| 1 | Design and experimental study of a practical Osculating Inward Cone Waverider Inlet显示文摘A design method based on tip to tail streamline tracing and osculating inward cone methods is discussed for designing the integrated Osculating Inward Cone Waverider Inlet(OICWI). A practical geometrical constrained experimental model of OICWI is designed based on the validated design method. It has a total contraction ratio of 4.61 and inner contraction ratio is 2.0. Wind-tunnel tests have been conducted for the OICWI model at free stream Mach number(Ma_∞) of 4.0, 3.5 and 3.0 respectively. The experimental results show that the OICWI has high flow capture ratio and compression abilities. It can self-start at Ma_∞= 3.5 and 4.0 and its flow capture ratio is 0.73 at Ma_∞= 4.0, and Angle of Attack(AOA) 0°. The research results show that the OICWI has advantages of inward cone waverider and streamline tracing inlet. | 2 | Cobalt atoms dispersed on hierarchical carbon nitride support as the cathode electrocatalyst for high-performance lithium-polysulfide batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur batteries are promising candidates for next-generation energy storage but are confronted with several challenges. One of the possible solutions is to design proper cathode electrocatalysts to accelerate the redox interconversion of solvated polysulfide intermediates. Herein, we report cobalt atoms dispersed on hierarchical carbon nitride support as an effective cathode electrocatalyst for lithium-polysulfide batteries. The electrocatalyst material is prepared from the simple reaction between melamine and cyanuric acid in the presence of Co^2+, followed by the Ar annealing. The product has a unique hierarchical structure consisting of many thin and porous C3 N4 nanosheets finely dispersed with Co atoms. The atomic dispersion of Co species is confirmed by X-ray absorption experiments.Electrochemical measurements reveal that it can promote the interconversion of polysulfides. | 3 | Expression and characterization of insulin-like growth factor II mRNA binding protein in the razor clam Sinonovacula constricta显示文摘Insulin-like growth factor-II mRNA binding protein(igf2bp)is an mRNA binding protein that regulates the post-transcriptional fate of multiple transcripts.In this study,a novel igf2bp gene was identified in the razor clam Sinonovacula constricta.The complete 2254 bp Sc-igf2bp cDNA consists of an open reading frame(ORF)encoding 610 amino acid(aa)residues.The deduced protein includes a single RNA recognition motif(RRM)and four K homology(KH)domains.Sc-igf2bp transcripts were expressed widely during different developmental stages and in adult tissues,and a 95 kDa recombinant pEGX-4T-1-Scigf2bp protein was expressed in Escherichia coli Rosetta(DE3)pLysS cells and purified using Glutathione Sepharose 4B resin.Activity was evaluated by GST pull-down assays,and mass spectrometry results indicated that Sc-igf2bp may participate in RNA-related processes.The findings provide a basis for further research on the role of igf2bp in regulating the growth and development of the razor clam. | Shumei Xie Donghong Niu Yunchao Du Kanyun Wei Hai Dang Nguyen Jiale Li | 2017 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2017,2,6: | 1 |
| 4 | Determining the biological zero for gonadal development razor clams Sinonovacula constricta (lamarck 1818) in Zhejiang,China显示文摘The biological zero of gonadal development and the effective accumulated temperature of one and two-year-old razor clams Sinonovacula constricta(Lamarck 1818)were studied in Sanmen County,Zhejiang Province,China between April 2016 to October 2017,using a new variety named“Shen-Zhe No.1”.The biological zero was determined by using the rule of effective accumulated temperature and the linear regression method,which was confirmed using a histological analysis of the full gonadal development cycle.The results showed that the biological zero of gonadal reproduction of 1-year-old and 2-year-old S.constricta was the same:20.8℃.When the temperature reached 20–21℃,analysis of the histological sections indicated that more than half of the S.constricta individuals initiated gonadal development.The average effective accumulated temperature over two years was 806 d℃.This study contributes to our understanding of the regulation and control of gonadal maturation,suggesting that changes in the spawning and breeding season during one-year of farming using the new variety of razor clam could provide an economic benefit to industrialized large-scale spat production.The results demonstrated that the razor clam S.constricta is a typical clam of the accumulative temperature mature oviposition type.In addition,although S.constricta does not display hypothermy,it requires a lower temperature for gonadal maturity and spawning. | Baobao Xue Delong Meng Hao Li Wei Liang Donghong Niu Jiale Li Heding Shen | 2021 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2021,6,1: | 1 |

| 9 | Shen Qi Wan attenuates renal interstitial fibrosis through upregulating AQP1显示文摘Renal interstitial fibrosis(RIF)is the crucial pathway in chronic kidney disease(CKD)leading to the end-stage renal failure.However,the underlying mechanism of Shen Qi Wan(SQW)on RIF is not fully understood.In the current study,we investigated the role of Aquaporin 1(AQP1)in SQW on tubular epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition(EMT).A RIF mouse model induced by adenine and a TGF-β1-stimulated HK-2 cell model were etablished to explore the involvement of AQP 1 in the protective effect of SQW on EMT in vitro and in vivo.Subsequently,the molecular mechanism of SQW on EMT was explored in HK-2 cells with AQP1 knockdown.The results indicated that SQW alleviated kidney injury and renal collagen deposition in the kidneys of mice induced by adenine,increased the protein expression of E-cadherin and AQP1 expression,and decreased the expression of vimentin andα-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA).Similarly,treatmement with SQW-containing serum significantly halted EMT process in TGF-β1 stimulated HK-2 cells.The expression of snail and slug was significantly upregulated in HK-2 cells after knockdown of AQP1.AQP1 knockdown also increased the mRNA expression of vimentin andα-SMA,and decreased the expression of E-cadherin.The protein expression of vimentin increased,while the expression of E-cadherin and CK-18 significantly decreased after AQP1 knockdown in HK-2 cells.These results revealed that AQP1 knockdown promoted EMT.Furthermore,AQP1 knockdown abolished the protective effect of SQW-containing serum on EMT in HK-2 cells.In sum,SQW attentuates EMT process in RIF through upregulation of the expression of AQP1. | LIN Yiyou WEI Jiale ZHANG Yehui HUANG Junhao WANG Sichen LUO Qihan YU Hongxia JI Liting ZHOU Xiaojie LI Changyu | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2023,21,5: | 1 |
| 10 | Deep eutectic solvent assisted facile synthesis of low-dimensional hierarchical porous high-entropy oxides显示文摘High-entropy-oxides(HEOs),a new class of solids that contain five or more elemental species,have attracted increasing interests owing to their unique structures and fascinating physicochemical properties.However,it is a huge challenge to construct various nanostructured,especially low-dimensional nanostructured HEOs under the high temperature synthetic conditions.Herein,a facile strategy using glucose-urea deep eutectic solvent(DES)as both a solvent and the carbon source of structure-directed template is proposed for the synthesis of various HEOs with two-dimentional(2D)nanonets and one-dimentional(1D)nanowires,including rock-salt(Co,Cu,Mg,Ni,Zn)O,spinel(Co,Cr,Fe,Mn,Ni)_(3)O_(4),and perovskite La(Co,Cr,Fe,Mn,Ni)O_(3).The as-prepared HEOs possessed five or more uniformly dispersed metal elements,large specific surface areas(more than 25 m^(2)·g^(−1)),and a pure single-phase structure.In addition,high cooling rate(cooling in air or liq-N_(2)-quenching)was indispensable to obtain a single-phase rock-salt(Co,Cu,Mg,Ni,Zn)O because of phase separation caused by copper.By taking advantage of unique features of HEOs,rock-salt(Co,Cu,Mg,Ni,Zn)O can function as a promising candidate for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)anode material,which achieved excellent cycling stability.This work provides a feasible synthetic strategy for low-dimensional hierarchical HEOs,which creates new opportunities for the stable HEOs being highly active functional materials. | Jiale Wei Kai Rong Xiaolong Li Yuchen Wang Zhen-An Qiao Youxing Fang Shaojun Dong | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,3: | 1 |
| 11 | Identification of a phage-derived depolymerase specific for KL47 capsule of Klebsiella pneumoniae and its therapeutic potential in mice显示文摘Klebsiella pneumoniae is one of the major pathogens causing global multidrug-resistant infections.Therefore,strategies for preventing and controlling the infections are urgently needed.Phage depolymerase,often found in the tail fiber protein or the tail spike protein,is reported to have antibiofilm activity.In this study,phage P560isolated from sewage showed specific for capsule locus type KL47 K.pneumoniae,and the enlarged haloes around plaques indicated that P560 encoded a depolymerase.The capsule depolymerase,ORF43,named P560dep,derived from phage P560 was expressed,purified,characterized and evaluated for enzymatic activity as well as specificity.We reported that the capsule depolymerase P560dep,can digest the capsule polysaccharides on the surface of KL47 type K.pneumoniae,and the depolymerization spectrum of P560dep matched to the host range of phage P560,KL47 K.pneumoniae.Crystal violet staining assay showed that P560dep was able to significantly inhibit biofilm formation.Further,a single dose(50μg/mouse)of depolymerase intraperitoneal injection protected 90%–100%of mice from lethal challenge before or after infection by KL47 carbapenem-resistant K.pneumoniae.And pathological changes were alleviated in lung and liver of mice infected by KL47 type K.pneumoniae.It is demonstrated that depolymerase P560dep as an attractive antivirulence agent represents a promising tool for antimicrobial therapy. | Min Li Hui Wang Long Chen Genglin Guo Pei Li Jiale Ma Rong Chen Hong Du Yuqing Liu Wei Zhang | 2022 | Virologica Sinica2022,37,4: | 1 |

| 16 | Biomimetic earthworm dynamic soil looser for improving soybean emergence rate in cold and arid regions显示文摘In cold and arid regions,soil moisture content and accumulated temperature were seriously insufficient during spring sowing,which made it difficult for soybean seedling to emerge.Based on the principle of earthworm optimization and improvement of soil structure,this study innovatively designed a biomimetic earthworm dynamic soil looser through bionic design and theoretical calculation.By highly reducing the movement path and mode of earthworm in the soil,the mechanism could improve the soil temperature(ST)and soil moisture content(SMC),and thus greatly improve the soybean emergence rate(SER).In this study,the effects of biomimetic earthworm dynamic soil looser and its design parameters on soil temperature(ST),soil moisture content(SMC)and soybean emergence rate(SER)were investigated by two-factor test,analysis of variance(ANOVA)and Least significant Difference(LSD).Regression analysis was used to establish the mathematical model between design parameters and soybean emergence rate.MATLAB software was used to optimize the model,and the optimal design parameter combination was obtained.The contrast experiments showed that the biomimetic earthworm dynamic soil looser could construct the soil structure more suitable for the cold and arid regions.Compared with rotary blade(RB)and notched disc harrow(DH),biomimetic earthworm dynamic soil looser could increase soil moisture content by 41.30%and 27.50%,respectively.Compared with the notched disc harrow,the soil temperature could be increased by 7.97%.There was no significant difference between the effect of rotary blade on soil temperature(p>0.05).The soybean emergence rate was increased by 25.40%and 20.70%,respectively,compared with that of notched disc harrow and rotary blade. | Jiale Zhao Xiaogeng Wang Yun Lu Yanpeng Wei Mingzhuo Guo Jun Fu | 2021 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,3: | 1 |
| 17 | Compact MPPC-based coded aperture imaging camera for dual-particle detection显示文摘Purpose Fast neutrons and gamma-ray imaging detection is an effective way to detect and identify radioactive material in the field of nuclear security.A compact coded aperture imaging(CAI)camera was designed to be sensitive to both gamma and neutron radiation based on plastic scintillators and multi-pixel photon counters(MPPC).Methods MPPCs coupling with the 13×13 pixelated plastic scintillators one-to-one were utilized to reduce the scale of the CAI system while maintaining good positional performance.The symmetric charge division(SCD)circuit was adopted to reduce the 169 signals output from the MPPC array to 26.Each waveform was collected and processed with four Domino Ring Sampler 4(DRS4)chips and two 16-channel analog-to-digital converter(ADC)modules.As the pulse shapes of fast neutrons would be broadened after elastic scattering multiple times in the scintillators,the Anger-Logic method was applied to eliminate multiple elastic scattering events so that good pulse shape discrimination(PSD)performance can be achieved.Results The imaging and detection ability of the camerawas evaluated using the 241Am-Be(5.9×10^(5) n/s)neutron source and 137Cs(370 MBq)gammasource.The camera can be used to detect fast neutrons(0.5–10 MeV)and gammarays(0.2–2.5MeV).Furthermore,it can implement efficient neutron/gamma PSD capabilities in the mixed-field environment.The figure of merit(FOM)of the camera calculated at 400keVee energy cut is 0.93.Conclusion A compact MPPC-based CAI camera was designed to detect and discriminate fast neutrons and gamma rays.Its good PSD performance was well suited to distinguish fast neutrons from gamma rays in a dual-particle environment.The portable design makes it promising for complex monitoring scenarios in nuclear security. | Jing Guo Xiaoyu Pang Jiale Cai Daowu Li Xiaoming Wang Xuanhou Hu Yue Yu Shuangquan Liu Xiuzuo Liang Yiwen Zhang Lei Shuai Long Wei | 2021 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2021,5,1: | 1 |
| 18 | Surface oxygen-deficient Ti2SC for enhanced lithium-ion uptake显示文摘Recently, MAX phases show great potential in lithium-ion uptake due to their excellent electrical conductivity and unique lamellar-structure accommodating lithium ions. However, the reports about MAX electrodes for lithium-ion battery up to now are relatively low. Herein we report the preparation of surface oxygen-deficient Ti2SC with abundant oxygen vacancies by a facile surface engineering method. When using as a lithium storage anode, this oxygen-deficient Ti2SC delivers a high capacity of 350 m Ah/g at a current density of 400 m A/g as well as excellent rate performance, doubling the capacity compared to that of Ti2SC without oxygen vacancies. Confirmed by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and kinetic mechanism analyses, after reducing surface oxides and generation of oxygen vacancies, the as-received Ti2SC exhibits higher electrical conductivity and faster lithium ion diffusion. | 19 | Hierarchical porous nanosheets of Co-Mn bimetallic oxide from deep eutectic solvent for highly efficient peroxymonosulfate activation显示文摘The development of highly active catalysts is the key to the successful application of sulfate radical(SO_(4)^(·-))-based advanced oxidation processes(AOPs)to wastewater treatment.Herein,bimetallic oxide CoMn_(2)O_(4)hierarchical porous nanosheets(CoMn_(2)O_(4)HPNSs)were constructed using glucose/urea deep eutectic solvent(DES)as sustainable solvent and self-formed sacrificial carbon templates.The prepared CoMn_(2)O_(4)HPNS exhibited outstanding peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation performance,achieving the rapid degradation of refractory organic compounds in wastewater,including 5-sulfosalicylic acid(100%),acetaminophen(100%),oxtetracycline(100%),and sulfamethoxazole(91%)within 20 min.This excellent performance was attributed not only to the synergistic catalytic effect of Co-Mn bimetals,but also to the hierarchical porous structure which exposes more active sites and accelerates the migration of PMS and organic pollutants.In addition,CoMn_(2)O_(4)HPNS also showed excellent reusability and high stability in multiple cycles of degradation.The active species quenching results and electron paramagnetic resonance measurements revealed that SO_(4)^(·-)greatly contributed to organic degradation,while^(1)O_(2)and·OH also involved.Moreover,a series of other transition metal oxides(Co_(3)O_(4),Fe_(2)O_(3),Mn_(3)O_(4),NiO,and CoFe_(2)O_(4))with hierarchical porous nanosheet structures were successfully fabricated with this method.This study provides a simple,general,and low-cost strategy for fabricating hierarchical porous transition metal oxides,which are promising for the environmental remediation or many other applications in the future. | Jiale Wei Kai Rong Yuchen Wang Ling Liu Youxing Fang Shaojun Dong | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,7: | 0 |
