| 2 | A review of fire-extinguishing agent on suppressing lithium-ion batteries fire显示文摘Safety issue of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)such as fires and explosions is a significant challenge for their large scale applications.Considering the continuously increased battery energy density and wider large-scale battery pack applications,the possibility of LIBs fire significantly increases.Because of the fast burning and the easy re-ignition characteristics of LIBs,achieving an efficient and prompt LIBs fire suppression is critical for minimizing the fire hazards.Different from conventional fire hazards,the LIBs fire shows complicated and comprehensive characteristics,and an effective and suitable fire-extinguishing agent particularly designed for LIBs is highly desirable.Considerable efforts have been devoted to this topic,to the best of our knowledge,a comprehensive review on this regard is still rare.Moreover,in practice,a guidance for the design and selections of a proper fire-extinguishing agent for LIBs is urgently needed.Herein,the special mechanisms and characteristics for LIBs fire and the corresponding design principles for LIBs fire-extinguishing agent were introduced.It is revealed that a fire-extinguishing agent developed for LIBs fire will most likely need a high heat capacity,high wetting,low viscosity and low electrical conductivity.After a comprehensive comparison of these agents in terms of these performances,water-based fire-extinguishing agents show best.Several typical fire-extinguishing agents such as gaseous agents,dry powders,water-based and aerosol fire-extinguishing agents were then introduced,and their fire extinguishment mechanisms were presented.Finally,their effectiveness in suppressing the fire were summarized.Water-based fire-extinguishing agents possess high cooling capacity and excellent anti-reflash performance for the fire.We believe this review could shed light on developing an efficient fire-extinguishing agent particularly designed for LIBs. | Shuai Yuan Chongye Chang Shuaishuai Yan Pan Zhou Xinming Qian Mengqi Yuan Kai Liu | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,11: | 13 |
| 3 | Effect of Cyclocarya paliurus polysaccharides on streptozotocin-induced diabetic nephropathy in rats显示文摘OBJEVTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of Cyclocarya paliurus(C.paliurus)polysaccharides on streptozotocin-induced diabetic nephropathy in rats.METHODS:Rats were divided into 6 groups,including group of normal control,group of diabetic control,group of metformin treatment,low-dose group of C.paliurus polysaccharides treatment,middle-dose group of C.paliurus polysaccharides treatment and high-dose group of C.paliurus polysaccharides treatment.Histological analysis of kidney was analyzed using hematoxilin and eosin.Levels of blood glucose,creatinine,urea,uric acid were determined by spectrophotometry.Anti-oxidative enzymes were measured by real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR)and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Advanced glycation end products(AGEs)and transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)level was measured by ELISA.RESULTS:Abnormal changes were observed in the group of diabetic control characterized by atrophy of the renal glomeruli with hypercellularity,congestion of glomerular tufts,dilation of the renal spaces,and degeneration of renal tubule.Compared with that of normal group,blood glucose,creatinine,urea,uric acid level was significantly increased in the group of diabetic control.Superoxide dismutase,catalase,glutathione peroxidase,glutathione reductase level was significantly decreased,but AGEs and TGF-β1 level was significantly increased.By contrast,administration of C.paliurus polysaccharides and metformin could reverse the above-mentioned results of the group of diabetic control,especially in the high-dose group of C.paliurus polysaccharides.CONCLUSION:Our findings suggest that C.paliurus polysaccharides may play a protecting role for nephropathy of diabetic rats by lowering glucose,creatinine,urea,uric acid level,enhancing the antioxidative ability,and reducing AGEs and TGF-β1 expression. | Xia Xichao Mao Dongxue Dai Hongmei Wu Xi Zhang Zuyuan Wang Huaying Zhou Wenwen Dong Yanmei Wang Mengqi Li Yuan Shao Xiangyang Ouyang Jingfeng | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,6: | 9 |
| 4 | Large-scale experimental investigation of the effects of gas explosions in underdrains显示文摘This study involved the construction and explosion of a large-scale(80-meter-long)underdrain and detailed investigations of the damaging impacts of a gas explosion to provide an experimental foundation for similarity modeling and infrastructural designs.The experiment vividly recreated the scene and explosion damage of the'11.22″explosion accident in Qingdao,China,thus allowing for evaluations of the movements and destruction of the cover plates.The damage mechanism was determined by analyzing the overpressure curves inside and outside the underground canal.It was determined that the cover plates were first lifted by the precursor wave,which induced a maximum overpressure of 0.06 MPa and resulted in explosion venting.The pressure entered the deflagration stage at the end of the explosion.The combustion wave overpressure reached 3.115 MPa close to the initiation point,and had a significant influence on the projectile energy of the cover plates there.Overall,64%of the cover plates were only affected by the precursor wave,while 36%of the cover plates were subjected to both the precursor wave and the combustion wave;these cover plates were severely damaged.The results of this study provide fundamental insights relevant to the prevention and control of underdrain gas explosions. | Longfei Hou Yuanzhi Li Xinming Qian Chi-Min Shu Mengqi Yuan Weike Duanmu | 2021 | Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2021,2,2: | 2 |
| 5 | Gelation of Hole Transport Layer to Improve the Stability of Perovskite Solar Cells显示文摘To achieve high power conversion efficiency(PCE) and long-term stability of perovskite solar cells(PSCs), a hole transport layer(HTL) with persistently high conductivity, good moisture/oxygen barrier ability, and adequate passivation capability is important. To achieve enough conductivity and effective hole extraction, spiro-OMe TAD, one of the most frequently used HTL in optoelectronic devices, often needs chemical doping with a lithium compound(LiTFSI). However, the lithium salt dopant induces crystallization and has a negative impact on the performance and lifetime of the device due to its hygroscopic nature. Here, we provide an easy method for creating a gel by mixing a natural small molecule additive(thioctic acid, TA) with spiro-OMe TAD. We discover that gelation effectively improves the compactness of resultant HTL and prevents moisture and oxygen infiltration. Moreover, the gelation of HTL improves not only the conductivity of spiro-OMe TAD, but also the operational robustness of the devices in the atmospheric environment. In addition, TA passivates the perovskite defects and facilitates the charge transfer from the perovskite layer to HTL. | 7 | A dual-signal sensor for the analysis of parathion-methyl using silver nanoparticles modified with graphitic carbon nitride显示文摘A highly sensitive and selective method was developed for both UVevis spectrophotometric and fluorimetric determination of organophosphorus pesticides(OPs). This method used silver nanoparticles(AgNPs) modified with graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_3N_4). The AgNPs reduced the fluorescence intensity of g-C_3N_4. Acetylthiocholine(ATCh) could be catalytically hydrolyzed by acetylcholinesterase(AChE) to form thiocholine, which induces aggregation of the AgNPs. This aggregation led to the recovery of the blue fluorescence of g-C_3N_4, with excitation/emission peaks at 310/460 nm. This fluorescence intensity could be reduced again in the presence of OPs because of the inhibitory effect of OPs on the activity of AChE. The degree of reduction was found to be proportional to the concentration of OPs, and the limit of fluorometric detection was 0.0324 mg/L(S/N=3). In addition, the absorption of the g-C_3N_4/AgNPs at 390 nm decreased because of the aggregation of the AgNPs, but was recovered in presence of OPs because of the inhibition of enzyme activity by OPs. | 8 | Interleukin-13 promotes cellular senescence through inducing mitochondrial dysfunction in IgG4-related sialadenitis显示文摘Immunoglobulin G4-related sialadenitis(IgG4-RS)is an immune-mediated fibro-inflammatory disease and the pathogenesis is still not fully understood.The aim of this study was to explore the role and mechanism of interleukin-13(IL-13)in the cellular senescence during the progress of IgG4-RS.We found that the expression of IL-13 and IL-13 receptorα1(IL-13Rα1)as well as the number of senescent cells were significantly higher in the submandibular glands(SMGs)of IgG4-RS patients.IL-13 directly induced senescence as shown by the elevated activity of senescence-associatedβ-galactosidase(SA-β-gal),the decreased cell proliferation,and the upregulation of senescence markers(p53 and p16)and senescence-associated secretory phenotype(SASP)factors(IL-1βand IL-6)in SMG-C6 cells.Mechanistically,IL-13 increased the level of phosphorylated signal transducer and activator of transcription 6(p-STAT6)and mitochondrial-reactive oxygen species(mt ROS),while decreased the mitochondrial membrane potential,ATP level,and the expression and activity of superoxide dismutase 2(SOD2).Notably,the IL-13-induced cellular senescence and mitochondrial dysfunction could be inhibited by pretreatment with either STAT6 inhibitor AS1517499 or mitochondria-targeted ROS scavenger Mito TEMPO.Moreover,IL-13 increased the interaction between p-STAT6 and c AMP-response element binding protein(CREB)-binding protein(CBP)and decreased the transcriptional activity of CREB on SOD2.Taken together,our findings revealed a critical role of IL-13 in the induction of salivary gland epithelial cell senescence through the elevated mitochondrial oxidative stress in a STAT6–CREB–SOD2-dependent pathway in IgG4-RS. | Mengqi Zhu Sainan Min Xiangdi Mao Yuan Zhou Yan Zhang Wei Li Li Li Liling Wu Xin Cong Guangyan Yu | 2022 | International Journal of Oral Science2022,14,3: | 1 |

| 15 | Evidence for coupled iron and nitrate reduction in the surface waters of Jiaozhou Bay显示文摘Iron and nitrate(NO_(3)^(-))are dominant physiologically required nutrients for phytoplankton growth,and iron may also play a key role in the marine nitrogen cycle.In this study,we investigated the temporal and spatial distributions of dissolved iron(DFe)and Fe(Ⅱ)in the surface waters of Jiaozhou Bay(JZB)from April 2 to July 26,2017.High concentrations of DFe and Fe(Ⅱ)predominantly occurred in nearshore and estuarine stations and concentrations were generally higher in April and May.The highest DFe concentration was observed along the coast of Hongdao(51.55 nmol/L)in May,while the lowest concentration was observed in the western coastal region(2.88 nmol/L)in April.The highest and lowest Fe(Ⅱ)concentrations were observed in the Licun estuary(22.42 nmol/L)and outer bay(0.50 nmol/L)in May,respectively.We calculated the proportions of nitrate,nitrite,and ammonium in dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN)as well as the ratio of Fe(Ⅱ)to DFe in all four months.The mean Fe(Ⅱ)/DFe ratio was 0.48 in April,0.43 in May,0.69 in June,and 0.32 in July.The mean ratio of NO_(3)^(-)to DIN was 0.78 in April,0.54 in May,0.20 in June,and 0.62 in July.NO_(3)^(-)/DIN continuously decreased in the first three months,while Fe(Ⅱ)/DFe remained high,which suggests that the reduction of iron and nitrate occurred simultaneously in the surface waters of JZB. | Kunyu Ma Rujun Yang Shenglu Qu Yingying Zhang Yuan Liu He Xie Minghan Zhu Mengqi Bi | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,10: | 0 |

| 17 | Fengyun-4 Geostationary Satellite-Based Solar Energy Nowcasting System and Its Application in North China显示文摘Surface solar irradiance(SSI)nowcasting(0-3 h)is an effective way to overcome the intermittency of solar energy and to ensure the safe operation of grid-connected solar power plants.In this study,an SSI estimate and nowcasting system was established using the near-infrared channel of Fengyun-4A(FY-4A)geostationary satellite.The system is composed of two key components:The first is a hybrid SSI estimation method combining a physical clear-sky model and an empirical cloudy-sky model.The second component is the SSI nowcasting model,the core of which is the derivation of the cloud motion vector(CMV)using the block-matching method.The goal of simultaneous estimation and nowcasting of global horizontal irradiance(GHI)and direct normal irradiance(DNI)is fulfilled.The system was evaluated under different sky conditions using SSI measurements at Xianghe,a radiation station in the North China Plain.The results show that the accuracy of GHI estimation is higher than that of DNI estimation,with a normalized root-mean-square error(nRMSE)of 22.4%relative to 45.4%.The nRMSE of forecasting GHI and DNI at 30-180 min ahead varied within 25.1%-30.8%and 48.1%-53.4%,respectively.The discrepancy of SSI estimation depends on cloud occurrence frequency and shows a seasonal pattern,being lower in spring-summer and higher in autumn-winter.The FY-4A has great potential in supporting SSI nowcasting,which promotes the development of photovoltaic energy and the reduction of carbon emissions in China.The system can be improved further if calibration of the empirical method is improved. | Chunlin HUANG Hongrong SHI Ling GAO Mengqi LIU Qixiang CHEN Disong FU Shu WANG Yuan YUAN Xiang′ao XIA | 2022 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,8: | 0 |

| 19 | Alantolactone inhibits proliferation,metastasis and promotes apoptosis of human osteosarcoma cells by suppressing Wnt/β-catenin and MAPKs signaling pathways显示文摘Although there are many therapeutic strategies such as surgery and chemotherapy,the prognosis of osteosarcoma(OS)is still far from being satisfactory.It is urgent to develop more effective,tolerable and safe drugs for the treatment of OS.In the present study,we investigated the anti-OS activity of Alantolactone(ALT),a natural eucalyptone sesquiterpene lactone mainly exists in Inula helenium,and probed the possible mechanism involved.We demonstrated that ALT significantly inhibited cell proliferation of various human OS cell lines while had relative lower cytotoxicity against normal cells.Then,we validated that ALT reduced migration,decreased invasion possibly through reversing epithelial mesenchymal transition(EMT)process and suppressing Matrix metalloproteinases(MMPs).Moreover,we confirmed that ALT promoted apoptosis and arrested cell cycle at G2/M phase of human OS cells in vitro.In addition,we confirmed that ALT restrained tumor growth and metastasis of OS 143 cells in a xenograft model in vivo.Mechanistically,ALT inhibited the activity of Wnt/β-catenin and p38,ERK1/2 and JNK Mitogen Activated Protein Kinases(MAPKs)signal pathway.Notably,the combination of ALT and Wnt/β-catenin inhibitor,as well as the combination of ALT and MAPKs inhibitors resulted in a synergistically effect on inhibiting the proliferation,migration and invasion of OS cells.Collectively,our results validate the ALT may inhibit proliferation,metastasis and promotes apoptosis of human OS cells possibly through suppressing Wnt/β-Catenin and MAPKs signaling pathways. | Chunmei Yang Lulu Zhang Huakun Huang Xiaohui Yuan Ping Zhang Caihong Ye Mengqi Wei Yanran Huang Xiaoji Luo Jinyong Luo | 2022 | Genes & Diseases2022,9,2: | 0 |
