1Iron toxicity, lipid peroxidation and ferroptosis after intracerebral haemorrhage显示文摘Intracerebral haemorrhage (ICH) is a devastating type of stroke with high mortality and morbidity. However, we have few options for ICH therapy and limited knowledge about post-ICH neuronal death and related mechanisms. In the aftermath of ICH, iron overload within the perihaematomal region can induce lethal reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and lipid peroxidation, which contribute to secondary brain injury. Indeed, iron chelation therapy has shown efficacy in preclinical ICH studies. Recently, an iron-dependent form of non-apoptotic cell death known as ferroptosis was identified. It is characterised by an accumulation of iron-induced lipid ROS, which leads to intracellular oxidative stress. The ROS cause damage to nucleic acids, proteins and lipid membranes, and eventually cell death. Recently, we and others discovered that ferroptosis does occur after haemorrhagic stroke in vitro and in vivo and contributes to neuronal death. Inhibition of ferroptosis is beneficial in several in vivo and in vitro ICH conditions. This minireview summarises current research on iron toxicity, lipid peroxidation and ferroptosis in the pathomechanisms of ICH, the underlying molecular mechanisms of ferroptosis and the potential for combined therapeutic strategies. 2Progress in Semi-arid Climate Change Studies in China显示文摘This article reviews recent progress in semi-arid climate change research in China.Results indicate that the areas of semiarid regions have increased rapidly during recent years in China,with an increase of 33%during 1994-2008 compared to 1948-62.Studies have found that the expansion rate of semi-arid areas over China is nearly 10 times higher than that of arid and sub-humid areas,and is mainly transformed from sub-humid/humid regions.Meanwhile,the greatest warming during the past 100 years has been observed over semi-arid regions in China,and mainly induced by radiatively forced processes.The intensity of the regional temperature response over semi-arid regions has been amplified by land-atmosphere interactions and human activities.The decadal climate variation in semi-arid regions is modulated by oceanic oscillations,which induce land-sea and north-south thermal contrasts and affect the intensities of westerlies,planetary waves and blocking frequencies.In addition,the drier climates in semi-arid regions across China are also associated with the weakened East Asian summer monsoon in recent years.Moreover,dust aerosols in semi-arid regions may have altered precipitation by affecting the local energy and hydrological cycles.Finally,semi-arid regions in China are projected to continuously expand in the 21st century,which will increase the risk of desertification in the near future.Jianping HUANG Jieru MA Xiaodan GUAN Yue LI Yongli HE 2019Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2019,36,9:15
3Pd/activated carbon sorbents for mid-temperature capture of mercury from coal-derived fuel gas显示文摘Higher concentrations of Hg can be emitted from coal pyrolysis or gasification than from coal combustion, especially elemental Hg. Highly efficient Hg removal technology from coal-derived fuel gas is thus of great importance. Based on the very excellent Hg removal ability of Pd and the high adsorption abilities of activated carbon(AC) for H2 S and Hg, a series of Pd/AC sorbents was prepared by using pore volume impregnation, and their performance in capturing Hg and H2 S from coal-derived fuel gas was investigated using a laboratory-scale fixed-bed reactor. The effects of loading amount, reaction temperature and reaction atmosphere on Hg removal from coal-derived fuel gas were studied. The sorbents were characterized by N2 adsorption, X-ray diffraction(XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The results indicated that the efficiency of Hg removal increased with the increasing of Pd loading amount, but the effective utilization rate of the active component Pd decreased significantly at the same time. High temperature had a negative influence on the Hg removal. The efficiency of Hg removal in the N2–H2S–H2–CO–Hg atmosphere(simulated coal gas) was higher than that in N2–H2S–Hg and N2–Hg atmospheres, which showed that H2 and CO, with their reducing capacity, could benefit promote the removal of Hg. 4Evaluation of PCDD/Fs and metals emission from a circulating fluidized bed incinerator co-combusting sewage sludge with coal显示文摘The emission characteristics of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) and heavy metals were evaluated during co-combustion of sewage sludge with coal from a circulating fluidized bed incinerator. The stack gas, slag and fly ash samples were sampled and analyzed. The gas-cleaning system consisted of electrostatic precipitators and a semi-dry scrubber. Results showed that the stack gas and fly ash exhibited mean dioxin levels of 9.4 pg I-TEQ/Nm 3 and 11.65 pg I-TEQ/g, respectively, and showed great similarities in congener profiles. By contrast, the slag presented a mean dioxin level of 0.15 pg I-TEQ/g and a remarkable difference in congener profiles compared with those of the stack gas and fly ash. Co-combusting sewage sludge with coal was able to reduce PCDD/Fs emissions significantly in comparison with sewage sludge mono-combustion. The leaching levels of Hg, Pb, Cd, Ni, Cr, Cu, and As in the fly ash and slag were much lower than the limits of the environmental protection standard in China. 6LeCDJ1,a chloroplast DnaJ protein,facilitates heat tolerance in transgenic tomatoes显示文摘The roles of a tomato(Lycopersicon esculentum) chloroplast-targeted DnaJ protein(LeCDJ1) were investigated using wild-type(WT) and sense transgenic tomatoes. The LeCDJ1 expression was upregulated by 38 °C, 42 °C, 45 °C, NaCl, PEG, methyl viologen(MV) and hydrogen peroxide(H2 O2), but not by 30 °C and 35 °C. Meanwhile, LeCDJ1 was involved in the response of plants to abscisic acid(ABA). Under heat stress, the sense plants showed better growth, higher chlorophyll content, lower malondialdehyde(MDA) accumulation and relative electrical conductivity(REC), and also less PSII photoinhibition than WT. Interestingly, the sense plants treated with streptomycin(SM), an inhibitor of organellar translation, still showed higher maximum photochemistry efficiency of PSII(Fv/Fm) and D1 protein levels than the SM-untreated WT, suggesting that the protective effect of LeCDJ1 on PSII was, at least partially, independent of D1protein synthesis. Furthermore, the relatively lower superoxide radical(O2·-) and H2 O2 levels in the sense plants were considered to be due to the higher ascorbate peroxidase(APX) and superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity, which seemed unlikely dependent on their transcription level. 7Discovery of fossil monocotyledons from Yixian Formation, western Liaoning显示文摘This is the first reports of a few fossil monocotyledons, including \%Liaoxia chenii\% gen. et sp. nov. (belonging to Cyperaceae), \%Eragrosites changii\% gen. et sp. nov. (Gramineae) and a monocotyledonous leaf_shoot, obtained from the Late Jurassic Yixian Formation of western Liaoning Province, NE China. These fossils are the oldest known angiosperms in the world. 8Impact of oceans on climate change in drylands显示文摘Drylands account for approximately 41% of the global total land area. Significant warming and rare precipitation in drylands result in a fragile ecology and deterioration of the living environment, making it more sensitive to global climate change. As an important regulator of the Earth's climate system, the oceans play a vital role in the process of climate change in drylands. In modern climate change in particular, the impact of marine activities on climate change in drylands cannot be neglected. This paper reviews the characteristics of climate change in drylands over the past 100 years, and summarizes the researches conducted on the impact of marine activities on these changes. The review focuses on the impact of the Pacific Decadal Oscillation(PDO), Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation(AMO), El Ni?o and La Ni?a on climate change in drylands, and introduces the mechanisms by which different oceanic oscillation factors synergistically affect climate change in drylands.Studies have shown that global drylands have experienced a significant intensification in warming in the past 100 years, which shows obvious characteristics of interdecadal dry/wet variations. The characteristics of these changes are closely related to the oscillatory factors of the oceanic interdecadal scale. Different phase combinations of oceanic oscillation factors significantly change the land-sea thermal contrast, which in turn affects the westerly jet, planetary wave and blocking frequency, resulting in changes in the temperature and dry/wet characteristics of drylands. 9Variation of toxic pollutants emission during a feeding cycle from an updraft fixed bed gasifier for disposing rural solid waste显示文摘The variation of toxic pollutants emission during a feeding cycle was examined by field monitoring from a batch feeding updraft fixed bed gasifier for disposing rural domestic solid waste. Results showed that the content of oxygen in flue gas gradually increased, while SO_2 and HCl in flue gas decreased with time after feeding in a whole feeding cycle. Although large amount of CO was produced during the gasifying, low CO content in flue gas could be obtained after the heat treatment with an electric heating device. The distribution characteristics of dioxin congeners in flue gas indicted the re-synthesis of dioxins after flue gas heating, and the increase of oxygen promoted the synthesis of dioxins. The emission content of dioxins could meet the standard(0.1 ng I-TEQ·m^(-3),GB18458-2014) of China when the oxygen content was controlled below 8.3%. 11Development of a method to quantify total and free irinotecan and 7-ethyl-10-hydroxycamptothecin(SN-38) for pharmacokinetic and bio-distribution studies after administration of irinotecan liposomal formulation显示文摘In 2015,liposomal formulation of irinotecan(ONIVYDE)has been approved by FDA and widely applied in the treatment of pancreatic cancer.ONIVYDE is a novel liposome formulation,entrapping CPT-11 in the aqueous core of vesicles using a modified gradient loading method.Due to toxicity concerns,it is essential to explore a rapid and reliable method to effectively isolate and quantify the non-liposomal,namely,free CPT-11and total CPT-11 in plasma.This study focuses on separation of non-liposomal CPT-11,evaluation of the pharmacokinetics of free CPT-11 and total CPT-11 and bio-distribution after intravenous administration of CPT-11 liposome.Free CPT-11 in plasma was separated by solid-phase extraction(SPE).The amount of total CPT-11 and main metabolite 7-ethyl-10-hydroxycamptothecin(SN-38)in plasma was quantified by ultra-performance liquid chromatography–MS/MS.The calibration curves fitted well and lower limit of quantitation for SN-38,free CPT-11,total CPT-11 and CPT-11 in tissue and were 5 ng/ml,10 ng/ml,4.44 ng/ml and 25 ng/ml respectively.The recoveries,precision and accuracy of the method appear satisfactory.Using this method,the pharmacokinetics and bio-distribution of CPT-11 liposome formulation after an intravenous dose of 2.5 mg/kg were then investigated.Wenqian Yang Zimeng Yang Jieru Liu Dan Liu Yongjun Wang 2019Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2019,14,6:2

13siRNA沉默STAT5对食管癌EC9706细胞增殖、凋亡和侵袭的影响(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of the study was to explore the effect of STAT5 silenced by siRNA on proliferation,apoptosis and invasion of esophageal carcinoma cell line EC9706.Methods:The siRNA vectors aiming to STAT5 gene were constructed.STAT5 siRNA was transfected into EC9706 cells by Lipofectamine TM 2000.Changes of STAT5,Bcl-2 and Cyclin D1 were analyzed by Western blot and RT-PCR.Effect of STAT5 siRNA on EC9706 cells proliferation was determined by MTT.Effects of STAT5 siRNA on EC9706 cells cycle and apoptosis were detected by the flow cytometry.Boyden chamber was used to evaluate the invasion and metastasis capabilities of EC9706 cells.Results:The double strands oligonucleotide of siRNA aiming to STAT5 was successfully cloned into the pRNAT-U6.1 vector,and the target sequence was coincide with the design.RT-PCR and Western blotting detection demonstrated that the expression levels of STAT5,Bcl-2 and Cyclin D1 genes were obviously decreased in EC9706 cells transfected with STAT5 targeting siRNA expression vectors.STAT5 siRNA could suppress the proliferation of EC9706 cells.The proportions of S and G2/M periods frequency were significantly decreased (P < 0.05),and the proportion of G0/G1 period frequency was significantly increased (P < 0.05).The average amount of cells penetrating Matrigel was significantly decreased (P < 0.05).Silencing the STAT5 induced the apoptosis of esophageal carcinoma cell line EC9706 (P < 0.01).Conclusion:STAT5 silenced by siRNA of esophageal carcinoma cell line EC9706 could induce the apoptosis.And it could suppress the proliferation,invasion and metastasis of tumor cells.Daoxin Jin Wenqiao Zang Tao Wang Min Li Jieru Wan Guoqiang Zhao 2010The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2010,9,12:2

17Femtosecond laser fabrication of nanograting-based distributed fiber sensors for extreme environmental applications显示文摘The femtosecond laser has emerged as a powerful tool for micro-and nanoscale device fabrication. Through nonlinear ionization processes, nanometer-sized material modifications can be inscribed in transparent materials for device fabrication. This paper describes femtosecond precision inscription of nanograting in silica fiber cores to form both distributed and point fiber sensors for sensing applications in extreme environmental conditions. Through the use of scanning electron microscope imaging and laser processing optimization,high-temperature stable, Type II femtosecond laser modifications were continuously inscribed,point by point, with only an insertion loss at 1 d B m~(-1) or 0.001 d B per point sensor device.High-temperature performance of fiber sensors was tested at 1000℃, which showed a temperature fluctuation of ±5.5℃ over 5 days. The low laser-induced insertion loss in optical fibers enabled the fabrication of a 1.4 m, radiation-resilient distributed fiber sensor. The in-pile testing of the distributed fiber sensor further showed that fiber sensors can execute stable and distributed temperature measurements in extreme radiation environments. 18A hybrid Wavelet-CNN-LSTM deep learning model for short-term urban water demand forecasting显示文摘Short-term water demand forecasting provides guidance on real-time water allocation in the water supply network, which help water utilities reduce energy cost and avoid potential accidents. Although a variety of methods have been proposed to improve forecast accuracy, it is still difficult for statistical models to learn the periodic patterns due to the chaotic nature of the water demand data with high temporal resolution. To overcome this issue from the perspective of improving data predictability, we proposed a hybrid Wavelet-CNN-LSTM model, that combines time-frequency decomposition characteristics of Wavelet Multi-Resolution Analysis (MRA) and implement it into an advanced deep learning model, CNN-LSTM. Four models - ANN, Conv1D, LSTM, GRUN - are used to compare with Wavelet-CNN-LSTM, and the results show that Wavelet-CNN-LSTM outperforms the other models both in single-step and multi-steps prediction. 19Review of stopping power and Coulomb explosion for molecular ion in plasmas显示文摘We summarize our theoretical studies for stopping power of energetic heavy ion,diatomic molecular ions and small clusters penetrating through plasmas.As a relevant research field for the heavy ion inertial confinement fusion(HICF),we lay the emphasis on the dynamic po-larization and correlation effects of the constituent ion within the molecular ion and cluster for stopping power in order to disclose the role of the vicinage effect on the Coulomb explosion and energy deposition of molecules and clusters in plasma.On the other hand,as a promising scheme for ICF,both a strong laser field and an intense ion beam are used to irradiate a plasma target.So the influence of a strong laser field on stopping power is significant.We discussed a large range of laser and plasma parameters on the coulomb explosion and stopping power for correlated-ion cluster and C 60 cluster.Furthermore,in order to indicate the effects of different cluster types and sizes on the stopping power,a comparison is made for hydrogen and carbon clusters.In addition,the deflection of molecular axis for diatomic molecules during the Coulomb explosion is also given for the cases both in the presence of a laser field and laser free.Finally,a future experimental scheme is put forward to measure molecular ion stopping power in plasmas in Xi’an Jiaotong University of China.Guiqiu Wang He Yi Yujiao Li Yaochuan Wang Dajun Liu Fei Gao Wei Liu Jieru Ren Xing Wang Yongtao Zhao Younian Wang 2018Matter and Radiation at Extremes2018,3,2:1
