1Active dry yeast supplementation improves the growth performance,rumen fermentation, and immune response of weaned beef calves显示文摘The objective of this experiment was to investigate the potential benefits of active dry yeast(ADY)on the growth performance,rumen fermentation,nutrient digestibility,and serum parameters of weaned beef calves.Thirty Simmental crossbred male calves(body weight=86.47±4.41 kg and 70±4 d of age)were randomly divided into 2 groups:control(CON)(fed basal ration)and ADY(fed basal ration and 5 g/d ADY per calf).The dietary concentrate-to-roughage ratio was 35:65.All the calves were regularly provided rations 3 times a day at 07:00,13:00,and 19:00 and had free access to wate r.The experiment lasted for 60 d.The average daily gain of ADY group was higher(P=0.007)than that of the CON group,and the ratio of feed intake to average daily gain in the ADY group was reduced(P=0.022)as compared to the CON group.The concentration of ruminal ammonia-N was higher(P=0.023)in the CON group than that in the ADY group,but an opposite trend of microbial protein was found between the 2 groups.Also,the ruminal concentrations of propionate and butyrate were higher(P<0.05)in the ADY group than those in the CON group.Calves fed ADY exhibited higher(P<0.05)crude protein and neutral detergent fiber digestibility.Supplementation of ADY increased(P<0.05)the contents of glucose,glutathione peroxidase,superoxide dismutase,immunoglobulin A,immunoglobulin M,and interleukin 10 in the serum of calves,but an opposite trend was observed in malondialdehyde,interleukin 1 beta,and tumor necrosis factor alpha contents between the 2 groups.In conclusion,dietary supplementation with ADY could improve the growth performance,rumen fermentation,nutrient digestibility,antioxidant ability,and immune response of weaned beef calves.Jian Ma Cheng Wang Zhisheng Wang Guang Cao Rui Hu Xueying Wang Huawei Zou Kun Kang Quanhui Peng Bai Xue Lizhi Wang Yueming Zhu Xiaopeng Zhu 2021Animal Nutrition2021,,4:7

3Lead Isotopic Steep-Dipping Zone and Mineralization—An Example from Mineral Deposits Concentrated Area in East Qinling,China显示文摘Lead isotopic geochemical steep-dipping zone usually exists on inhomogeneous boundaries of earth blocks. Its crossing with the geophysical gradient zone often convergently occurs at giant deposits. Deep structures or concealed structural planes obviously have the coupling relationship with the convergent area of mineral deposits. The geochemical steep-dipping zone is usually distributed along the boundary of ancient continental blocks. Its crossing effect with geophysical gradient zone is usually presented as depression or swell of Moho discontinuity on the crossing direction with the ancient continental margin, which would lead to form deep fractures of earth crust at block margins or lead to adjustment of earth crust texture. The deep hydrothermal liquid would rise up along the structural planes to form the convergent areas of mineral deposits. For example, Luonan- Luanchuan area in east Qinling is a typical crossed area of the geochemical steepdipping zone and geophysical gradient zone. The mineral deposit belt extends along EW direction. It was controlled by the geochemical steepdipping zone equidistantly distributed along NE direction like a string of beads controlled by a gravity gradient zone in NE direction and a mantle depression slope. Along a plunging mantle syncline on EW plunging direction, from the east to the west, checkform was distributed which controls synergic crustmantle granoporphyry rocks. 7Gelation of Hole Transport Layer to Improve the Stability of Perovskite Solar Cells显示文摘To achieve high power conversion efficiency(PCE) and long-term stability of perovskite solar cells(PSCs), a hole transport layer(HTL) with persistently high conductivity, good moisture/oxygen barrier ability, and adequate passivation capability is important. To achieve enough conductivity and effective hole extraction, spiro-OMe TAD, one of the most frequently used HTL in optoelectronic devices, often needs chemical doping with a lithium compound(LiTFSI). However, the lithium salt dopant induces crystallization and has a negative impact on the performance and lifetime of the device due to its hygroscopic nature. Here, we provide an easy method for creating a gel by mixing a natural small molecule additive(thioctic acid, TA) with spiro-OMe TAD. We discover that gelation effectively improves the compactness of resultant HTL and prevents moisture and oxygen infiltration. Moreover, the gelation of HTL improves not only the conductivity of spiro-OMe TAD, but also the operational robustness of the devices in the atmospheric environment. In addition, TA passivates the perovskite defects and facilitates the charge transfer from the perovskite layer to HTL. 9Computational Methods for Prediction of Human Protein-Phenotype Associations:A Review显示文摘Deciphering the relationship between human proteins(genes)and phenotypes is one of the fundamental tasks in phenomics research.The Human Phenotype Ontology(HPO)builds upon a standardized logical vocabulary to describe the abnormal phenotypes encountered in human diseases and paves the way towards the computational analysis of their genetic causes.To date,many computational methods have been proposed to predict the HPO annotations of proteins.In this paper,we conduct a comprehensive review of the existing approaches to predicting HPO annotations of novel proteins,identifying missing HPO annotations,and prioritizing candidate proteins with respect to a certain HPO term.For each topic,we first give the formalized description of the problem,and then systematically revisit the published literatures highlighting their advantages and disadvantages,followed by the discussion on the challenges and promising future directions.In addition,we point out several potential topics to be worthy of exploration including the selection of negative HPO annotations and detecting HPO misannotations.We believe that this review will provide insight to the researchers in the field of computational phenotype analyses in terms of comprehending and developing novel prediction algorithms.Lizhi Liu Shanfeng Zhu 2021Phenomics2021,1,4:1

16Value Circulation Theory——Based on Practices of Agricultural Circular Economy显示文摘If all material units in the economic entities (including inorganic substances and organisms) can fully realize value circulation, the entities will be able to produce the largest total value. Total value refers to the 'net value' by subtracting 'negative value' from 'positive value'. The 'positive value' is the direct value of products provided by the economic entities, and the 'negative value' refers to the value loss caused by the negative influence of economic entities on resource environment and social economy.
