| 1 | The reversal of antineoplastic drug resistance in cancer cells by B-elemene显示文摘Multidrug resistance(MDR), deined as the resistance of cancer cells to compounds with diverse structures and mechanisms of actions, signiicantly limits the eicacy of antitumor drugs. A major mechanism that mediates MDR in cancer is the overexpression of adenosine triphosphate(ATP)?binding cassette transporters. These transporters bind to their respective substrates and catalyze their elux from cancer cells, thereby lowering the intracellular concentra?tions of the substrates and thus attenuating or even abolishing their eicacy. In addition, cancer cells can become resistant to drugs via mechanisms that attenuate apoptosis and cell cycle arrest such as alterations in the p53, check point kinase, nuclear factor kappa B, and the p38 mitogen?activated protein kinase pathway. | 2 | Spatial correlation analysis of sea-bottom backscattering显示文摘The principle of the spatial correlation characteristics of sea-bottom backscattering was expounded.The Kirchhoff model is introduced to simulate sea-bottom backscattering and the spatial correlation is calculated.Some sediment characteristic parameters,such as the ratio of sediment mass density to water mass density,the ratio of sediment sound speed to water sound speed,the attenuation coefficient of sound waves,the strength and exponent of seabottom interface roughness spectrum,are considered while simulating and their influences on spatial correlation are analyzed.By establishing the expressions of the sediment characteristic parameters with the logarithmic sediment grain size,the variation tendency of the spatial correlation versus the logarithmic sediment grain size is obtained.The width of the major lobe of the spatial correlation function narrows as the logarithmic sediment grain size increases.The comparisons between simulated data and in-situ data collected in October 2007 have proven that their spatial correlation function waveforms agree well under the same sediment characteristics. | KUAI Duojie WANG Changhong FENG Lei WANG Yuling QIU Wei YI Huiqin CHEN Long | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Acoustics2012，31，3： | 9 |
| 3 | Toxoplasma gondii GRA15II effector-induced M1 cells ameliorate liver fibrosis in mice infected with Schistosomiasis japonica显示文摘Recent studies indicated that type II Toxoplasma gondii(Tg)GRA15II favored the generation of classically activated macrophages(M1),whereas type I/III TgROP16I/III promoted the polarization of alternatively activated macrophages(M2).A number of studies have demonstrated that M2 cells are involved in the pathogenesis of the liver fibrogenesis caused by Schistosoma japonicum.The purpose of the present study was to explore the inhibitory effect of Toxoplasma-derived TgGRA15II on mouse hepatic fibrosis with schistosomiasis.The gra15II and rop16I/III genes were amplified from strains T.gondii PRU and Chinese 1 Wh3,respectively.Lentiviral vectors containing the gra15II or rop16I/III plasmid were constructed and used to infect the RAW264.7 cell line.The polarization of the transfected cells was evaluated,followed by co-culture of the biased macrophages with mouse hepatic stellate JS1 cells.Then,mice were injected with GRA15II-driven macrophages via the tail vein and infected with S.japonicum cercariae.TgGRA15II induced a M1-biased response,whereas TgROP16I/III drove the macrophages to a M2-like phenotype.The in vitro experiments indicated that JS1 cell proliferation and collagen synthesis were decreased following co-culture with TgGRA15II-activated macrophages.Furthermore,mice inoculated with TgGRA15II-biased macrophages displayed a notable alleviation of collagen deposition and granuloma formation in their liver tissues.Our results suggest that TgGRA15II-induced M1 cells may dampen the M2 dominant pathogenesis of hepatic fibrosis and granulomatosis.These results provide insights into the use of parasite-derived immunomodulators as potential anti-fibrosis agents and to re-balance the schistosomiasis-induced immune response. | Yuanyuan Xie Huiqin Wen Ke Yan Shushu Wang Xuesong Wang Jian Chen Yuanling Li Yuanhong Xu Zhengrong Zhong Jilong Shen Deyong Chu | 2018 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018，15，2： | 4 |

| 5 | Detailed resume of RNA m^(6)A demethylases显示文摘N6-Methyladenosine(m^(6)A) is the most abundant internal modification in eukaryotic mRNA,playing critical role in various bioprocesses. Like other epigenetic modifications, m^(6)A modification can be catalyzed by the methyltransferase complex and erased dynamically to maintain cells homeostasis. Up to now, only two m^(6)A demethylases have been reported, fat mass and obesity-associated protein(FTO)and alkylation protein AlkB homolog 5(ALKBH5), involving in a wide range of mRNA biological progress, including mRNA shearing, export, metabolism and stability. Furthermore, they participate in many significantly biological signaling pathway, and contribute to the progress and development of cancer along with other diseases. | 8 | Electrical and Mechanical Properties of PMMA/nano-ATO Composites显示文摘Conducting nanocomposites of poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) and antimony doped tin oxide (ATO) were prepared by solution blending. The influences of ATO content on the electrical conductivity, thermal stability, and mechanical properties of the nanocomposites were investigated. A homogeneous dispersion of silane coupling agent modified ATO was achieved in PMMA matrix as evidenced by scanning electron microscopy. The resultant PMMA/silane-ATO nanocomposites were electrically conductive with significant conductivity enhancement at 4 wt pct. It was found that the composition at 4 wt pct ATO gave the higher tensile strength. Furthermore, it gave the largest elongation at break value among all the compositions. The key technology is that it utilizes FPGA to test RAM according to some algorithm to find out failure memory units and replace the faulty units with FPGA. Then it can build a memory that has no fault concern to external controller, and realizes the logic binding between external controller and RAM. Micro Controller Unit (MCU) can operate external RAM correctly even if RAM has some fault address units. Conventional MCS-51 is used to simulate the operation of MCU operating external memory. Simulation shows FPGA can complete the faulty address units' mapping and MCU can normally read and write external RAM.
