1Reciprocal Screw Theory Based Singularity Analysis of a Novel 3-DOF Parallel Manipulator显示文摘Singularity analysis is an essential issue for the development and application of parallel manipulators.Most of the existing researches focus on the singularity of parallel manipulators are carried out based on the study of Jacobian matrices.A 3-DOF parallel manipulator with symmetrical structure is presented.The novel parallel manipulator employs only revolute joints and consists of four closed-loop subchains connecting to both base and platform via revolute joints.The closed-loop subchain in each chain-leg is a spherical 6R linkage.The motion characteristics of the output link in the spherical 6R linkage with symmetrical structure are analyzed based on the interrelationships between screw systems.The constraints that are exerted on the platform by each chain-leg are investigated applying the concept of generalized kinematic pair in terms of equivalent screw system.Considering the geometric characteristics of the parallel manipulator,the singularity criteria of the parallel manipulator corresponding to different configurations are revealed based on the dependency of screw system and line geometry.The existing conditions of certain configuration that a singularity must occur are determined.This paper presents a new way of singularity analysis based on disposition of constraint forces on the geometrically identified constraint plane and the proposed approach is capable of avoiding the complexity in solving the Jacobian matrices.FANG Hairong FANG Yuefa ZHANG Ketao 2012Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,4:7
2Identification and Characterization of microRNA during Bemisia tabaci Infestations in Solanum lycopersicum and Solanum habrochaites显示文摘MicroRNAs(miRNAs) are a class of small non-coding RNAs that can regulate target gene expression during many plant growth and development processes. In recent years, several studies identified the miRNAs involved in fruit development, leaf development, and abiotic responses in tomato. However, little is known about the miRNAs that respond to insect attack. Here, miRNAs were identified by high-throughput sequencing at different stages after infections by the whitefly Bemisia tabaci in Solanum lycopersicum and Solanum habrochaites, which are susceptible and resistant to whitefly, respectively. A total of 44 known miRNA families were identified, and 33 were shared between the two species. Among these, 13 miRNA families were newly reported in tomato. After strict filtering, some novel miRNAs were also discovered. The global expression patterns of the miRNAs exhibited were different between the two species, reflecting their different responses and resistance levels to whitefly attack. Some of the predicted target genes of differentially expressed miRNAs may be involved in responding to, and defending against, diseases and insects. 5Entanglement in a two-spin (1/2,3/2) mixed-spin Heisenberg XX chain with an inhomogeneous external magnetic field显示文摘By using the concept of negativity, we investigate the thermal entanglement of a two-spin (1/2, 3/2) mixed-spin Heisenberg XX chain with an inhomogeneous external magnetic field. We obtain the analytical results of entanglement of this model. For the case of uniform magnetic field, we find that the critical temperature is higher than the results of the spin-1/2 chain and (1/2,1) mixed-spin chain. 6Synthesis of layered double hydroxides/graphene oxide nanocomposite as a novel high-temperature CO_2 adsorbent显示文摘In this contribution, a novel high-temperature CO2 adsorbent consisting of Mg-Al layered double hydroxide(LDH) and graphene oxide(GO)nanosheets was prepared and evaluated. The nanocomposite-type adsorbent was synthesized based on the electrostatically driven self-assembly between positively charged Mg-Al LDH single sheet and negatively charged GO monolayer. The characteristics of this novel adsorbent were investigated using XRD, FE-SEM, HRTEM, FT-IR, BET and TGA. The results showed that both the CO2 adsorption capacity and the multicycle stability of LDH were increased with the addition of GO owing to the enhanced particle dispersion and stabilization. In particular, the absolute CO2 capture capacity of LDH was increased by more than twice by adding 6.54 wt% GO as support. GO appeared to be especially effective for supporting LDH sheets. Moreover, the CO2 capture capacity of the adsorbent could be further increased by doping with 15 wt%K2CO3. 7Landscape and Fruit Developmental Regulation of Alternative Splicing in Tomato by Genome-Wide Analysis显示文摘In eukaryotes, alternative splicing(AS) is one of the posttranscriptional regulatory mechanisms that play important roles by generating transcriptome diversity. To obtain a global view of AS and its dynamics during tomato fruit development, we analyzed the AS events using a large amount of transcriptome datasets. Same with other plant species, about half of the expressed multiexonic genes were alternatively spliced in tomato. Besides that, our further analyzation of RNA-seq datasets of ovule and pericarp at early fruit developmental stages reveals that the dynamic alteration of AS events occurred in specific tissues and AS was regulated spatially and temporally during early fruit development in tomato. By investigating the sequence variations at splice sites causing differential AS events between tomato cultivar ‘Moneymaker' and wild species Solanum pimpinellifolium PI365967, we uncover that AS may play the regulatory roles during domestication of tomato. 8Orchestrated cellular,biochemical,and biomechanical optimizations endow platelet-rich plasma-based engineered cartilage with structural and biomechanical recovery显示文摘Recently,biomaterials for cartilage regeneration has been intensively investigated.However,the development of scaffolds that capture regenerated cartilage with biomechanical and structural recovery has rarely been reported.To address this challenge,platelet-rich plasma(PRP)-based cartilage constructs with a well-orchestrated symphony of cellular,biochemical and biomechanical elements were prepared by simultaneously employing chondrogenic progenitor cells(CPCs)as a cell source,optimizing platelet concentration,and adding an enzyme-ion activator.It was shown that this triple-optimized PRP+CPC construct possessed increased biomechanical properties and suitable biochemical signals.The following in vitro study demonstrated that the triple-optimized PRP+CPC constructs generated cartilage-like tissue with higher expression levels of chondrogenic-specific markers,more deposition of cartilage-specific extracellular matrix(ECM),and greater biomechanical values than those of the other constructs.Twelve weeks after the construct was implanted in a cartilage defect in vivo,histological analysis,qPCR,and biomechanical tests collectively showed that the triple-optimized constructs yielded a more chondrocyte-like cell phenotype with a higher synthesis of Col-Ⅱand aggrecan.More importantly,the triple-optimized constructs facilitated cartilage regeneration with better biomechanical recovery than that of the other constructs.These results demonstrate the efficacy of the triple-optimization strategy and highlight the simplicity and potency of this PRP+CPC construct for cartilage regeneration.Ketao Wang Ji Li Yuxing Wang Yaqiang Wang Yuanyuan Qin Fei Yang Mingzhu Zhang Heng Zhu Zhongli Li 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,11:2

10Numerical simulation and inversion of offshore area depth based on x-band microwave radar显示文摘A detection method of offshore area depth utilizing the x-band microwave radar is proposed. The method is based on the sea clutter imaging mechanism of microwave radar, and combined with dispersion equation of the liner wave theorem and least square method(LSM), consequently get the inversion results of water depth in the detected region. The wave monitoring system OSMAR-X exploited by the Ocean State Laboratory, Wuhan University, based on a microwave radar has proven to be a powerful tool to monitor ocean waves in time and space. Numerical simulation and inversion of offshore area depth are carried out here; since JONSWAP model can give description of stormy waves in different growth phase, it is suitable for simulation. Besides, some results from measured data detected by OSMAR-X x-band radar located at Longhai of Fujian Province, China, validates this method. The tendency of the average water depths inferred from the radar images is in good agreement with the tide level detected by Xiamen tide station. These promising results suggest the possibility of using OSMAR-X to monitor operationally morphodynamics in coastal zones. 15Expression of gamma-aminobutyric acid type A receptor α_2 subunit in the dorsal root ganglion of rats with sciatic nerve injury显示文摘The γ-aminobutyric acid neurotransmitter in the spinal cord dorsal horn plays an important role in pain modulation through primary afferent-mediated presynaptic inhibition. The weakening of γ-aminobutyric acid-mediated presynaptic inhibition may be an important cause of neuropathic pain. γ-aminobutyric acid-mediated presynaptic inhibition is related to the current strength of γ-aminobutyric acid A receptor activation. In view of this, the whole-cell patch-clamp technique was used here to record the change in muscimol activated current of dorsal root ganglion neurons in a chronic constriction injury model. Results found that damage in rat dorsal root ganglion neurons following application of muscimol caused concentration-dependent activation of current, and compared with the sham group, its current strength and γ-aminobutyric acid A receptor protein expression decreased. Immunofluorescence revealed that γ-aminobutyric acid type A receptor α2 subunit protein expression decreased and was most obvious at 12 and 15 days after modeling. Our experimental findings confirmed that the γ-aminobutyric acid type A receptor α2 subunit in the chronic constriction injury model rat dorsal root ganglion was downregulated, which may be one of the reasons for the reduction of injury in dorsal root ganglion neurons following muscimol-activated currents.Yu Lian 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,32:1
