1Influence of different extrusion processes on mechanical properties of magnesium alloy显示文摘AZ31 Mg alloy sheets were processed by the conventional symmetrical extrusion(CSE)and the asymmetric extrusion(ASE).Progressive-asymmetric extrusion(PASE)and severe strain-asymmetric extrusion(SASE)were employed for ASE processes.The texture at near-surface and mid-layer zones of ASE sheets was diverse penetrating the normal direction(ND).This was attributed to an additional asymmetric shear strain deformation during the ASE process.(0002)basal planes of PASE sheets tilt to the shear deformation direction.Meanwhile,the basal texture intensity of PASE sheets has been weakened compared with one in CSE sheets.Grain refinement and tilted weak basal texture obtained by SASE process dramatically enhances the room temperature strength and plasticity of the extruded AZ31 magnesium alloy sheets.The microstructure and mechanical responses were examined and discussed.Qingshan Yang Bin Jiang Hucheng Pan Bo Song Zhongtao Jiang Jiahong Dai Lifei Wang Fusheng Pan 2014Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2014,2,3:11
2Effect of extrusion speed on microstructure and mechanical properties of the Mg-Ca binary alloy显示文摘This work reported the effect of extrusion speeds on the microstructures and mechanical properties of Mg-Ca binary alloy.The results showed that yield strength of the as-extruded Mg-1.2wt.%Ca alloys decrease from∼360MPa to∼258MPa as the ram speed increases from 0.4mm/s to 2.4 mm/s,and the elongation increases from∼3.9%to∼12.2%.The microstructure changes from bimodal grain feature to the complete dynamical recrystallization(DRX)with increase of the extrusion speed.The ultrafine DRXed grains in size of∼0.85μm,the numerous nano-Mg_(2)Ca particles dispersing along the grain boundaries and interiors,as well as the high density of residual dislocations,should account for the high strength.It is believed that the high degree of dynamic recrystallization and the resulting texture randomization play the critical roles in the ductility enhancement of the high-speed extruded Mg alloys.Jingren Li Aiyue Zhang Hucheng Pan Yuping Ren Zhuoran Zeng Qiuyan Huang Changlin Yang Lifeng Ma Gaowu Qin 2021Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,4:9

4α→β Transformation characteristics revealed by pulsed laser-induced non-equilibrium microstructures in duplex-phase Zr alloy显示文摘Microstructures of a duplex-phase Zr-2.5Nb alloy treated by pulsed laser were characterized by electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD) and electron channeling contrast(ECC) imaging techniques.Major attention has been paid to non-equilibrium hybrid microstructure consisting of both prior a and β phases,and a plates transformed from new β phases to probe α→β transformation characteristics in the alloy.The origin of the hybrid microstructure is attributed to the specific thermodynamic conditions induced by the pulsed laser treatment.ECC observation shows that newly formed β phases during laser heating prefer to nucleate and grow at the expense of edges of prior a grains rather than their interiors.EBSD analyses further reveal that orientations of the new βphases are not determined by the prior a grains according to the Burgers relationship but maintain those of the prior β phases in an epitaxial growth way.CHAI LinJiang WANG Shu Yan WU Hao GUO Ning PAN HuCheng CHEN Liang Yu MURTY K.L. 5Mechanical stress distribution and risk assessment of 110 kV GIS insulator considering Al_(2)O_(3)settlement显示文摘The growing application of gas insulated switchgear(GIS)in electric power system asks for higher reliability of epoxy(EP)insulators,thus it is important to seek effective methods to improve the operating reliability of GIS insulators.On the basis of the 110 kV GIS insulator,this study studied the aluminium oxide(Al_(2)O_(3))settlement in the curing process and the stress distribution of the horizontally laid GIS.Besides,the risk coefficient was defined to evaluate the operating reliability of insulators laid by different methods(I-V).Some conclusions are shown below:the Al_(2)O_(3)settlement in the curing process causes the insulator density to have a large variation from 2.13 to 2.32 g/cm^(3).The Al_(2)O_(3)content has a great influence on the mechanical performances of EP/Al_(2)O_(3)system.The first principle stress is localised on the upper interface between the insulator and the conductor,which is the main threat to the mechanical damage of insulator.The laying method V appears to be optimal with a pretty low risk coefficient of 31.5.In actual application,for the horizontally laid GIS,the insulator should be laid with the mould gate downward to improve its mechanical reliability.Hucheng Liang Boxue Du Jin Li Zehua Wang 2019High Voltage2019,4,1:5
6Promising functional graded materials for compact gaseous insulated switchgears/pipelines显示文摘The electric field distributions along gas-solid interfaces determine the reliability,lifetimes and sizes of gaseous insulated switchgears/pipelines(GIS/GIL),which also affect the reliability of power systems.In this study,the characteristics of steady and transient electric field distributions were first introduced,followed by the concept of functionally graded materials(FGMs).The development histories of FGM applied in electrical engineering and the related optimisation methods were described in detail.The field regulation effect and fabrication technology of different FGM insulators were also compared.To overcome the limitations of traditional FGM insulators,the design of surface FGM(SFGM)was proposed,together with their preparation methods and electrical performance.Furthermore,the future development prospects of FGM and SFGM insulators for compact GIS/GIL were summarised.Jin Li Hucheng Liang Yun Chen Boxue Du 2020High Voltage2020,5,3:5

8Orbital control on cyclical organic matter accumulation in Early Silurian Longmaxi Formation shales显示文摘High resolution(939 samples)total organic carbon content(TOC)analyses were conducted on the Shuanghe Section of^152.6 m in the Changning area,Sichuan Basin.The sampling section was divided into two units considering the distinct-different deposit environment and sediments accumulation rate.The lower part(Unit 1)and the peer part(Unit 2)with high resolution sample spacing(0.08–0.4 m)enables the identification of the precession cycle in two sedimentary sequences with distinct different sedimentary accumulation rate.MTM Power spectral analyses on untuned TOC series reveals significant peaks exceeding above the 95%confidence level and shows that both Unit 1 and Unit 2 have recorded Milankovitch cycles of 405 kyr long eccentricity,short eccentricity,obliquity and precession.The floating astronomical time scale(ATS)was constructed on the Shuanghe Section in the Early Silurian(~439.673–444.681 Ma),and which was calibrated by 405 kyr long eccentricity cycles.The total duration of the Wufeng and Longmaxi shales is 5.01 Myr.The floating ATS used for estimating the duration of the graptolite zones and each stage in the study interval.Finally,we postulated two models that could verify the linkage between orbital cycle and organic accumulation.To make sure whether productivity or preservation is the main factor that under long eccentricity control,the phase correlation between the obtained filtered signal and the theoretical orbital solution should be made clear in the further research.Siding Jin Hucheng Deng Xing Zhu Yan Liu Sibing Liu Meiyan Fu 2020Geoscience Frontiers2020,11,2:4
9Low-cost and high-strength Mg-Al-Ca-Zn-Mn wrought alloy with balanced ductility显示文摘A novel low-cost Mg-Al-Ca-Zn-Mn-based alloy was developed to simultaneously improve its strength and ductility.The high yield strength of 411 MPa and the high elongation to failure of~8.9%have been achieved in the as-extruded Mg-1.3Al-1.2Ca-0.5Zn-0.6Mn(wt%)sample.Microstructure characterizations showed that the high strength is mainly associated with the ultra-fined dynamically recrystallized(DRXed)grains.Moreover,high-density dislocations in the un-DRXed region and nano-precipitates are distributed among theα-Mg matrix.The high ductility property can be ascribed to the high volume fraction of DRXed grains with a much randomized texture,as well as the formations of high-density subgrains in the un-DRXed grain regions.Kun Yang Hucheng Pan Sen Du Man Li Jingren Li Hongbo Xie Qiuyan Huang Huajun Mo Gaowu Qin 2022International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,7:3
10Matrix stiffness exacerbates the proinflammatory responses of vascular smooth muscle cell through the DDR1-DNMT1 mechanotransduction axis显示文摘Vascular smooth muscle cell (vSMC) is highly plastic as its phenotype can change in response to mechanical cues inherent to the extracellular matrix (ECM). VSMC may be activated from its quiescent contractile phenotype to a proinflammatory phenotype, whereby the cell secretes chemotactic and inflammatory cytokines, e.g. MCP1 and IL6, to functionally regulate monocyte and macrophage infiltration during the development of various vascular diseases including arteriosclerosis. Here, by culturing vSMCs on polyacrylamide (PA) substrates with variable elastic moduli, we discovered a role of discoidin domain receptor 1 (DDR1), a receptor tyrosine kinase that binds collagens, in mediating the mechanical regulation of vSMC gene expression, phenotype, and proinflammatory responses. We found that ECM stiffness induced DDR1 phosphorylation, oligomerization, and endocytosis to repress the expression of DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1), very likely in a collagen-independent manner. The DDR1-to-DNMT1 signaling was sequentially mediated by the extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERKs) and p53 pathways. ECM stiffness primed vSMC to a proinflammatory phenotype and this regulation was diminished by DDR1 inhibition. In agreement with the in vitro findings, increased DDR1 phosphorylation was observed in human arterial stiffening. DDR1 inhibition in mouse attenuated the acute injury or adenine diet-induced vascular stiffening and inflammation. Furthermore, mouse vasculature with SMC-specific deletion of Dnmt1 exhibited proinflammatory and stiffening phenotypes. 11Dynamic Response of Double-Sided Loess Slope under Vehicle Load显示文摘In order to verify and study the dynamic response law on the double-sided loess slope under the action of the waves generated by automobile traffic,we select a double-sided loess slope from the long section of Anzi Road as the research object.Both field investigations and on-site monitoring processes are conducted,for the purpose of providing robust basis for road protection in these conditions.In detail,vehicleinduced vibration signals are different according to different vehicle types,speeds,as well as positions,and thus are collected,respectively.Based on the statistical analysis of the signals,the vibration response law and frequency spectrum characteristics of the slope are summarized.The results show that:①The dynamic response of the doublesided loess slope increases as the vehicle load increases,and the strong vibration response area is located in the middle of the side slope;②When the vehicle load is small,the vibration wave amplification effect is obvious.On the contrary,when the vehicle load is large,the vibration wave amplification effect is weakened;③The spectrum distribution of the X-direction wave is single-peak shape,and the dominant frequency is concentrated in 30-50 Hz;the frequency spectrum distribution of the Zdirection wave shows a multi-peak shape,and the dominant frequency is concentrated in 20-180 Hz;④The vibration wave propagates in the slope.The frequency change shows little correlation with the type,speed and position of the vehicle,and instead,it is mainly determined by the slope itself.This study reveals the dynamic response on doubled-sided loess slopes and provides both theoretical and practical significance for the road protection in such situations.LI Peng YANG Hucheng SU Shengrui LIU Xiang 2020Earthquake Research in China2020,34,4:2
12Clinical Efficacy of Surgical Removal of Deep Corneal Plant Foreign Bodies显示文摘Purpose:To describe a technique for removing deep corneal plant foreign bodies. Methods:Twelve patients (7 males and 5 females, aged 5 to 56 years).with plant foreign bodies embedded in the deep cornea were treated between July 2011 and December 2012. The course of disease ranged from 1 to 11 d. Four of the patients had wooden foreign bodies, 3 had bamboo foreign bodies, and 5 had flower thorns; all underwent surgical removal. During the surgery,a novel suture needle was used to remove the foreign bodies.For injuries with a deep tunnel caused by the foreign bodies,the tunnel was cut open with a keratome. The foreign bodies were then removed and necrotic tissue was thoroughly debrided.Incisions were closed with interrupted sutures. The corneal foreign bodies were collected postoperatively for fungus and bacterial culture and appropriatemedical treatment was provided. Results: Bacteria were identified in 3 cases, fungus in 3 cases, and no bacteria or fungus in 6 cases.All corneal foreign bodies were embedded deep in the corneal stroma without incidence of full-thickness corneal penetration or intraocular infection. Conclusion:Plant foreign bodies embedded in the deep cornea should be removed immediately. During the surgery, the foreign bodies and surrounding necrotic corneal stroma should be completely removed. 13Bimodal plate structures induced by pulsed laser in duplex-phase Zr alloy显示文摘A duplex-phase Zr-2.5Nb alloy was treated by pulsed laser, followed by careful microstructural characterization using field emission gun scanning electron microscope and attached electron backscatter diffraction. Beneath the modification zones with common uniform α-plate structures(UPS), a layer of unreported bimodal α-plate structures(BPS) featured by coarse(submicron)plates forming multiple cores surrounded by dense fine(nanoscale) plates was found. Presence of such BPS is attributed to non-equilibrium thermodynamic conditions induced by the pulsed laser treatments. Limited diffusion of Nb due to the short pulse during laser heating allows β phases with distinctly different Nb contents to be presented: Nb-enriched prior β films and Nb-depleted β phases, transforming into the fine and the coarse plates during cooling, respectively. 14Piezo1 regulates migration and invasion of breast cancer cells via modulating cell mechanobiological properties显示文摘Cell migration and invasion are two essential processes during cancer metastasis. Increasing evidence has shown that the Piezo1 channel is involved in mediating cell migration and invasion in some types of cancers. However, the role of Piezo1 in the breast cancer and its underlying mechanisms have not been clarified yet. Here, we show that Piezo1 is high-expressed in breast cancer cell (BCC) lines, despite its complex expression in clinical patient database. Piezo1 knockdown (Piezo1-KD) promotes unconfined BCC migration, but impedes confined cell migration. Piezo1 may mediate BCC migration through the balances of cell adhesion, cell stiffness, and contractility. Furthermore, Piezo1-KD inhibits BCC invasion by impairing the invadopodium formation and suppressing the expression of metalloproteinases (MMPs) as well. However, the proliferation and cell cycle of BCCs are not significantly affected by Piezo1. 15Mobility driven network slicing: an enabler of on demand mobility management for 5G显示文摘As different requirements on mobility support will be introduced by diversified communication scenarios in the fifth generation(5G), on demand mobility management is put forward to simplify signaling process, reduce terminal power consumption, improve network efficiency and so on. In order to enable on demand mobility management in 5G networks, a mobility driven network slicing(MDNS) was proposed, which takes individual mobility support requirements into account while customizing networks for different mobile services. Within the MDNS framework, the actual levels of required mobility support are determined by a mobility description system, and network slice templates with the corresponding mobility management schemes are defined by a network slice description function. By instantiating the network slices, each mobile terminal could be directed to the network slice with the most appropriate mobility management scheme. Based on this, a prototype was implemented to validate the feasibility of MDNS framework, i.e. creating multiple network slices with different mobility management schemes. 18Anomalous crystal structure of γ' phase in the Mg-RE-Zn(Ag) series alloys:Causality clarified by ab initio study显示文摘The crystal structure of the single-unit-cell thickness γ ' phase,as a key strengthening phase in Mg-REZn(Ag) series alloys,has been extensively studied,and several structural models have been proposed in the past two decades.However,these reported models,and even the lattice constants at the same proposed structure,are scattered severely,which has led to considerable confusion and not available for further mechanical property simulation and prediction of Mg alloys containing this phase.In this study,by using first-principles calculations,the crystal structure of y' phase is clarified,resolving the discrepancies among different experiments,and its intrinsic mechanical properties have also been studied for the first time.It is verified that the γ ' phase contains quasi-five atomic layers,instead of the previously reported tri-layer,and surprisingly,its crystal structure has many variants,which would change with the alloy composition.Besides,with the help of the simulated selected area electron diffraction(SAED) patterns,it is found that the atoms in the central layer remain partially ordered distribution,and this ordered extent primarily depends on the atomic ratio of RE:Zn(Ag) and the solute content in an alloy.That is,the ordered extent increases with decreasing the atomic ratio of RE:Zn(Ag) and/or increasing solute content of alloy,and vice versa.Ag and Zn dissolved in the γ' phase would produce almost opposed mechanical anisotropy for the γ ' phase under the identical crystal structure,and the addition of Ag shows more efficient on increasing the shear modulus of γ' phase.Junyuan Bai Xueyong Pang Xiangying Meng Hongbo Xie Hucheng Pan Yuping Ren Min Jiang Gaowu Qin 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,36,1:1
