| 1 | Hi-TOM: a platform for high-throughput tracking of mutations induced by CRISPR/Cas systems显示文摘The CRISPR/Cas system has been extensively applied to make precise genetic modifications in various organisms. Despite its importance and widespread use, large-scale mutation screening remains time-consuming, labour-intensive and costly. Here, we developed Hi-TOM(available at http://www.hi-tom.net/hi-tom/), an online tool to track the mutations with precise percentage for multiple samples and multiple target sites. We also described a corresponding next-generation sequencing(NGS) library construction strategy by fixing the bridge sequences and barcoding primers. Analysis of the samples from rice, hexaploid wheat and human cells reveals that the Hi-TOM tool has high reliability and sensitivity in tracking various mutations, especially complex chimeric mutations frequently induced by genome editing. Hi-TOM does not require special design of barcode primers,cumbersome parameter configuration or additional data analysis. | 3 | Adaptive Service Provisioning for Mobile Edge Cloud显示文摘A mobile edge cloud provides a platform to accommodate the offloaded traffic workload generated by mobile devices.It can significantly reduce the access delay for mobile application users.However,the high user mobility brings significant challenges to the service provisioning for mobile users,especially to delay-sensitive mobile applications.With the objective to maximize a profit,which positively associates with the overall admitted traffic served by the local edge cloud,and negatively associates with the access delay as well as virtual machine migration delay,we study a fundamental problem in this paper:how to update the service provisioning solution for a given group of mobile users.Such a profit-maximization problem is formulated as a nonlinear integer linear programming and linearized by absolute value manipulation techniques.Then,we propose a framework of heuristic algorithms to solve this Nondeterministic Polynomial(NP)-hard problem.The numerical simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of the devised algorithms.Some useful summaries are concluded via the analysis of evaluation results. | HUANG Huawei GUO Song | 2017 | ZTE Communications2017,15,2: | 5 |

| 16 | Artificial Hybrid Solid Electrolyte-Mediated Ca Metal for Ultradurable Room Temperature 5 V Calcium Batteries显示文摘The anodic stability and reversibility of Ca metal electrodeposition/dissolution have always been hampered by surface passivation and anion corrosion,especially in F-based carbonate ester electrolytes at high device voltages.To avoid direct Ca metal/electrolyte reactions,an artificial hybrid solid electrolyte layer(AHSEL),which is characteristic of sodium/calcium carbonate and calcium hydride nitride nanocrystals of size<10 nm encapsulated by amorphous C,N species,is constructed on calcium with good ion conductivity(≈0.01 mS cm^(-1))and uniform coating of thickness≈20μm.After cycling in the KPF_(6) electrolyte,AHSEL is transformed into Na/K/Ca hybrid solid electrolyte interphases(SEIs),which is a compact layer composed of monodisperse nanocrystals(mostly Ca_(2)NH)and small amorphous zones,thus greatly suppressing the fluoridation of the Ca deposit.Consequently,the plating/stripping performance of AHSEL-modified Ca(AHSEL-Ca)is markedly improved compared with that of pristine Ca,lasting for>1400 h at a polarization shift of<0.4 mV/h.The AHSEL-Ca anode also endows Ca batteries with superior anodic stability with a ceiling voltage of up to 5.0 V,a high discharge voltage(>3.3 V),a large capacity of≈80 mAh g^(-1)at 200 mA g^(-1),and an ultralong lifespan≈5000 cycles. | Huawei Song Chengxin Wang | 2023 | Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,2: | 0 |
