2The Influence of Bt-Transgenic Maize Pollen on the Bacterial Diversity in the Midgut of Chinese Honeybees, Apis cerana cerana显示文摘Using culture-independent technique polymerase chain reaction-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (PCR-DGGE) and conventional culture techniques, ecological risk of transgenic maize pollen on gut bacteria of the Chinese honeybee, Apis cerana cerana, was assessed. Honeybees were fed with Bt-transgenic maize pollen, non-transgenic near isoline pollen, linear cry1Ah gene (800 ng mL-1) and supercoiled plasmid DNA (800 ng mL-1) under laboratory conditions. The DGGE profile showed that the number of DGGE bands varied from 10.7 to 14.7 per sample, and the Shannon's index ranged from 0.85 to 1.00. The similarity calculated by PAST was mostly above 92%, indicating no obvious changes among treatments or within replicates. 14 bacterial strains affiliated with Alphaproteobacteria, Gammaproteobacteria, Firmicutes, and Actinobacteria were isolated and characterized on media under aerobic and anaerobic conditions. 4Plasmon Assisted Highly Efficient Visible Light Catalytic CO_(2) Reduction Over the Noble Metal Decorated Sr-Incorporated g-C_(3)N_(4)显示文摘The photocatalytic performance of g-C_(3)N_(4) for CO_(2) conversion is still inadequate by several shortfalls including the instability,insu cient solar light absorption and rapid charge carrier's recombination rate. To solve these problems,herein,noble metals(Pt and Au)decorated Sr-incorporated g-C_(3)N_(4) photocatalysts are fabricated via the simple calcination and photo-deposition methods. The Sr-incorporation remarkably reduced the g-C_(3)N_(4) band gap from 2.7 to 2.54 eV,as evidenced by the UV–visible absorption spectra and the density functional theory results. The CO_(2) conversion performance of the catalysts was evaluated under visible light irradiation. The Pt/0.15 Sr-CN sample produced 48.55 and 74.54 μmol h-1 g-1 of CH_(4) and CO,respectively.These amounts are far greater than that produced by the Au/0.15 Sr-CN,0.15 Sr-CN,and CN samples. A high quantum e ciency of 2.92% is predicted for the Pt/0.15 Sr-CN sample. Further,the stability of the photocatalyst is confirmed via the photocatalytic recyclable test. 5Ultra-high-Q resonances in terahertz all-silicon metasurfaces based on bound states in the continuum显示文摘High-Q metasurfaces have important applications in high-sensitivity sensing,low-threshold lasers,and nonlinear optics due to the strong local electromagnetic field enhancements.Although ultra-high-Q resonances of bound states in the continuum(BIC)metasurfaces have been rapidly developed in the optical regime,it is still a challenging task in the terahertz band for long years because of absorption loss of dielectric materials,design,and fabrication of nanostructures,and the need for high-signal-to-noise ratio and high-resolution spectral measurements.Here,a polarization-insensitive quasi-BIC resonance with a high-Q factor of 1049 in a terahertz all-silicon metasurface is experimentally achieved,exceeding the current highest record by 3 times of magnitude.And by using this ultra-high-Q metasurface,a terahertz intensity modulation with very low optical pump power is demonstrated.The proposed all-silicon metasurface can pave the way for the research and development of high-Q terahertz metasurfaces.PENGFEI WANG FENGYAN HE JIANJUN LIU FANGZHOU SHU BIN FANG TINGTING LANG XUFENG JING ZHI HONG 2022Photonics Research2022,10,12:4

9Resonant transparency of a planar anapole metamaterial at terahertz frequencies显示文摘Anapole metamaterials have attracted growing attention in recent years due to their unique nonradiating and nontrivial properties. Although anapole modes have been demonstrated in metamaterials with threedimensional structures, the design and realization of planar anapole metamaterials in a wide frequency range is still a big challenge. Here we propose and experimentally demonstrate a planar anapole metamaterial consisting of dumbbell-shaped apertures on a stainless-steel sheet at terahertz frequencies. The planar metamaterial can generate a resonant transparency in the terahertz spectrum due to the excitation of the anapole mode.Particularly, the frequency of anapole-induced resonant transparency can be tuned easily in the range of 0.15–0.93 THz by simply varying one geometric parameter of the dumbbell apertures. 14Undesorbable residual gas in coal seams and its influence on gas drainage显示文摘The definition of ‘‘residual gas' can be found in different scenarios, such as the ‘‘fast' and ‘‘slow' desorption methods of measuring gas content and the sorption hysteresis test and gas management of coal mines, however, its meaning varies a lot in different contexts. The main aim of this paper is to discuss the existence of truly undesorbable residual gas in coal seam conditions and its impacts on sorption model and gas drainage efficiency. We believe the undesorbable residual gas does exist due to the observation of the extended slow desorption test and the sorption hysteresis test. The origin of undesorbable residual gas may be because of the inaccessible(closed or semi-closed) pores. Some gas molecules produced during coalification are stored in these inaccessible pores, since the coal is relatively intact in the coal seam condition, these gas molecules cannot escape during natural desorption and then create the undesorbable residual gas. Based on the existing adsorption models, we propose the improved desorption versions by taking into consideration the role of residual gas. By numerically simulating a gas drainage case, the gas contents after different drainage times are studied to understand the influence of residual gas content on gas drainage. The results indicate that the influence starts to be obvious even when the total gas content is at a high level, and the impact becomes more and more apparent with increasing drainage time. 20Evaluation of bronchoscopic direct vision glottis anesthesia method in bronchoscopy显示文摘BACKGROUND Fibrobronchoscopy is a common adjunct tool that requires anesthesia and is widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of various respiratory diseases.However,current anesthesia methods,such as spray,nebulized inhalation,and cricothyroid membrane puncture,have their own advantages and disadvantages.Recently,studies have shown that bronchoscopic direct-view glottis anesthesia is a simple and inexpensive method that shortens the examination time and provides excellent anesthetic results.AIM To evaluate the effectiveness of bronchoscopic direct vision glottis anesthesia for bronchoscopy.METHODS The study included 100 patients who underwent bronchoscopy during thoracic surgery.A random number table method was used to divide the patients into control and observation groups(50 patients each).The control and observation groups were anesthetized using the nebulized inhalation and bronchoscopic direct vision glottis method,respectively.Hemodynamic indices[systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),heart rate(HR),and oxygen saturation(SpO_(2))before(T1),5 min after anesthesia(T2),and at the end of the operation(T3)]serum stress hormone indices[norepinephrine(NE),epinephrine(E),adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH),and cortisol(Cor)before and after treatment]were compared between the 2 groups.Adverse effects were also RESULTS At T2 and T3,SBP,DBP,and HR were lower in the observation group than the control group,whereas SpO_(2) was higher than the control group[(119.05±8.01)mmHg vs(127.05±7.83)mmHg,(119.35±6.66)mmHg vs(128.39±6.56)mmHg,(84.68±6.04)mmHg vs(92.42±5.57)mmHg,(84.53±4.97)mmHg compared to(92.57±6.02)mmHg,(74.25±5.18)beats/min compared to(88.32±5.72)beats/min,(74.38±5.31)beats/min compared to(88.42±5.69)beats/min,(97.36±2.21)%vs(94.35±2.16)%,(97.42±2.36)%vs(94.38±2.69%],with statistically significant differences(all P<0.05).After treatment,NE,E,ACTH,and Cor were significantly higher in both groups than before treatment,but were lower in the observation group than in the control group[(68.25±8.87)ng/mL vs(93.35±14.00)ng/mL,(53.59±5.89)ng/mL vs(82.32±10.70)ng/mL,(14.32±1.58)pg/mL vs(20.35±3.05)pg/mL,(227.35±25.01)nmol/L vs(322.28±45.12)nmol/L],with statistically significant differences(all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was higher in the control group than in the observation group[12.00%(12/50)vs 6.00%(3/50)](P<0.05).CONCLUSION The use of bronchoscopic direct vision glottis anesthesia method for bronchoscopy patients is beneficial for stabilizing hemodynamic indices during bronchoscopy and reducing the level of patient stress,with good safety and practicality.Jie Lang Zhi-Zhen Guo Shu-Shan Xing Jian Sun Bin Qiu Yu Shu Zhi-Qiang Wang Gui-Xiang Liu 2023World Journal of Clinical Cases2023,11,21:1
