| 1 | Samarium doped apatite-type orange-red emitting phosphor Ca5(PO4)2SiO4 with satisfactory thermal properties for n-UV w-LEDs显示文摘A novel single-phase Sm^3+activated Ca5(PO4)2SiO4 phosphor was successfully fabricated via a conventional solid-state method,which can be e fficie ntly excited by near ultraviolet(n-UV)light-emitting chips.The crystal structure and luminescence properties were characterized and analyzed systematically by using relevant instruments.The Ca5(PO4)2SiO4:Sm^3+phosphor shows an orange-red emission peaking at600 nm under the excitation of 403 nm and the optimal doping concentration of Sm^3+is determined to be 0.08,The critical distance of Ca5(PO4)2SiO4:0.08 Sm^3+is calculated to be 1.849 nm and concentration quenching mechanism of the Sm^3+in Ca5(PO4)2SiO4 host is ascribed to energy transfer between nearestneighbor activators.The decay time of Ca5(PO4)2 SiO4:0,08 Sm^3+is determined to be 1.1957 ms.In addition,the effect of temperature on the emission intensity was also studied,72.4%of the initial intensity is still preserved at 250℃,better thermal stability compared to commercial phosphor YAG:Ce^3+indicates that Ca5(PO4)2SiO4:0.08 Sm^3+has excellent thermal stability and active energy is deduced to be 0.130 eV.All the results demonstrate that orange-red emitting Ca5(PO4)2SiO4:0.08 Sm3+phosphor exhibits good luminescent properties.Owing to the excellent thermal quenching luminescence property,Ca5(PO4)2SiO4:0.08 Sm^3+phosphor can be applied in n-UV white light emitting diodes and serve as the warm part of white light. | Ze Zhang Jialiang Niu Wei Zhou Dingdian Xu Huanhuan Du | 2019 | Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,9: | 5 |
| 2 | MicroRNA-142-3p is frequently upregulated in colorectal cancer and may be involved in the regulation of cell proliferation显示文摘MicroRNAs are small single-stranded RNA molecules consisting of approximately 22 nucleotides (nt), and have post-transcriptional regulatory functions. By gene chip screening, we previously showed that miR-142-3p was significantly upregulated in colorectal cancer tissue and was associated with clinicopathological features, compared with matched non-tumor tissue. In this study, we confirmed significant upregulation of miR-142-3p in 60 colorectal cancer samples and three colorectal cancer cell lines by quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR). Using software and network resources, we predicted TCF7 as a target of miR-142-3p, which we confirmed with dual-luciferase assays. By RT-PCR and Western blot analysis, we found miR-142-3p negatively regulates TCF7 expression post-transcriptionally. CCK8 assays and growth curves indicated that overexpression of miR-142-3p in SW480 colorectal cancer cells potently inhibited cell proliferation in vitro. The expression of TCF7 mRNA and protein was upregulated in both colorectal cancer tissues and colorectal cancer cell lines, closely correlating with its function as an oncogene in promoting tumor cell proliferation and inhibiting apoptosis. | 5 | Matrine inhibits mycelia growth of Botryosphaeria dothidea by affecting membrane permeability显示文摘Matrine is a promising botanical antifungal;however, the mechanism underlying the antifungal activity is yet limited. We studied the antifungal activity of matrine and the underlying mechanism in Botryosphaeria dothidea as a model strain. Matrine strongly inhibited mycelial growth of B. dothidea in a dose-dependent manner. Matrine-treated B. dothidea showed morphological and ultrastructural alterations, including shriveled hyphae, plasmolysis, and leakage of cytoplasm related to cell membrane deterioration. In addition, matrine caused significantly high conductivity and absorbance (260 nm) in extracellular matrices and low lipid contents in B. dothidea, indicating increased membrane permeability. Lipid peroxidation showed that matrine resulted in increased malondialdehyde content while enhancing the generation of reactive oxygen species and the activities of superoxide dismutase, catalase, and peroxidase. | 7 | Fabrication of niobium doped titanate nanoflakes with enhanced visible-light-driven photocatalytic activity for efficient ibuprofen degradation显示文摘In this study,a novel class of niobium(Nb) doped titanate nanoflakes(TNFs) are fabricated through a onestep hydrothermal method.Nb doping affects the curving of titanate nanosheet,leading to the formation of nanoflake structure.In addition,Nb5+ filled in the interlayers of [TiO6] alters the light adsorption property of pristine titanate.The band gap of Nb-TNFs is narrowed to 2.85 eV,while neat titanate nano tubes(TNTs) is 3.4 eV.The enhanced visible light adsorption significantly enhances the visible-lightdriven activity of Nb-TNFs for ibuprofen(IBP) degradation.The pseudo-first order kinetics constant for Nb-TNFs is calculated to be 1.04 h^-1,while no obvious removal is observed for TNTs.Photo-generated holes(h^+) and hydroxyl radicals(·OH) are responsible for IBP degradation.The photocatalytic activity of Nb-TNFs depends on pH condition,and the optimal pH value is found to be 5.In addition,Nb-TNFs exhibited superior photo-stability during the reuse cycles.The results demonstrated Nb-TNFs are very promising in photocatalytic water purification. | Wen Liu Wei Zhang Mushi Liu Penghui Du Chenyuan Dang Jialiang Liang Yunyi Li | 2019 | Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,12: | 3 |

| 10 | Crystal phase control in two-dimensional materials显示文摘It is the nature of crystals to exist in different polymorphs. The recent emergence of two-dimensional(2 D) materials has evoked the discovery of a number of new crystal phases that are different from their bulk structures at ambient conditions, and revealed novel structure-dependent properties, which deserve in-depth understanding and further exploration. In this contribution, we review the recent development of crystal phase control in 2 D materials, including group V and VI. transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs), group IVA metal chalcogenides and noble metals. For each group of materials, we begin with introducing the various existing crystal phases and their structure-related properties, followed by a detailed discussion on factors that influence these crystal structures and thus the possible strategies for phase control. | 18 | Anti-PD-L1 antibody enhances curative effect of cryoablation via antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity mediating PD-L1^(high)CD11b^(+)cells elimination in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Cryoablation(CRA)and microwave ablation(MWA)are two main local treatments for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,which one is more curative and suitable for combining with immunotherapy is still controversial.Herein,CRA induced higher tumoral PD-L1 expression and more T cells infiltration,but less PD-L1^(high)CD11b^(+)myeloid cells infiltration than MWA in HCC.Furthermore,CRA had better curative effect than MWA for anti-PD-L1 combination therapy in mouse models.Mechanistically,anti-PD-L1 antibody facilitated infiltration of CD8^(+)T cells by enhancing the secretion of CXCL9 from cDC1 cells after CRA therapy.On the other hand,anti-PD-L1 antibody promoted the infiltration of NK cells to eliminate PD-L1^(high)CD11b^(+)myeloid cells by antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity(ADCC)effect after CRA therapy.Both aspects relieved the immunosuppressive microenvironment after CRA therapy.Notably,the wild-type PD-L1 Avelumab(Bavencio),compared to the mutant PD-L1 atezolizumab(Tecentriq),was better at inducing the ADCC effect to target PD-L1^(high)CD11b^(+)myeloid cells.Collectively,our study uncovered the novel insights that CRA showed superior curative effect than MWA in combining with anti-PD-L1 antibody by strengthening CTL/NK cell immune responses,which provided a strong rationale for combining CRA and PD-L1 blockade in the clinical treatment for HCC. | Jizhou Tan Ting Liu Wenzhe Fan Jialiang Wei Bowen Zhu Yafang Liu Lingwei Liu Xiaokai Zhang Songling Chen Haibiao Lin Yuanqing Zhang Jiaping Li | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,2: | 0 |
