1Security information factor based airborne radar RF stealth显示文摘Radar radio frequency(RF) stealth is very important in electronic war(EW), and waveform design and selection. Existing evaluation rules of radar RF stealth include too many parameters of radar and interceptors, such as Schleher interception factor,which makes it difficult to evaluate radar RF stealth technologies if interceptor parameters are unknown. In communication, security capacity has been presented to describe the possible ability to communicate in complete security. Since the essential of the security capacity is to have the interceptor get none valued information from the emitter, this paper is proposed to study security information factors taking advantage of mutual information to evaluate radar RF stealth under some conditions. Through analyzing mutual information obtained by the radar and the interceptor, this paper defines the security information factor with and without cooperative jamming. Furthermore, this paper deduces the ratio of the match filter to the match incoherent filter and discuss mutual information received by the interceptor. 3Photo-Isomerization Energy Storage Using Azobenzene and Nanoscale Templates: A Topical Review显示文摘Azobenzene(AZO) has attached tremendous attention in the field of photo-isomerization energy storage due to its advantages of absorbing light in ultraviolet-visible range and reversible isomerization. However, the issues of low energy density and short half-lifetime restrict the further development of AZO. Therefore, a method, by preparing hybrid photo-isomerization energy storage materials using nanoscale templates, was proposed to handle the above two issues. In this paper, a summary of hybrid photo-isomerization energy storage materials with AZO and nanoscale templates is conducted from the aspects of templates, preparation methods, derivatives and applications. The performances of template candidates, i.e. carbon nanotubes(CNTs) and graphene(GO) are reviewed and compared based on the analysis of grafting density, energy density, and half-lifetime of hybrid materials. Then, two major preparation methods of AZO hybrid materials including non-covalent and covalent functionalizations are discussed. Furthermore, the studies on AZO derivatives functionalized on nanoscale templates are summarized to further point to the direction of derivatization towards high performance AZO-functionalized materials. 4Flexible temperature sensor with high sensitivity ranging from liquid nitrogen temperature to 1200℃显示文摘Flexible temperature sensors have been extensively investigated due to their prospect of wide application in various flexible electronic products.However,most of the current flexible temperature sensors only work well in a narrow temperature range,with their application at high or low temperatures still being a big challenge.This work proposes a flexible thermocouple temperature sensor based on aerogel blanket substrate,the temperature-sensitive layer of which uses the screen-printing technology to prepare indium oxide and indium tin oxide.It has good temperature sensitivity,with the test sensitivity reaching 226.7μV℃^(−1).Most importantly,it can work in a wide temperature range,from extremely low temperatures down to liquid nitrogen temperature to high temperatures up to 1200℃,which is difficult to be achieved by other existing flexible temperature sensors.This temperature sensor has huge application potential in biomedicine,aerospace and other fields.Zhaojun Liu Bian Tian Zhuangde Jiang Shuimin Li Jiaming Lei Zhongkai Zhang Jiangjiang Liu Peng Shi Qijing Lin 2023International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2023,5,1:1
5All-Day Thermogalvanic Cells for Environmental Thermal Energy Harvesting显示文摘Direct conversion of the tremendous and ubiquitous low-grade thermal energy into electricity by thermogalvanic cells is a promising strategy for energy harvesting.The environment is one of the richest and renewable low-grade thermal source.However,critical challenges remain for all-day electricity generation from environmental thermal energy due to the low frequency and small amplitude of temperature fluctuations in the environment.In this work,we report a tandem device consisting of a polypyrrole(PPy)broadband absorber/radiator,thermogalvanic cell,and thermal storage material(Cu foam/PEG1000)that integrates multiple functions of heating,cooling,and recycling of thermal energy.The thermogalvanic cell enables continuous utilization of environmental thermal energy at both daytime and nighttime,yielding maximum outputs as high as 0.6 W m^(-2) and 53 mW m^(-2),respectively.As demonstrated outdoors by a large-scale prototype module,this design offers a feasible and promising approach to all-day electricity generation from environmental thermal energy.Boyang Yu Jiangjiang Duan Jia Li Wenke Xie Hongrun Jin Rong Liu Hui Wang Liang Huang Bin Hu Jun Zhou 2019Research2019,,1:1
6A microchip to analyze single crystal growth and size-controllability显示文摘A microfluidic device to control single crystallization on the micron scale has been developed. The salt solution was stored in the nano-volume gaps between the arrays of protrudent circular plots in the microchip. The mixed organic solvent was injected into the chip as the counter diffusion phase for crystallization forming. This device provides a liquid-liquid interface through which only one phase flows while the other stays at the fixed plot. Therefore, it is possible to control the position of crystallization on the fixed plot. We can control the size and the uniformity of single crystals from 5 to 50 μm in length by adjusting the relative factors, such as interface lifetime, breeds of the mix-organic solvents and injecting velocities. The longer interface lifetime and lower organic solvent injecting velocities can bring up larger and more asymmetric crystals, which nearly shows the same trend compared with the macroscopic crystallization. Finally, the effect of the surfactant on the crystallization in the microdevice was studied. 7A large-area bionic skin for high-temperature energy harvesting applications显示文摘For the large amount of waste heat wasted in daily life and industrial production,we propose a new type of flexible thermoelectric generators(F-TEGs)which can be used as a large area bionic skin to achieve energy harvesting of thermal energy.With reference to biological structures such as pinecone,succulent,and feathers,we have designed and fabricated a biomimetic flexible TEG that can be applied in a wide temperature range which has the highest temperature energy harvesting capability currently.The laminated free structure of the bionic F-TEG dramatically increases the efficiency and density of energy harvesting.The F-TEGs(single TEG only 101.2 mg in weight),without an additional heat sink,demonstrates the highest output voltage density of 286.1 mV/cm^(2)and the maximum power density is 66.5 mW/m^(2) at a temperature difference of nearly 1000℃.The flexible characteristics of F-TEGs make it possible to collect the diffused thermal energy by flexible attachment to the outer walls of high-temperature pipes and vessels of different diameters and shapes.This work shows a new design and application concept for flexible thermal energy collectors,which fills the gap of flexible energy harvesting in high-temperature environment.Zhaojun Liu Bian Tian Yao Li Jiaming Lei Zhongkai Zhang Jiangjiang Liu Qijing Lin Chengkuo Lee Zhuangde Jiang 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
8Highly sensitive flexible heat flux sensor based on a microhole array for ultralow to high temperatures显示文摘With the growing demand for thermal management of electronic devices,cooling of high-precision instruments,and biological cryopreservation,heat flux measurement of complex surfaces and at ultralow temperatures has become highly imperative.However,current heat flux sensors(HFSs)are commonly used in high-temperature scenarios and have problems when applied in low-temperature conditions,such as low sensitivity and embrittlement.In this study,we developed a flexible and highly sensitive HFS that can operate at ultralow to high temperatures,ranging from−196°C to 273°C.The sensitivities of HFSs with thicknesses of 0.2 mm and 0.3 mm,which are efficiently manufactured by the screen-printing method,reach 11.21μV/(W/m2)and 13.43μV/(W/m2),respectively.The experimental results show that there is a less than 3%resistance change from bending to stretching.Additionally,the HFS can measure heat flux in both exothermic and absorptive cases and can measure heat flux up to 25 kW/m2.Additionally,we demonstrate the application of the HFS to the measurement of minuscule heat flux,such as heat dissipation of human skin and cold water.This technology is expected to be used in heat flux measurements at ultralow temperatures or on complex surfaces,which has great importance in the superconductor and cryobiology field.Le Li Bian Tian Zhongkai Zhang Meng Shi Jiangjiang Liu Zhaojun Liu Jiaming Lei Shuimin Li Qijing Lin Libo Zhao Zhuangde Jiang 2023Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,5:0

11Meshless Surface Wind Speed Field Reconstruction Based on Machine Learning显示文摘We propose a novel machine learning approach to reconstruct meshless surface wind speed fields,i.e.,to reconstruct the surface wind speed at any location,based on meteorological background fields and geographical information.The random forest method is selected to develop the machine learning data reconstruction model(MLDRM-RF)for wind speeds over Beijing from 2015-19.We use temporal,geospatial attribute and meteorological background field features as inputs.The wind speed field can be reconstructed at any station in the region not used in the training process to cross-validate model performance.The evaluation considers the spatial distribution of and seasonal variations in the root mean squared error(RMSE)of the reconstructed wind speed field across Beijing.The average RMSE is 1.09 m s^(−1),considerably smaller than the result(1.29 m s^(−1))obtained with inverse distance weighting(IDW)interpolation.Finally,we extract the important feature permutations by the method of mean decrease in impurity(MDI)and discuss the reasonableness of the model prediction results.MLDRM-RF is a reasonable approach with excellent potential for the improved reconstruction of historical surface wind speed fields with arbitrary grid resolutions.Such a model is needed in many wind applications,such as wind energy and aviation safety assessments.Nian LIU Zhongwei YAN Xuan TONG Jiang JIANG Haochen LI Jiangjiang XIA Xiao LOU Rui REN Yi FANG 2022Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,10:0

13Improvement of leaf K^(+) retention is a shared mechanism behind CeO_(2) and Mn_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles improved rapeseed salt tolerance显示文摘Salinity is a global issue limiting efficient agricultural production.Nanobiotechnology has been emerged as an effective approach to improve plant salt tolerance.However,little known is about the shared mechanisms between different nanomaterials-enabled plant salt tolerance.In this study,we found that both PNC[polyacrylic acid coated nanoceria(CeO_(2) nanoparticles)]and PMO(polyacrylic acid coated Mn_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles)nanozymes improved rapeseed salt tolerance.PNC and PMO treated rapeseed plants showed significantly fresh weight,dry weight,higher chlorophyll content,Fv/Fm,and carbon assimilation rate than control plants under salt stress.Results from confocal imaging with reactive oxygen species(ROS)fluorescent dye and histochemical staining experiments showed that the ROS over-accumulation level in PNC and PMO treated rapeseed was significantly lower than control plants under salt stress.Confocal imaging results with K+fluorescent dye showed that significantly higher cytosolic and vacu-olar K^(+) signals were observed in PNC and PMO treated rapeseed than control plants under salt stress.This is further confirmed by leaf K^(+) content data.Furthermore,we found that PNC and PMO treated rapeseed showed significantly lower cytosolic Na^(+) signals than control plants under salt stress.While,compared with significantly higher vacuolar Na^(+) signals in PNC treated plants,PMO treated rapeseed showed significantly lower vacuolar Na^(+) signals than control plants under salt stress.These results are further supported by qPCR results of genes of Na^(+) and K^(+) transport.Overall,our results suggest that besides maintaining ROS homeostasis,improvement of leaf K^(+) retention could be a shared mechanism in nano-improved plant salt tolerance.Yanhui Li Jin Hu Jie Qi Fameng Zhao Jiahao Liu Linlin Chen Lu Chen Jiangjiang Gu Honghong Wu Zhaohu Li 2022Stress Biology2022,2,1:0

15Phenotypical and gene co-expression network analyses of seed shattering in divergent sorghum(Sorghum spp.)显示文摘Sorghum[Sorghum bicolor(L.)Moench],a multipurpose C4 crop,is also a model species of the Poaceae family for plant research.During the process of domestication,the modification of seed dispersal mode is considered a key event,as the loss of seed shattering caused a significant increase in yield.In order to understand the seed shattering process in sorghum,we further studied eight previously identified divergent sorghum germplasm with different shattering degrees.We described their phenotypes in great detail,analyzed the histology of abscission zone,and conducted a gene co-expression analysis.We observed that the abscission layer of the most strong-shattering varieties began to differentiate before the 5-10 cm panicles development stage and was completely formed at flag leaf unfolding.The protective cells on the pedicels were also fully lignified by flowering.Through the weighted gene correlation network analysis(WGCNA),we mined for candidate genes involved in the abscission process at the heading stage.We found that these genes were mainly associated with such biological processes as hormone signal transmission(SORBI_3003G361300,SORBI_3006G216500,SORBI_3009G027800,SORBI_3007G077200),cell wall modification and degradation(SORBI_3002G205500,SORBI_3004G013800,SORBI_3010G022400,SORBI_3003G251800,SORBI_3003G254700,SORBI_3003G410800,SORBI_3009G162700,SORBI_3001G406700,SORBI_3004G042700,SORBI_3004G244600,SORBI_3001G099100),and lignin synthesis(SORBI_3004G220700,SORBI_3004G062500,SORBI_3010G214900,SORBI_3009G181800).Our study has provided candidate genes required for shedding for further study.We believe that function characterization of these genes may provide insight into our understanding of seed shattering process.Xin Xiao Mengjiao Zhu Yishan Liu Jingru Zheng Yiping Cui Candong Xiong Jiangjiang Liu Jun Chen Hongwei Cai 2023The Crop Journal2023,11,2:0
