1Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for hallucination in schizophrenia spectrum disorders A meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:This study assessed the efficacy and tolerability of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for treatment of auditory hallucination of patients with schizophrenia spectrum disorders.DATA SOURCES:Online literature retrieval was conducted using PubMed,ISI Web of Science,EMBASE,Medline and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials databases from January1985 to May 2012.Key words were'transcranial magnetic stimulation','TMS','repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation',and'hallucination'.STUDY SELECTION:Selected studies were randomized controlled trials assessing therapeutic efficacy of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for hallucination in patients with schizophrenia spectrum disorders.Experimental intervention was low-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation in left temporoparietal cortex for treatment of auditory hallucination in schizophrenia spectrum disorders.Control groups received sham stimulation.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:The primary outcome was total scores of Auditory Hallucinations Rating Scale,Auditory Hallucination Subscale of Psychotic Symptom Rating Scale,Positive and Negative Symptom Scale-Auditory Hallucination item,and Hallucination Change Scale.Secondary outcomes included response rate,global mental state,adverse effects and cognitive function.RESULTS:Seventeen studies addressing repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for treatment of schizophrenia spectrum disorders were screened,with controls receiving sham stimulation.All data were completely effective,involving 398 patients.Overall mean weighted effect size for repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation versus sham stimulation was statistically significant(MD=–0.42,95%CI:–0.64 to–0.20,P=0.000 2).Patients receiving repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation responded more frequently than sham stimulation(OR=2.94,95%CI:1.39 to 6.24,P=0.005).No significant differences were found between active repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation and sham stimulation for positive or negative symptoms.Compared with sham stimulation,active repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation had equivocal outcome in cognitive function and commonly caused headache and facial muscle twitching.CONCLUSION:Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation is a safe and effective treatment for auditory hallucination in schizophrenia spectrum disorders.Yingli Zhang Wei Liang Shichang Yang Ping Dai Lijuan Shen Changhong Wang 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,28:8
2A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. 4Two novel eukaryotic translation initiation factor 5A genes from Populus simonii×P.nigra confer tolerance to abiotic stresses in Saccharomyces cerevisiae显示文摘The role of plant e IF5 A proteins in multiple biological processes, such as protein synthesis regulation,translation elongation, m RNA turnover, programmed cell death and stress tolerance is well known. Toward using these powerful proteins to increase stress tolerance in agricultural plants, in the present study, we cloned and characterized Psne IF5A2 and Psne IF5A4 from young poplar(P. simonii 9 P. nigra) leaves. The deduced amino acid sequences of Psne IF5A2 and Psne IF5A4 were 98 %similar to each other, and they are orthologs of e IF5A1 in Arabidopsis. In a subcellular localization analysis,Psne IF5A2 and Psne IF5A4 proteins were localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. q RT-PCR analysis showed that Psne IF5A2 and Psne IF5A4 were transcribed in poplar flowers, stem, leaves, and roots. In addition, they were also induced by abiotic stresses. Transgenic yeast expressing Psne IF5A2 and Psne IF5A4 had increased salt, heavy metal, osmotic, oxidative tolerance. 5Establishment of the South Asian High over the Indo-China Peninsula During Late Spring to Summer显示文摘The establishment of the upper-level South Asian high(SAH) over the Indo-China Peninsula(ICP) during late boreal spring and its possible causes are investigated using long-term NCEP–NCAR and ERA-40 reanalysis and satellite-observed OLR data. Results show that, from early March to mid-April, deep convection stays south of ~6?N over the northern Sumatran islands. As the maximum solar radiation moves over the latitudes of the ICP(10?–20?N) in late April, the air over the ICP becomes unstable. It ascends over the ICP and descends over the adjacent waters to the east and west. This triggers deep convection over the ICP that induces large latent heating and strong updrafts and upper-level divergence, leading to the formation of an upper-level anticyclonic circulation and the SAH over the ICP. During early to mid-May, deep convection over the ICP intensifies and extends northwards to the adjacent waters. Strong latent heating from deep convection enhances and maintains the strong updrafts and upper-level divergence, and the SAH is fully established by mid-May. Thus, the seasonal maximum solar heating and the land–sea contrast around the ICP provide the basic conditions for deep convection to occur preferentially over the ICP, which leads to the formation of the SAH over the ICP from late April to mid-May. 13Entropy-driven self-assembly of tethered Janus nanoparticles on a sphere显示文摘Understanding the effect of curvature and topological frustration on self-assembly yields insight into the mechanistic details of the ordering of identical subunits in curved spaces,such as the assembly of viral capsids,growth of solid domains on vesicles,and the self-assembly of molecular monolayers.However,the self-assembly of nanoparticles with anisotropic surface topology and compartmentalization on curved surfaces remains elusive.By combining large-scale molecular simulations as well as theoretical analysis,we demonstrate here that the interplay among anisotropy,curvature,and chain conformation induces tethered Janus nanoparticles to self-assemble into diverse novel structures on a sphere,including binary nanocluster(C_(B)),trinary nanocluster(C_(T)),nanoribbon(R_(N))and hexagon with centered reverse(HR),which are mapped on a phase diagram related to the length asymmetry of tethered chains and Janus balance of the nanoparticles.The dynamical mechanism for the formation of these structure states is analyzed by examining the detailed kinetic pathways as well as free energy.We also show that the centered-reverse state is more prone to emerging around the topological defects,indicating the defect-enhanced entropy effect on a curved surface.Finally,the analytical model that rationalizes the regimes of these structure states is developed and fits simulations reasonably well,resulting in a mechanistic interpretation based on the order through entropy.Our findings shed light on curvature engineering as a versatile strategy to tailor the superstructures formed by anisotropic building blocks toward unique properties.Guolong Zhu Yuming Wang Lijuan Gao Ziyang Xu Xuanyu Zhang Xiaobin Dai Lijun Dai Cuiling Hou Li-Tang Yan 2021Fundamental Research2021,1,5:0

15RGD Gifted PDLLA-PRGD Conduits Promotes the Sciatic Nerve Regeneration显示文摘Schwann cells play a key role in peripheral nerve growth and regeneration. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of RGD peptides on Schwann cell behavior, and to identify the effects of the modified PDLLA films with RGD in vivo. The results revealed that RGD coating with the concentration of 100-500 ug/mL promoted the cell proliferation and boosted the cell migration. Molecularly, RGD coating also enhanced the expression of the proliferation related genes(c-fos and c-jun) and the cell behavior related genes(actin, tublin, tau and MAP1) at fi rst stages of the seeding, which is similar to the effects from laminin coating. In vivo, RGD addition improved the recovery effi ciency of the transected nerve in regard of the more survived Schwann cells in vivo and the formation of more mature myelin sheath. 16Transient positive antimitochondrial M2 in sera of patients with connective tissue diseases after intravenous immunoglobulin infusions显示文摘Background:Although antinuclear antibodies(ANAs),anti‐SSA and anti‐Ro52,are present in immunoglobulin preparations,it is unknown whether intravenous immunoglobulin(IVIG)therapy influences the testing of serum autoantibodies in patients with connective tissue diseases(CTDs).The present study aimed to investigate the dynamic change over time of serum ANA‐related autoantibodies in patients with CTDs receiving IVIG therapy.Methods:Serum ANA‐related autoantibodies were monitored in two patients with CTD before IVIG therapy and at different times after therapy.These autoantibodies were tested in different batches of immunoglobulin preparations from seven pharmaceutical companies.Results:One patient developed a new ANA pattern(cytoplasmic dense fine speckled pattern,AC‐19)just after IVIG therapy.Both patients developed de novo positivity for AMA‐M2 and anti‐SSA,but returned negative 1 month after IVIG therapy.The residual liquid in patients'immunoglobulin preparations showed positive ANAs with a high titer of AC‐19(1:640),a low titer of the nuclear fine speckled pattern(AC‐4,1:80),positive AMA‐M2,and positive anti‐SSA.ANA‐related autoantibodies were tested in 16 batches of immunoglobulin preparations and all had positive ANAs with two patterns:AC‐19(1:640 or 1:320)and AC‐4(1:80).AMA‐M2 and anti‐SSA were positive in 100%of the batches.Conclusion:Our study highlights high‐titer AMA‐M2 autoantibodies in immunoglobulin preparations and suggests their transient transfer into a patient's circulation via IVIG therapy.To avoid incorrect clinical decisions based on postinfusion antibody titers,our data recommend retesting 1–2 months after high‐dose IVIG immunomodulatory treatment.Lijuan Yang Xiuning Wei Qianhua Li Honggui Li Zhiming Ouyang Aiqi Zeng Donghui Zheng Lie Dai Yingqian Mo 2022Rheumatology & Autoimmunity2022,2,4:0
17A Lagrangian Trajectory Analysis of Azimuthally Asymmetric Equivalent Potential Temperature in the Outer Core of Sheared Tropical Cyclones显示文摘In this study,the characteristics of azimuthally asymmetric equivalent potential temperature(θ_(e))distributions in the outer core of tropical cyclones(TCs)encountering weak and strong vertical wind shear are examined using a Lagrangian trajectory method.Evaporatively forced downdrafts in the outer rainbands can transport low-entropy air downward,resulting in the lowestθ_(e)in the downshear-left boundary layer.Quantitative estimations ofθ_(e)recovery indicate that air parcels,especially those originating from the downshear-left outer core,can gradually revive from a low entropy state through surface enthalpy fluxes as the parcels move cyclonically.As a result,the maximumθ_(e)is observed in the downshear-right quadrant of a highly sheared TC.The trajectory analyses also indicate that parcels that move upward in the outer rainbands and those that travel through the inner core due to shear make a dominant contribution to the midlevel enhancement ofθ_(e)in the downshear-left outer core.In particular,the former plays a leading role in suchθ_(e)enhancements,while the latter plays a secondary role.As a result,moist potential stability occurs in the middle-to-lower troposphere in the downshear-left outer core.Yufan DAI Qingqing LI Xinhang LIU Lijuan WANG 2023Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2023,40,9:0
18Weak Fault Detection of Rotor Winding Inter-Turn Short Circuit in Excitation System Based on Residual Interval Observer显示文摘Aiming at the fact that the rotor winding inter-turn weak faults can hardly be detected due to the strong electromagnetic coupling effect in the excitation system,an interval observer based on current residual is designed.Firstly,the mechanism of the inter-turn short circuit of the rotor winding in the excitation system is modeled under the premise of stable working conditions,and electromagnetic decoupling and system simplification are carried out through Park Transform.An interval observer is designed based on the current residual in the two-phase coordinate system,and the sensitive and stable conditions of the observer is preset.The fault diagnosis process based on the interval observer is formulated,and the observer gain matrix is convexly optimized by linear matrix inequality.The numerical simulation and experimental results show that the inter-turn short circuit weak fault is hardly detected directly through the current signal,but the fault is quickly and accurately diagnosed through the residual internal observer.Compared with the traditional fault diagnosis method based on excitation current,the diagnosis speed and accuracy are greatly improved,and the probability of misdiagnosis also decreases.This method provides a theoretical basis for weak fault identification of excitation systems,and is of great significance for the operation and maintenance of excitation systems.Gang Liu Xinqi Chen Lijuan Bao Linbo Xu Chaochao Dai Lei Yang Chengmin Wang 2023Structural Durability & Health Monitoring2023,17,4:0
19Study on Callus Induction and Tissue Culture Regeneration System of Malus toringoides显示文摘[Objectives]To study the culture of callus produced by the leaves of the ethnic medicine‘E Se’,the induction of adventitious buds and the regeneration system of tissue culture seedlings.[Methods]Multi-factor orthogonal experiment was used to design and analyze.[Results]The best medium for callus induction was MS+2.0 mg/L 6-BA+0.1 mg/L 2,4-D.By comparing the effects of cytokinin 6-BA,KT and TDZ on induction of adventitious bud differentiation,it was found that the optimum medium for adventitious bud regeneration was MS+0.5 mg/L 6-BA+0.5 mg/L KT+0.15 mg/L IBA.Finally,adding 0.2 mg/L IBA(0.1 or 0.2 mg/L)to MS medium could effectively make regenerated seedlings produce roots,and the efficiency was more than 70%.[Conclusions]It laid a foundation for the large-scale cultivation of the seedlings of the ethnic medicine‘E Se’and the promotion of their artificial cultivation.Xiaobo QIN Bei NIU Lijuan FAN Guozhen ZHANG Dongmei HU Bingbing ZHANG Xiaodong SHI Xinyi XU Peng WU Tingwei DAI Siying QIN Xiao LI Yushan DENG Fei ZU 2019Medicinal Plant2019,10,5:0
20Examining asymmetric outer-core CAPE in sheared tropical cyclones based on the FNL data set显示文摘The asymmetric distribution of convective available potential energy(CAPE)in the outer core of sheared tropical cyclones(TCs)is examined using the National Centers for Environmental Prediction Final operational global analysis data.Larger(smaller)CAPE tends to appear in the downshear(upshear)semicircle.This downshear-upshear contrast in CAPE magnitude becomes much more statistically significant in moderate-to-strong shear.The azimuthally asymmetric CAPE is closely associated with the near-surface equivalent potential temperature(e).Larger surface winds occur in the upshear semicircle in strongly sheared TCs,contributing to larger surface latent heat fluxes in those quadrants.More lowlevel air well fueled by the larger surface latent heat fluxes in the upshear quadrants is cyclonically advected into the downstream quadrants.As a result,larger near-surfacee and CAPE are found in the outer core in the downshear quadrants.Yufan DAI Qingqing LI Lijuan WANG Hong CHEN 2022Frontiers of Earth Science2022,16,3:0
