Partial Discharge Measurement and Analysis in High Voltage IGBT Modules Under DC Voltage显示文摘Insulation performance of high voltage IGBT modules is one of the key attributes in power system applications. However, the existing standards of IGBT devices and research on the evaluation of insulation performance of high voltage IGBT modules are insufficient;for example, partial discharge resistance under DC voltage blocking condition is not considered. In this paper,a new test was proposed to allow the measurement of partial discharges in all the components of IGBT modules under DC voltage. The topology of the measuring circuit is arranged in the polarity discrimination way to exclude the interference, and the voltage and discharge current waveforms during the partial discharge process are measured by the wideband time domain measurement technique.According to the proposed test, the discharge phenomenon of the IGBT modules below the rating voltage were detected.A comprehensive waveform analysis on the voltage and discharge current was performed, and the influence of the applied voltage on the waveform parameters was obtained. The waveform parameters are influenced by the applied voltage and insulation structure, which enables the discrimination of the causes of the observed partial discharge in the IGBT module under DC voltage by the waveform analysis technique.Based on the waveform analysis technique, the types and causes of the observed partial discharges were discussed and inferred, and the correctness of the inference was further verified by observation. The proposed test and waveform analysis technique provide the possibility to evaluate and distinguish partial discharges in the high voltage IGBT module under DC voltage, which may be helpful to insulation performance evaluation and insulation defect diagnosis in high voltage IGBT module. | Pengyu Fu Zhibin Zhao Xiang Cui Teng Wen Haoyu Wang Xuebao Li Peng Zhang | 2018 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,4: | 9
An area-based position and attitude estimation for unmanned aerial vehicle navigation显示文摘The paper aims to challenge non-GPS navigation problems by using visual sensors and geo-referenced images. An area-based method is proposed to estimate full navigation parameters(FNPs), including attitude, altitude and horizontal position, for unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) navigation. Our method is composed of three main modules: geometric transfer function, local normalized sobel energy image(LNSEI) based objective function and simplex-simulated annealing(SSA) based optimization algorithm. The adoption of relatively rich scene information and LNSEI, makes it possible to yield a solution robustly even in the presence of very noisy cases, such as multi-modal and/or multi-temporal images that differ in the type of visual sensor, season, illumination, weather, and so on, and also to handle the sparsely textured regions where features are barely detected or matched. Simulation experiments using many synthetic images clearly support noise resistance and estimation accuracy, and experimental results using 2367 real images show the maximum estimation error of 5.16(meter) for horizontal position, 9.72(meter) for altitude and 0.82(degree) for attitude. | LIU XiaoChun WANG Hou FU Dan YU QiFeng GUO PengYu LEI ZhiHui SHANG Yang | 2015 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2015,58,5: | 7

LIM domain proteins Pinch1/2 regulate chondrogenesis and bone mass in mice显示文摘The LIM domain-containing proteins Pinch1/2 regulate integrin activation and cell–extracellular matrix interaction and adhesion. Here,we report that deleting Pinch1 in limb mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)and Pinch2 globally(double knockout;dKO)in mice causes severe chondrodysplasia, while single mutant mice do not display marked defects.Pinch deletion decreases chondrocyte proliferation, accelerates cell differentiation and disrupts column formation.Pinch loss drastically reduces Smad2/3 protein expression in proliferative zone(PZ)chondrocytes and increases Runx2 and Col10a1 expression in both PZ and hypertrophic zone(HZ)chondrocytes.Pinch loss increases sclerostin and Rankl expression in HZ chondrocytes, reduces bone formation, and increases bone resorption, leading to low bone mass.In vitro studies revealed that Pinch1 and Smad2/3 colocalize in the nuclei of chondrocytes.Through its C-terminal region,Pinch1 interacts with Smad2/3 proteins.Pinch loss increases Smad2/3 ubiquitination and degradation in primary bone marrow stromal cells(BMSCs).Pinch loss reduces TGF-β-induced Smad2/3 phosphorylation and nuclear localization in primary BMSCs.Interestingly, compared to those from single mutant mice,BMSCs from dKO mice express dramatically lower protein levels ofβ-catenin and Yap1/Taz and display reduced osteogenic but increased adipogenic differentiation capacity. Finally, ablating Pinch1 in chondrocytes and Pinch2 globally causes severe osteopenia with subtle limb shortening.Collectively, our findings demonstrate critical roles for Pinch1/2 and a functional redundancy of both factors in the control of chondrogenesis and bone mass through distinct mechanisms. | Yiming Lei Xuekun Fu Pengyu Li Sixiong Lin Qinnan Yan Yumei Lai Xin Liu Yishu Wang Xiaochun Bai Chuanju Liu Di Chen Xuenong Zou Xu Cao Huiling Cao Guozhi Xiao | 2020 | Bone Research2020,8,4: | 2
Influence of frequency on the surface discharge characteristics of PEEK under positive repetitive square voltage显示文摘In this study, the surface discharge current pulses of polyetheretherketone (PEEK) material under positive repetitive square voltage in a nitrogen atmosphere are measured. The influences of different voltage amplitudes and frequencies on the detail parameters of forward discharge and backward discharge current pulses are statistically analysed. The results show that as the square voltage amplitude increases, the current pulse amplitude, fall time and pulse width of both forward and backward discharge current increase, and the rise time does not change significantly. As the voltage frequency increases, current pulse amplitude, fall time and pulse width of both forward and backward discharge current decrease, and the rise time does not change significantly. Due to the independence of the discharge at different repetitive cycles, the specific discharge process in one cycle is analysed in detail to explain the influence mechanism of the voltage amplitude and frequency on the discharge current. By mean of the Richardson-Schottky and the Cavallini relaxation model, the relationship between discharge voltage ratio and surface charge, and the decay process of surface discharge are analysed. Furthermore, the influences of amplitude and frequency of the positive repetitive square voltage on the PEEK surface current pulses are explained qualitatively. | Zhuodong Yang Xuebao Li Xiangrui Meng Zhibin Zhao Pengyu Fu Bin Zhai Xiang Cui | 2020 | High Voltage2020,5,6: | 2
Chemically bonded multi-nanolayer inorganic aerogel with a record-low thermal conductivity in a vacuum显示文摘Inorganic aerogels have exhibited many superior characteristics with extensive applications, but are still plagued by a nearly century-old tradeoff between their mechanical and thermal properties. When reducing thermal conductivity by ultralow density, inorganic aerogels generally suffer from large fragility due to their brittle nature or weak joint crosslinking, while enhancing the mechanical robustness by material design and structural engineering, they easily sacrifice thermal insulation and stability. Here,we report a chemically bonded multi-nanolayer design and synthesis of a graphene/amorphous boron nitride aerogel to address this typical tradeoff to further enhance mechanical and thermal properties.Attributed to the chemically bonded interface and coupled toughening effect, our aerogels display a low density of 0.8 mg cm-3 with ultrahigh flexibility(elastic compressive strain up to 99%and bending strain up to 90%),and exceptional thermostability(strength degradation<3%after sharp thermal shocks),as well as the lowest thermal conductivities in a vacuum(only 1.57 mW m-1 K-1 at room temperature and 10.39 mW m-1 K-1 at500℃)among solid materials to date. This unique combination of mechanical and thermal properties offers an attractive material system for thermal superinsulation at extreme conditions. | Hongxuan Yu Menglin Li Yuanpeng Deng Shubin Fu Jingran Guo Han Zhao Jianing Zhang Shixuan Dang Pengyu Zhang Jian Zhou Dizhou Liu Duola Wang Chuanwei Zhang Menglong Hao Xiang Xu | 2023 | National Science Review2023,10,10: | 0
Carbonaceous ceramic nanofibrous aerogels for high-temperature thermal superinsulation显示文摘Ultralight ceramic aerogels are attractive thermal superinsulating materials, but display a formidable tradeoff between low and high temperature thermal conductivity(κ)due to their low-density features.Embedding carbon species as infrared opacifier in ultralight ceramic aerogels can substantially reduce the thermal radiation heat transfer without compromising the ultralow solid conduction. However, the oxidation resistance of embedded carbon species still remains inadequate to prevent thermal etching at high temperatures.Herein,we report a carbonaceous design and synthesis of ceramic nanofibrous aerogels with amorphous carbon embedded in the yttrium-stabilized zircon nanofibers to achieve a high-temperature thermal superinsulating performance with robust thermomechanical stability. The aerogels display one of the lowestκof 95 mW·m^(−1)·K^(-1)at 1,000℃in air among ultralight material family,as well as robust mechanical flexibility with up to 95%compressive strain,30%non-linear fracture strain, and 99%bending strain, and high thermal stability with ultralow strength degradation less than 1%after sharp thermal shocks(240℃·s^(-1))and working temperature up to 1,200℃.The combined high-temperature thermal superinsulating and thermomechanical properties offer an attractive material system for robust thermal insulation under extreme conditions. | Shubin Fu Dizhou Liu Yuanpeng Deng Jingran Guo Han Zhao Jian Zhou Pengyu Zhang Hongxuan Yu Shixuan Dang Jianing Zhang Hui Li Xiang Xu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,4: | 0
Atomically Dispersed Iron Active Sites Promoting Reversible Redox Kinetics and Suppressing Shuttle Effect in Aluminum-Sulfur Batteries显示文摘Rechargeable aluminum-sulfur(Al-S)batteries have been considered as a highly potential energy storage system owing to the high theoretical capacity, good safety, abundant natural reserves, and low cost of Al and S.However, the research progress of Al-S batteries is limited by the slow kinetics and shuttle effect of soluble polysulfides intermediates.Herein,an interconnected free-standing interlayer of iron sin-gle atoms supported on porous nitrogen-doped carbon nanofibers(FeSAs-NCF)on the separator is developed and used as both catalyst and chemical barrier for Al-S batteries. The atomically dispersed iron active sites(Fe-N_(4))are clearly identified by aberration-corrected high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy and X-ray absorption near-edge structure. The Al-S battery with the FeSAs-NCF shows an improved specific capacity of 780 mAh g^(−1)and enhanced cycle stability. As evidenced by experimental and theoretical results, the atomically dispersed iron active centers on the separator can chemically adsorb the polysulfides and accelerate reaction kinetics to inhibit the shuttle effect and promote the reversible conversion between aluminum polysulfides, thus improving the electrochemical performance of the Al-S battery. This work provides a new way that can not only promote the conversion of aluminum sulfides but also suppress the shuttle effect in Al-S batteries. | Fei Wang Min Jiang Tianshuo Zhao Pengyu Meng Jianmin Ren Zhaohui Yang Jiao Zhang Chaopeng Fu Baode Sun | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,10: | 0
Qu-2,a robust poplar suspension cell line for molecular biology显示文摘Populus spp.have long been used as model woody plant species for molecular biology research. However, tissues of poplar are often recalcitrant to experimental procedures for molecular studies. We generated a hormone autotrophic poplar suspension cell line from a hybrid of Populus alba×P.berolinensis‘Yinzhong’,named Qu-2.Qu-2 cells are suitable as a model biological system for studying woody plants.Qu-2 cells have many advantages over suspension cell lines derived so far from any other woody plants.Qu-2 cells are very easy to cultivate and can grow on several common plant culture media without the addition of any plant hormone. They show exceptionally high growth rates, reaching an approximately 150-fold increase in biomass after one week of culturing.Another important unique characteristic of Qu-2 cells is that they can be cryopreserved and readily reactivated.Qu-2 cells are suitable for molecular manipulations such as protoplast production, transient transformation, and RNA-seq analysis.Therefore,Qu-2 cells have the great potential to be an excellent model cell line in tree molecular biological research, ranging from physiology to gene function. The Qu-2 cells will be made available to the plant community for research. | Caixia Liu Kailong Li Meng Wang Erqin Fan Chuanping Yang Junhui Wang Pengyue Fu Xiaolan Ge Heike W.Sederoff Ronald RSederoff Vincent LChiang Sui Wang Guanzheng Qu | 2021 | Journal of Forestry Research2021,32,2: | 0
Air-Stable Binary Hydrated Eutectic Electrolytes with Unique Solvation Structure for Rechargeable Aluminum-Ion Batteries显示文摘Aluminum-ion batteries(AIBs)have been highlighted as a potential alternative to lithium-ion batteries for large-scale energy storage due to the abundant reserve, light weight, low cost, and good safety of Al.However, the development of AIBs faces challenges due to the usage of AlCl_(3)-based ionic liquid electrolytes, which are expensive, corrosive, and sensitive to humidity. Here,we develop a low-cost,non-corrosive,and air-stable hydrated eutectic electrolyte composed of aluminum perchlorate nonahydrate and methylurea(MU)ligand.Through optimizing the molar ratio to achieve the unique solvation structure, the formed Al(ClO_4)_(3)·9H_(2)O/MU hydrated deep eutectic electrolyte(AMHEE)with an average coordination number of 2.4 can facilely realize stable and reversible deposition/stripping of Al.When combining with vanadium oxide nanorods positive electrode, the Al-ion full battery delivers a high discharge capacity of 320 mAh g^(-1)with good capacity retention. The unique solvation structure with a low desolvation energy of the AMHEE enables Al^(3+)insertion/extraction during charge/discharge processes, which is evidenced by in situ synchrotron radiation X-ray diffraction. This work opens a new pathway of developing low-cost,safe,environmentally friendly and high-performance electrolytes for practical and sustainable AIBs. | Pengyu Meng Jian Huang Zhaohui Yang Min Jiang Yibo Wang Wei Zhang Jiao Zhang Baode Sun Chaopeng Fu | 2023 | Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,10: | 0
Role of Intracellular Distribution of Feline and Bovine SAMHD1 Proteins in Lentiviral Restriction显示文摘Human SAMHD1(h SAM)restricts lentiviruses at the reverse transcription step through its d NTP triphosphohydrolase(d NTPase)activity.Besides humans, several mammalian species such as cats and cows that carry their own lentiviruses also express SAMHD1.However,the intracellular distribution of feline and bovine SAMHD1(f SAM and b SAM)and its significance in their lentiviral restriction function is not known. Here,we demonstrated that f SAM and b SAM were both predominantly localized to the nucleus and nuclear localization signal(11KRPR14)-deleted f SAM and b SAM relocalized to the cytoplasm. Both cytoplasmic f SAM and b SAM retained the antiviral function against different lentiviruses and cytoplasmic f SAM could restrict Vpx-encoding SIV and HIV-2 more efficiently than its wild-type(WT)protein as cytoplasmic h SAM.Further investigation revealed that cytoplasmic f SAM was resistant to Vpx-induced degradation like cytoplasmic h SAM,while cytoplasmic b SAM was not,but they all demonstrated the same in vitro d NTPase activity and all could interact with Vpx as their WT proteins, indicating that cytoplasmic h SAM and f SAM can suppress more SIV and HIV-2 by being less sensitive to Vpx-mediated degradation. Our results suggested that f SAM-and b SAM-mediated lentiviral restriction does not require their nuclear localization and that f SAM shares more common features with h SAM.These findings may provide insights for the establishment of alternative animal models to study SAMHD1 in vivo. | Chu Wang Lina Meng Jialin Wang Kaikai Zhang Sizhu Duan Pengyu Ren Yingzhe Wei Xinyu Fu Bin Yu Jiaxin Wu Xianghui Yu | 2021 | Virologica Sinica2021,36,5: | 0
