2Metal nanoparticles induced photocatalysis显示文摘Photocatalysis induced by light absorption of metal nanoparticles(NPs) has emerged as a promising strategy for exploiting efficient visible-light-responsive composites for solar-energy conversion. In this review, we first introduce the light absorption of metal NPs and the mechanisms proposed in metal-induced photocatalysis(MIP). Then, its applications in water splitting, artificial photosynthesis and inert molecular activation are summarized. To address the challenge of low efficiency in this field, strategies in promoting catalytic activity are reviewed, and particular attention is paid to the particle-size effect of metal. 3Secure communication by generalized chaotic synchronization显示文摘Chaotic communication is a rather new and active field of research. Although it is expected to have promising advantages,some investigators provide evidences that chaotic communication is not safety. This letter provides a new chaotic secure communi-cation scheme based on a generalized synchronization theory of coupled system. The secret message hidden in the chaotic sourcesignal generated via the scheme is very difficult to be unmasked by so-called nonlinear dynamic forecasting technique. 6A numerical study of generation and propagation of type-a and type-b internal solitary waves in the northern South China Sea显示文摘Numerical simulations based on a high-resolution three-dimensional MIT general circulation model(MITgcm)using realistic topography and tidal forcing are conducted to investigate the generation and propagation of the so-called type-a waves(large-amplitude rank-ordered wave packets)and type-b waves(isolated wave packets)in the northern South China Sea.At first,we summarized and analyzed the generation and propagation characteristics of these waves.Then,energy budget at the Luzon Strait is calculated.Energy generation has three local maxima every day,of which the largest one corresponds to the emergence of the type-a wave.Energy flux at the west boundary of the Luzon Strait shows two local maxima each day.The larger one is consistent with the generation of the type-a wave and the smaller one is in correspondence with the generation of the type-b wave.Sensitivity experiments are designed to explore the role of the east and west ridge of the Luzon Strait on the generation and propagation of the type-a and type-b waves.It is found that the east ridge is indispensable on the generation of the type-a wave while the west ridge has little contribution.The west ridge diminishes the type-a waves'amplitude but hardly changes their propagation speed.The type-b waves also come from perturbation signals which originate from the east ridge and are enhanced in amplitude and reduced in propagation speed by the west ridge.Zhi Zeng Xueen Chen Chunxin Yuan Shengquan Tang Lequan Chi 2019Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,11:2
7Novel Hash Function Based on Coupled Chaotic Map Lattices显示文摘Hash function has been widely used in cryptographic field. This paper proposes a Hash function based on complexly Coupled chaotic map latices(CCML).It is equipped with new features of parallel and flexible processing. Parallelism indicates that the algorithm can reach high level of efficiency and speed. Flexibility means the length of Hash function and message block processed each time can be easily changed to adapt to practical demand. Experimental results show that the Hash function is one-way, with high plaintext sensitivity, as well as its strong capability for confusion and diffusion, and collision resistance. 10Analytical criteria for local activity of CNN with five state variables and application to Hyper-chaos synchronization Chua's circuit显示文摘The analytic criteria for the local activity theory in one-port cellular neural network (CNN) with five local state variables are presented. The application to a Hyper-chaos synchronization Chua's circuit (HCSCC) CNN with 1125 variables is studied. The bifurcation diagrams of the HCSCC CNN show that they are slightly different from the smoothed CNN with one or two ports and four state variables calculated earlier. The evolution of the patterns of the state variables of the HCSCC CNN is stimulated. 12Automatic Liver Segmentation Scheme for MRI Images Based on Cellular Neural Networks显示文摘Currently,the processing speed of existing automatic liver segmentation for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) images is relatively slow.An automatic liver segmentation scheme for MRI images based on Cellular Neural Networks (CNN) is presented in this paper.It ensures the validity of this scheme and at the same time completes the image segmentation faster to accurately calculate the liver volume by using parallel computing in real time.In order to facilitate the CNN image processing,firstly,three-dimensional liver MRI images should be transformed into binary images;secondly,an appropriate template parameter of the Global Connectivity Detection CNN (GCD CNN) shall be selected to probe the connectivity of the liver to extract the entire liver;and then the Hole-Filler CNN (HF CNN) are used to repair the entire extracting liver and improve the accuracy of liver segmentation;finally,the liver volume is obtained.Results show that the scheme can ensure the accuracy of the automatic segmentation of the liver,and it can also improve the processing speed at the same time.The liver volume calculated is in line with the clinical diagnosis.Zhang Qun Min Lequan Zhang Jie Zhang Min 2012China Communications2012,9,9:1
