2Processing,Microstructures,and Mechanical Properties of Magnesium Matrix Composites:A Review显示文摘In the last two decades, light-weight magnesium matrix composites have been the hot issue of material field due to their excellent mechanical and physical properties, e.g., high-specific strength and modulus, good wear resistance, and damping capacity. As compared with aluminum matrix composites, magnesium matrix composites have merit in their specific weight and have wide applications in aerospace and aeronautical fields. Generally, the processing techniques for magnesium matrix composites can be categorized as conventional and special processing routes. In recent years, as a special processing route, metal melt infiltration into porous ceramic preform featured by its low cost and availability of high-volume fraction of reinforced ceramics have been receiving much attention. Thus, in this review, one emphasis was put on the description of this processing technique in association with the means to obtain good wettability, the prerequisite for this kind of processing method. Based on the recognized fact that there exist clean interface and bonding ability between ceramics and matrix metal, in-situ reaction synthesis is usually utilized to fabricate magnesium matrix composites.Therefore, the interfacial feature was also reviewed for the in-situ reaction synthesis. 3Dynamic Recrystallization Behavior of a Heat-resistant Martensitic Stainless Steel 403Nb during Hot Deformation显示文摘Dynamic recrystallization(DRX) behaviors of a heat-resistant martensitic stainless steel 403Nb during hot deformation have been investigated by single-pass thermo-mechanical simulative experiment at temperatures of 900-1150 C and strain rates of 0.01-1 s 1.The results show that the true stress-true strain curves of this alloy can be classified into two types,one is of dynamic recovery and the other is of dynamic recrystallization.The DRX in 403Nb alloy is easy to occur at strain rates lower than 0.5 s 1 and deformation temperatures higher than 1000 C.Using regression analysis,the stress multiplier(α) and apparent stress exponent(n) were calculated to be 0.0153 and 3.22,respectively,while the activation energy(Q d) for DRX of 403Nb was calculated to be 367.293 kJ/mol.The constitutive equation of peak stress for DRX was also obtained.Based on P-J method,the critical strain for DRX was accurately determined.The mathematical models of peak strain and kinetic equation for DRX of 403Nb steel were finally established.Zhouyu Zeng Liqing Chen Fuxian Zhu Xianghua Liu 2011Journal of Materials Science & Technology2011,27,10:12
4Some Aspects of High Manganese Twinning-Induced Plasticity (TWIP) Steel, A Review显示文摘High manganese twinning-induced plasticity (TWIP) steel is a new kind of structural material and possesses both high strength and superior plasticity and can meet the weight-lightening requirement for manufacturing vehicle body. The excellent formability of the TWIP steel comes from the extraordinary strain hardening effect during plastic deformation. The reduction of specific weight by aluminum alloying and strain hardening effect can lead to an effective weight reduction of the steel components, and provide a better choice for materials in vehicle body design. The TWIP effect in high Mn steels is generally associated with the successive workhardening generated by twins and influenced by some factors, such as Mn content, Al addition revealed by stacking fault energy (SFE), grain size, deformation temperature and strain rate. The present review introduces some aspects of the TWIP steels relating to their physical metallurgy, influencing factors associated with their deformation mechanisms, and a prospect for the future investigation is also described. 5Processing of B_4C Particulate-reinforced Magnesium-matrix Composites by Metal-assisted Melt Infiltration Technique显示文摘In fabricating magnesium-matrix composites,an easy and cost-effective route is to infiltrate the ceramic preform with molten Mg without any external pressure.However,a rather well wettability of molten Mg with ceramic reinforcement is needed for this process.In order to improve the wettability of the metal melt with ceramic preform during fabricating composites by metal melt infiltration,a simple and viable method has been proposed in this paper where a small amount of metal powder with higher melting point is added to the ceramic preform such that the surface tension of the Mg melt and the liquid-solid interfacial tension could be reduced.By using this method,boron carbide particulate-reinforced magnesium-matrix composites(B4C/Mg)have been successfully fabricated where Ti powder immiscible with magnesium melt was introduced into B4 C preform as infiltration inducer.The infiltration ability of molten Mg to the ceramic preform was further studied in association with the processing conditions and the mechanism involved in this process was also analyzed.Yantao Yao Liqing Chen 2014Journal of Materials Science & Technology2014,30,7:11
6Creep Behaviors of DA Casting and Rolling GH4169 Superalloy显示文摘After the billet of Casting and Rolling GH4169 alloy was directly aged (DA) treated at 720 ℃ and 620 ℃, creep behavior and deformed features of the alloy were investigated by means of the measurement of creep curves and microstructure observation. Results show that the DA Casting and Rolling GH4169 Superalloy displays a lower strain rate during creep and longer lifetimes under the condition of the applied stress of 700 MPa at 650 ℃ , the creep lifetimes of the alloy decrease to 127 h as temperature is elevated to 660 ℃ , and therefore the alloy exhibits an obvious sensitivity of the applied temperatures. During creep, the deformation mechanism of the alloy is thought to be the twinning deformation and slipping of dislocation within the twinning regions. Thereinto, the dislocation slipping of the single and double orientations occur within the twins. 7Dynamical Solidification Behaviors and Metal Flow during Continuous Semisolid Extrusion Process of AZ31 Alloy显示文摘In this paper, a novel near-net-shape forming process, continuous semisolid extrusion process (CSEP) of AZ31 alloy was proposed, and the dynamical solidification behaviors and metal flow during the process were firstly investigated. During casting AZ31 alloy by this process, non-uniform microstructure distributions and non-equilibrium solidification region near the roll surface were found in the roll-shoe gap. Microstructural evolution from dendrite to rosette and spherical grains was observed during the casting by CSEP. Casting temperature, roll-shoe gap width and cooling ability have great effect on casting process and metal flow, so these factors should be carefully controlled, a proper casting temperature of 710-750℃ is suggested. 9Effect of Cerium on High-Temperature Oxidation Resistance of 00Cr17NbTi Ferritic Stainless Steel显示文摘The influence of cerium addition on the isothermal oxidation behavior of 00Cr17 NbTi ferritic stainless steel was studied at temperature up to 1,000 °C for 100 h in air. The results show that cerium additions can reduce the grain size of this ferritic stainless steel, improve the diffusion of chromium and decrease the critical concentration of chromium to form protective Cr2O3 layer. With the increasing of cerium addition, the oxide particles become smaller and this can increase the rupture strength and spalling resistance of oxide layers. 10Effect of Cr on mechanical properties and corrosion behaviors of Fe-Mn-C-Al-Cr-N TWIP steels显示文摘By using scanning electron microscopy(SEM) equipped with electron back-scattered diffraction(EBSD)system, transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and Corr Test4 electrochemical workstation, effects of chromium content(1.35 wt% – 3.95 wt%) on the mechanical properties and anti-corrosion behaviours of high manganese Fe-Mn-C-Al-Cr-N twinning-induced plasticity(TWIP) steels were studied. The results show that Cr content has an obvious influence on the mechanical properties and fracture behaviors of the high manganese TWIP steels. The yield and ultimate tensile strengths of the steel sheets were improved with increasing Cr content while the elongation was reduced. In addition, with the increase of Cr content, the fracture mode changed from ductile fracture pattern with coarse dimples and tear ridges(Cr content ≤ 2.35%) to intergranular fracture(when Cr content is 3.95%). Furthermore, Cr content has a tremendous effect on anti-corrosion behaviors of the high manganese TWIP steels. 11A detailed investigation of low latitude tweek atmospherics observed by the WHU ELF/VLF receiver:2.Occurrence features and associated ionospheric parameters显示文摘As a companion paper to Zhou RX et al.(2020),this study describes application of the automatic detection and analysis module to identify all the tweek atmospherics detectible in the WHU ELF/VLF receiver data collected at Suizhou station during the period of 3 February through 29 February 2016.Detailed analysis of the identified low-latitude tweek events reveals that the occurrence rate varies considerably—from 800 to 6000 tweeks per day,and exhibits a strong diurnal and local time dependence,the peak occurring before local midnight.The diurnal variation of identified tweeks was similar to that of the lightning data obtained by the World-Wide Lightning Location Network(WWLLN)..Estimates of the propagation distance and ionospheric reflection height of tweek atmospherics suggest that the majority(~92%)of the low latitude tweeks originate from the lightning activity within a radius of 4000 km and that they are very likely to reflect from the lower ionospheric D-region at the height range of 75–85 km.At these lower ionospheric reflection altitudes,~74%of the corresponding electron densities from the tweek spectral measurements are within 24.5–27.5 cm^-3.The daily variation of estimated D-region electron densities in the considered period(February 2016)also exhibits a small overall increasing trend from early to later in the month.Juan Yi XuDong Gu Wen Cheng XinYue Tang Long Chen BinBin Ni RuoXian Zhou ZhengYu Zhao Qi Wang LiQing Zhou 2020Earth and Planetary Physics2020,4,3:8
12Lipid analysis of three special nervonic acid resources in China显示文摘Nervonic acid plays an important role in nutrition and function of the human body.Malania oleifera,Acer truncatum and Xanthoceras sorbifolium are China’s unique woody plant rich in nervonic acid in seed oil.This study aims to investigate the lipid composition of these 3 special resources.Their fatty acids were detected by gas chromatography coupled with flame detector(GC-FID).Triglycerides(TAGs)and phospholipids(PLs)were detected by shotgun-mass spectrometry(shotgun-MS).Results showed that M.oleifera oil presented the highest level of nervonic acid(46.20±0.22%)among the 3 oils.Seeds oil of A.truncatum and X.sorbifolium had 3.53±0.20%and 1.83±0.21%nervonic acid respectively.53 species of TAGs and 15 species of PLs were identified in M.oleifera oil,with PLs content of 499.94±22.34μg/g.In A.truncatum oil,PL and TAG species were twice more than those in M.oleifera oil,and its’content of PLs was 76.27±3.21μg/g.In X.sorbifolium oil,75 TAGs and 34 PLs were detected,with the lowest PLs at 23.84±0.17μg/g.The results demonstrated that these 3 vegetable oils have great potential to become nervonic acid supplements for human health.Xinghao Tu Jingya Wan Ya Xie Fang Wei Siewyoung Quek Xin Lv Liqing Du Hong Chen 2020Oil Crop Science2020,5,4:7
13A detailed investigation of low latitude tweek atmospherics observed by the WHU ELF/VLF receiver:Ⅰ. Automatic detection and analysis method显示文摘As a dispersive wave mode produced by lightning strokes, tweek atmospherics provide important hints of lower ionospheric(i.e., D-region) electron density. Based on data accumulation from the WHU ELF/VLF receiver system, we develop an automatic detection module in terms of the maximum-entropy-spectral-estimation(MESE) method to identify unambiguous instances of low latitude tweeks.We justify the feasibility of our procedure through a detailed analysis of the data observed at the Suizhou Station(31.57°N, 113.32°E) on17 February 2016. A total of 3961 tweeks were registered by visual inspection;the automatic detection method captured 4342 tweeks, of which 3361 were correct ones, producing a correctness percentage of 77.4%(= 3361/4342) and a false alarm rate of 22.6%(= 981/4342).A Short-Time Fourier Transformation(STFT) was also applied to trace the power spectral profiles of identified tweeks and to evaluate the tweek propagation distance. It is found that the fitting accuracy of the frequency–time curve and the relative difference of propagation distance between the two methods through the slope and through the intercept can be used to further improve the accuracy of automatic tweek identification. 15Diffusion Bonding of Silicon Carbide Particulate Reinforced 2024 Al Composites显示文摘A study has been made on diffusion bonding of SiCp/2024Al composites by means of pure Al interlayer. In the condition of TB=843 K, PB=16 MPa, tB=60 min, the diffusion bonded joint, with a shear strength of 235 MPa, was obtained when a 15μm thick interlayer was used. 16Multifunctional oral delivery systems for enhanced bioavailability of therapeutic peptides/proteins显示文摘In last few years, therapeutic peptides/proteins are rapidly growing in drug market considering their higher efficiency and lower toxicity than chemical drugs. However, the administration of therapeutic peptides/proteins is mainly limited in parenteral approach. Oral therapy which was hampered by harsh gastrointestinal environment and poorly penetrating epithelial barriers often results in low bioavailability(less than 1%–2%). Therefore, delivery systems that are rationally designed to overcome these challenges in gastrointestinal tract and ameliorate the oral bioavailability of therapeutic peptides/proteins are seriously promising. 17Multi-objective optimization design of wheat centralized seed feeding device based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm显示文摘In order to solve the problem of interaction between multiple evaluation indexes of seed metering performance under multiple factors of centralized seed feeding device,a multi-objective optimization of structure based on particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm was proposed in this paper.The wheat centralized seed feeding device was taken as the research object,and the experimental factors were cone angle of type hole,working speed and seed filling gap.The working process of wheat centralized seed feeding device was simulated by discrete element method(DEM).The average seed number of type hole,the variation coefficient of the average seed number of type hole,and the maximum tangential force between seed and seed feeding mechanism were selected as the evaluation indexes.Through the variance analysis of the evaluation indexes by the experimental factors,the optimization objective function was constructed.Using PSO algorithm,the multi-objective optimization was carried out for the wheat centralized seed feeding device.The optimization results show that the best structural combination parameters of the wheat centralized seed feeding device are the hole cone angle of 31.6°and the seed filling gap of 4.6 mm.The validity of the method was verified by simulation and field test.The results show that the PSO algorithm multi-objective optimization method proposed in this paper can provide a reference for the structural improvement and optimal design of the centralized seed feeding device.Qingqing Wang Zhaodong Li Weiwei Wang Chunling Zhang Liqing Chen Ling Wan 2020International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,6:4
18Preparation and evaluation of a new releasable PEGylated tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) conjugate for therapeutic application显示文摘To design a releasable PEGylated TNF-α(rPEG-TNF-α ), a cathepsin B-sensitive dipeptide (Val-Cit moiety) was inserted into conventional PEG-modified TNF- (PEG-TNF- ), facilitating its clinical use for anti-tumor therapy. Comparative pharmaco- kinetic and pharmacodynamic studies showed that the half-lives of both PEGylated forms of TNF-α were ~60-fold greater than that of unmodified TNF-α . In addition, the in vitro bioactivity of rPEG-TNF-α was greater than that of PEG-TNF-α with the same degree of PEG modification. Release of TNF-α from rPEG-TNF-α in vitro was dependent on the presence of cathepsin B and was inhibited by a cathepsin B inhibitor. Despite the potent cytotoxicity of unmodified TNF-α against normal cells, its PEGylated forms at higher TNF-α concentrations showed low cytotoxic activity against these cells. In contrast, both forms of PEGylated TNF-α showed potent cytotoxic activity against the B16 and L929 cell lines, with rPEG-TNF-α being 5- and 9- fold more potent, respectively, than PEG-TNF-α . 19Influence of Deep Cryogenic Treatment on Microstructures and Mechanical Properties of an Ultrafine-Grained WC-12Co Cemented Carbide显示文摘Effect of deep cryogenic treatment(DCT) on the microstructures and mechanical behavior of ultrafine-grained WC-12 Co cemented carbide was investigated by using XRD, SEM, and DSC. The phase transformations of pure Co and binder phase Co in cemented carbide were analyzed in detail to correlate the strengthening mechanism with its a→ε phase transition. The results show that DCT resulted in a slight increase in hardness and bending strength of ultrafinegrained WC-12 Co cemented carbide. For the ultrafine-grained cemented carbide after DCT, there is no significant change in the microstructure and the elemental distribution of the cemented carbides, but the fractured morphology shows a feature of plastic deformation. In the cases of pure Co and the binder phase Co in WC-12 Co cemented carbide, they exhibit different features of phase transformation. 20On the Strength of Silicon Carbide Particulate Reinforced Aluminium Alloy Matrix Composites显示文摘In the present study, the modified continuum model, quench strengthening and dislocation pile-up model was respectively used to estimate the yield strength of SiCp/Al composites. The experimental results showed that the modified shear lag model or quench strengthening model would underestimate the yield strength of SiCp/Al composites.
