1The first offshore natural gas hydrate production test in South China Sea显示文摘Natural gas hydrates (NGH)is one of key future clean energy resources.Its industrialized development will help remit the huge demand of global natural gas,relieve the increasing pressure of the environment, and play a vital role in the green sustainable growth of human societies.Based on nearly two decades' studying on the reservoir characteristics in the South China Sea (SCS)and the knowledge of reservoir system,the China Geological Survey (CGS)conducted the first production test on an optimal target selected in Shenhu area SCS in 2017.Guided by the 'three-phase control'exploitation theory which focused on formation stabilization,technologies such as formation fluid extraction,well drilling and completing, reservoir stimulating,sand controlling,environmental monitoring,monitoring and preventing of secondary formation of hydrates were applied.The test lasted for 60 days from May 10^th when starting to pump, drop pressure and ignite to well killing on July 9^th,with gas production of 3.09×10^5 m^3 in total,which is a world record with the longest continuous duration of gas production and maximal gas yield.This successful test brings a significant breakthrough on safety control of NGH production.Jin-fa Li Jian-liang Ye Xu-wen Qin Hai-jun Qiu Neng-you Wu Hai-long Lu Wen-wei Xie Jing-an Lu Fei Peng Zhen-qiang Xu Cheng Lu Zeng-gui Kuang Jian-gong Wei Qian-yong Liang Hong-feng Lu Bei-bei Kou 2018China Geology2018,1,1:117

3Genesis of the Wulong gold deposit,Liaoning Province,NE China:Constrains from noble gases,radiogenic and stable isotope studies显示文摘TheWulong lode deposit contains over 80 tonnes of gold with an average grade of 5.35 g/t.It is one of the largest deposits in Dandong City,Liaoning Province in northeast China.Previous studies on the deposit focused on its geological characteristics,geochemistry,fluid inclusions,and the timing of gold mineralization.However,controversy remains regarding the origin of the ore-forming fluids and metals,and the genesis of the gold deposit.This paper presents zircon UePb and pyrite RbeSr ages and S,Pb,He,and Ar isotopic results along with quartz H and O isotopic data for all litho-units associated with the deposit.Laser ablation inductively coupled mass spectrometry measurements yielded zircon UePb dates for samples of pre-mineralization rocks like granite porphyry dike,the Sanguliu granodiorite,fine-grained diorite,and syn-mineralization diorite,as well as post-mineralization dolerite,and lamprophyre;their emplacement ages are 1261 Ma,1241 Ma,1231 Ma,1201 Ma,1192 Ma,and 1152 Ma,respectively.The pyrite RbeSr isochron age is 1191 Ma,indicating that both magmatism and mineralization occurred during the Early Cretaceous.The d18OH2O values of ore-forming hydrothermal fluids from the quartzepolymetallic sulfide vein stage vary from 4.8&to 6.5&,and the dDV-SMOW values are between67.7&and75.9&,indicating that the ore-forming fluids were primarily magmatic.The noble gas isotope compositions of fluid inclusions hosted in pyrite suggest that the ore-forming fluids were dominantly derived from crustal sources with minor mantle input.Sulfur isotopic values of pyrite vary between 0.2&and 3.5&,suggesting that S was derived from a homogeneous magmatic source or possibly from fluids derived from the crust.The Pb isotopic compositions of sulfides(207Pb/204Pb?15.51 e15.71,206Pb/204Pb?17.35e18.75,208Pb/204Pb?38.27e40.03)indicate that the Pb of the Wulong gold deposit is a mixture of crust and mantle components.Geochronological and geochemical data,together with the regional geological history,indicate that Early Cretaceous magmatism and mineralization of the Wulong gold deposit occurred during the rollback of the subducting Paleo-Pacific Plate,which resulted in lithospheric thinning and the destruction of the North China Craton(NCC),which indicates that the deposit is of magmaticehydrothermal origin.Peng Zhang Linlin Kou Yan Zhao Zhongwei Bi Deming Sha Renping Han Zhumin Li 2020Geoscience Frontiers2020,11,2:13
4Molecular cloning, sequence analysis, and cadmium stress-rated expression changes of BTG1 in freshwater pearl mussel(Hyriopsis schlegelii)显示文摘The B cells translocation gene 1(BTG1) is a member of the BTG/TOB family of anti-proliferative genes,which have recently emerged as important regulators of cell growth and differentiation among vertebrates.Here,for the first time we cloned the full-length cDNA sequence of Hyriopsis schlegelii(Hs-BTG1),an economically important freshwater shellfish and potential indicator of environmental heavy metal pollution,for the first time.Using rapid amplification of cDNA ends(RACE) together with splicing the EST sequence from a haemocyte cDNA library,we found that Hs-BTG1 contains a 525 bp open reading frame(ORF) encoding a 174 amino-acid polypeptide,a 306 bp 5' untranslated region(5' UTR),and a 571 bp 3' UTR with a Poly(A) tail as well as a transcription termination signal(AATAAA).Homologue searching against GenBank revealed that Hs-BTG1 was closest to Crassostrea gigas BTG1,sharing 50.57% of protein identities.Hs-BTG1 also shares some typical features of the BTG/TOB family,possessing two well-conserved A and B boxes.Clustering analysis of Hs-BTG1 and other known BTGs showed that Hs-BTG1 was also closely related to BTG1 of C.gigas from the invertebrate BTG1 clade.Function prediction via homology modeling showed that both Hs-BTG1 and C.gigas BTG1 share a similar three-dimensional structure with Homo sapiens BTG1.Tissue-specific expression analysis of the Hs-BTG1 via real-time PCR showed that the transcripts were constitutively expressed,with the highest levels in the hepatopancreas and gills,and the lowest in both haemocyte and muscle tissue.Expression levels of Hs-BTG1 in hepatopancreas(2.03-fold),mantle(2.07-fold),kidney(2.2-fold) and haemocyte(2.5-fold) were enhanced by cadmium(Cd2+) stress,suggesting that Hs-BTG1 may have played a significant role in H.schlegelii adaptation to adverse environmental conditions.Kou PENG Cheng-Yuan WANG Jun-Hua WANG Jun-Qing SHENG Jian-Wu SHI Jian LI Yi-Jiang HONG 2014Zoological Research2014,35,5:7

6Phytochrome B interacts with SWC6 and ARP6 to regulate H2A.Z deposition and photomorphogensis in Arabidopsis显示文摘Light serves as a crucial environmental cue which modulates plant growth and development, and which is controlled by multiple photoreceptors including the primary red light photoreceptor,phytochrome B(phyB). The signaling mechanism of phyB involves direct interactions with a group of basic helix-loop-helix(bHLH) transcription factors, PHYTOCHROME-INTERACTING FACTORS(PIFs), and the negative regulators of photomorphogenesis, COP1 and SPAs. H2 A.Z is an evolutionarily conserved H2 A variant which plays essential roles in transcriptional regulation. The replacement of H2 A with H2 A.Z is catalyzed by the SWR1 complex. Here, we show that the Pfr form of phyB physically interacts with the SWR1 complex subunits SWC6 and ARP6. phyB and ARP6 coregulate numerous genes in the same direction,some of which are associated with auxin biosynthesis and response including YUC9, which encodes a rate-limiting enzyme in the tryptophandependent auxin biosynthesis pathway. Moreover,phyB and HY5/HYH act to inhibit hypocotyl elongation partially through repression of auxin biosynthesis. 7Morphologic characteristics and growth interface stability of nano-micron FeS_2 whiskers显示文摘Micromorphology is further studied on the basis of our previous researches concerned with the nano-micron FeS2 whisker. There are obvious differences in the intensive degree, diameter and micromorphology among the FeS2 whiskers growing in different stages. From the early to late stage, the intensive degree increases, the diameter decreases, and the surface micro-morphology changes following the regularity: protrusive nodulation → coarse → smooth → flat. According to the theory of crystal growth, the geological setting and processes of whisker formation, we discuss the stability and evolution of crystal growth interface of FeS2 whisker occurring in Gengzhuang gold deposit (Shanxi Province, China). The results suggest that the negative temperature gradient and the supercooling appear in the early stage of the whisker growth, whereas the positive temperature gradient of reposeful state appears in the late stage. In the whisker growth stage, the component concentration changes through the three stages: severely nonhomogeneous in the early stage, relatively homogeneous in the middle stage, more homogeneous in the late stage. The general changing process of the interfacial state is from unstable to stable. Micromorphology of FeS2 whisker in Gengzhuang is the result of synergism of temperature, component concentration and stability of crystal interface phase in hydrothermal system. 8Using the spike protein feature to predict infection risk and monitor the evolutionary dynamic of coronavirus显示文摘Background:Coronavirus can cross the species barrier and infect humans with a severe respiratory syndrome.SARS-CoV-2 with potential origin of bat is still circulating in China.In this study,a prediction model is proposed to evaluate the infection risk of non-human-origin coronavirus for early warning.Methods:The spike protein sequences of 2666 coronaviruses were collected from 2019 Novel Coronavirus Resource(2019nCoVR)Database of China National Genomics Data Center on Jan 29,2020.A total of 507 human-origin viruses were regarded as positive samples,whereas 2159 non-human-origin viruses were regarded as negative.To capture the key information of the spike protein,three feature encoding algorithms(amino acid composition,AAC;parallel correlation-based pseudo-amino-acid composition,PC-PseAAC and G-gap dipeptide composition,GGAP)were used to train 41 random forest models.The optimal feature with the best performance was identified by the multidimensional scaling method,which was used to explore the pattern of human coronavirus.Results:The 10-fold cross-validation results showed that well performance was achieved with the use of the GGAP(g=3)feature.The predictive model achieved the maximum ACC of 98.18%coupled with the Matthews correlation coefficient(MCC)of 0.9638.Seven clusters for human coronaviruses(229E,NL63,OC43,HKU1,MERS-CoV,SARS-CoV,and SARS-CoV-2)were found.The cluster for SARS-CoV-2 was very close to that for SARS-CoV,which suggests that both of viruses have the same human receptor(angiotensin converting enzyme II).The big gap in the distance curve suggests that the origin of SARS-CoV-2 is not clear and further surveillance in the field should be made continuously.The smooth distance curve for SARS-CoV suggests that its close relatives still exist in nature and public health is challenged as usual.Conclusions:The optimal feature(GGAP,g=3)performed well in terms of predicting infection risk and could be used to explore the evolutionary dynamic in a simple,fast and large-scale manner.The study may be beneficial for the surveillance of the genome mutation of coronavirus in the field.Xiao-Li Qiang Peng Xu Gang Fang Wen-Bin Liu Zheng Kou 2020Infectious Diseases of Poverty2020,9,2:6
9Sirolimus as primary immunosuppressant for calcineurin inhibitor-related renal insufficiency after liver transplantation显示文摘BACKGROUND:Calcineurin inhibitor-related renal toxicity affects patient and graft survival in transplant recipients. This study aimed to determine whether sirolimus is effective and safe in treating renal insufficiency related to tacrolimus after liver transplantation. METHODS:Tacrolimus for primary immunosuppression was used in 16 patients after liver transplantation. Patients with a creatinine level higher than 132.6 μmol/L were eligible for conversion to sirolimus. Simultaneously,the dose of tacrolimus was decreased to half. Blood urea nitrogen,creatinine,tacrolimus level,liver function and rejection episodes were monitored dynamically. RESULTS:All patients showed improvement of renal function after conversion to sirolimus. Blood creatinine level was reduced from 146.8±92.4 to 105.3±71.3 μmol/L(P<0.05). One patient had an acute rejection episode that was successfully treated with pulsed corticosteroids and low-dose tacrolimus. The side-effects of sirolimus included hyperlipidemia(4 patients) and leukocytopenia(2). 12Experimental Study on New Multi-Column Tension-Leg-Type Floating Wind Turbine显示文摘Deep-water regions often have winds favorable for offshore wind turbines, and floating turbines currently show the greatest potential to exploit such winds. This work established proper scaling laws for model tests, which were then implemented in the construction of a model wind turbine with optimally designed blades. The aerodynamic,hydrodynamic, and elastic characteristics of the proposed new multi-column tension-leg-type floating wind turbine(Wind Star TLP system) were explored in the wave tank testing of a 1:50 scale model at the State Key Laboratory of Ocean Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Tests were conducted under conditions of still water, white noise waves, irregular waves, and combined wind, wave, and current loads. 13Assessment of the Biospheric Contribution to Surface Atmospheric CO_2 Concentrations over East Asia with a Regional Chemical Transport Model显示文摘A regional chemical transport model, RAMS-CMAQ, was employed to assess the impacts of biosphere–atmosphere CO2 exchange on seasonal variations in atmospheric CO2 concentrations over East Asia. Simulated CO2 concentrations were compared with observations at 12 surface stations and the comparison showed they were generally in good agreement. Both observations and simulations suggested that surface CO2 over East Asia features a summertime trough due to biospheric absorption, while in some urban areas surface CO2 has a distinct summer peak, which could be attributed to the strong impact from anthropogenic emissions. Analysis of the model results indicated that biospheric fluxes and fossil-fuel emissions are comparably important in shaping spatial distributions of CO2 near the surface over East Asia. Biospheric flux plays an important role in the prevailing spatial pattern of CO2 enhancement and reduction on the synoptic scale due to the strong seasonality of biospheric CO2 flux. 14Effect of calcium citrate on bone integration in a rabbit femur defect model显示文摘Objective:To explore effect of calcium citrate on bone integration in a rabbit femur defect model, and to compare the bone formation with different sizes by radiological and histological study. Methods:Twenty-four male Japanese white rabbits were randomly divided into three groups (Group A.B.C)in this study.Under anesthesia,defects of four sizes(1.2,1.5,2.0 and 2.5 mm) were created in each of the rabbits.Commercially pure calcium citrate powder was placed inside the medullary compartment of the femur(Experimental),while in the contralateral femur(Control) nothing was implanted.The defects were analyzed using radiography and histological analysis by using Imagepro-Plus 6.0 software after animal was sacrificed at 4th(Group A),6th(Group B) and 8th(Group C) weeks postoperatively.Four samples were analyzed for each size of defect and each healing period.Results:The histological and the radiologic evaluation were performed after sacrification of all rabbits on postoperative 4th and 6th weeks,It showed significant difference between the experimental group and the control group when these defects were less than or equal to 2.0 mm.No statistical difference was observed when these defects were larger than 2.0 mm at all healing periods except at the 4th week.Conclusions:Calcium citrate affects the early periods of hone defects healing mechanism in Japanese white rabbits positively,especially when the defect is not too large,We suggest further studies on calcium citrate to determine the effects of various dosages,administration ways and the experimental time on the bone defects.Wei Zhang Wei Wang Qing-Yu Chen Zhong-Qin Lin Shao-Wen Cheng Dong-Quan Kou Xiao-Zhou Ying Yue Shen Xiao-Jie Cheng Peng-Fei Nie Xiu-Cui Li Ferdinand An Rompis Hang Huang Hua Zhang Zhong-Lin Mu Lei Peng 2012Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2012,5,4:3
15Transarterial chemoembolization with hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy plus S-1 for hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘BACKGROUND Transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)and hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy(HAIC)have shown promising local benefits for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).S-1,a composite preparation of a 5-fluorouracil prodrug,has proven to be a convenient oral chemotherapeutic agent with definite efficacy against advanced HCC.AIM To evaluate the efficacy and safety of TACE followed by HAIC with or without oral S-1 for treating advanced HCC.METHODS In this single-center,open-label,prospective,randomized controlled trial,117 participants with advanced HCC were randomized to receive TACE followed by oxaliplatin-based HAIC either with(TACE/HAIC+S-1,n=56)or without(TACE/HAIC,n=61)oral S-1 between December 2013 and September 2017.Two participants were excluded from final analysis for withdrawing consent.The primary endpoint was progression-free survival(PFS)and secondary endpoints included overall survival(OS),objective response rate,disease control rate and safety.RESULTS In total,115 participants(100 males and 15 females;mean age,57.7 years±11.9)were analyzed.The median PFS and OS were 5.0 mo(0.4–58.6 mo)(95%confidence interval(CI):3.82 to 6.18)vs 4.4 mo(1.1–54.4 mo)(95%CI:2.54 to 6.26;P=0.585)and 8.4 mo(0.4–58.6 mo)(95%CI:6.88 to 9.92)vs 8.3 mo(1.4–54.4 m)(95%CI:5.71 to 10.96;P=0.985)in the TACE/HAIC+S-1 and TACE/HAIC groups,respectively.The objective response rate and disease control rate were 30.9%vs 18.4%and 72.7%vs 56.7%in the TACE/HAIC+S-1 and TACE/HAIC groups,respectively.Grade 3/4 adverse events had a similar frequency in both treatment groups.CONCLUSION No improvements in tumor response rates,PFS or OS were observed with the addition of S-1 to TACE/HAIC in advanced HCC.Both treatment regimens had a similar safety profile.Jian-Hai Guo Shao-Xing Liu Song Gao Fu-Xin Kou Xin Zhang Di Wu Xiao-Ting Li Hui Chen Xiao-Dong Wang Peng Liu Peng-Jun Zhang Hai-Feng Xu Guang Cao Lin-Zhong Zhu Ren-Jie Yang Xu Zhu 2020World Journal of Gastroenterology2020,26,27:3
16Numerical Simulation of CO_2 Concentrations in East Asia with RAMS-CMAQ显示文摘The regional air quality modeling system RAMS-CMAQ(Regional Atmospheric Modeling System and Models-3 Community Multi-scale Air Quality) was developed by incorporating a vegetation photosynthesis and respiration module(VPRM) and used to simulate temporal-spatial variations in atmospheric CO2 concentrations in East Asia,with prescribed surface CO2 fluxes(i.e.,fossil fuel emission,biomass burning,sea-air CO2 exchange,and terrestrial biosphere CO2 flux).Comparison of modeled CO2 mixing ratios with eight ground-based in-situ measurements demonstrated that the model was able to capture most observed CO2 temporal-spatial features.Simulated CO2 concentrations were generally in good agreement with observed concentrations.Results indicated that the accumulated impacts of anthropogenic emissions contributed more to increased CO2 concentrations in urban regions relative to remote locations.Moreover,RAMS-CMAQ analysis demonstrates that surface CO2 concentrations in East Asia are strongly influenced by terrestrial ecosystems.KOU Xing-Xia ZHANG Mei-Gen PENG Zhen 2013Atmospheric and Oceanic Science Letters2013,6,4:2

20Accounting for CO2 Variability over East Asia with a Regional Joint Inversion System and Its Preliminary Evaluation显示文摘A regional surface carbon dioxide(CO_2) flux inversion system, the Tan-Tracker-Region, was developed by incorporating an assimilation scheme into the Community Multiscale Air Quality(CMAQ) regional chemical transport model to resolve fine-scale CO_2 variability over East Asia. The proper orthogonal decomposition-based ensemble four-dimensional variational data assimilation approach(POD-4 DVar) is the core algorithm for the joint assimilation framework, and simultaneous assimilations of CO_2 concentrations and surface CO_2 fluxes are applied to help reduce the uncertainty in initial CO_2 concentrations. A persistence dynamical model was developed to describe the evolution of the surface CO_2 fluxes and help avoid the 'signal-to-noise' problem; thus, CO_2 fluxes could be estimated as a whole at the model grid scale, with better use of observation information. The performance of the regional inversion system was evaluated through a group of single-observation-based observing system simulation experiments(OSSEs). The results of the experiments suggest that a reliable performance of Tan-Tracker-Region is dependent on certain assimilation parameter choices, for example, an optimized window length of approximately 3 h, an ensemble size of approximately 100, and a covariance localization radius of approximately 320 km. This is probably due to the strong diurnal variation and spatial heterogeneity in the fine-scale CMAQ simulation, which could affect the performance of the regional inversion system. In addition, because all observations can be artificially obtained in OSSEs, the performance of Tan-Tracker-Region was further evaluated through different densities of the artificial observation network in different CO_2 flux situations. The results indicate that more observation sites would be useful to systematically improve the estimation of CO_2 concentration and flux in large areas over the model domain.
