| 1 | Intelligent and connected vehicles: Current status and future perspectives显示文摘Intelligent connected vehicles(ICVs) are believed to change people's life in the near future by making the transportation safer,cleaner and more comfortable. Although many prototypes of ICVs have been developed to prove the concept of autonomous driving and the feasibility of improving traffic efficiency, there still exists a significant gap before achieving mass production of high-level ICVs. The objective of this study is to present an overview of both the state of the art and future perspectives of key technologies that are needed for future ICVs. It is a challenging task to review all related works and predict their future perspectives, especially for such a complex and interdisciplinary area of research. This article is organized to overview the ICV key technologies by answering three questions: what are the milestones in the history of ICVs; what are the electronic components needed for building an ICV platform; and what are the essential algorithms to enable intelligent driving? To answer the first question, the article has reviewed the history and the development milestones of ICVs. For the second question, the recent technology advances in electrical/electronic architecture, sensors, and actuators are presented. For the third question, the article focuses on the algorithms in decision making, as the perception and control algorithm are covered in the development of sensors and actuators. To achieve correct decision-making, there exist two different approaches: the principle-based approach and data-driven approach. The advantages and limitations of both approaches are explained and analyzed. Currently automotive engineers are concerned more with the vehicle platform technology, whereas the academic researchers prefer to focus on theoretical algorithms. | 3 | A Quantitative Evaluation of Shale Gas Content in Different Occurrence States of the Longmaxi Formation: A New Insight from Well JY-A in the Fuling Shale Gas Field,Sichuan Basin显示文摘Comprehensive quantitative evaluation of shale gas content and the controlling factors in different occurrence states is of great significance for accurately assessing gas-bearing capacity and providing effective well-production strategies. A total of 122 core samples from well JY-A in the Fuling shale gas field were studied to reveal the characteristics of S_1 l shale,15 of which were selected to further predict the shale gas content in different occurrence states, which are dependent on geological factors in the thermal evolution process. Geological parameters were researched by a number of laboratory programs, and the factors influential in controlling shale gas content were extracted by both PCA and GRA methods and prediction models were confirmed by the BE method using SPSS software. Results reveal that the adsorbed gas content is mainly controlled by TOC, Ro, SSA, PD and pyrite content, and the free gas content is mainly controlled by S_2, quartz content, gas saturation and formation pressure for S_1 l in well JY-A. Three methods, including the on-site gas desorption method, the empirical formula method, and the multiple regression analysis method were used in combination to evaluate the shale gas capacity of well JY-A, all of which show that the overall shale gas content of well JY-A is in the range of 2.0–5.0 m^3/t and that the free gas ratio is about 50%, lower than that of well JY-1. | 4 | Possible mechanism underlying analgesic effect of Tuina in rats may involve piezo mechanosensitive channels within dorsal root ganglia axon显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To demonstrate the analgesic effect of Tuina mainly from mechanically sensitive ion channels in peripheral myelinated nerve fibers.METHODS: A total of 40 healthy and pathogen-free adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were used in the study [weight:(220.0 ± 1.4) g, Shanghai Slac Laboratory Animal Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China; license No. Shanghai ICP 05033115]. The rats were housed in cages with free access to water and food in a temperature-controlled room [(22 ± 1) ℃] and12-h/12-h light-dark cycle. Thirty-two rats were randomly divided into five groups: naive, sham, chronic compression of dorsal root ganglion(CCD), Tuina(7 d) and Tuina(21 d). CCD rat model was established via unilateral DRG compression by'L'liked steel bar. Chinese Tuina treatment was accepted once per day. Behavior monitoring of paw withdrawal threshold(PWT) and paw withdrawal latency(PWL) were tested. The expression of Piezo1 and Piezo2 in myelinated nerve fiber were analyzed by immunohistochemistry and Western-blotting.RESULTS: There was a high expression of Piezo2 and a low expression of Piezo1 in the naive and CCD groups. In contrast, the expression of Piezo2 was down regulated and Piezo1 was increased after a period of Tuina. | 6 | m6A RNA methylation-mediated HNF3γreduction renders hepatocellular carcinoma dedifferentiation and sorafenib resistance显示文摘Hepatocyte nuclear factor 3γ(HNF3γ)is a hepatocyte nuclear factor,but its role and clinical significance in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)remain unclear.Herein,we report that HNF3γexpression is downregulated in patient HCC and inversely correlated with HCC malignancy and patient survival.Moreover,our data suggested that the HNF3γreduction in HCC could be mediated by METTL14-dependent m6A methylation of HNF3γmRNA.HNF3γexpression was increased during hepatic differentiation and decreased in dedifferentiated HCC cells.Interestingly,HNF3γdelivery promoted differentiation of not only HCC cells but also liver CSCs,which led to suppression of HCC growth.Mechanistic analysis suggested an HNF3γ-centered regulatory network that includes essential liver differentiation-associated transcription factors and functional molecules,which could synergistically facilitate HCC cell differentiation.More importantly,enforced HNF3γexpression sensitized HCC cells to sorafenib-induced growth inhibition and cell apoptosis through transactivation of OATP1B1 and OATP1B3 expression,which are major membrane transporters for sorafenib uptake.Clinical investigation showed that patient-derived HCC xenografts with high HNF3γexpression exhibited a sorafenib response and patients with high HCC HNF3γlevels benefited from sorafenib therapy.Together,these results suggest that HNF3γplays an essential role in HCC differentiation and may serve as a therapeutic target and predictor of sorafenib benefit in patients. | Tengfei Zhou Shichao Li Daimin Xiang Junyu Liu Wen Sun Xiuliang Cui Beifang Ning Xiao Li Zhuo Cheng Weiqi Jiang Cheng Zhang Xijun Liang Liang Li Xin Cheng Liu Hui Hongyang Wang Jin Ding | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 4 |
| 7 | Semisolid-rolling and annealing process of woven carbon fibers reinforced Al-matrix composites显示文摘Semisolid-rolling method was successfully developed to prepare the Ni-coated woven carbon fibers reinforced Al-matrix composite. Due to the appropriate matrix flowability and rolling pressure, the Al-matrix could infiltrate into the woven fibers sufficiently and attach to the reinforcements closely forming a smooth interface. The rolling speed of 4 rad/min offered a subtle equilibrium between the heat transfer and the material deformation. The covering matrix should be controlled at semisolid state to provide a better infiltration behavior and a protective effect on the carbon fibers. With the addition of fibers, an improvement for more than 25% was obtained in the bending strength of the materials. Furthermore, the woven carbon fibers could strengthen the composite in multiple directions, rather than only along the fiber longitudinal directions. | 9 | Optimization of parameters of Yi Zhi Chan Tuina manipulation promotes peripheral circulation显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore the most effective parameters of Yi Zhi Chan Tuina manipulation for improving peripheral blood circulation.METHODS:A total of 45 volunteers were recruited from Pudong district in Shanghai,China,from October to December 2010,and randomly divided into nine groups using computer-generated random numbers.Participants received Yi Zhi Chan Tuina manipulation on Chengjin(BL 56) acupoint;each group received a particular combination of manipulation force and treatment time.We used a two-factor,three-level factorial design to examine the effects of force and treatment time on changes in popliteal artery average volume flow,pulsatility index,and vessel diameter to determine the optimal parameter group.Outcomes were assessed at baseline and after Tuina manipulation by interviewers blind to treatment group status.RESULTS:After manipulation,two of the nine groups showed an increase in popliteal artery volume flow.An inter-participants effect test showed that for main effect of time,F = 0.331,P = 0.720;for main effect of force,F = 2.934,P = 0.066;and for the force-time interaction effect,F = 1.072,P = 0.385,indicating no interaction between force and time.However,a pairwise comparison of the three levels of time showed that a treatment time of 10 min was significantly more effective than that of 2 min(P = 0.024).A pairwise comparison of light force,medium force,and heavy force showed a statistically significant effect for medium force(P = 0.035).CONCLUSION:Yi Zhi Chan Tuina manipulation with vertical force of 9.31 N for 10 min is most effective in improving peripheral circulation. | Fang Lei Fang Min Jiang Shichao Chen Hua | 2015 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,5: | 3 |

| 12 | Deciphering the contributions of spectral and structural data to wheat yield estimation from proximal sensing显示文摘Accurate, efficient, and timely yield estimation is critical for crop variety breeding and management optimization. However, the contributions of proximal sensing data characteristics(spectral, temporal, and spatial) to yield estimation have not been systematically evaluated. We collected long-term, hypertemporal, and large-volume light detection and ranging(Li DAR) and multispectral data to(i) identify the best machine learning method and prediction stage for wheat yield estimation,(ii) characterize the contribution of multisource data fusion and the dynamic importance of structural and spectral traits to yield estimation, and(iii) elucidate the contribution of time-series data fusion and 3 D spatial information to yield estimation. Wheat yield could be accurately(R^(2)= 0.891) and timely(approximately-two months before harvest) estimated from fused Li DAR and multispectral data. The artificial neural network model and the flowering stage were always the best method and prediction stage, respectively. Spectral traits(such as CIgreen) dominated yield estimation, especially in the early stage, whereas the contribution of structural traits(such as height) was more stable in the late stage. Fusing spectral and structural traits increased estimation accuracy at all growth stages. Better yield estimation was realized from traits derived from complete 3 D points than from canopy surface points and from integrated multi-stage(especially from jointing to heading and flowering stages) data than from single-stage data. | 17 | Claw-shaped flexible and low-impedance conductive polymer electrodes for EEG recordings: Anemone dry electrode显示文摘Electroencephalogram(EEG) signals provide important brain information in healthcare settings. Wet electrodes have several limitations, including their time-consuming preparation and no long-term acquisition, and dry electrodes have become a promising candidate. However, dry electrodes face several challenges related to signal quality, comfort, conductivity and cost.This study aims to develop and evaluate a novel dry electrode for EEG recordings. The electrode material properties are characterized by electrochemical, mechanical force, and skin measurements. The electrode performance is evaluated by comparing the impedance, signal-to-noise ratio(SNR), and EEG signal features of the proposed electrode with those of a wet electrode and two commercial dry electrodes. The dry electrode design is based on the biological structure of the sea anemone and demonstrates an improved scalp fit and reduced signal noise and motion artifacts. The electrode materials include advanced conducting polymers combined with thermoplastic elastomers(TPEs) and carbon nanotubes(CNTs), which exhibit good electrical conductivity, mechanical properties, and safety. A low-cost injection molding fabrication method is proposed. The dry electrodes show a scalp contact impedance of 7 kΩ at 20 Hz, which is lower than that of wet and commercial dry electrodes.Resting-state EEG and event-related potential signals collected by the anemone dry electrode achieved more than 90% similarity with signals acquired by wet electrodes. Thus, a low-cost, comfortable anemone dry electrode that exhibits excellent EEG recording performance is presented. | 20 | A new method of searching for concealed Au deposits by using the spectrum of arid desert plant species显示文摘With the increase of exploration depth,it is more and more difficult to find Au deposits.Due to the limitation of time and cost,traditional geological exploration methods are becoming increasingly difficult to be effectively applied.Thus,new methods and ideas are urgently needed.This study assessed the feasibility and effectiveness of using hyperspectral technology to prospect for hidden Au deposits.For this purpose,48 plant(Seriphidium terrae-albae)and soil(aeolian gravel desert soil)samples were first collected along a sampling line that traverses an Au mineralization alteration zone(Aketasi mining region in an arid region of China)and were used to obtain soil Au contents by a chemical analysis method and the reflectance spectra of plants obtained with an Analytical Spectral Device(ASD)FieldSpec3 spectrometer.Then,the corresponding relationship between the soil Au content anomaly and concealed Au deposits was investigated.Additionally,the characteristic bands were selected from plant spectra using four different methods,namely,genetic algorithm(GA),stepwise regression analysis(STE),competitive adaptive reweighted sampling(CARS),and correlation coefficient method(CC),and were then input into the partial least squares(PLS)method to construct a model for estimating the soil Au content.Finally,the quantitative relationship between the soil Au content and the 15 different plant transformation spectra was established using the PLS method.The results were compared with those of a model based on the full spectrum.The results obtained in this study indicate that the location of concealed Au deposits can be predicted based on soil geochemical anomaly information,and it is feasible and effective to use the full plant spectrum and PLS method to estimate the Au content in the soil.The cross-validated coefficient of determination(R2)and the ratio of the performance to deviation(RPD)between the predicted value and the measured value reached the maximum of 0.8218 and 2.37,respectively,with a minimum value of 6.56μg/kg for the root-mean-squared error(RMSE)in the full spectrum model.However,in the process of modeling,it is crucial to select the appropriate transformation spectrum as the input parameter for the PLS method.Compared with the GA,STE,and CC methods,CARS was the superior characteristic band screening method based on the accuracy and complexity of the model.When modeling with characteristic bands,the highest accuracy,R2 of 0.8016,RMSE of 7.07μg/kg,and RPD of 2.20 were obtained when 56 characteristic bands were selected from the transformed spectra(1/lnR)'(where it represents the first derivative of the reciprocal of the logarithmic spectrum)of sampled plants using the CARS method and were input into the PLS method to construct an inversion model of the Au content in the soil.Thus,characteristic bands can replace the full spectrum when constructing a model for estimating the soil Au content.Finally,this study proposes a method of using plant spectra to find concealed Au deposits,which may have promising application prospects because of its simplicity and rapidity. | CUI Shichao ZHOU Kefa ZHANG Guanbin DING Rufu WANG Jinlin CHENG Yinyi JIANG Guo | 2021 | Journal of Arid Land2021,13,11: | 0 |
