1Autophagy activation aggravates neuronal injury in the hippocampus of vascular dementia rats显示文摘It remains unclear whether autophagy affects hippocampal neuronal injury in vascular dementia. In the present study, we investigated the effects of autophagy blockade on hippocampal neuronal injury in a rat model of vascular dementia. In model rats, hippocampal CA1 neurons were severely damaged, and expression of the autophagy-related proteins beclin-1, cathepsin B and microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 was elevated compared with that in sham-operated animals. These responses were suppressed in animals that received a single intraperitoneal injection of wortmannin, an autophagy inhibitor, prior to model establishment. 2Effect of Cynodon dactylon community on the conservation and reinforcement of riparian shallow soil in the Three Gorges Reservoir area显示文摘Introduction:Riparian vegetation plays a crucial role in soil conservation and riverbank reinforcement.The Three Gorges hydrologic project has significantly changed the pattern of water-level fluctuation and riparian environment,which significantly influenced plant community development and its effect on soil conservation and riverbank protection.Cynodon dactylon,a perennial grass with developed root system and creeping stems,has become a dominant riparian species in the Three Gorges area after the completion of the dam.We aimed to characterize how the soil-root system under the C.dactylon community responded to environmental changes and effects of the soil-root system on shallow soil conservation and riverbank reinforcement through field investigation and laboratory test.Methods:We conducted a field survey and experimental research.Quadrates of a natural C.dactylon community were set up on a riverbank along an altitude gradient.Plants were sampled randomly for the measurements of spatial structure and tensile strength of roots.Soil erosion resistance,soil scour resistance,and shear strength of sampled soil-root systems and control soil were tested in the laboratory.Results:Roots of the C.dactylon community significantly increased soil erosion resistance,soil scour resistance,and shear strength,enhancing the stability of shallow soil and riverbank.Due to water-level fluctuation,C.dactylon at lower altitudes was subjected to less time exposed to air.As a result,the soil-root systems at lower altitudes were characterized by reduced biomass with reduced capacity for soil reinforcement as measured through erosion resistance,soil scour resistance,and shear strength.The correlation analysis indicated that root biomass had a significant positive linear correlation with the enhancement of erosion resistance and scour resistance,and shear strength,respectively.Conclusions:Roots of the C.dactylon community effectively enhanced the stability of riparian shallow soil and riverbank.The fluctuation in water level caused the difference of root growth as the exposed time of plants decreases with the decrease of altitude.The difference of root structure resulted in the variation of the soil-root system in soil conservation and reinforcement.Fangqing Chen Jinxia Zhang Miao Zhang Jianzhu Wang 2015Ecological Processes2015,4,1:10
3Analysis of inpatient payments of breast cancer patients with different medical insurance coverages in China(mainland) in 2011–2015显示文摘Objective: An understanding of the levels and trends of medical cost is made for breast cancer patients with different medical insurance coverages in China(mainland), in an attempt to offer a clue to further control the costs.Methods: The inpatient payments of 9,716,180 breast cancer patients spent in medical institutions of different types and grades during 2011–2015 were collected from the inpatient medical record home page(IMRHP) dataset.The data were then processed with SAS(Version 9.3; SAS Institute, Cary, NC, USA). Indicators like means,increase(decrease) percentages were used to descriptively analyze the average hospitalization expense of each time(AHEET) and its trends of breast cancer patients with different medical insurance coverages treated in medical institutions of different types and grades.Results:In 2011–2015,the AHEET borne by breast cancer patients in China had been constantly increasing.Specifically,the self-pay inpatients had the largest increase,inpatients covered by Urban Employee Basic Medical Insurance(UEBMI)and Urban Resident Basic Medical Insurance(URBMI)were the next,and those covered by New Rural Cooperative Medical System(NRCMS)had the least increase.Breast cancer inpatient treated in public hospitals had quite greater increase and higher expenditure level than those in private hospitals.The AHEET borne by the inpatients in Grade 3 hospitals had greater increase and higher cost than those in Grade 2 hospitals.Conclusions:The inpatient payments of breast cancer patients will be wisely controlled by reducing the number of self-pay inpatients,taking advantage of restriction mechanism of the medical insurances,and promoting healthy competition between private hospitals and public hospitals.The economic burden imposed on the society by breast cancer can be relieved through further control of inpatient payments of UEBMI-and URBMI-covered breast cancer patients and of Grade 3 hospitals.Rui Li Liang Zhang Jinxia Yang Yue Cai Wanqing Chen Lan Lan Ming Xue Qun Meng 2017Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,5:9
4The wheat MYB-related transcription factor TaMYB72 promotes flowering in rice显示文摘Through large-scale transformation analyses, Ta MYB72 was identified as a flowering time regulator in wheat. Ta MYB72 is a MYB family transcription factor localized to the nucleus. Three Ta MYB72 homologs,Ta MYB72-A, Ta MYB72-B and Ta MYB72-D, cloned from hexaploid wheat were mapped to the short arm of the group 6 chromosomes. Under the long-day conditions,over-expression of the Ta MYB72 in rice shortened the flowering time by approximately 12 d. 6Sedimentary filling and sequence structure dominated by T-R cycles of the Nenjiang Formation in the Songliao Basin显示文摘The Nenjiang Formation in the Songliao Basin is a symmetrical sequence of progradation-retrogradation,and is formed in the transgression cycle and regression cycle(T-R cycles)of the base level of deposition.We analyzed the drilling,well logging,core data,and seismic profiles of basin level,and by using the sequence stratigraphy,identified one secondary sequence boundary,two third-order sequence boundaries,and eight fourth-order sequence boundaries in the Nenjiang Formation.These eleven sequence boundaries can be divided into structural unconformity,depositional unconformity,flooding surface,and forced regression surface.Therefore the Nenjiang Formation can be subdivided into one secondary sequence,three third-order sequences,and ten fourth-order sequences.We have restored the sedimentary filling evolution within the stratigraphic framework of fourth-order sequences in the Nenjiang Formation.The sedimentary period of the first member of the Nenjiang Formation was corresponded to the global transgression period,which is also the development period of transgression cycle(T cycle),when the lake basin had the largest scope and deepest sedimentary water,the SB07(the maximum flooding surface)was formed on the top of strata during this period;covering above the SB07,there developed a set of condensation layer-oil shale,which is distributed in the whole basin and is the important source bed and regional cover.Therefore,a retrogradation sequence was formed in the T cycle of the first member of the Nenjiang Formation,characterized by the retrograding delta at a low angle.The delta has a giant front,a small plain,and many underwater distributary channels.Meanwhile,large gravity flow channels and sublacustrine fans are developed in the front of the delta.During the depositional period of the second member of the Nenjiang Formation,the R cycle began to develop due to the compression of the pacific tectonic domain;the source direction rotated 90°along with the eastern uplifting of the basin,and formed a series of east-west prograded and forced retrogradations.The prograding delta at high angel was developed in the interior of the sequence;the delta had a small front,a giant plain,and fewer underwater distributary channels,with the collapse at the foreslope,forming a series of slump fans.The slump fans can be divided into three types:discrete type,superimposed type,and fluid type.We built a whole'triad model'of the slump fan.Pointed out that the sequence of forced retrogradation formed by R cycle is a good structural mark of basin optimization,and rejected the viewpoint of'transgression'in the Nenjiang Formation of the Songliao Basin.ZHANG ChenChen ZHANG Shun WEI Wei WU ChaoDong LIANG JiangPing NIU Wen DU JinXia FU XiuLi CUI KunNing WANG Chao WANG Hui 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,2:5

8Wnt3a expression during the differentiation of adipose-derived stem cells into cholinergic neurons显示文摘The present study analyzed changes in Wnt3a expression during differentiation of adipose-derived stem cells into cholinergic neurons.Immunocytochemistry and immunofluorescence revealed significantly increased nestin,neuron-specific enolase,microtubule-associated protein 2,and choline acetyltransferase expression in adipose-derived stem cells isolated from Sprague-Dawley rats and cultured in vitro in neural-induced medium.These expressions increased with prolonged induction time.Real-time reverse transcription-PCR and western blot assay results demonstrated significantly increased choline acetyltransferase and Wnt3a protein and mRNA expressions,respectively,in adipose-derived stem cells following induction.Choline acetyltransferase expression positively correlated with Wnt3a protein and mRNA expressions.These results demonstrated that neural-induced medium induced differentiation of adipose-derived stem cells into cholinergic neuronal-like cells,with subsequent increased Wnt3a expression.Bin Liu Chunying Deng Yuqin Zhang Jinxia Zhang 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,19:3

11Efficacy of decoction from Jieduan Niwan formula on rat model of acute-on-chronic liver failure induced by porcine serum显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To dynamically observe the efficacy of Jieduan Niwan formula(JDNW)on a rat model of acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF).METHODS:Seventy Wistar rats were divided into control group(6 rats),model group(22 rats),JDNW group(21 rats),and SP600125 group(21 rats).13 weeks'porcine serum injection followed with D-galactosamine and lipopolysaccharide joint acute attack was used to establish ACLF model.Rats in JDNW group were orally given JDNW formula for 3 days before acute attack;rats in SP600125 group were injected with SP60012530 min ahead of acute attack.Rats were sacrificed respectively at 4,8 and 12 h after model established.Alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),total bilirubin(TBIL),Creatinine(CR),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),prothrombin activity(PTA)were examined by biochemical process,Tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-10(IL-10),transformed growth factor-beta 1(TGF-β1),High mobility group box-1(HMGB-1),CD3,CD4,CD8 were analyzed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,apoptotic index(AI)was detected by terminal-deoxynucleoitidyl transferase mediated nick end labeling staining,expression of Bad,phosphorylated Jun N-terminal kinases(p-JNK)and Cytochrome C(Cyt C)were detected by immunohistochemical analysis,Bax and Bid were detected by Western blot analysis.RESULTS:In model group,the levels of ALT,AST,TBIL,CR,BUN,IL-1β,IL-6,IL-10,TGF-β1 and HMGB-1 remarkably increased and PTA decreased compared with control group(P<0.05),as time goes on,ALT,AST,TBIL,CR,BUN,continued to grow,while IL-1β,IL-6,IL-10,HMGB-1,TGF-β1 and PTA gradually decreased;massive necrosis could be seen;the levels of TNF-α,CD3,CD4,CD8,AI,p-JNK,Bax,Bad,Bid and Cyt C increased at 4 h and peaked at 8 h,but decreased at 12 h(P<0.05).JDNW group,by contrast,showed less pathological injury,increased PTA level,and reduced ALT,AST,TBIL,TNF-α,IL-1β,IL-6,IL-10,TGF-β1,HMGB-1,CD3,CD4 and CD8 levels(P<0.05),moreover,the AI and expression of p-JNK,Bax,Bad,Bid and Cyt C were lower than model group at 4 and 8 h but were higher at 12 h(P<0.05).Similar results were observed in SP600125 group.CONCLUSION:An ACLF rat model with low mortality can be established by porcine serum joint with D-galactosamine+lipopolysaccharide induction;JDNW decoction can effectively suppress the inflammatory reaction,improve the immune system,and protect the liver of ACLF rats,the mechanism might involve the inhibition of the JNK-induced mitochondrial apoptotic pathway.Li Jinxia Zhang Qiuyun Gao Lianyin Du Yuqiong Chen Yu 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,4:3
12Design and application of electrical fire monitoring system in mining industry显示文摘To protect mining areas from electrical fire,it is very important to install electrical fire monitoring system to ensure safety in development of mineral resources and for buildings.In this paper,design for electrical fire monitoring and detection system with optional sensor modules has been proposed.In addition,necessity and suitability of electrical fire monitoring and detection system with optional sensor modules in mining areas have been reviewed.The designed electrical fire monitoring and detection system suitable for work environment of mining industry is composed by host-computer monitoring software and slave-computer detectors.Monitoring detectors are manufactured by using embedded technology.External shells deployed have superior enclosure performances and explosion-proof properties.It is easy to install and maintain the system.In general,the system has reached,or even exceeded standards specified in national standards for performances and appearances of such devices.Test results show application of electrical fire monitoring and detection system can effectively enhance monitoring intensity over the mining areas and provide reliable guarantee to ensure orderly development of mineral resources and to protect physical and property safety of citizens in these areas.Diao Jinxia Zhang Guilin Hu Haidong Zou Zhihui Zhang Baojin 2015International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2015,25,2:3

14Oxygen‑Defect Enhanced Anion Adsorption Energy Toward Super‑Rate and Durable Cathode for Ni–Zn Batteries显示文摘The alkaline zinc-based batteries with high energy density are becoming a research hotspot.However,the poor cycle stability and low-rate performance limit their wide application.Herein,ultra-thin CoNiO2 nanosheet with rich oxygen defects anchored on the vertically arranged Ni nanotube arrays(Od-CNO@Ni NTs)is used as a positive material for rechargeable alkaline Ni–Zn batteries.As the highly uniform Ni nanotube arrays provide a fast electron/ion transport path and abundant active sites,the Od-CNO@Ni NTs electrode delivers excellent capacity(432.7 mAh g^(−1))and rate capability(218.3 mAh g^(−1) at 60 A g^(−1)).Moreover,our Od-CNO@Ni NTs//Zn battery is capable of an ultra-long lifespan(93.0%of initial capacity after 5000 cycles),extremely high energy density of 547.5 Wh kg^(−1) and power density of 92.9 kW kg^(−1)(based on the mass of cathode active substance).Meanwhile,the theoretical calculations reveal that the oxygen defects can enhance the interaction between electrode surface and electrolyte ions,contributing to higher capacity.This work opens a reasonable idea for the development of ultra-durable,ultra-fast,and high-energy Ni–Zn battery.Jia Yao Houzhao Wan Chi Chen Jie Ji Nengze Wang Zhaohan Zheng Jinxia Duan Xunying Wang Guokun Ma Li Tao Hanbin Wang Jun Zhang Hao Wang 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,11:2

20Expression status of GATA3 and mismatch repair proteins in upper tract urothelial carcinoma显示文摘GATA binding protein 3 (GATA3) and mismatch repair (MMR) deficiency contribute to the development of urothelial carcinoma. However, the combined expression of GATA3 and microsatellite instability (MSI) in upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) and its prognostic value have not been investigated. Here, we immunohistochemically stained GATA3 and MMR proteins in 108 UTUC samples. GATA3 was positive in 74 cases, and its expression was significantly lower than in adjacent benign urothelium (P<0.001). Loss of GATA3 expression was statistically associated with adverse clinicopathologic parameters, such as advanced stage, lymphovascular invasion, neural invasion, lymph node metastasis, and extensive necrosis. Cancer-specific survival (CSS, P=0.028) and disease-free survival (DFS, P=0.024) were significantly shorter in patients with GATA3 negative tumors than in patients with GATA3 positive tumors. The absence of MMR proteins was observed in 8.3% of the cases, and focal staining was identified in 13.0%. When using “lax criteria” which resulted in counting cases as negative where MMR staining was in fact focally positive (<5%), we found that GATA3 was inversely associated with MSI (P=0.005). Moreover, GATA3−/microsatellite stability (MS) tumors were correlated with advanced pT stage (P<0.001) and poor outcome (P=0.019 for CSS, P=0.016 for DFS) compared with GATA3+/MSI ones. The GATA3−/MSI cases had unfavorable clinical outcomes compared with GATA3+/MSI cases (P=0.008 for CSS, P=0.023 for DFS).
