| 2 | Absolute calibration of HY-2A and Jason-2 altimeters for sea surface height using GPS buoy in Qinglan, China显示文摘GPS buoy methodology is one of the main calibration methodologies for altimeter sea surface height calibration. This study introduces the results of the Qinglan calibration campaign for the HY-2A and Jason-2 altimeters. It took place in two time slices;one was from August to September 2014, and the other was in July 2015. One GPS buoy and two GPS reference stations were used in this campaign. The GPS data were processed using the real-time kinematic (RTK) technique. The fi nal error budget estimate when measuring the sea surface height (SSH) with a GPS buoy was better than 3.5 cm. Using the GPS buoy, the altimeter bias estimate was about -2.3 cm for the Jason-2 Geophysical Data Record (GDR) Version ‘D' and from -53.5 cm to -75.6 cm for the HY-2A Interim Geophysical Data Record (IGDR). The bias estimates for Jason-2 GDR-D are similar to the estimates from dedicated calibration sites such as the Harvest Platform, the Crete Site and the Bass Strait site. The bias estimates for HY-2A IGDR agree well with the results from the Crete calibration site. Twelve core signaling cascades have been established critical in PDAC tumorigenesis by governing a wide variety of cellular processes. Micro RNAs(mi RNAs) are aberrantly expressed in different types of tumors and play pivotal roles as post-transcriptional regulators of gene expression. | 6 | Three-dimensional graphitic carbon sphere foams as sorbents for cleaning oil spills显示文摘Frequent offshore oil spill accidents, industrial oily sewage, and the indiscriminate disposal of urban oily sewage have caused seri- ous impacts on the human living environment and health. The traditional oil-water separation methods not only cause easily environmental secondary pollution but also a waste of limited resources. Therefore, in this work, three-dimensional (3D) graphitic carbon sphere (GCS) foams (collectively referred hereafter as 3D foams) with a 3D porous structure, pore size distribution of 25-200 μm, and high porosity of 62vol% were prepared for oil adsorption via gel casting using GCS as the starting materials. The results indicate that the water contact angle (WCA) of the as-prepared 3D foams is 130°. The contents of GCS greatly influenced the hydrophobicity, WCA, and microstructure of the as-prepared samples. The adsorption capacities of the as-prepared 3D foams for paraffin oil, vegetable oil, and vacuum pump oil were approximately 12-15 g/g, which were 10 times that of GCS powder. | 8 | Preliminary calibration results for Jason-3 and Sentinel-3 altimeters in the Wanshan Islands显示文摘We present preliminary calibration results for Jason-3 and Sentinel-3A altimeters that we set up in the Wanshan Islands in Guandong Province,China.Two campaigns were carried out in 2018,from March 8 to April 16 and from November 3 to December 11,2018.Three GPS reference stations and tide gauges were established on the islands of Zhiwan,Dangan,and Wailingding during the campaigns.The in-situ sea surface height(SSH)of the altimeter footprint was determined using the tide gauge.The tidal and geoid connection between the tide gauge locations and the altimeter footprints were computed with the NAO.99Jb tidal prediction system and the EGM 2008 geoid,respectively.The data of the tide gauges were defi ned using the GPS buoy and GPS reference stations during the campaigns.The results show that the waveform of the altimeters was slightly contaminated by the small islands.The bias associated with Jason-3 and Sentinel-3A amounted to approximately+20.7±49.7 mm and+30.1±39.4 mm,respectively,which agreed well with the results from other in-situ calibration fi elds.This indicates that the Wanshan area was very suitable as an in-situ calibration/validation fi eld.The wet zenith delay(WZD)determined from the Microwave Radiometer(MWR)and the GPS measurements diff ered from each other for the Jason-3 and Sentinel-3A by−6.6±7.4 mm and 0±6.8 mm,respectively. | Wanlin ZHAI Jianhua ZHU Xiaohui FAN Longhao YAN Chuntao CHEN Zhen TIAN | 2021 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,2: | 1 |

| 15 | NAS4RRAM: neural network architecture search for inference on RRAM-based accelerators显示文摘The RRAM-based accelerators enable fast and energy-efficient inference for neural networks.However, there are some requirements to deploy neural networks on RRAM-based accelerators, which are not considered in existing neural networks.(1) Because the noise problem and analog-digital converters/digitalanalog converters(ADC/DAC) affect the prediction accuracy, they should be modeled in networks.(2) Because the weights are mapped to the RRAM cells, they should be quantized, and the number of weights is limited by the number of RRAM cells in the accelerator. These requirements motivate us to customize the hardware-friendly network for the RRAM-based accelerator. We take the idea of network architecture search(NAS) to design networks with high prediction accuracy that meet the requirements. We propose a framework called NAS4RRAM to search for the optimal network on the given RRAM-based accelerator. The experiments demonstrate that NAS4RRAM can apply to different RRAM-based accelerators with different scales. | 16 | Efficacy and safety of subsequent radiotherapy in patients with advanced-stage hepatocellular carcinoma treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors显示文摘Background:The development of immunotherapy resistance is associated with a poor prognosis in patients diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)who are undergoing treatment with immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICI).This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of subsequent radiotherapy(RT)for patients with advanced-stage HCC who had lesion enlargement or new lesions(NLs)during ICI therapy.Methods:This retrospective observational study enrolled 36 patients with advanced-stage HCC who underwent subsequent RT for lesion enlargement or NLs during ICI therapy from two centers.The primary endpoints were progression-free survival(PFS)and overall survival(OS).The secondary endpoints included objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),1-and 2-year local control(LC)rates,in-field PFS(IFPFS),out-field PFS(OFPFS),and safety.Results:The median follow-up time was 15.3 months.The median PFS was 7.4 months[95%confidence interval(CI):3.1-11.7 months],and the median OS was 18.8 months(95%CI:17.1-20.5 months).ORR and DCR were 38.9%and 72.2%,respectively.In addition,the median IFPFS was 17.8 months(95%CI:11.5-24.2 months),median OFPFS was 7.9 months(95%CI:3.4-12.5 months),and estimated 1-and 2-year LC rates were 67.1%and 31.9%,respectively.The most common treatment-related adverse events(all grades)were diarrhea(33.3%),rash(30.6%),and malaise(27.8%);a total of 14(38.9%)patients developed grade 3-4 AEs.Conclusions:Subsequent RT showed reliable antitumor effects and an acceptable safety profile in patients with advanced-stage HCC who had unsatisfactory response to ICI therapy;therefore,it could serve as an optional salvage strategy. | Cong Ning Jun Jia Xinmu Zhang Jing Sun Yunchao Wang Jingnan Xue Longhao Zhang Xiaorong Hou Xiaobo Yang Xinting Sang Xuezhang Duan Haitao Zhao | 2023 | Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2023,12,6: | 0 |
| 17 | Obtaining accurate measurements of the sea surface height from a GPS buoy显示文摘A dedicated GPS buoy is designed for calibration and validation(Cal/Val)of satellite altimeters since 2014.In order to evaluate the accuracy of the sea surface height(SSH)measured by the GPS buoy,twelve campaigns have been done within China sea area between 2014 and 2021.In six of these campaigns,two static Global Navigation Satellite System stations were installed at distances of<1 km and 19 km from the buoy to assess how the baseline length influenced the derived SSH from the buoy solutions.The GPS buoy data was processed using the GAMIT/GLOBK software+TRACK module and CSRS-PPP tool to achieve the SSH.The SSH was compared with conventionally tide gauge(TG)data to evaluate the accuracy of the buoy with the standard deviation of the height element.The results showed that the difference in the standard deviation of the SSH from the buoy and the TG was less than 16 mm.The SSHs processed with different ephemeris(Ultra-Rapid,Rapid,Final)were not significantly different.When the baseline length was 19 km,the SSH solution of the GPS buoy performed well,with standard bias of less than 26 mm between the heights measured by the buoy and TG,meaning that the buoy could be used for Cal/Val of altimeters.The bias between the Canadian Spatial Reference System-precise point positioning tool and the TRACK varied a lot,and some of them were over 130 mm.This deemed too high to be useful for Cal/Val of satellite altimeters.Moreover,the GPS buoy solutions processed by GAMIT/GLOBK software+TRACK module were used for in-orbit Cal/Val of HY-2B/C satellites in ten campaigns.The SSH and significant wave height of the altimeters showed good agreements with the GPS buoy solutions. | Wanlin Zhai Jianhua Zhu Chuntao Chen Wu Zhou Longhao Yan Yufei Zhang Xiaoqi Huang Kai Guo | 2023 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2023,42,6: | 0 |
| 18 | Surface-targeted functionalization of nickel-rich cathodes through synergistic slurry additive approach with multi-level impact using minimal quantity显示文摘LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O_(2)(NCM811),a Ni-rich layered oxide,is a promising cathode material for high-energy density lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).However,its structural instability,caused by adverse phase transitions and continuous oxygen release,as well as deteriorated interfacial stability due to excessive electrolyte oxidative decomposition,limits its widespread application.To address these issues,a new concept is proposed that surface targeted precise functionalization(STPF)of the NCM811 cathode using a synergistic slurry additive(SSA)approach.This approach involves coating the NCM811 particle surface with 3-aminopropyl dimethoxy methyl silane(3-ADMS),followed by the precise deposition of ascorbic acid via an acid-base interaction.The slurry additives induce the formation of an ultra-thin spinel surface layer and a stable cathode–electrolyte interface(CEI),which enhances the electrochemical kinetics and inhibits crack propagation.The STPF strategy implemented by the SSA approach significantly improves the cyclic stability and rate performance of the NCM811 cathode in both half-cell and full-cell configurations.This work establishes a promising strategy to enhance the structural stability and electrochemical performance of nickel-rich cathodes and provides a feasible route to promote practical applications of high-energy density lithium-ion battery technology. | Jing Zhang Jiapei Li Longhao Cao Wenhua Cheng Ziyin Guo Xiuxia Zuo Chao Wang Ya-Jun Cheng Yonggao Xia Yudai Huang | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,1: | 0 |
| 19 | A Primary Study on Mechanical Properties of Heat-Treated Wood via in-situ Synthesis of Calcium Carbonate显示文摘This study aims to improve the value of fast-growing wood and extend the heat-treated wood utilization using inorganic calcium carbonate(CaCO_(3))crystals via an in-situ synthesis method.CaCl_(2)and Na 2CO_(3)solutions with a concentration ratio of 1:1 were successively introduced into the thermally modified poplar wood obtained by steam heat treatment(HT)at 200℃for 1.5 and 3 h,resulting in the in-situ synthesis of CaCO_(3)crystals inside the heat-treated wood.The filling effect was best at the concentration of 1.2 mol/L.CaCO_(3)was uniformly distributed in the cell cavities of the heat-treated wood,and some of the crystals were embedded in the fissures of the wood cell walls.The morphology of CaCO_(3)crystals was mainly spherical and rhombic polyhedral.Three main types of CaCO_(3)crystals were calcite,vaterite,and aragonite.The HT of poplar wood at 200℃resulted in degrading the chemical components of the wood cell wall.This degradation led to reduced wood mechanical properties,including the surface hardness(HD),modulus of rupture(MOR),and modulus of elasticity(MOE).After CaCO_(3)was in-situ synthesized in the heat-treated wood,the HD increased by 18.36%and 16.35%,and MOR increased by 14.64%and 8.89%,respectively.Because of the CaCO_(3)synthesization,the char residue of the 200℃heat-treated wood samples increased by 9.31%and the maximum weight loss rate decreased by 19.80%,indicating that the filling with CaCO_(3)cannot only improve the mechanical properties of the heat-treated wood but also effectively enhance its thermal stability. | Dianen Liang Zhenhao Ding Qilin Yan Redžo Hasanagić Leila Fathi Zi Yang Longhao Li Jianbo Wang Houhua Luo Qian Wang Demiao Chu | 2023 | Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,1: | 0 |
| 20 | NiCoP/NiOOH nanoflowers loaded on ultrahigh porosity Co foam for hydrogen evolution reaction under large current density显示文摘Developing user-friendly electrodes for efficiently producing hydrogen from water to substitute non-renewable fossil fuels is one of the challenges in the hydrogen energy field.For the first time,we have prepared self-supporting ultrahigh porosity cobalt foam loaded with NiCoP/NiOOH nanoflowers(NiCoP/CF)via freeze-drying and phosphorization.The as-prepared hierarchical NiCoP/CF electrodes showed superior catalytic activity for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)in alkaline media.The one resulted from phosphorization at 350℃(NiCoP/CF-350)only required overpotential of-47,and-126 mV to deliver geometrical current density of-10 mA cm^(-2) and-100 mA cm^(-2),respectively,demonstrating improved catalytic activity than the electrodes prepared using a commercial nickel foam as a support.Moreover,it could retain its superior stability at a current density higher than-500 mA cm^(-2) for 16 h.Such an outstanding performance can be attributed to the ultrahigh porosity of Co foam support,optimal adsorption energies of HER intermediates(H^(*)),facile water dissociation on the NiCoP/NiOOH heterointerfaces,and the assistance of NiOOH facilitating the electrons transfer from the Co foam inside to the NiCoP outside.The work would provide a new strategy for future design of advanced HER electrocatalysts. | Yuantao Pei Liang Huang Lei Han Haijun Zhang Longhao Dong Quanli Jia Shaowei Zhang | 2022 | Green Energy & Environment2022,7,3: | 0 |
