1NiPS_(3)quantum sheets modified nitrogen-doped mesoporous carbon with boosted bifunctional oxygen electrocatalytic performance显示文摘Electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reactions(ORR)and oxygen evolution reactions(OER)are highly crucial and challenging toward the energy storage and conversion technologies such as fuel cells,metal-air batteries and water electrolysis.To replace noble-metal based catalysts and boost catalytic performance of carbon-based materials,we initially develop the nickel,phospho rus,sulfur and nitrogen co-modified mesoporous carbon(NiPS_(3)@NMC)as a bifunctional oxygen electrocatalyst.The perfo rmance for ORR(half-wave potential at 0.90 V)and OER(10 mA cm^(-2)at 1.48 V)surpasses those of Pt/C coupled with IrO_(2)catalysts and most of the non-precious metal based bifunctional electrocatalysts reported in related literature.Moreover,the electrochemical durability is also confirmed by accelerated durability tests(ADTs)and long-term chronoamperometry(CA)tests.We demonstrated that the interfacial effect between NiPS_(3)quantum sheets(QS s)and NMC substrates by thermal activation contributed to the enhanced oxygen electrode bifunctionality with more active sites,due to the electrons-donating from nickel,phosphorus and sulfur elements and relatively enriched pyridinic type N.Such excellent overall performance highlights the potential application of NiPS3 QSs and NMC composites as the materials on energy conversion and storage.Kai Huang Yuyang Xu Yanpeng Song Ruyue Wanga Hehe Wei Yuanzheng Long Ming Lei Haolin Tang Jiangang Guo Hui Wu 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,6:7
2Skp2 dictates cell cycle-dependent metabolic oscillation between glycolysis and TCA cycle显示文摘Whether glucose is predomi nantly metabolized via oxidative phosphorylati on or glycolysis differs between quiesce nt versus proliferating cells,iincluding tumor cells.However,how glucose metabolism is coordinated with cell cycle in mammalian cells remains elusive.Here,we report that mammalian cells predominantly utilize the tricarboxylic acid(TCA)cycle in G1 phase,but prefer glycolysis in S phase.Mechanistically,coupling cell cycle with metabolism is largely achieved by timely destruction of IDH1/2,key TCA cycle enzymes,in a Skp2-dependent manner.As such,depleting SKP2 abolishes cell cycle-dependent fluctuation of IDH1 protein abundance,leading to reduced glycolysis in S phase.Furthermore,elevated Skp2 abundance in prostate cancer cells destabilizes IDH1 to favor glycolysis and subsequent tumorigenesis.Therefore,our study reveals a mechanistic link between two cancer hallmarks,aberrant cell cycle and addiction to glycolysis,and provides the underlying mechanism for the coupling of metabolic fluctuation with periodic cell cycle in mammalian cells.Jing Liu Yunhua Peng Le Shi Lixin Wan Hiroyuki Inuzuka Jiangang Long Jianping Guo Jinfang Zhang Min Yuan Shuangxi Zhang Xun Wang Jing Gao Xiangpeng Dai Shozo Furumoto Lijun Jia Pier Paolo Pandolfic John M.Asara William G.Kaelin Jr. Jjankang Liu Wenyi Wei 2021Cell Research2021,31,1:2

9Quantitative Seismicity Analysis for the Risk of Historical Large Earthquake Rupture Zone:Application to the Mid-North Segment of the North-South Seismic Belt显示文摘Although seismic gap theory plays an important role in the med-and long-term earthquake prediction,the potential risk of the non-seismic gap in historical earthquake rupture areas will need to be simultaneously taken into account in the study of med-and long-term earthquake prediction,due to the temporally clustering or non-linear behavior of large earthquake recurrence.In order to explore technical methods which can be based on observational data,and identify historical earthquake rupture zones( including the seismic gap in historical and prehistoric earthquake rupture zones),we select eight historical large earthquake rupture zones with different elapsed times on the mid-north segment of the North-South Seismic Belt to make quantitative analysis on the characteristics of modern seismicity of these zones and preliminarily explore the seismicity method for determining the urgency degree of potential earthquake hazards.The results mainly show that the pvalue,which reflects the attenuation of earthquake sequence,and the a-value,which reflects the seismicity rate,are strongly related to the elapsed time of the latest earthquake in the rupture zone.However,the corresponding relationships in some rupture areas are not clear perhaps due to the complex fault structure and faulting behavior.The b-value,which represents the state of tectonic stress accumulation,does not easily reflect the elapsed time information of different evolution stages.The b-value temporal scanning shows a steady evolution over time in most of the rupture zones,but in the rupture zone of the Wudu M8.0 earthquake of 1879,the b-value shows significant fluctuations with a decreasing trend for 20 years.By comparative analysis,we conclude that the rupture zones of the 1933 M7.5 Maoxian earthquake and the 1976 M7.2 Songpan-Pingwu earthquake are still in the decaying period of earthquake sequences,and thus do not have the background for recurrence of M7.0 earthquakes.The low b-value Maqu segment,which is located at the north margin of the rupture zone of the 842A.D.M7.0 Diebu earthquake,is more dangerous than the Diebu segment.The continuous decline of the b-value in the 1879 M8.0 Wudu earthquake rupture zone may also indicate a new round of seismogenic process.Long Feng Jiang Changsheng Feng Jiangang Tang Lanlan 2013Earthquake Research in China2013,27,3:0
