| 2 | Hybrid superhydrophilic-superhydrophobic micro/nanostructures fabricated by femtosecond laserinduced forward transfer for sub-femtomolar Raman detection显示文摘Raman spectroscopy plays a crucial role in biochemical analysis.Recently,superhydrophobic surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)substrates have enhanced detection limits by concentrating target molecules into small areas.However,due to the wet transition phenomenon,further reduction of the droplet contact area is prevented,and the detection limit is restricted.This paper proposes a simple method involving femtosecond laser-induced forward transfer for preparing a hybrid superhydrophilic–superhydrophobic SERS(HS-SERS)substrate by introducing a superhydrophilic pattern to promote the target molecules to concentrate on it for ultratrace detection.Furthermore,the HS-SERS substrate is heated to promote a smaller concentrated area.The water vapor film formed by the contact of the solution with the substrate overcomes droplet collapse,and the target molecules are completely concentrated into the superhydrophilic region without loss during evaporation.Finally,the concentrated region is successfully reduced,and the detection limit is enhanced.The HS-SERS substrate achieved a final contact area of 0.013mm2,a 12.1-fold decrease from the unheated case.The reduction of the contact area led to a detection limit concentration as low as 10−16 M for a Rhodamine 6G solution.In addition,the HS-SERS substrate accurately controlled the size of the concentrated areas through the superhydrophilic pattern,which can be attributed to the favorable repeatability of the droplet concentration results.In addition,the preparation method is flexible and has the potential for fluid mixing,fluid transport,and biochemical sensors,etc. | Xiaodan Ma Lan Jiang Xiaowei Li Bohong Li Ji Huang Jiaxing Sun Zhi Wang Zhijie Xu Liangti Qu Yongfeng Lu Tianhong Cui | 2019 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2019,5,1: | 3 |
| 3 | Grazing alters environmental control mechanisms of evapotranspiration in an alpine meadow of the tibetan Plateau显示文摘Aims Evapotranspiration(Et)is an important component of the terrestrial water cycle and is easily affected by external disturbances,such as climate change and grazing.Identifying Et responses to grazing is instructive for determining grazing activity and informative for understanding the water cycle.Methods this study utilized 2 years(2014 and 2017)of eddy covariance data to test how grazing regulated Et for an alpine meadow ecosystem on the tibetan Plateau(tP)by path analysis.Important Findings Radiation dominated Et with a decision coefficient of 64-74%.the soil water content(SWc)worked as the limiting factor in the fenced site.However,in the grazing site,the limiting factor was the vapor pressure deficit(VPD).Grazing had large effects on Et because it greatly affected the water conditions.the SWc and VPD were enhanced by 14.63%and 4.36%in the grazing site,respectively.therefore,sufficient water was supplied to Et,especially during drought,and strengthened the transpiration pull.As a result,a favorable micrometeorological environment was created for Et.Grazing shifted the limiting factor of Et from the SWc to VPD,which weakened the limiting effect of the water conditions on Et and advanced the Et peak time.In addition,grazing altered the compositions of Et by changing the community structure,which directly resulted in an increased Et.In summary,grazing enhanced Et through altering the community structure and micrometeorological environments.the findings of this study further improve our understanding of the driving mechanisms of grazing on Et and will improve our predictions for the global water cycle. | Tingting An Mingjie Xu Tao Zhang Chengqun Yu Yingge Li Ning Chen Jiaxing Zu Junxiang Li Juntao Zhu Yi Sun Tingting Zhao Guirui Yu | 2019 | Journal of Plant Ecology2019,12,5: | 3 |

| 14 | Polarization assisted self-powered GaN-based UV photodetector with high responsivity显示文摘In this work, a self-powered GaN-based metal-semiconductor-metal photodetector(MSM PD) with high responsivity has been proposed and fabricated. The proposed MSM PD forms an asymmetric feature by using the polarization effect under one electrode, such that we adopt an AlGaN/GaN heterojunction to produce the electric field,and by doing so, an asymmetric energy band between the two electrodes can be obtained even when the device is unbiased. The asymmetric feature is proven by generating the asymmetric current-voltage characteristics both in the dark and the illumination conditions. Our results show that the asymmetric energy band enables the selfpowered PD, and the peak responsivity wavelength is 240 nm with the responsivity of 0.005 A/W. Moreover, a high responsivity of 13.56 A/W at the applied bias of 3 V is also achieved. | 16 | Aerosol characterization in a city in central China plain and implications for emission control显示文摘Extensive studies on aerosol chemistry have been carried out in megacities in China,however,aerosol characterization in Central China Plain(CCP)is limited.Here we conducted real-time measurements of fine particle composition with a time-of-flight aerosol chemical speciation monitor in Kaifeng,Henan province in October 2019.Our results showed that nitrate and organics constituted the major fraction of non-refractory PM_(2.5)for the entire study,on average accounting for 34%and 33%,respectively.However,aerosol composition was substantially different among four periods due to different meteorological conditions and chemical processing.For instance,nitrate presented the lowest contribution during the first period due to evaporative loss associated with high temperature(T),and then rapidly increased during polluted periods as a function of relative humidity(RH).Positive matrix factorization analysis showed the dominance of secondary organic aerosol(SOA)in OA,and also the changes in OA composition under different T and RH levels.In addition,this study is unique with two periods of local emission controls.Back trajectory and coefficient of divergence analysis showed that air pollution in CCP was overall homogeneously distributed.As a result,the effectiveness of local emission controls in this region was strongly affected by meteorological conditions and regional transport.We found that one of the periods with emission control even showed the highest concentrations for the entire study.Our results point towards the limited effect of local emission controls in mitigating air pollution in CCP,and highlight the importance of joint emission controls under unfavorable meteorological conditions. | Zhijie Li Lu Lei Yanpei Li Chun Chen Qingqing Wang Wei Zhou Jiaxing Sun Conghui Xie Yele Sun | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,6: | 1 |

| 18 | Optimization Algorithms for Fully Automatic Optimizing Cross-cut Saw显示文摘The optimization of boards by grades plays an important role in the production for cross cutting boards, and the outturn rate and utilization of boards are directly affected by the optimization results of boards by grades. At present, the OptiCut series fully automatic optimizing cross-cut saw(FAOCCS) from Germany Weinig Group occupies the main markets in the world, but no report about the relative theories on the optimization technology and its algorithms is available. There exist some disadvantages in woodworking machinery and equipment used for cross cutting boards in China, for example, low sawing precision, outturn rate of boards and productivity, and difficulty in making statistics on the sawing results. Three optimization modes are presented for the optimization algorithms for FAOCCS, namely, optimization of fixed length, optimization of finger-jointed lumber and mixed optimization. Mathematical models are then established for these three optimization modes, and the corresponding software for realizing the optimization is prepared. Finally, Synthetic evaluation on the established mathematical models is presented through three practical examples. The results of synthetic evaluation indicate that FAOCCS using the optimization modes may raise the outturn rate of boards approximately 8% and the productivity obviously, and allows accurate statistics on the cross cut products of boards.
