1Planning for a Healthy City: The Influence of Built Environment on Elderly's Body Mass Index显示文摘The influence of the built environment on human health has attracted increasing attention. Given that the elderly have been an integral part in China, the built environment not only influences their health, but also influences the life and work of their children, thus resulting in social problems. Based on questionnaire obtained data on the elderly people in Chongqing, an ordinal multi-categorical regression model is established to analyze the influence of built environment on the leisure and physical activities(especially walking) that the elderly participated in, and the influence on their Body Mass Index(BMI). The results show that, in addition to age and preference for high-calorie diet, whether there is convenient access to leisure and fitness places from where they live, and the corresponding distance in-between are significantly related to the BMI of the elderly. Particularly, the best distance range is less than 1,000 m, within which leisure and fitness places have significant impact on the BMI of the elderly and the influence shows distance decay. 2Screening of Potential Biomarkers for Gastric Cancer with Diagnostic Value Using Label-free Global Proteome Analysis显示文摘Gastric cancer(GC)is known as a top malignant type of tumors worldwide.Despite the recent decrease in mortality rates,the prognosis remains poor.Therefore,it is necessary to find novel biomarkers with early diagnostic value for GC.In this study,we present a large-scale proteomic analysis of 30 GC tissues and 30 matched healthy tissues using label-free global proteome profiling.Our results identified 537 differentially expressed proteins,including 280 upregulated and 257 downregulated proteins.The ingenuity pathway analysis(IPA)results indicated that the sirtuin signaling pathway was the most activated pathway in GC tissues whereas oxidative phosphorylation was the most inhibited.Moreover,the most activated molecular function was cellular movement,including tissue invasion by tumor cell lines.Based on IPA results,15 hub proteins were screened.Using the receiver operating characteristic curve,most of hub proteins showed a high diagnostic power in distinguishing between tumors and healthy controls.A four-protein(ATP5B-ATP5O-NDUFB4-NDUFB8)diagnostic signature was built using a random forest model.The area under the curve(AUC)values of this model were 0.996 and 0.886 for the training and testing sets,respectively,suggesting that the four-protein signature has a high diagnostic power.This signature was further tested with independent datasets using plasma enzyme-linked immune sorbent assays,resulting in an AUC value of 0.778 for distinguishing GC tissues from healthy controls,and using immunohistochemical tissue microarray analysis,resulting in an AUC value of 0.805.In conclusion,this study identifies potential biomarkers and improves our understanding of the pathogenesis,providing novel therapeutic targets for GC.Yongxi Song Jun Wang Jingxu Sun Xiaowan Chen Jinxin Shi Zhonghua Wu Dehao Yu Fei Zhang Zhenning Wang 2020Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2020,18,6:1
3Highly in-plane anisotropy of thermal transport in suspended ternary chalcogenide Ta_(2)NiS_(5)显示文摘Energy dissipation has always been an attention-getting issue in modern electronics and the emerging low-symmetry two-dimensional(2D)materials are considered to have broad prospects in solving the energy dissipation problem.Herein the thermal transport of a typical 2D ternary chalcogenide Ta_(2)NiS_(5) is investigated.For the first time we have observed strongly anisotropic in-plane thermal conductivity towards armchair and zigzag axes of suspended few-layer Ta_(2)NiS_(5) flakes through Raman thermometry.For 7-nm-thick Ta_(2)NiS_(5) flakes,theκz i g z a g is 4.76 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1) andκa r m c h a i r is 7.79 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1),with a large anisotropic ratio(κa r m c h a i r/κz i g z a g)of 1.64 mainly ascribed to different phonon mean-free-paths along armchair and zigzag axes.Moreover,the thickness dependence of thermal anisotropy is also discussed.As the flake thickness increases,theκa r m c h a i r/κz i g z a g reduces sharply from 1.64 to 1.07.This could be attributed to the diversity in phonon boundary scattering,which decreases faster in zigzag direction than in armchair direction.Such anisotropic property enables heat flow manipulation in Ta_(2)NiS_(5) based devices to improve thermal management and device performance.Our work helps reveal the anisotropy physics of ternary transition metal chalcogenides,along with significant guidance to develop energy-efficient next generation nanodevices.Yue Su Chuyun Deng Jinxin Liu Xiaoming Zheng Yuehua Wei Yangbo Chen Wei Yu Xiao Guo Weiwei Cai Gang Peng Han Huang Xueao Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:1

5Construction 0D TiO_(2) nanoparticles/2D CoP nanosheets heterojunctions for enhanced photocatalytic H_(2) evolution activity显示文摘It is still of gigantic challenging to design and to optimize photocatalytic systems with cost-efficiency for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution from water splitting.Herein,noble-metal-free 2D CoP nanosheets were prepared by a phosphorization method using Co(OH)2 nanosheets as precursors,and then employed as photocatalytic cocatalyst and template to make 0D Ti O2 nanoparticles in-situ grow on the surface for construction of 0D/2D TiO_(2)/CoP hybrid by a simple hydrothermal method.The TiO2/CoP hybrid with the optimal ratio of CoP cocatalyst(1 wt.%)manifested significantly improved photocatalytic H_(2) evolution rate of 0.604 mmol g^(-1) h^(-1),which is tenfold in comparison to pure TiO2(0.06 mmol g^(-1) h^(-1).The mechanism of performance enhancement was fully investigated and supposed that 2D CoP nanosheets cocatalyst can enhance the photo-absorption and provide more active sites for water reduction reaction;furthermore,2D CoP nanosheets with smaller work function and high conductivity would form an Ohmicjunction with TiO_(2) nanoparticles,which can significantly accelerate the separation of photo-generated charge carriers and improve the exploitation of the photoexcited electrons in water redox reaction.This work is anticipated to impel more perspicacity into synthesizing innovative photocatalytic systems with 2D transition metal phosphides cocatalysts for attaining high photocatalytic H_(2) evolving pursuit.Qinqin Liu Jinxin Huang Hua Tang Xiaohui Yu Jun Shen 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,56,21:1

9The impact of market coordination on urban green total factor productivity:An analysis of the mediating effect of factor misallocation显示文摘Promoting market coordination and enhancing the efficiency of green growth is a necessity for China’s effective economic development.Using panel data from 2007 to 2020,this paper conducts a comprehensive study on 226 cities at the prefecture-level and above,combining theoretical analysis and empirical tests to systematically explore the impact of market cohesion on urban green total factor productivity(GTPF)and the mediating role of factor mismatch.Findings demonstrate that market coordination maximizes urban GTPF.At the mechanism level,factor mismatch plays a mediating role,and market coordination can enhance GTPF by addressing capital and labor mismatch.In terms of heterogeneity analysis,market coordination significantly promotes GTPF positively in the east-central region and negatively in the western region.In terms of technological progress and technical efficiency,the eastern region shows a larger significance than the central and western regions combined.In view of the above,the concept of market coordination development has been implemented to promote GTFP in cities.Yafei Wang Jinxin Yu Zihan Zhao Huanhuan Huang Xi Wang Yuhang Zheng Jun He 2023Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2023,21,3:0

13Vaspin alleviates pathological cardiac hypertrophy by regulating autophagy-dependent myocardial senescence显示文摘Background:Visceral adipose tissue-derived serine protease inhibitor(vaspin),a secretory adipokine,protects against insulin resistance.Recent studies have demonstrated that serum vaspin levels are decreased in patients with coronary artery disease and that vaspin protects against myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury and atherosclerosis.However,it remains unclear whether vaspin exerts specific effects on pathological cardiac hypertrophy.Methods:An in vivo study was conducted using a cardiac hypertrophy model established by subcutaneous injection of isoproterenol(ISO)in C57BL/6 and vaspin-ko mice.Rapamycin was administered intraperitoneally to mice,for further study.H9c2 cells and neonatal rat ventricular myocytes(NRVMs)were treated with ISO to induce hypertrophy.Human vaspin fusion protein,the proteasome inhibitor MG132,and chloroquine diphosphate were used for further mechanistic studies.Results:Here,we provide the first evidence that vaspin knockdown results in markedly exaggerated cardiac hypertrophy,fibrosis,and cardiomyocyte senescence in mice treated with ISO.Conversely,the administration of exogenous recombinant human vaspin protected NRVMs in vitro against ISO-induced hypertrophy and senescence.Furthermore,vaspin significantly potentiated the ISO-induced decrease in autophagy.Both rapamycin and chloroquine diphosphate regulated autophagy in vivo and in vitro,respectively,and participated in vaspin-mediated cardioprotection.Moreover,the PI3K-AKT-mTOR pathway plays a critical role in vaspin-mediated autophagy in cardiac tissues and NRVMs.Our data showed that vaspin downregulated the p85 and p110 subunits of PI3K by linking p85 and p110 to NEDD4L-mediated ubiquitination degradation.Conclusion:Our results show,for the first time,that vaspin functions as a critical regulator that alleviates pathological cardiac hypertrophy by regulating autophagy-dependent myocardial senescence,providing potential preventive and therapeutic targets for pathological cardiac hypertrophy.Haiying Rui Huaxiang Yu Dan Zou Kai Chi Ping Xu Xiaoshuai Song Lulu Liu Xuting Wu Jinxin Wang Li Xue 2024Emergency and Critical Care Medicine2024,4,1:0

16The role of cAMP-dependent protein kinase A in the formation of long-term memory in Bactrocera dorsalis显示文摘The cAMP-dependent protein kinase A(PKA)signaling pathway has long been considered critical for long-term memory(LTM)formation.Previous studies have mostly focused on the role of PKA signaling in LTM induction by multiple spaced conditioning with less attention to LTM induction by a single conditioning.Here,we conducted behavioral-pharmacology,enzyme immunoassay and RNA interference experiments to study the role of the PKA signaling pathway in LTM formation in the agricultural pest Bactrocera dorsalis,which has a strong memory capacity allowing it to form a two-day memory even from a single conditioning trial.We found that either blocking or activating PKA prior to conditioning pretreatment affected multiple spaced LTM,and conversely,they did not affect LTM formed by single conditioning.This was further confirmed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)and silencing of the protein kinase regulatory subunit 2 and catalytic subunit 1.Taken together,these results suggest that activating PKA during memory acquisition helps to induce the LTM formed by multiple spaced conditioning but not by a single conditioning.Our findings challenge the conserved role of PKA signaling in LTM,which provides a basis for the greater diversity of molecular mechanisms underlying LTM formation across species,as well as possible functional and evolutionary implications.Jinxin Yu Yanmin Hui Jiayi He Yinghao Yu Zhengbing Wang Siquan Ling Wei Wang Xinnian Zeng Jiali Liu 2024Journal of Integrative Agriculture2024,23,2:0
17Research on Multi-Objective Optimization Model of Industrial Microgrid Considering Demand Response Technology and User Satisfaction显示文摘In the process of wind power,coal power,and energy storage equipment participating in the operation of industrial microgrids,the stable operation of wind-storage industrial microgrids is guaranteed by considering demand response technology and user satisfaction.This paper firstly sorts out the status quo of microgrid operation optimization,and determines themain requirements for user satisfaction considering three types of load characteristics,demand response technology,power consumption benefit loss,user balance power purchase price and wind power consumption evaluation indicators in the system.Secondly,the operation architecture of the windstorage industrialmicrogrid is designed,and themulti-objective optimizationmodel of the wind-storage industrial microgrid is established with the comprehensive operating cost and user satisfaction as the target variables,and the corresponding solution method is mentioned.Finally,a typical wind-storage industrial microgrid is selected for simulation analysis,and the results showthat,(1)Considering the demand response technology,the comprehensive operating cost of the wind-storage industrial microgrid per day is 5292.63 yuan,the user satisfaction index is 0.953,and the wind power consumption rate reaches 100%.(2)By setting four scenarios,it highlights that the grid-connected operation mode is superior to the off-grid operation mode.Considering the demand response technology,the load curve can be optimized,and the time-of-use electricity price can be fully used to coordinate the operation of each unit,which enhances the wind power consumption capacity.The compromise solution of the system comprehensive operating cost and user satisfaction under the confidence level of 0.95 is obtained,namely(5343.22,0.94).(3)The frontier curve shows that in the process of model solving,it is impossible to optimize any sub-objective by changing the control variables,which proves that there is a close relationship between the comprehensive operating cost of the system and the confidence level,which can provide effective guidance for the optimal operation of industrial microgrids.Junhui Li Jinxin Zhong Kailiang Wang Yu Luo Qian Han Jieren Tan 2023Energy Engineering2023,120,4:0
18Origins,timing and introgression of domestic geese revealed by whole genome data显示文摘Background Geese are among the most important poultry species in the world.The current generally accepted hypothesis is that the European domestic geese originated from greylag geese(Anser anser),and Chinese domestic geese have two origins,most of which originated from swan geese(Anser cygnoides),and the Yili goose originated from greylag geese.To explain the origin and demographic history of geese,we selected 14 goose breeds from Europe and China and wild populations of swan and greylag geese,and whole genome sequencing data were obtained for 74 samples.Results Population structure analysis and phylogenetic trees showed that the wild ancestor of Chinese domestic geese,except for Yili,is the swan geese,and the wild ancestor of Chinese Yili and European domestic geese is greylag geese.Analysis of the demographic history suggests that the domestication of Chinese geese occurred~3499 years ago and that of the European geese occurred~7552 years ago.Furthermore,gene flow was observed between domestic geese and their wild ancestors.Analysis of introgression showed that Yili geese had been introgressed by Chinese domestic geese,and the body size of Yili geese may be influenced by introgression events of some growthrelated genes,including IGF-1.Conclusions Our study provides evidence for the origin of geese at the genome-wide level and advances the understanding of the history of goose domestication and the traits affected by introgression events.Junhui Wen Haiying Li Huie Wang Jincheng Yu Tao Zhu Jinxin Zhang Xinghua Li Zhihua Jiang Zhonghua Ning Lujiang Qu 2023Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2023,14,3:0

20Investigation of anisotropic strength criteria for layered rock mass显示文摘Layered rock mass is a type of engineering rock mass with sound mechanical anisotropy,which is generally unfavorable to the stability of underground works.To investigate the strength anisotropy of layered rock,the Mohr-Coulomb and Hoek-Brown criteria are introduced to establish the two transverse isotropic strength criteria based on Jaeger's single weak plane theory and maximum axial strain theory,and parameter determination methods.Furthermore,the sensitivity of strength parameters(K 1,K 2,and K 3)that are used to characterize the anisotropy strength of non-sliding failure involved in the strength criteria and confining pressure are investigated.The results demonstrate that strength parameters K 1 and K 2 affect the strength of layered rock samples at all bedding angles except for the bedding angle of 90°and the angle range that can cause the shear sliding failure along the bedding plane.The strength of samples at any bedding angle decreases with increasing K 1,whereas the opposite is for K 2.Except for bedding angles of 0°and 90°and the bedding angle range that can cause the shear sliding along the bedding plane,K 3 has an impact on the strength of rock samples with other bedding angles that the specimens'strength increases with increase of K 3.In addition,the strength of the rock sample increases as confining pressure rises.Furthermore,the uniaxial and triaxial tests of chlorite schist samples were carried out to verify and evaluate the strength criteria proposed in the paper.It shows that the predicted strength is in good agreement with the experimental results.To test the applicability of the strength criterion,the strength data of several types of rock in the literature are compared.Finally,a comparison is made between the fitting effects of the two strength criteria and other available criteria for layered rocks.Shuling Huang Jinxin Zhang Xiuli Ding Chuanqing Zhang Gang Han Guoqi Yu Lulu Qu 2024Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2024,16,4:0
