| 1 | The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. | 2 | Effects of Brassinosteroid Associated with Auxin and Gibberellin on Apple Tree Growth and Gene Expression Patterns显示文摘Brassinosteroid is an important hormone that interacts with auxin and gibberellin to regulate plant growth and development. However,there is currently a relative lack of information regarding brassinosteroid in apple. Previous study confirmed that exogenous brassinosteroid treatments increased growth and endogenous brassinosteroid, auxin, as well as gibberellin levels of apple nursery trees. Here we succeeded to find that exogenous brassinosteroid treatments upregulated the transcript expression of auxin biosynthesis, transport, and positive signal transduction genes as well as gibberellin biosynthesis genes. In contrast, the application of exogenous brassinosteroid downregulated the expression of genes encoding negative regulators of auxin and gibberellin signal transductions. Rapid responses of several brassinosteroid-,auxin-, and gibberellin-related genes to the brassinosteroid and brassinazole treatments inferred the crosstalk of BR and IAA or GA. Furthermore,the expression levels of cell growth-related genes were also enhanced by exogenous brassinosteroid. Auxin and gibberellin treatments also influenced growth of apple tree and enhanced the expression of brassinosteroid-and cell growth-related genes. These results indicate that the growth of apple tree is regulated by the interaction between brassinosteroid, auxin, and gibberellin. | 4 | Photocatalytic activity of Lu^(3+)/TiO_2 prepared by ball milling method显示文摘Ball milling method was applied to prepare Lu^(3+)/TiO_2 photocatalysts. The catalysts were characterized with X-ray powder diffraction(XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectra(UV-vis DRS), energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer(EDS), transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET) method. The photocatalytic activities were determined by the degradation of methylene blue(MB) equipped with a 300 W medium pressure mercury lamp. Results show that the first order reaction rate constants of Lu^(3+)/TiO_2 and pure TiO_2 are0.0565 and 0.0263 min-1, respectively, which both were evaluated under the condition of catalysts loading of 0.2 g/L,initial concentration of 25 mg/L for MB, mole ratio of Lu^(3+)/TiO_2 of 1.5% and milling time of 4 h. | 5 | Oct-1 Mediates ACTH-Induced Proliferation of Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells显示文摘Adrenocorticotrophic hormone(ACTH),a 39-amino acid peptide hormone,has been reported in the appreciation of the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs),however,the mechanism in molecular scale supporting the appreciation remains to be elucidated.In this study,we observed that the protein expression levels of ACTH at 24 h after exposure to 15%cyclic stretch were significantly higher than that after 5%cyclic stretch.When VSMCs were treated with 1000 nM ACTH directly,Oct-1 and lamin B1 expression were both up-regulated associating with each other,and the presence of Oct-1 was found shuttling between the cytosol and nucleus.When we silenced Oct-1 expression with RNA interference,the proliferation of VSMCs decreases significantly,which also validates a dominant contribution of Oct-1 in ACTH-induced VSMC proliferation.We further screened the target molecules of Oct-1 related to the proliferation with ingenuity pathway analysis(IPA),and found that superoxide dismutase 1(SOD1)was significantly induced by ACTH stimulation yet suppressed by Oct-1 interference.All these findings in the present study highlight a new molecular mechanism that ACTH up-regulates Oct-1 expression and activates the protein expression of downstream target SOD1,finally induces the VSMC proliferation.The present work proved Octamer transcription factor-1(Oct-1)as a key transcription factor in the mechanical regulation of VSMC proliferation,which in turn,provide a new target for the treatment of hypertension. | Qian Xiao Xia Tang Yuanxiu Chen Han Bao Lizhi Gao Xiaobo Gong Ping Zhang | 2019 | Molecular & Cellular Biomechanics2019,16,3: | 3 |

| 7 | Differential SW16.1 allelic effects and genetic backgrounds contributed to increased seed weight after soybean domestication显示文摘Although seed weight has increased following domestication from wild soybean(Glycine soja) to cultivated soybean(Glycine max), the genetic basis underlying this change is unclear. Using mapping populations derived from chromosome segment substitution lines of wild soybean, we identified SW16.1 as the causative gene underlying a major quantitative trait locus controlling seed weight.SW16.1 encodes a nucleus-localized LIM domaincontaining protein. Importantly, the GsSW16.1 allele from wild soybean accession N24852 had a negative effect on seed weight, whereas the GmSW16.1 allele from cultivar NN1138-2 had a positive effect. Gene expression network analysis,reverse-transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction, and promoter-luciferase reporter transient expression assays suggested that SW16.1 regulates the transcription of MT4, a positive regulator of seed weight. The natural variations in SW16.1 and other known seed weight genes were analyzed in soybean germplasm. The SW16.1 polymorphism was associated with seed weight in 247 soybean accessions, showing much higher frequency of positive-effect alleles in cultivated soybean than in wild soybean. Interestingly,gene allele matrix analysis of the known seed weight genes revealed that G. max has lost 38.5%of the G. soja alleles and that most of the lost alleles had negative effects on seed weight. | 8 | Parameterless Pruning Algorithms for Similarity-Weight Network and Its Application in Extracting the Backbone of Global Value Chain显示文摘Purpose:With the availability and utilization of Inter-Country Input-Output(ICIO)tables,it is possible to construct quantitative indices to assess its impact on the Global Value Chain(GVC).For the sake of visualization,ICIO networks with tremendous low-weight edges are too dense to show the substantial structure.These redundant edges,inevitably make the network data full of noise and eventually exert negative effects on Social Network Analysis(SNA).In this case,we need a method to filter such edges and obtain a sparser network with only the meaningful connections.Design/methodology/approach:In this paper,we propose two parameterless pruning algorithms from the global and local perspectives respectively,then the performance of them is examined using the ICIO table from different databases.Findings:The Searching Paths(SP)method extracts the strongest association paths from the global perspective,while Filtering Edges(FE)method captures the key links according to the local weight ratio.The results show that the FE method can basically include the SP method and become the best solution for the ICIO networks.Research limitations:There are still two limitations in this research.One is that the computational complexity may increase rapidly while processing the large-scale networks,so the proposed method should be further improved.The other is that much more empirical networks should be introduced to testify the scientificity and practicability of our methodology.Practical implications:The network pruning methods we proposed will promote the analysis of the ICIO network,in terms of community detection,link prediction,and spatial econometrics,etc.Also,they can be applied to many other complex networks with similar characteristics.Originality/value:This paper improves the existing research from two aspects,namely,considering the heterogeneity of weights and avoiding the interference of parameters.Therefore,it provides a new idea for the research of network backbone extraction. | Lizhi Xing Yu Han | 2022 | Journal of Data and Information Science2022,7,1: | 1 |

| 11 | A Study on Transport Costs and China's Exports: An Extended Gravity Model显示文摘This paper suggests an extending conventional gravity model design to empirically analyze the effect of transport costs and port efficiency on China's export flows. It shows that factor endowment and transport costs variables affect export trade value in directions that New Trade Theory(NTT) predicted. Also, the evidence indicates that, controlling for the effects of transport costs on trade, variables in traditional gravity model are consistent with previous empirical studies in both magnitudes and directions. Moreover, more than 22% of the variation in Chinese export trade can be explained by those three variables alone. The findings reported in this paper empirically explains how seriously transport costs and port efficiency affect China's export growth by comparing effects of labour production factor costs on external trade. | 16 | Feature and Tendency of Technology Transfer in Z-Park Patent Cooperation Network:From the Perspective of Global Optimal Path显示文摘Purpose:This study aims to provide a new framework for analyzing the path of technology diffusion in the innovation network at the regional level and industrial level respectively,which is conducive to the integration of innovation resources,the coordinated development of innovative subjects,and the improvement of innovation abilities.Design/methodology/approach:Based on the Z-Park patent cooperation data,we establish Inter-Enterprise Technology Transfer Network model and apply the concept of Pivotability to describe the key links of technology diffusion and quantify the importance of innovative partnerships.By measuring the topologically structural characteristics in the levels of branch park and the technosphere,this paper demonstrates how technology spreads and promotes overall innovation activities within the innovation network.Findings:The results indicate that:(1)Patent cooperation network of the Z-Park displays heterogeneity and the connections between the innovative subjects distribute extremely uneven.(2)Haidian park owns the highest pivotability in the IETTN model,yet the related inter-enterprise patent cooperation is mainly concentrated in its internal,failing to facilitate the technology diffusion across multiple branch parks.(3)Such fields as“electronics and information”and“advanced manufacturing”are prominent in the cross-technosphere cooperation,while fields such as“new energy”and“environmental protection technology”can better promote industrial integration.Research limitations:Only the part of the joint patent application is taken into account while establishing the patent cooperation network.The other factors that influence the mechanism of technology diffusion in the innovation network need to be further studied,such as financial capital,market competition,and personnel mobility,etc.Practical implications:The findings of this paper will provide useful information and suggestions for the administration and policy-making of high-tech parks.Originality/value:The value of this paper is to build a bridge between the massive amount of patent data and the nature of technology diffusion,and to develop a set of tools to analyze the nonlinear relations between innovative subjects. | Jun Guan Jingying Xu Yu Han Dawei Wang Lizhi Xing | 2021 | Journal of Data and Information Science2021,6,4: | 0 |

The commonly used splice grafting,V-shaped grafting and tongue grafting mostly use plastic film for fixation and sealing. After one year,the wrapped plastic film needs to be removed to avoid affecting the growth of the seedlings. This paper introduces a brand new grafting technology which uses tongue grafting iron nails for fixation and growth fixation wax for sealing( SDRG). The process of mechanized grafting for apple nursery stock is determined,and the fixation and sealing problems with the grafting parts of seedlings are solved.
