| 3 | Design and application of a small electrode experimental installation for resistivity measurement of mineral and solid insulating material显示文摘There has not been an effective method to measure the resistivity of small-size sample of mineral and solid insulating material until now.According to the Chinese National Standard(GB/T1410-2006) and features of digital high resistance meter,a small electrode experimental installation was developed;it can work with current high resistance meter;the sample decreases to 18 mm from standard size 100 mm in diameter and reduces by 30.86 times in area.A three-electrode system is supported and precisely positioned by two insulating bases whose diameter is 60 mm and height is 20 mm,which ensures accuracy of device structure and reliability of measuring results.The key technological parameters are as follows:diameter of high voltage electrode is 18mm;diameter of measuring electrode is 14.6 mm;internal diameter and external diameter of guard electrode are 16 and 18 mm,respectively;the gap between guard electrode and measuring electrode is set at 0.6 mm.These parameters are adequate for the measurement of flat specimen of mineral and solid insulating material whose diameter is 18 mm.According to the confirmatory experiment on the volume resistivity and surface resistivity,the measuring results are almost the same,using a small electrode experimental installation and a standard electrode. | WANG Ling LUO Ke LI ZiQiang GUAN SongYun GE Wei ZHANG JunYuan | 2011 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,4: | 8 |
| 4 | Optimization of Vehicle Side Curtain Airbag Module Based on Computer Aided Engineering显示文摘Compared with other kinds of airbags,curtain airbag(CAB) has more complex structures and larger coverage area. The product development process depends on many module tests,sled tests and full size vehicle tests. Computer aided engineering(CAE) technology can replace tests to a great extent,also save test costs and product development time. This paper introduces the way of setting up simulation models and application of static deployment tests and free motion headform(FMH) tests to verify simulation models. In the CAB simulation,uniform pressure airbag models and computational fluid dynamics(CFD) models are all used. The uniform pressure airbag models are not able to simulate the pressure difference among different parts inside the cushion during inflating process. CFD-based CAB models are used to help the curtain airbag optimization design. Based on effective CAE simulation,the optimization analyses related to diffuser tube parameters,inflator mass flow rate and cushion folding patterns are discussed and performed in different cases. | 6 | Extended tacrolimus release via the combination of lipid-based solid dispersion and HPMC hydrogel matrix tablets显示文摘The objective of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of obtaining extended release of tacrolimus by a novel combination of lipid-based solid dispersion and matrix-type extended release tablet techniques. Tacrolimus solid dispersion was prepared using glycerylbehenate(Compritol~?ATO888) and Pluronic F127 as the carrier materials with hot-melt method, which was then blended with hydrogel matrix materials, such as HPMC and lactose, the powders were directly compressed into tablets. In vitro drug release tests were carried out to evaluate the performance of the solid dispersions and the tablets. The dissolution rate of tacrolimus was significantly improved by the lipid-based solid dispersion, and the incorporation of HPC into the solid dispersion obviously improved its stability after storage. Extended release tablets loaded with tacrolimus solid dispersion showed prolonged drug release patterns over 24 h, the release patterns of the tablets can be tailored by the compositions of the matrix materials, including the types and content of HPMCs. A modified processing method that directly mixed the melted solid dispersion with HPMC powders improved the uniformity of the solid dispersion inside the tablet matrix and release profile. The release data of the extended release tablet fitted well to the Korsmeyer–Peppas model with n value of 0.85, which suggested diffusion-and erosion-controlled release mechanism. | 8 | Structure-activity relationship optimization for lassa virus fusion inhibitors targeting the transmembrane domain of GP2显示文摘Dear Editor,Lassa virus(LASV)belongs to the Mammarenavirus genus,Arenaviridae family.Arenaviruses are classified into two main groups-Old World(OW)and New World(NW)-based on virus genetics,serology,antigenic properties and geographical relationships.The OW LASV and Lujo virus(LUJV),as well as NW Jurn'n virus(JUNV),Machupo virus(MACV),Guanarito virus(GTOV),Sabia virus(SABV)and Chapare virus(CHAPV),are known to cause severe hemorrhagic fever and are listed as biosafety level 4(BSL-4)agents.The arenavirus glycoprotein complex(GPC)contains three subunits-the retained stable-signal peptide(SSP),the receptor-binding subunit GP1,and the membrane fusion subunit GP2(Lenz et al.,2001).Notably,the proximate external membrane region and TM of GP2,together with the ectodomain loop and TMs of SSP,form an SSP-GP2 interface,playing essential roles in regulating membrane fusion,and providing targets for distinct fusion inhibitors(Larson et al.,2008;Lee et al.,2008;York et al.,2008;York and Nunberg,2009;Thomas et al.,2011;Burgeson et al.,2013a;Shankar et al.,2016;Wang et al.,2016;Wang et al.,2018).Among these inhibitors,ST-161 is LASV specific(Burgeson et al.,2013a).In this study,we conducted structure-activity relationship(SAR)optimization of ST-161.As a result,21 derivatives with IC50 values<1 pmol/L are presented in Table S1.Hit compounds 21,29 and 57 exhibiting robust inhibition of the LASV pseudotype virus(LASVpv,VSV backbone enveloped by LASV GPC with single cycle infection)entry with IC50 values lower than 0.2 nmol/L(Figs.1A and S1),as well as hit compound 72 with an ester bond instead of acylhydrazone,were further investigated.To test whether the four hit compounds inhibit LASV entry by blocking the GPC-mediated membrane fusion,the inhibition effects of these compounds against LASV GPC mediated fusion were quantitatively determined by dual-luciferase assay(Thomas et al.,2011;Wang et al.,2018). | Guangshun Zhang Junyuan Cao Yan Cai Yang Liu Yanli Li Peilin Wang Xiaoying Jia Mengmeng Zhang Gengfu Xiao Yu Guo Wei Wang | 2019 | Protein & Cell2019,10,2: | 3 |

| 13 | Liver Function Derangement in Patients with Severe Fever and Thrombocytopenia Syndrome显示文摘Background and Aims:Patients with severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome(SFTS)commonly show liver function impairment.This study aimed to characterize the liver function indices in SFTS patients and investigate their association with mortality.Methods:Clinical information and laboratory results of 459 laboratory-confirmed SFTS patients,including 78 deceased and 381 surviving patients,were retrospectively analyzed.To explore the infectivity of SFTS caused by novel Bunyavirus(SFTSV)in hepatocytes,Huh7 human hepatoma cells were infected with various concentrations of SFTSV in vitro.Results:The proportion of SFTS patients developing liver injury during hospitalization was 73.2%(336/459);the hepatocellular injury was the predominant type.The median time to occurrence of liver injury from disease onset was 8 d.Liver injury in the deceased group occurred earlier than that in the surviving group.Alanine aminotransferase(ALT)level between 2–5 times upper limit of normal(ULN)at 4–6 d and between 5–15 ULN at 7–12 d of disease course were independent predictors of mortality.Alkaline phosphatase(ALP)>2 ULN at 7–9 d and elevated ALP at 10–12 days after disease onset were risk factors for death.ALT and aspartate transaminase(AST)levels were correlated with lymphocyte count and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR).Total bilirubin(TB),ALT,AST levels showed positive correlation with viral load.In the in vitro experiment,SFTSV infected and replicated inside Huh7 cells.Conclusions:Liver injury is common in SFTS patients.ALT and ALP were independent predictors of SFTS-related mortality.Frequent monitoring and evaluation of liver function indices are needed for SFTS patients. | Sihong Lu Ling Xu Boyun Liang Hua Wang Tong Wang Tiandan Xiang Sumeng Li Lei Fan Junyuan Li Cheng Peng Xin Zheng | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,5: | 1 |

| 19 | Boosting acidic water oxidation performance by constructing arrays-like nanoporous Ir_(x)Ru_(1−x)O_(2) with abundant atomic steps显示文摘The fabrication of electrocatalysts with high activity and acid stability for acidic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is an urgent need,yet extremely challenging.Here,we report the design and successful fabrication of a high performance self-supported cogwheel arrays-like nanoporous Ir_(x)Ru_(1−x)O_(2) catalyst with abundant atomic steps for acidic OER using a facile alloy-spinningelectrochemical activation method that allows large-scale fabrication.The obtained Ir_(x)Ru_(1−x)O_(2) catalysts merely need overpotentials of 211 and 295 mV to deliver catalytic current densities of 10 and 300 mA·cm^(−2) in 0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4),respectively,and can sustain constant OER electrolysis for at least 140 h at a high current density of 300 mA·cm^(−2).Further density functional theory(DFT)calculations uncover that such high intrinsic activities mainly originate from the largely exposed high-index atomic step planes,which markedly lower the limiting potential of the rate-determining step(RDS)of OER.These findings provide an insight into the exploration of high performance electrocatalysts,and open up an avenue for further developing the state-of-theart Ir and/or Ru-based catalysts for large-scale practical applications. | Junjie Li Zan Lian Qiang Li Zhongchang Wang Lifeng Liu Francis Leonard Deepak Yanping Liu Bo Li Junyuan Xu Zuxin Chen | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,7: | 0 |
