| 2 | Sepiolite/Cu_2O/Cu photocatalyst: Preparation and high performance for degradation of organic dye显示文摘A novel ternary sepiolite/Cu_2O/Cu(SCC) nanocomposite was successfully synthesized by a facile one-pot method. The Cu_2O/Cu nanoparticles in the SCC nanocomposite are well dispersed on the sepiolite surface. It exhibited enhanced photocatalytic performance in the degradation of congo red(CR), remarkably superior to that of Cu_2O or Cu_2O/Cu nanoparticles. Elemental copper in the SCC serves as a good electron acceptor to promote the transfer of photo-generated electrons in Cu_2O and suppress the recombination of the photo-generated electrons and holes of the composite. The enhanced photocatalytic efficiency is attributed to the synergistic effect of sepiolite and Cu_2O/Cu. | 4 | Adsorption and Regeneration of Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs)on Coal-Based Activated Carbon by Ferric Nitrate Modification显示文摘In this study,the Heishan coal was used to prepare a series of activated carbon(AC)samples via a vapor deposition method.The effects of the Fe(NO_(3))3/coal weight ratio on the physicochemical properties of the activated carbon were systematically investigated,and the AC samples were analyzed by the N2 adsorption-desorption technique,the scanning electron microscopy,the X-ray diffraction,the Raman spectroscopy,and the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.Furthermore,the adsorption properties of ethyl acetate were investigated.The results indicated that as the Fe(NO_(3))3/coal mass ratio increased from 1:8 to 1:2,the specific surface area,the total pore volume and the micropore volume initially increased and then decreased.The specific surface area increased from 560.86 m^(2)/g to 685.90 m^(2)/g,and then decreased to 299.56 m^(2)/g.The total pore volume and micropore volume increased from 0.29 cm^(3)/g and 0.17 cm^(3)/g to 0.30 cm^(3)/g and 0.22 cm^(3)/g,and then decreased to 0.16 cm^(3)/g and 0.10 cm^(3)/g,respectively.The optimized ratio was 1:8.During the activation process,iron ions infiltrated the activated carbon to promote the development of the pore structure,the pore size of which was between 2.5 nm and 3 nm in daimeter.This approach could enhance the capacity for adsorption of ethyl acetate.It is worth noting that the ACs displaying the largest specific surface area and total pore volume(685.90 m^(2)/g and 0.30 cm^(3)/g)were formed under the optimized activation conditions(950℃,20%(volume)of CO_(2),ratio 1:5),and the maximum AC capacity for adsorption of ethyl acetate was 962.62 mg/g.After seven repeated thermal regeneration experiments,the saturated AC adsorption capacity was still above 90%. | Jin Chunjiang Chen Huimin Wang Luyuan Cheng Xingxing Sun Rongfeng | 2021 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,3: | 4 |

| 8 | Comparison of algorithms for monitoring wheat powdery mildew using multi-angular remote sensing data显示文摘Powdery mildew is a disease that threatens wheat production and causes severe economic losses worldwide. Its timely diagnosis is imperative for preventing and controlling its spread. In this study, the multiangle canopy spectra and disease severity of wheat were investigated at several developmental stages and degrees of disease severity. Four wavelength variable-selected algorithms: successive projection(SPA), competitive adaptive reweighted sampling(CARS), feature selection learning(Relief-F), and genetic algorithm(GA), were used to identify bands sensitive to powdery mildew. The wavelength variables selected were used as input variables for partial least squares(PLS), extreme learning machine(ELM), random forest(RF), and support vector machine(SVM) algorithms, to construct a suitable prediction model for powdery mildew. Spectral reflectance and conventional vegetation indices(VIs) displayed angle effects under several disease severity indices(DIs). The CARS method selected relatively few wavelength variables and showed a relatively homogeneous distribution across the 13 viewing zenith angles.Overall accuracies of the four modeling algorithms were ranked as follows: ELM(0.70–0.82) > PLS(0.63–0.79) > SVM(0.49–0.69) > RF(0.43–0.69). Combinations of features and algorithms generated varied accuracies, with coefficients of determination(R^(2)) single-peaked at different observation angles. The constructed CARS-ELM model extracted a predictable bivariate relationship between the multi-angle canopy spectrum and disease severity, yielding an R^(2)> 0.8 at each measured angle. Especially for larger angles,monitoring accuracies were increased relative to the optimal VI model(40% at-60°, 33% at +60°), indicating that the CARS-ELM model is suitable for extreme angles of-60° and +60°.
