1Electro-mechanical offset measurements of beam position monitors显示文摘Purpose The absolute beam position measurement in the booster and storage ring of the high energy photon source(HEPS)requires the offset between the electrical and mechanical centers of the beam position monitor(BPM).Method Traditionally,an RF signal is sent to an antenna or stretched wire aligned with the vacuum chamber,and the signal at each electrode is measured.Conversely,a replacement method using a vector network analyzer,which was proposed by Lambertson,does not involve mechanical alignment and can be used for electrical offset determination.Results and conclusions The electro-mechanical offsets of booster BPMs of the HEPS were measured using the Lambertson method.The result shows good agreement with the stretched wire method within a 30μm error.Jun He Yanfeng Sui Yong Li Yaoyao Du Linda Yu Junhui Yue Jianshe Cao Xujian Wang Zhe Duan Ouzheng Xiao 2023Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2023,7,2:0
2Exceptionally high genetic variance of the doubled haploid(DH)population of poplar显示文摘Doubled haploid(DH)plants have been widely used for breeding and biological research in crops.Pop ulus spp.have been used as model woody plant species for biological research.However,the induction of DH poplar plants is onerous,and limited biological or breeding work has been carried out on DH individuals or populations.In this study,we provide an effective protocol for poplar haploid induction based on an anther culture method.A total of 96 whole DH plant lines were obtained using an F1hybrid of Populus simonii×P.nigra as a donor tree.The phenotypes of the DH population showed exceptionally high variance when compared to those of half-sib progeny of the donor tree.Each DH line displayed distinct features compared to those of the other DH lines or the donor tree.Additionally,some excellent homozygous lines have the potential to be model plants in genetic and breeding studies.Caixia Liu Sui Wang Yi Liu Meng Wang Erqin Fan Chen Liu Shikai Zhang Chuanping Yang Junhui Wang Heike W.Sederoff Xiangling You Vincent L.Chiang Su Chen Ronald R.Sederoff Guanzheng Qu 2023Journal of Forestry Research2023,34,6:0
3Qu-2,a robust poplar suspension cell line for molecular biology显示文摘Populus spp.have long been used as model woody plant species for molecular biology research.However,tissues of poplar are often recalcitrant to experimental procedures for molecular studies.We generated a hormone autotrophic poplar suspension cell line from a hybrid of Populus alba×P.berolinensis‘Yinzhong’,named Qu-2.Qu-2 cells are suitable as a model biological system for studying woody plants.Qu-2 cells have many advantages over suspension cell lines derived so far from any other woody plants.Qu-2 cells are very easy to cultivate and can grow on several common plant culture media without the addition of any plant hormone.They show exceptionally high growth rates,reaching an approximately 150-fold increase in biomass after one week of culturing.Another important unique characteristic of Qu-2 cells is that they can be cryopreserved and readily reactivated.Qu-2 cells are suitable for molecular manipulations such as protoplast production,transient transformation,and RNA-seq analysis.Therefore,Qu-2 cells have the great potential to be an excellent model cell line in tree molecular biological research,ranging from physiology to gene function.The Qu-2 cells will be made available to the plant community for research.Caixia Liu Kailong Li Meng Wang Erqin Fan Chuanping Yang Junhui Wang Pengyue Fu Xiaolan Ge Heike W.Sederoff Ronald RSederoff Vincent LChiang Sui Wang Guanzheng Qu 2021Journal of Forestry Research2021,32,2:0
4Research and development of the longitudinal feedback system digital signal processing electronics in BEPCII显示文摘Background The current strategy to achieve high luminosity for high energy physics experiments is to store huge currents distributed in many bunches in circular machines such as BEPCII,so the longitudinal coupled bunch instabilities of the beam are inevitable.Purpose Therefore,a longitudinal feedback system is needed to suppress longitudinal oscillation.Otherwise,the beam energy spread will increase;the luminosity and the beam lifetime will decrease under a certain beam current.Methods For filter design of the feedback system,the time domain least square fitting(TDLSF)method is compared to the selective wave filter method;digital signal processing electronics based on commercial board have been developed and tested on BEPCII.Results The final result shows that the self-developed longitudinal feedback system can suppress the longitudinal beam oscillation at 750 mA beam current and meet the requirements of BEPCII;the restrain depth to the sidebands reaches to 40.8 dB.Di Yin Junhui Yue Huizhou Ma Jianshe Cao Shujun Wei Cunbiao Hao Yanfeng Sui Jun He Jingxia Zhao Zhi Liu 2021Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2021,5,2:0
5Therapeutic sponge prevents postoperative breast cancer recurrence by sustainably dissociating into CD44-targeted nanoplatform显示文摘Locoregional recurrence and distant metastasis of breast cancer still pose a significant risk for patients’survival.To address the clinical challenge,functional absorbable sponges(HA-SH/PP-Dox/Lap/COL I(HCNPs))were constructed by biomimetic extracellular matrix of collagen I/hyaluronic acid complex conjugated with doxorubicin/lapatinib(Dox/Lap)-loaded nanoparticles.The HCNPs sponge exhibited excellent clotting ability and blood absorption rate.Worthily,Dox/Lap-loaded nanoparticles were synchronously endowed with a large number of oligo hyaluronic acid segments after degradation,which thus enhanced the ability of targeting into CD44-overexpressed tumor cells.The implantable HCNPs sponge in resected cavity of postoperative 4T1 models inhibited the spread of scattered tumor cells by absorbing the inevitable bleeding.More importantly,CD44 targeted nanoparticle with suitable Dox/Lap proportion continuously released from sponge to kill tumor cells of surrounding HCNPs and those remaining at surgical margin,thus prevented local recurrence as well as distant metastasis.Therefore,the functional HCNPs sponge might provide a safer and more effective strategy for postoperative treatment of cancer.Junhui Sui Mingda Zhao Zhihao Guo Jiafeng Li Jie Chen Hongli Chen Jie Liang Yong Sun Xingdong Zhang Yujiang Fan 2024Nano Research2024,17,3:0

7Automatic test system development for digital beam position monitor of HEPS and BEPCII显示文摘Purpose Hundreds of digital beam position monitor processors(DBPM)are required to be produced during the construction of projects such as High Energy Photon Source(HEPS)and the upgrade project of the Beijing Electron Positron Collider(BEPCII),which brings great challenges to the test work.In order to achieve accurate,fast,and complete mass production tests of DBPMs,an automatic test system(ATS)has been developed in this article.Methods According to the test items of DBPM,the standardized testing softwareflow is designed based on virtual instru-ment program control technology and experimental physics and industrial control system(EPICS),which realize automatic adjustment of test parameters and automatic acquisition of test result data.Results and conclusions The ATS can realize one-button testing of channel coefficients,channel linearity,attenuator linearity,beam current dependence(BCD)and sampling signal-to-noise ratio(SNR),and generate test reports.The total test time is less than 3 minutes,which is significantly more efficient compared to manual testing.More than 90 BEPCII DBPMs has been tested by this ATS in the lab.The test results proved that such a system could automatically recognize defective products and satisfy the requirements of mass testing.Xuhui Tang Yaoyao Du Jianshe Cao Shujun Wei Zhi Liu Qiang Ye Huizhou Ma Jing Yang Guodong Gao Yukun Li Yanfeng Sui Junhui Yue 2022Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2022,6,3:0
8Streak camera calibration for bunch length measurement at BEPC II显示文摘Purpose Streak camera is an important device for bunch length measurement.The errors introduced by streak camera should be considered in measurement.In order to accurately measure bunch length,some streak camera calibrations are studied at BEPC II.Methods In this context,the point spread function,caused by the optical system,is measured at focus mode with both deflec-tions disabled.In the same conditions,the influence of camera gain on measurement is studied.For the dual sweep mode of streak camera,a calibration method using electrical delays is applied to calibrate the beam size result.Results Firstly,a point spread function calibration 1.78 ps of streak camera optical system is obtained with focus mode.Secondly,studying the effect of camera gain on measurement,an optimal camera gain range from 506 to 662 is selected,in which the bunch length measurement error is within 0.5 ps.Thirdly,a dual sweep calibration factor 1.02 is obtained.Conclusions For BEPCII bunch length,there is a little difference before and after the streak camera calibrations.However,for the accurate measurement of ultra-short bunch length,the calibrations are of great significance.Wan Zhang Dechong Zhu Yanfeng Sui Huizhou Ma Junhui Yue Jianshe Cao 2021Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2021,5,3:0

10Design and simulation of cavity BPM for BEPCII显示文摘Background In the linac of Beijing Electron Positron Collider II(BEPCII),the resolution of existing BPMs is several hundred microns.But the requirement of transverse position resolution of BPM for future top-up injection needs to be more precise.Purpose This paper is mainly concerned about the design and simulation of the cavity beam position monitor(CBPM)for BEPCII linac and free electron laser(FEL).The requirement of beam transverse position resolution for linac is several microns,even a few nanometers for FEL.Methods When the beam bunch goes through the CBPM,it can excite different electromagnetic field modes in resonator.In these modes,TM_(110) is the most sensitive to beam transverse position offset.The design of CBPM is aim to analyze the relationship between TM_(110) and beam transverse position by CST Studio and Ansys HFSS.Conclusion In this research,we design a pair of rectangular slots for position cavity to revise the direction of electromagnetic field.The simulation result of theoretical resolution is able to reach 15 nm@1nC with the operating frequency 2500 MHz.It is obviously that CBPM has more excellent resolution than all of operating BPM in BEPCII.Meanwhile,the research of CBPM improves the application of beam detection technology in BEPCII and accumulates technology for future design of HEPS and FEL.The mechanical design of the prototype is being fabricated.Jiashen Zhou Jianshe Cao Yanfeng Sui Junhui Yue Jun He 2019Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2019,3,3:0
