1Plant-derived phosphocholine facilitates cellular uptake of anti-pulmonary fibrotic HJT-sRNA-m7显示文摘Pulmonary fibrosis, a progressive chronic disease with a high mortality rate, has limited treatment options. Currently, lung transplantation remains the only effective treatment. Here we report that a small RNA, HJT-sRNA-m7, from a Chinese herbal medicine Hong Jing Tian(HJT, RHODIOHAE CRENULATAE RADIX ET RHIZOMA, Rhodiola crenulata) can effectively reduce the expressions of fibrotic hallmark genes and proteins both in alveolar in vitro and in mouse lung tissues in vivo. We also discovered over one hundred oil-soluble chemicals from HJT decoctions, most of which are found in lipid extracts from other Chinese herbals decoctions, including Pu Gong Ying(PGY, TARAXACI HERBA, Taraxacum mongolicum), Chuan Xin Lian(CXL, changed to 'ANDROGRAPHIS HERBA, Andrographis paniculata'), and Jin Yin Hua(JYH, lonicera japonica or Honeysuckle). We identified the active component in these decoctions as two forms of phosphocholines, PC(18:0/18:2) and PC(16:0/18:2). These PCs potentially could form liposomes with small RNAs to enter human alveolar and gastric cells. 2Simulation of the Interaction between Driver and Seat显示文摘Test is one of methods to acquire human-seat pressure distribution in driving,with the deficiency of being uneasy to obtain the stress information of soft tissue inside human body and the sheer force of interface between human and seat,which can be obtained by simulation.But current simulation method focuses mainly on calculation itself other than combining it with posture prediction and cab packaging parameters,which cause it difficult to acquire accurate pressure calculation results without accurate posture of human body,and make it almost meaningless to design optimization.Therefore,a human body geometric model with posture change capability is built and linked up with Cascade Prediction Model(CPM),which takes cab packaging parameters as inputs.A detailed finite element model of driver human body is constructed and used to conduct the driver-seat interaction simulation between human body and seat.Good accordance of pressure distribution is observed between simulation and test,which validates the simulation.In addition to the distribution pattern,curves on key sections are used to analyze the pressure and shear stress on the seat surface,as well as soft tissue stress inside human body.The simulation shows that the maximum stress of buttocks locates under the ischial tuberosity,and the maximum stress of trunk occurs near the scapula posterior and the lower waist.These are the places where fatigue usually occurs.The maximum pressure of seat appears at the driver-seat contact area corresponding to the driver’s maximum skin tissue stress.In order to guide the seat design and cab packaging and study the influence of posture to pressure distribution,finite element models for different levels of cab packaging parameters are created by using CPM.The pressure distributions are calculated and their tendencies varying with cab packaging parameters are obtained.The method presented provides a new way to accurately simulate the interaction between driver human body and seat,and to guide the seat design and cab packaging so as to improve seating comfort.DU Xiaoming REN Jindong SANG Chunlei LI Lemeng 2013Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,6:14
3Large-scale analysis of small RNAs derived from traditional Chinese herbs in human tissues显示文摘Plant-derived microRNAs have recently been reported to function in human blood and tissues. Controversy was immediately raised due to possible contamination and the lack of large sample sizes. Here, we report thousands of unique small RNAs derived from traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) herbs found in human blood cells and mouse lung tissues using a large-scale analysis.We extracted small RNAs from decoctions of 10 TCM plants(Ban Zhi Lian, Chai Hu, Chuan Xin Lian, Di Ding Zi Jin, Huang Qin, Jin Yin Hua, Lian Qiao, Pu Gong Ying, Xia Ku Cao, and Yu Xing Cao) and obtained millions of RNA sequences from each herb. We also obtained RNA-Seq data from the blood cells of humans who consumed herbal decoctions and from the lung tissues of mice administered RNAs from herbal decoctions via oral gavage. We identified thousands of unique small RNA sequences in human blood cells and mouse lung tissues. Some of these identified small RNAs from Chuan Xin Lian and Hong Jing Tian could be mapped to the genomes of the herbs, confirming their TCM plant origin. 4Algorithm for Detecting Volumetric Geometric Accuracy of NC Machine Tool by Laser Tracker显示文摘Quick and accurate detecting the error of NC machine tool and performing the error compensation are important to improve the machining accuracy of NC machine tool.Currently,there are many methods for detecting the geometric accuracy of NC machine tool.However,these methods have deficiencies in detection efficiency and accuracy as well as in versatility.In the paper,a method with laser tracker based on the multi-station and time-sharing measurement principle is proposed,and this method can rapidly and accurately detect the geometric accuracy of NC machine tool.The machine tool is controlled to move in the preset path in a 3D space or 2D plane,and a laser tracker is used to measure the same motion trajectory of the machine tool successively at different base stations.The original algorithm for multi-station and time-sharing measurement is improved.The space coordinates of the measuring point obtained by the laser tracker are taken as parameter values,and the initial position of each base point can be determined.The redundant equation concerning the base point calibration can be established by the distance information of the laser tracker,and the position of each base point is further determined by solving the equation with least squares method,then the space coordinates of each measuring point can be calibrated.The singular matrix does not occur in calculation with the improved algorithm,which overcomes the limitations of the original algorithm,that the motion trajectory of machine tool is in a 3D space and there exits height difference between the base stations.Adopting the improved algorithm can expand the application of multi-station and time-sharing measurement,and can meet the quick and accurate detecting requirements for different types of NC machine tool.WANG Jindong GUO Junjie 2013Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,1:13

6A 3D Simulator for Autonomous Robotic Fish显示文摘This paper presents a 3D simulator used for studying the motion control and autonomous navigation of robotic fish. The simulator’s system structure and computation flow are presented. Simplified kinematics and hydrodynamics models for a virtual robotic fish are proposed. Many other object models are created for water, obstacles, sonar sensors and a swimming pool. 7Magnetic field data processing methods of the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite显示文摘The High Precision Magnetometer(HPM) on board the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite(CSES) allows highly accurate measurement of the geomagnetic field; it includes FGM(Fluxgate Magnetometer) and CDSM(Coupled Dark State Magnetometer)probes. This article introduces the main processing method, algorithm, and processing procedure of the HPM data. First, the FGM and CDSM probes are calibrated according to ground sensor data. Then the FGM linear parameters can be corrected in orbit, by applying the absolute vector magnetic field correction algorithm from CDSM data. At the same time, the magnetic interference of the satellite is eliminated according to ground-satellite magnetic test results. Finally, according to the characteristics of the magnetic field direction in the low latitude region, the transformation matrix between FGM probe and star sensor is calibrated in orbit to determine the correct direction of the magnetic field. 9FKF1 F-box protein promotes flowering in part by negatively regulating DELLA protein stability under long-day photoperiod in Arabidopsis^FA显示文摘FLAVIN-BINDING KELCH REPEAT F-BOX 1(FKF1)encodes an F-box protein that regulates photoperiod flowering in Arabidopsis under long-day conditions(LDs).Gibberellin(GA)is also important for regulating flowering under LDs.However,how FKF1 and the GA pathway work in concert in regulating flowering is not fully understood.Here,we showed that the mutation of FKF1 could cause accumulation of DELLA proteins,which are crucial repressors in GA signaling pathway,thereby reducing plant sensitivity to GA in flowering.Both in vitro and in vivo biochemical analyses demonstrated that FKF1 directly interacted with DELLA proteins.Furthermore,we showed that FKF1 promoted ubiquitination and degradation of DELLA proteins.Analysis of genetic data revealed that FKF1 acted partially through DELLAs to regulate flowering under LDs.In addition,DELLAs exerted a negative feedback on FKF1 expression.Collectively,these findings demonstrate that FKF1 promotes flowering partially by negatively regulating DELLA protein stability under LDs,and suggesting a potential mechanism linking the FKF1 to the GA signaling DELLA proteins.Jindong Yan Xinmei Li Bingjie Zeng Ming Zhong Jiaxin Yang Piao Yang Xin Li Chongsheng He Jianzhong Lin Xuanming Liu Xiaoying Zhao 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,11:8

11Long-distance ranging with high precision using a soliton microcomb显示文摘Laser-based light detection and ranging(lidar)plays a significant role in both scientific and industrial areas.However,it is difficult for existing lidars to achieve high speed,high precision,and long distance simultaneously.Here,we demonstrate a high-performance lidar based on a chip-scaled soliton microcomb(SMC)that can realize all three specialties simultaneously.Aided by the excellent properties of ultrahigh repetition rate and the smooth envelope of the SMC,traditional optical frequency comb(OFC)-based dispersive interferometry is heavily improved and the measuring dead zone induced by the mismatch between the repetition rate of the OFC and resolution of the optical spectrum analyzer is totally eliminated.Combined with an auxiliary dual-frequency phase-modulated laser range finder,the none-dead-zone measurable range ambiguity is extended up to 1500 m.The proposed SMC lidar is experimentally implemented in both indoor and outdoor environment.In the outdoor baseline field,real-time,high-speed(up to 35 k Hz)measurement of a long distance of^1179 m is achieved with a minimum Allan deviation of 5.6μm at an average time of 0.2 ms(27 nm at an average time of 1.8 s after high-pass filtering).The present SMC lidar approaches a compact,fast,high-precision,and none-dead zone long-distance ranging system,aimed at emerging applications of frontier basic scientific research and advances in industrial manufacturing.JINDONG WANG ZHIZHOU LU WEIQIANG WANG FUMIN ZHANG JIAWEI CHEN YANG WANG JIHUI ZHENG SAI T.CHU WEI ZHAO BRENT E.LITTLE XINGHUA QU WENFU ZHANG 2020Photonics Research2020,8,12:8
12Research on volumetric error compensation for NC machine tool based on laser tracker measurement显示文摘Error compensation is an effective method to improve the accuracy of NC machine tool.The compensation results are greatly affected by the error modeling and error measurement,so how to establish an accurate error model and accurately detect the geometric errors of machine tool are particularly important.In the paper,the volumetric error model of a multi-axis NC machine tool is established based on the multi-body system theory.The relative position deviations between the rotary axis and linear axis of the machine tool are considered in the modeling.To achieve quick and accurate detection,a laser tracker is based on the multi-station and time-sharing measurement principle to detect the geometric errors of machine tool,and each error of linear axis and rotary axis can be identified by this method.With the error model,error compensation can be carried out by modifying the machining process(G code),and the machining accuracy can be improved with the new G code.Experiment results show that the motion errors of a milling machine are significantly reduced after compensation,which verifies the effectiveness of compensation method.WANG JinDong GUO JunJie 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,11:7
13Tauroursodeoxycholic acid(TUDCA) inhibits influenza A viral infection by disrupting viral proton channel M2显示文摘Influenza is a persistent threat to human health and there is a continuing requirement for updating antiinfluenza strategies. Initiated by observations of different endoplasmic reticulum(ER) responses of host to seasonal H1N1 and highly pathogenic avian influenza(HPAI) A H5N1 infections, we identified an alternative antiviral role of tauroursodeoxycholic acid(TUDCA), a clinically available ER stress inhibitor, both in vitro and in vivo. Rather than modulating ER stress in host cells, TUDCA abolished the proton conductivity of viral M2 by disrupting its oligomeric states, which induces inefficient viral infection. We also showed that M2 penetrated cells, whose intracellular uptake depended on its proton channel activity,an effect observed in both TUDCA and M2 inhibitor amantadine. 14Phot2-regulated relocation of NPH_3 mediates phototropic response to high-intensity blue light in Arabidopsis thaliana显示文摘Two redundant blue-light receptors, known as phototropins(phot1 and phot2), influence a variety of physiological responses, including phototropism, chloroplast positioning, and stomatal opening in Arabidopsis thaliana.Whereas phot1 functions in both low-and high-intensity blue light(HBL), phot2 functions primarily in HBL. Here, we aimed to elucidate phot2-specific functions by screening for HBLinsensitive mutants among mutagenized Arabidopsis phot1 mutants. One of the resulting phot2 signaling associated(p2 sa) double mutants, phot1 p2 sa2, exhibited phototropic defects that could be restored by constitutively expressing NON-PHOTOTROPIC HYPOCOTYL 3(NPH3), indicating that P2 SA2 was allelic to NPH3. It was observed that NPH3-GFP signal mainly localized to and clustered on the plasma membrane in darkness. This NPH3 clustering on the plasma High-Immembrane was not affected by mutations in genes encoding proteins that interact with NPH3, including PHOT1, PHOT2 and ROOT PHOTOTROPISM 2(RPT2). However, the HBL irradiationmediated release of NPH3 proteins into the cytoplasm was inhibited in phot1 mutants and enhanced in phot2 and rpt2-2 mutants. Furthermore, HBL-induced hypocotyl phototropism was enhanced in phot1 mutants and inhibited in the phot2 and rpt2-2 mutants. 15Protective effects of kidney-tonifying Chinese herbal preparation on substantia nigra neurons in a mouse model of Parkinson's disease显示文摘The Chinese herbs Herba Epimedii, Fructus Ligustri Lucidi and Rhizoma Polygonati were injected into Parkinson's disease mice established via intraperitoneal injection of 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1, 2, 3, 6-tetrahydropyridine hydrochloride. The selective monoamine oxidase B inhibitor selegiline was used as a positive control drug. After successive administration for 4 weeks, Herba Epimedii could downregulate the expression of caspase-3 and increase the brain-derived neurotrophic factor level, as well as increase tyrosine hydroxylase activity in the substantia nigra of Parkinson's disease mouse models. Rhizoma Polygonati could downregulate the expression of caspase-3 and FasL, and increase neural growth factor and brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels. Fructus Ligustri Lucidi could downregulate caspase-3 expression. Rhizoma Polygonati and Fructus Ligustri Lucidi did not produce obvious effects on tyrosine hydroxylase activity. Herba Epimedii and Fructus Ligustri Lucidi yielded similar effects on apoptosis-promoting factors to those elicited by selegiline. Herba Epimedii and Rhizoma Polygonati significantly increased the levels of neurotrophic factors compared with selegiline. Herba Epimedii significantly increased tyrosine hydroxylase activity compared with selegiline. 17In situ synthesis of CNTs/Fe-Ni/TiO_2 nanocomposite by fluidized bed chemical vapor deposition and the synergistic effect in photocatalysis显示文摘Carbon nanotube(CNTs)/Fe-Ni/TiO_2 nanocomposite photocatalysts have been synthesized by an in situ fluidized bed chemical vapor deposition(FBCVD) method.The composite photocatalysts were characterized by XRD,Raman spectroscopy,BET,FESEM,TEM,UV-vis spectroscopy,and XPS.The results showed that the CNTs were grown in situ on the surface of TiO_2.Fe(lll) in TiO_2 showed no chemical changes in the growth of CNTs.Ni(Ⅱ) was partly reduced to metal Ni in the FBCVD process,and the metal Ni acted as a catalyst for the growth of CNTs.The photocatalytic activities of CNTs/Fe-Ni/TiO_2 decreased with the rise of the FBCVD reaction temperature.For the sample synthesized at low FBCVD temperature(500℃),more than 90% and nearly 50% of methylene blue were removed under UV irradiation in 180 min and under visible light irradiation in 300 min,respectively.The probable mechanism of synergistic enhancement of photocatalysis on the CNTs/Fe-Ni/TiO_2 nanocomposite is proposed.Lei Ma Aiping Chen Jindong Lu Zhe Zhang Hongbo He Chunzhong Li 2014Particuology2014,12,3:5
18Xiyanping injection therapy for children with mild hand foot and mouth disease:a randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical effects of Xiyan-ping injection intervention in pediatric patients with mild hand foot and mouth disease(HFMD).METHODS: A total of 329 patients were stratified and block-randomized for symptomatic treatment of HFMD and assigned to one of the following groups: Western Medicine(group A, n = 103), Xiyanping injection(group B, n = 109), or Xiyanping injection and symptomatic treatment using Western Medicine(group C, n = 117). During the trial, fever,rash, ulcers of the mouth were observed among participants in each group before and after treatment, and conversion rates from mild to severe HFMD were measured.RESULTS: After 3-7 days' treatment, no significant differences in the conversion rates from mild to severe HFMD were observed among the three groups(P > 0.05). There was a significantly low number of patients with the onset time of antifebrile effect,vanished time of hand and foot rashes and cumulative time for the ulcers in the mouth vanished,among the three groups(P < 0.05, P < 0.01). The onset time of antifebrile effect of patients in groups B and C were markedly shorter compared with those in group A(P < 0.05, P < 0.01); there was no statically significant difference observed between groups B and C(P > 0.05). No significant differences were observed in the time for body temperature recovery among the three groups(P > 0.05). There were no significant differences in adverse effects among the three groups(P > 0.05).CONCLUSION: Xiyanping injection together with use of Western Medicine is most effective for symptomatic treatment of mild HFMD. 19Genome-wide association mapping of vitamins B1 and B2 in common wheat显示文摘Vitamin B is essential for maintaining normal life activities in humans and animals who have to intake the microelement from the outside, especially from cereal products. In the present study 166 Chinese and foreign wheat cultivars planted in two environments were characterized for variation in vitamin B1 and B2 contents. A genome-wide association study(GWAS) using the wheat 90 K SNP assay identified 17 loci for vitamin B1 and 7 for vitamin B2 contents. Linear regression analysis showed a significantly positive correlation of the number of favorable alleles with vitamin B1 and B2 contents. Marker-trait associations(MTAs) at IWB43809(6AS, 0cM) and IWB69903(6AS, 13cM) were new and stable, and significantly associated with vitamin B1 content across two environments. 20Molecular cloning and expression of Pfu DNA polymerase gene and its application in long-distance PCR显示文摘A 2.3 kb DNA fragment containing Pfu DNA polA gene was amplified by PCR from total DNA of Pyrococcus furiosus and cloned into a pGEM-T vector. The recombinant clone pT-pfu was digested with Nco I and Xho I and the fragment was inserted into an expression vector pET3d-X. The Pfu polA gene was expressed in Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3). The gene product (Pfu) was purified with heat denaturation, polyethylenemine (PEI) precipitation and Bio-rex 70 ion-exchange chromatography. The recombinant Pfu was verified by protein N-terminal sequencing.
