1Highly efficient pure white polymer light-emitting devices based on poly(N-vinylcarbazole) doped with blue and red phosphorescent dyes显示文摘Efficient white-polymer-light-emitting devices (WPLEDs) have been fabricated with a single emitting layer containing a hole-transporting host polymer,poly(N-vinylcarbzole),and an electron-transporting auxiliary,1,3-bis[(4-tert-butylphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazolyl]-phenylene,codoped with two phosphorescent dyes:Iridium(III)bis (2-(4,6-difluorophenyl)-pyridinato-N,C2') picolinate (FIrpic) and home-made Ir-G2 for blue and red emission,respectively.With the structure of ITO/PEDOT:PSS 4083(40 nm)/emission layer(80 nm)/Ba(4 nm)/Al(120 nm),the device showed a maximal luminous efficiency (LE) of 13.5 cd A-1(corresponding to an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 6.8%),and a peak power efficiency (PE) of 6.5 lm W-1 at 6.0 V.Meanwhile,the device exhibited pure white emission with Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage (CIE) coordinates of (0.34,0.35) at a current density of 12 mA cm-2,which is very close to the equi-energy white point with CIE coordinates of (0.33,0.33).The device performance can be further optimized when more balanced hole/electron injection is achieved by incorporating a lower conducting type anode buffer layer (PEDOT:PSS) and incorporating poly[(9,9-bis(3'-(N,N-dimethylamino)propyl)-2,7-fluorenene)-alt-2,7-(9,9-dioctyfluorene)] (PFN) as an electron injection layer at the cathode.The optimized device showed an LE of 24.6 cd A-1 (with an EQE of 14.1%),while the peak power efficiency reached 12.66 lm W-1.Moreover,the WPLEDs showed good electroluminescence (EL) stability over a wide range of operating current density and luminance.HU SuJun ZOU JianHua ZHOU GuiJiang LI DongYun WU HongBin SU ShiJian WONG Wai-Yeung YANG Wei PENG JunBiao CAO Yong 2011Science China Chemistry2011,54,4:4

4Highly safe and ionothermal synthesis of Ti3C2 MXene with expanded interlayer spacing for enhanced lithium storage显示文摘MXene is a rising star of two-dimensional(2D)materials for energy relative applications,however,the traditional synthesis of MXene etched by hazard HF acid or LiF+HCl mixed solution is highly dangerous with the risk of splashing or pouring liquid solutions.In this work,we developed a water-free ionothermal synthesis of 2D Ti3C2 MXene via etching pristine Ti3AlC2 MAX in low-cost choline chloride and oxalic acid based deep eutectic solvents(DES)with the presence of NH4F,thus it was highly safe and convenient to operate solid precursor and product materials at room temperature.Benefited from the low vapor pressure and solvating properties of DES,the prepared Ti3C2(denoted as DES-Ti3C2)possessed a high purity up to 98% compared with 95% for HF etched Ti3C2(denoted as HF-Ti3C2).Notably,an expanded interlayer spacing of 1.35 nm could be achieved due to the intercalation of choline cations in DES-Ti3C2,larger than that of HF-Ti3C2(0.98 nm).As a result,the DES-Ti3C2 anodes exhibited enhanced lithium storage performance,such as high reversible capacity of 208 m Ah g-1at 0.5 A g-1,and long cycle life over 400 times,outperforming most reported pure MXene anodes.The ionothermal synthesis of MXene developed here may pave a new way to safely prepare other MXene for various energy relating applications.Junbiao Wu Yu Wang Yaopeng Zhang Hao Meng Yan Xu Yide Han Zhuopeng Wang Yanfeng Dong Xia Zhang 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,8:1

12Molecular source of biomarkers by genetic engineering techniques显示文摘The mutant lacking ORF469 fragment in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803 (cyanobacterium) was created by means of DNA recombination. In its genome, ORF469, the key DNA fragment controlling the light-independent pathway of chlorophyll biosynthesis was deleted and replaced by erythromycin resistance cassette. The operation resulted in the fact that the content of chlorophyll in mutant cells was fully controlled by illumination and two kinds of cells were harvested, one is high chlorophyll with concentration of 9.427 μg · mg-1 and the other is low chlorophyll with concentration of 0.695 μg ·mg-1. They were subjected to thermal simulation respectively at 300℃ for 100 h. The alkanes biomarkers from pyrolysates were analyzed by GC-MS and main difference between high and low chlorophyll cells was found at their contents of isoprenoid hydrocarbons. Pr/nC17 and Ph/nC18 from pyrolysate of low chlorophyll cells were 0.192 and 0.216 respectively, which were about 1/3 and 1/7 of that from high chlorophyll cells. 13SARS-CoV-2-triggered mast cell rapid degranulation induces alveolar epithelial inflammation and lung injury显示文摘SARS-CoV-2 infection-induced hyper-inflammation links to the acute lung injury and COVID-19 severity.Identifying the primary mediators that initiate the uncontrolled hypercytokinemia is essential for treatments.Mast cells(MCs)are strategically located at the mucosa and beneficially or detrimentally regulate immune inflammations.In this study,we showed that SARS-CoV-2-triggered MC degranulation initiated alveolar epithelial inflammation and lung injury.SARS-CoV-2 challenge induced MC degranulation in ACE-2 humanized mice and rhesus macaques,and a rapid MC degranulation could be recapitulated with Spike-RBD binding to ACE2 in cells;MC degranulation altered various signaling pathways in alveolar epithelial cells,particularly,the induction of pro-inflammatory factors and consequential disruption of tight junctions.Importantly,the administration of clinical MC stabilizers for blocking degranulation dampened SARS-CoV-2-induced production of pro-inflammatory factors and prevented lung injury.These findings uncover a novel mechanism for SARS-CoV-2 initiating lung inflammation,and suggest an off-label use of MC stabilizer as immunomodulators for COVID-19 treatments.Meng-Li Wu Feng-Liang Liu Jing Sun Xin Li Xiao-Yan He Hong-Yi Zheng Yan-Heng Zhou Qihong Yan Ling Chen Guo-Ying Yu Junbiao Chang Xia Jin Jincun Zhao Xin-Wen Chen Yong-Tang Zheng Jian-Hua Wang 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,1:0
14Biological manipulation of eutrophication in West Yangchen Lake显示文摘This paper aims to share findings on nonclassical biomanipulation from a field study on eutrophic West Yangcheng(WY)Lake.In the forty years before 2009,cyanobacteria frequently bloomed in WY Lake,an event which has not occurred since 2009.The stocking density of filter-feeding carp was estimated to be more than 50 g/m^(3) in July after 2009,approximately double the amount observed before 2009,and the ratio of silver carp to bighead carp(SBR)increased from 0.8 to more than 1.6.Compared with the water quality between 2004 and 2007,the total nitrogen(TN)and the chlorophyll-a(Chl-a)concentration decreased while total phosphorus(TP)and transparency(SD)increased significantly after 2009(P<0.05).The decreasing Chl-a concentration was observed in Jul,Jun,May,Jul,and Mar in 2009,2010,2011,2016,and 2017,respectively.The Chl-a concentration was significantly negatively correlated with TP(P<0.05),and no significant correlation with TN was observed(P>0.05).A significant negative correlation was observed between fish yield and SD(P<0.05).The results also showed that filter-feeding carp more effectively restrained algae growth when SD was low.These results indicated that a high density of filter-feeding fish with increased SBR interfered with the driving effects of nutrients and temperature on the growth of algal biomass and then restrained bloom of algae.It may be necessary to take SD into consideration for determining the appropriate fish stocking density for the biomanipulation of algae.Chunfang Cai Jie He Wen Chen Junbiao Zhang Qianqian Wang Xuehong Song Yuantu Ye Yongling Wang Ping Wu Xiamin Cao 2019Aquaculture and Fisheries2019,4,5:0
15The bimodality of the Luzon Strait deep water显示文摘Combined conductivity-temperature-depth(CTD) casts and Argo profiles, 3 086 historical hydrocasts were used to quantify the water column characteristics in the northern South China Sea(SCS) and its adjacent waters. Based on a two-dimensional 'gravest empirical mode'(GEM), a gravitational potential(, a vertically integrated variable) was used as proxy for the vertical temperature profiles TG(p,). integrated from 8 MPa to the surface shows a close relationship with the temperature, except in the deep layer greater than 15 MPa, which was caused by the bimodal deep water in the region. The GEM temperature profiles successfully revealed the bimodality of the Luzon Strait deep water, that disparate hydrophic vertical profiles can produce distinct specific volume anomaly() in the SCS and the western Philippine Sea(WPS), but failed in the Luzon Strait, where different temperature profiles may produce a same. A significant temperature divergence between the SCS water and the WPS water confirmed that the bimodal structure is strong. The deepwater bifurcation starts at about 15 MPa, and gets stronger with increasing depth. As the only deep channel connecting the bimodal-structure waters, water column characteristics in the Luzon Strait is in between, but much closer to the SCS water because of its better connectivity with the SCS. A bimodal temperature structure below 15 MPa reveals that there was a persistent baroclinic pressure gradient driving flow through the Luzon Strait. A volume flux predicted through the Bashi Channel with the hydraulic theory yields a value of 5.62×106 m3/s using all available profiles upstream and downstream of the overflow region, and 4.03×106and 2.70×106 m3/s by exclusively using the profiles collected during spring and summer, respectively. 17Automatic Sleep Staging Algorithm Based on Random Forest and Hidden Markov Model显示文摘In the field of medical informatics,sleep staging is a challenging and timeconsuming task undertaken by sleep experts.According to the new standard of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine(AASM),the stages of sleep are divided into wakefulness(W),rapid eye movement(REM)and non-rapid eye movement(NREM)which includes three sleep stages(N1,N2 and N3)that describe the depth of sleep.This study aims to establish an automatic sleep staging algorithm based on the improved weighted random forest(WRF)and Hidden Markov Model(HMM)using only the features extracted from double-channel EEG signals.The WRF classification model focuses on reducing the bias of the imbalance data,while the HMM model focuses on improving the detection rate of sleep staging through the relationship between adjacent sleep stages.In particular,the improved weighted RF classification model can increase the recognition rate of the N1 stage.In addition,the method of removing features with low variance is used to select meaningful and contributing feature parameters for model training.This is an innovative content of this paper.The sleep EEG data are first segmented into 30 s epochs,and the feature parameters of the epoch data are extracted from the double-channel by applying continuous wavelet packet transform(WPT).Each epoch is then segmented into 29 subepochs of 2 s long with 1 s overlap,and the frequency domain features and statistical features of each subepoch are extracted.The performance of the proposed method is tested by evaluating the accuracy(AC),Kappa coefficient,Recall(R),Precision(P)and F1-score(F1).In the Sleep-EDF database,the overall AC and Kappa coefficient obtained by WRF are 93.20%and 0.890,respectively using the subject-non-independent test.In the 10 sc*and 10 st*Sleep-EDF Expanded database,the overall AC and Kappa coefficient obtained by proposed method are 91.97%and 0.874,respectively using the subject-independent test.The best AC and Kappa coefficient of single subject can reach 96.3%and 0.912,respectively.Experimental results show that the performance of the proposed method is competitive with the most current methods and results,and the recognition rate of N1 stage is significantly improved.Junbiao Liu Duanpo Wu Zimeng Wang Xinyu Jin Fang Dong Lurong Jiang Chenyi Cai 2020Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2020,,4:0

19Compositional change in human enamel irradiated with MIR free electron laser显示文摘The purpose of this study was to investigate compositional changes in human enamel irradiated with the free electron laser (FEL). The exposure on dental enamel at the wavelength of 9.64 μm was observed with the Beijing free electron laser. The distribution of elements in the irradiated or non-irradiated enamel was measured by scanning electron microscope (SEM) with energy-dispersive spectroscopy and synchrotron radiation X-ray fluorescence (SRXRF) in Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility (BSRF). The results showed that the P/Ca ratio in the ablation region of enamel at the maximum wavelength of infrared absorption was obviously smaller than that at the non-maximum wavelength. In the ablation region the ratios of P/Ca and Ca/Sr were smaller than those in the non-ablation region.
