected and primarily characterized by isolines or thick black stripes with a cutting depth greater than 30 km. Though mutually cut by NW-trending and NE-trending faults, the apparent NEE stripe-shaped structure of the west segment of the coastal fault zone remained unchanged,with good continuity and an activity strength higher than that of NW and NE-trending faults. | 9 | Development of a widely targeted volatilomics method for profiling volatilomes in plants显示文摘Volatile organic compounds play essential roles in plant environment interactions as well as determining the fragrance of plants.Although gas chromatography-mass spectrometry-based untargeted metabolo-mics is commonly used to assess plant volatiles,it suffers from high spectral convolution,low detection sensitivity,a limited number of annotated metabolites,and relatively poor reproducibility.Here,we report a widely targeted volatilomics(WTV)method that involves using a“targeted spectra extraction”algorithm to address spectral convolution,constructing a high-coverage MS2 spectral tag library to expand volatile annotation,adapting a multiple reaction monitoring mode to improve sensitivity,and using regression models to adjust for signal drift.The newly developed method was used to profile the volatilome of rice grains.Compared with the untargeted method,the newly developed WTV method shows higher sensitivity(for example,the signal-to-noise ratio of guaicol increased from 4.1 to 18.8),high annotation coverage(the number of annotated volatiles increased from 43 to 132),and better reproducibility(the number of volatiles in quality control samples with relative standard deviation value below 30.0%increased from 14 to 92 after normalization).Using the WTV method,we studied the metabolic responses of tomato to environmental stimuli and profiled the volatilomes of different rice accessions.The results identified benzothiazole as a potential airborne signal priming tomato plants for enhanced defense and 2-nonanone and 2-heptanone as novel aromatic compounds contributing to rice fragrance.These case studies suggest that the widely targeted volatilomics method is more efficient than those currently used and may considerably promote plant volatilomics studies. | Honglun Yuan Guangping Cao Xiaodong Hou Menglan Huang Pengmeng Du Tingting Tan Youjin Zhang Haihong Zhou Xianqing Liu Ling Liu Yiding Jiangfang Yufei Li Zhenhuan Liu Chuanying Fang Liqing Zhao Alisdair R.Fernie Jie Luo | 2022 | Molecular Plant2022,15,1: | 2 |
| 10 | Geotechnical engineering blasting:a new modal aliasing cancellation methodology of vibration signal de-noising显示文摘In the present study of peak particle velocity(PPV)and frequency,an improved algorithm(principal empirical mode decomposition,PEMD)based on principal component analysis(PCA)and empirical mode decomposition(EMD)is proposed,with the goal of addressing poor filtering de-noising effects caused by the occurrences of modal aliasing phenomena in EMD blasting vibration signal decomposition processes.Test results showed that frequency of intrinsic mode function(IMF)components decomposed by PEMD gradually decreases and that the main frequency is unique,which eliminates the phenomenon of modal aliasing.In the simulation experiment,the signal-to-noise(SNR)and root mean square errors(RMSE)ratio of the signal de-noised by PEMD are the largest when compared to EMD and ensemble empirical mode decomposition(EEMD).The main frequency of the de-noising signal through PEMD is 75 Hz,which is closest to the frequency of the noiseless simulation signal.In geotechnical engineering blasting experiments,compared to EMD and EEMD,the signal de-noised by PEMD has the lowest level of distortion,and the frequency band is distributed in a range of 0-64 Hz,which is closest to the frequency band of the blasting vibration signal.In addition,the proportion of noise energy was the lowest,at 1.8%. | Yi Wenhua Yan Lei Wang Zhenhuan Yang Jianhua Tao Tiejun Liu Liansheng | 2022 | Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2022,21,2: | 2 |

| 13 | Comparative study of big data of global adakites and mineralization-related granite in the Geza arc metallogenic belt, northwest Yunnan, Southwest China显示文摘The Geza arc is an important part of the Sanjiang tectono-magmatic belt and is a newly discovered copper polymetallic ore concentration area in northwest Yunnan province,Southwest China.The area comprises numerous metal ore deposits,including one super-largedeposit,three large deposits,etc.The formation of these deposits was closely related to intermediate–acidic magmatic intrusions.Based on previous studies,the“big data”analysis technique was used for a comparative study of large geochemical datasets of granite related to ore-formation in the Geza porphyry copper deposit and global adakites.As a result,1313 element combinations and 127,765 overlap ratios were obtained.The results show that the Geza porphyry has similar geochemical characteristics to global adakites(the ratios of REE and Ga to major elements are in the range of global adakites).However,theCu,Mo,and Zn contents of the porphyry are significantly higher than those of global adakites,and the porphyry may,therefore,represent an end-member of the global range of adakite composition.In addition,the geochemistry of adakites associated with the porphyry copper deposits overlaps in part with that of global adakites,although most of the data lie outside of the range of global adakites(i.e.lowMn/Cu,Sr/Cu,Na/Cu,and Zr/Cu values,and high Th/Cu,Ba/Cu,Na/Mo,Rb/Mo,Th/Mo,Ta/Mo,Ba/Mo,Mn/Zn,and Ba/Znvalues).The samples with characteristics that deviate significantly from the geochemistry of global adakites show more advanced mineralization and alteration,and a stronger relationship with Cu and Momineralization.The results of geochemical data mining can be used as a prospecting indicator,and provide a new scientific basis for geological prospecting of the deep levels and per-iphery of the Geza Cu polymetallic ore belt. | Liu Xuelong Li Wenchang Zhang Qi Zhang Na Zhang Changzhen Luo Ying Wang Shuaishuai Yang Fucheng Chen Jianhang Li Zhenhuan | 2018 | Big Earth Data2018,2,3: | 1 |

| 19 | Nanoscale all-optical logic devices显示文摘Commercial computers based on electronic logic devices have brought great changes to the world. However, traditional electronic devices are suffering from numerous technical challenges in their attempts to continue to satisfy Moore's law. Alloptical logic devices, as promising successors to their electronic counterparts, have become a major focus of optics research. In this paper, we provide a review of current all-optical logic devices. The logic gates in these devices, which are described in the first part of the review, are divided into five categories based on the different principles used in their realization. Complex optical devices with various functions and reconfigurable devices are summarized in the next section. In the final part of this paper, we discuss some of the previous works on all-optical integrated chips with specific functions.
