1HPV16E7-HSP70 Hybrid DNA Vaccine Induces E7-Specific Cytotoxic T Cells and Antitumor Immunity显示文摘Using human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV16) E7 as an antigen and Heat Shock Protein 70 as adjuvant, we constructed a DNA vaccine by linking HSP70 gene to E7~ C91G gene. Mice, after being immunized with E7~ C91G -HSP70, E7~ C91G /HSP70, E7~ C91G , and wild E7 DNA vaccines respectively, produced E7 specific CD8^+ T-cell precursor frequencies of 280.33±2.52, 144.34±4.04, 164.34±5.13 and 82.33±3.51 respectively within every 1×10~5 mouse splenocytes. This proves that E7~ C91G -HSP70 fusion vaccine can significantly enhance the E7 specific cellular immunity within the mice body(p<0.01). After being immunized with E7~ C91G -HSP70 fusion vaccine, tumor-bearing mice of the group being treated have significantly longer latency and survival periods, comparing with other three categories of E7 vaccines. Experiment shows that this vaccine has a significant effect on enhancing E7 positive tumor-treatment within mice body. After being immunized with E7~ C91G -HSP70 vaccine, there were no pathological changes found in livers, kidneys and spleens of the mice, which proves that the vaccine is quite safe. 3Dual‑Performance Optimized Silks from Ultra‑Low Dose Polymer Dots Feeding and Its Absorption, Distribution and Excretion in the Silkworms显示文摘Fluorescent polymer dots(Pdots)have the advantages of excellent optical properties,great biocompatibility and high photostability.Herein,we feed ultra-low doses Pdots to silkworms for the first time and aim to prepare dual-performance modified silks.After Pdots feeding,the fluorescence signal of cocoons and degummed silks increases significantly,which is more stable and more uniform than that of post-treatment silks.Moreover,Pdots hinder the conformation transformation of silk fibroin and improve the mechanical property of twisted silk strand.The highest elongation at break point is 20.75±0.03% and breaking strength is 271.7±3.8 MPa.With excellent fluorescence and mechanical properties,the optimized silks are successfully applied as a scaffold for cell culture and imaging.Furthermore,we investigate the metabolism of Pdots in the silkworms for understanding the behaviours of Pdots in the process of silks synthesis and secretion.Jingru Li Yuqiao Li Shuting Lu Juxiang Zhang Chunfu Zhang Liqin Xiong 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,4:1

6Sustainable all-weather CO 2 utilization by mimicking natural photosynthesis in a single material显示文摘Solar-driven CO_(2)conversion into hydrocarbon fuels is a sustainable approach to synchronously alleviating the energy crisis and achieving net CO_(2)emissions.However,the dependence of the conversion process on solar illumination hinders its practical application due to the intermittent availability of sunlight at night and on cloudy or rainy days.Here,we report a model material of Pt-loaded hexagonal tungsten trioxide(Pt/h-WO3)for decoupling light and dark reaction processes,demonstrating the sustainable CO_(2)conversion under dark conditions for the first time.In such a material system,hydrogen atoms can be produced by photocatalytic water splitting under solar illumination,stored together with electrons in the h-WO_(3)through the transition of W^(6+)to W^(5+)and spontaneously released to trigger catalytic CO_(2)reduction under dark conditions.Furthermore,we demonstrate using natural light that CH4 production can persist at night and on rainy days,proving the accomplishment of all-weather CO_(2)conversion via a sustainable way.Xianjin Shi Yu Huang Ran Long Zhenyu Wang Liqin Wang Junji Cao Gangqiang Zhu Yujie Xiong 2024National Science Review2024,11,2:0

11CC@BCN@PANI core-shell nanoarrays as ultra-high cycle stability cathode for Zn-ion hybrid supercapacitors显示文摘Exploring cathode materials that combine excellent cycling stability and high energy density poses a challenge to aqueous Zn-ion hybrid supercapacitors(ZHSCs).Herein,polyaniline(PANI)coated boron-carbon-nitrogen(BCN)nanoarray on carbon cloth surface is prepared as advanced cathode materials via simple high-temperature calcination and electrochemical deposition methods.Because of the excellent specific capacity and conductivity of PANI,the CC@BCN@PANI core-shell nanoarrays cathode shows an excellent ion storage capability.Moreover,the 3D nanoarray structure can provide enough space for the volume expansion and contraction of PANI in the charging/discharging cycles,which effectively avoids the collapse of the microstructure and greatly improves the electrochemical stability of PANI.Therefore,the CC@BCN@PANI-based ZHSCs exhibit superior electrochemical performances showing a specific capacity of 145.8 mAh/g,a high energy density of 116.78 Wh/kg,an excellent power density of 12 kW/kg,and a capacity retention rate of 86.2%after 8000 charge/discharge cycles at a current density of 2 A/g.In addition,the flexible ZHSCs(FZHSCs)also show a capacity retention rate of 87.7%at the current density of 2 A/g after 450 cycles.Shixian XIONG Hongcheng KE Lei CAO Yu WANG Qian ZHU Liqin ZHONG Lanlan FAN Feng GU 2023Frontiers in Energy2023,17,4:0
