| 1 | An adaptive particle filter for soft fault compensation of mobile robots显示文摘Soft fault compensation plays an important role in mobile robot locating, mapping, and navigating. It is difficult to achieve fast and accurate compensation for mobile robots because they are usually highly non-linear, non-Gaussian systems with lim-ited computation and memory resources. An adaptive particle filter is presented to compensate two kinds of soft faults for mobile robots, i.e., noise or factor faults of dead reckoning sensors and slippage of wheels. Firstly, the kinematics models and the fault models are discussed, and five kinds of residual features are extracted to detect soft faults. Secondly, an adaptive particle filter is designed for fault com-pensation, and two kinds of adaptive scheme are discussed: 1) the noise variances of linear speed and yaw rate are adjusted according to residual features; 2) the particle number is adapted according to Kullback-Leibler divergence (KLD) of two approximate distribution denoted with two particle sets with different particles, i.e., increasing particle number if the KLD is large and decreasing particle number if the KLD is small. | 2 | Improved method for the feature extraction of laser scanner using genetic clustering显示文摘Feature extraction of range images provided by ranging sensor is a key issue of pattern recognition. To automatically extract the environmental feature sensed by a 2D ranging sensor laser scanner, an improved method based on genetic clustering VGA-clustering is presented. By integrating the spatial neighbouring information of range data into fuzzy clustering algorithm, a weighted fuzzy clustering algorithm (WFCA) instead of standard clustering algorithm is introduced to realize feature extraction of laser scanner. Aimed at the unknown clustering number in advance, several validation index functions are used to estimate the validity of different clustering al-gorithms and one validation index is selected as the fitness function of genetic algorithm so as to determine the accurate clustering number automatically. At the same time, an improved genetic algorithm IVGA on the basis of VGA is proposed to solve the local optimum of clustering algorithm, which is implemented by increasing the population diversity and improving the genetic operators of elitist rule to enhance the local search capacity and to quicken the convergence speed. | 3 | Oxygen‑Defect Enhanced Anion Adsorption Energy Toward Super‑Rate and Durable Cathode for Ni–Zn Batteries显示文摘The alkaline zinc-based batteries with high energy density are becoming a research hotspot.However,the poor cycle stability and low-rate performance limit their wide application.Herein,ultra-thin CoNiO2 nanosheet with rich oxygen defects anchored on the vertically arranged Ni nanotube arrays(Od-CNO@Ni NTs)is used as a positive material for rechargeable alkaline Ni–Zn batteries.As the highly uniform Ni nanotube arrays provide a fast electron/ion transport path and abundant active sites,the Od-CNO@Ni NTs electrode delivers excellent capacity(432.7 mAh g^(−1))and rate capability(218.3 mAh g^(−1) at 60 A g^(−1)).Moreover,our Od-CNO@Ni NTs//Zn battery is capable of an ultra-long lifespan(93.0%of initial capacity after 5000 cycles),extremely high energy density of 547.5 Wh kg^(−1) and power density of 92.9 kW kg^(−1)(based on the mass of cathode active substance).Meanwhile,the theoretical calculations reveal that the oxygen defects can enhance the interaction between electrode surface and electrolyte ions,contributing to higher capacity.This work opens a reasonable idea for the development of ultra-durable,ultra-fast,and high-energy Ni–Zn battery. | Jia Yao Houzhao Wan Chi Chen Jie Ji Nengze Wang Zhaohan Zheng Jinxia Duan Xunying Wang Guokun Ma Li Tao Hanbin Wang Jun Zhang Hao Wang | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,11: | 2 |
| 4 | Synthesis and Characterization of Porous Magnesium Aluminate Spinel by Hydrothermal Process显示文摘Magnesium aluminate spinel has a great prospect in catalyst supports due to the porous structure, good catalytic activity, high thermal stability and the presence of two active centers as acid and alkaline. The magnesium aluminate spinel powders were synthesized by a hydrothermal process. The samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms, respectively. The particle surface with the laminated structure increases with the increase of hydrothermal temperature and hydrothermal time. The spinel has a worm-like porous structure, and the pores become smaller and well-distributed under hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide condition. The phase of the spinel appears at 450°C and the perfect crystalline structure emerges at 600°C. The percentage of Mg Al2O4 spinel increases with the increase of heat treatment temperature. The spinel has a great specific surface area(i.e., 245.68–58.65 m2/g) when the calcinating temperature increases from 500 to 1200°C. | 7 | Structure and Function of the Gastrointestinal Tract of the Green Turtle(Chelonia mydas) Hatchling显示文摘The gastrointestinal tracts of four Chelonia mydas hatchlings were examined at the anatomical, histological and ultrastructural level. Our results show that the gastrointestinal tract(GI) is composed by esophagus, stomach, small intestine(SI) and large intestine(LI), and histologically of mucosa, submucosa, muscularis externa(ME) and serosa. The esophagus is marked by conical papillae lined by keratinized stratified squamous epithelium, whereas the remaining GI by simple columnar epithelium; esophageal diverticulum is absent. The stomach covered with mucous granule cells, contains cardia, fundic regions and pylorus, which are separately characterized by cardiac glands, fundic glands and pyloric glands, and have the thickest submucosa and ME of the GI. The ME of the esophagus mainly consist of one layer of circular smooth muscle whereas the rest of GI of two layers, inner circular muscle and outer longitudinal muscle. The SI is slightly longer than the LI and the GI is approximately 5.11 times of the carapace length. The SI is lined with longitudinal zigzag folds and characterized by absorptive cells with longer and denser microvilli, whereas the LI by transversal folds, goblet cells and lymphoid nodules. Only intestinal glands appear in duodenum. Endocrine cells are observed in all sections of the GI and accounted for the largest proportion in duodenum. The results demonstrate a perfect combination of the structure and function of the GI and reveal that the digestion and absorption primarily occurs in the foregut. | 8 | High-performance Ag_(2)BiI_(5)Pb-free perovskite photodetector显示文摘Recently,lead-free all-inorganic halide perovskites have attracted great interest because they not only have the merits of the halide perovskite family,but also are non-toxic.However,the commercialization of lead-free allinorganic perovskites is restricted by their relatively low performances,which are usually caused by the fabrication methods and undesirable interfaces between the active layer and carrier transport layers.Herein,we demonstrate a solution-processed route for high-quality Ag_(2)BiI_(5) lead-free perovskite film by adopting ideal electron transport material SnO_(2)and a carbon electrode.By optimizing the fabrication process and tailoring the composition of the perovskite active layer,a high-performance photodetector(PD)with an FTO∕SnO_(2)∕Ag_(2)BiI_(5)∕carbon structure PD is first fabricated,which shows good self-powered performance with a detectivity of as high as 5.3×10^(12)Jones and a linear dynamic range of up to 138 d B,which are better than those of the reported Pb-free perovskite PDs and comparable to high-performance Pb-based perovskite PDs.In addition,our unpackaged PDs show good light,thermal,and storage stability in air.Our results provide a special route for the development of lead-free perovskite devices in an environmentally friendly field. | ZIHAO SHUANG HAI ZHOU DINGJUN WU XUHUI ZHANG BOAO XIAO JINXIA DUAN HAO WANG | 2022 | Photonics Research2022,10,8: | 0 |

| 12 | Fullerene modification of WO_(3) electron transport layer toward high-efficiency MA-free perovskite solar cells with eliminated light-soaking effect显示文摘In perovskite solar cells(PSCs),the light-soaking effect,which means device performance changes obviously under continuous light illumination,is potentially harmful to loaded devices as well as accurately assessing their efficiency.Herein,chemically stable tungsten trioxide(WO3)with high electron mobility is used as electron transport material in methylamine(MA)-free PSCs.However,the light-soaking effect is observed apparently in our devices.A fullerene derivative,C60 pyrrolidine Tris-acid(CPTA),is introduced to modify the interface between WO3 and perovskite(PVK)layers,which can bond with WO3 and PVK simultaneously,leading to the passivation of the defect and the suppression of trap-assisted nonradiative recombination.What is more,the introduction of CPTA can enhance the built-in electric field between WO3 and PVK layers,thereby facilitating the electron extraction and inhibiting the carrier accumulation at the interface.Consequently,the lightsoaking effect of WO3-based PSCs has been eliminated,and the power conversion efficiency has been boosted from 17.4%for control device to 20.5%for WO3/CPTA-based PSC with enhanced stability.This study gives guidance for the design of interfacial molecules to eliminate the light-soaking effect. | Xin Yu Bing Cai Jinxia Zhang Xingcheng Li Xue Wang Gongtao Duan Wenfeng Zhang Xinhang Liu Wen-Hua Zhang Shangfeng Yang | 2023 | Interdisciplinary Materials2023,2,3: | 0 |
