4Carbon Emission of Regional Land Use and Its Decomposition Analysis: Case Study of Nanjing City, China显示文摘Through the matching relationship between land use types and carbon emission items, this paper estimated carbon emissions of different land use types in Nanjing City, China and analyzed the influencing factors of carbon emissions by Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index(LMDI) model. The main conclusions are as follows: 1) Total anthropogenic carbon emission of Nanjing increased from 1.22928 x 107 t in 2000 to 3.06939 x 107 t in 2009, in which the carbon emission of Inhabitation, mining & manufacturing land accounted for 93% of the total. 2) The average land use carbon emission intensity of Nanjing in 2009 was 46.63 t/ha, in which carbon emission intensity of Inhabitation, mining & manufacturing land was the highest(200.52 t/ha), which was much higher than that of other land use types. 3) The average carbon source intensity in Nanjing was 16 times of the average carbon sink intensity(2.83 t/ha) in 2009, indicating that Nanjing was confronted with serious carbon deficit and huge carbon cycle pressure. 4) Land use area per unit GDP was an inhibitory factor for the increase of carbon emissions, while the other factors were all contributing factors. 5) Carbon emission effect evaluation should be introduced into land use activities to formulate low-carbon land use strategies in regional development.ZHAO Rongqin HUANG Xianjin LIU Ying ZHONG Taiyang DING Minglei CHUAI Xiaowei 2015Chinese Geographical Science2015,25,2:10
5microRNA-mediated R gene regulation: molecular scabbards for double-edged swords显示文摘Plant resistance(R) proteins are immune receptors that recognize pathogen effectors and trigger rapid defense responses, namely effector-triggered immunity. R protein-mediated pathogen resistance is usually race specific. During plant-pathogen coevolution,plant genomes accumulated large numbers of R genes. Even though plant R genes provide important natural resources for breeding disease-resistant crops, their presence in the plant genome comes at a cost. Misregulation of R genes leads to developmental defects, such as stunted growth and reduced fertility. In the past decade, many microRNAs(miRNAs) have been identified to target various R genes in plant genomes. miRNAs reduce R gene levels under normal conditions and allow induction of R gene expression under various stresses. For these reasons, we consider R genes to be double-edged 'swords' and miRNAs as molecular 'scabbards'. 6Warming moxibustion attenuates inflammation and cartilage degradation in experimental rabbit knee osteoarthritis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore the molecular mechanism of warming moxibustion(WM)in knee osteoarthritis(KOA).METHODS:The knee joints of 40 New Zealand rabbits were placed in a plaster cast in an extended position to establish a KOA model.The animals were randomly divided into four groups:the control group,model group,WM group,and diclofenac(DF)group.Hematoxylin-eosin staining and the modified Mankin score were applied to evaluate the histopathological changes.Chondrocyte apoptosis was determined by the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling(TUNEL)assay.Western blotting and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction were performed to measure the expression of interleukin-1β(IL-1β),prostaglandin E receptor 3(PTGER3),a disintegrin-like and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin type-1 motifs-5(ADAMTS-5),matrix metalloproteinase-13(MMP-13),and C-terminal telopeptides of collagen typeⅡ(CTX-Ⅱ)in cartilage tissues of the different groups.The concentrations of IL-1β,PTGER3,and CTX-Ⅱin serum were detected by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.RESULTS:Rabbits with KOA in the WM and DF groups showed significantly reduced cartilage erosion and Mankin scores,compared with the untreated rabbits.The number of TUNEL-positive cells observed in the WM group was much fewer than that in the model group.The expression of PTGER3,MMP-13,CTX-Ⅱ,IL-1β,and ADAMTS-5 in cartilage tissues was remarkably downregulated following therapy with WM and DF.Moreover,a marked reduction was observed in the serum levels of IL-1β,PTGER3,and CTX-Ⅱin the WM and DF groups.CONCLUSION:WM exerts favorable therapeutic effects on articular injuries of KOA by regulating the expression of inflammatory and cartilage degradation-related cytokines.LIU Di WU Yongli LI Chun WANG Minglei MA Xiaoxiu LIU Junwei ZHANG Yanling YANG Lei 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,6:9
7Classified real-time flood forecasting by coupling fuzzy clustering and neural network显示文摘This paper presented a new classified real-time flood forecasting framework by integrating a fuzzy clustering model and neural network with a conceptual hydrological model. A fuzzy clustering model was used to classify historical floods in terms of flood peak and runoff depth, and the conceptual hydrological model was calibrated for each class of floods. A back-propagation (BP) neural network was trained by using real-time rainfall data and outputs from the fuzzy clustering model. BP neural network provided a rapid on-line classification for real-time flood events. Based on the on-line classification, an appropriate parameter set of hydrological model was automatically chosen to produce real-time flood forecasting. Different parameter sets was continuously used in the flood forecasting process because of the changes of real-time rainfall data and on-line classification results. The proposed methodology was applied to a large catchment in Liaoning province, China. Results show that the classified framework provided a more accurate prediction than the traditional non-classified method. 8In situ construction of porous hierarchical(Ni3-xFex)FeN/Ni heterojunctions toward efficient electrocatalytic oxygen evolution显示文摘As a choke point in water electrolysis,the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)suffers from the severe electrode polarization and large overpotential.Herein,the porous hierarchical hetero-(Nis Fe)FeN/Ni catalysts are in situ constructed for the eficient electrocatalytic OER.X-ray absorption fine structure characterizations reveal the strong Ni-Fe bimetallic interaction in(Niz Fex)FeN/Ni.Theoretical study indicates the heterojunction and bimetallic interaction decrease the free-energy change for the rate-limiting step of the OER and the overpotential thereof.In addition,the high conductivity and porous hierarchical morphology favor the electron transfer,electrolyte access and O2 release.Consequently,the optimized catalyst achieves a low overpotential of 223 mV at 10 mA.cm^-2,a small Tafel slope of 68 mV:dec^-1,and a high stability.The excellent performance of the optimized catalyst is also demonstrated by the overall water electrolysis with a low working voltage and high Faradaic efficiency.Moreover,the correlation between the structure and performance is well established by the experimental characterizations and theoretical calculations,which confirms the origin of the OER activity from the surface metal oxyhydroxide in situ generated upon applying the current.This study suggests a promising approach to the advanced OER electrocatalysts for practical applications by constructing the porous hierarchical metal-compound/metal heterojunctions.Minglei Yan Kun Mao Peixin Cui Chi Chen Jie Zhao Xizhang Wang Lijun Yang Hui Yang Qiang Wu Zheng Hu 2020Nano Research2020,13,2:8
9Novel Annulus-shaped Flexure Pivot in Rotation Application and Dimensionless Design显示文摘Large-deflection flexure pivot is widely used in high precision rotation application, but there are less flexure configurations and simple and convenient design methods. This paper presents a novel large-deflection curved-compliant annulus-shaped flexure pivot composed of six curved beam flexure elements. It can offer more than 10°angular stroke theoretically. Firstly, main-motion pseudo-rigid-body method is introduced to establish the flexure pivot model. Although pseudo-rigid-body method can be used to analyze the large-deformation flexure pivot performance, the method is definitely a laborious and difficult task for designing this novel flexure pivot. In order to simply the designing process, dimension-design graphs based on the parametric models and finite element analysis is presented. Using the dimension-design method as a tool, the designers can determine the optimal geometry rapidly, based on the stiffness and rotation demands of an annulus-shaped flexure pivot. Finally, dimension-design graph examples are given whose primary design aims to achieve a rotation stroke of annulus-shaped flexure pivot. The finite element analysis results show that the relative designing error between anticipative rotation stroke and graph design result is less than 4%. The dimensionless method used in designing annulus-shaped flexure pivot can reduce design process in both time and complexity. 11Extractive Distillation of Methyl Acetate-Methanol Azeotrope Using [DMIM]DMP as Solvent显示文摘In order to separate methyl acetate and methanol azeotrope, the ionic liquid(IL) 1,3-dimethylimidazolium dimethylphosphate([DMIM]DMP) was used as the solvent. The Aspen Plus software was used to design and optimize the extractive distillation process. Under the optimized conditions, the mass fractions of methyl acetate and methanol were both above 99.5%. Compared with the dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO) process, the [DMIM]DMP process has the advantages of saving energy and lower equipment investment cost. 12Survival difference between EGFR Del19 and L858R mutant advanced non-small cell lung cancer patients receiving gefitinib:a propensity score matching analysis显示文摘Objective: Although superior clinical benefits of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs) in the treatment of advanced non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC) had been reported,the survival difference between exon 19 deletion(Del19) and exon 21 Leu858 Arg substitution(L858 R) remains controversial.The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences in progression-free survival(PFS) and overall survival(OS) between different EGFR mutant subtypes among advanced NSCLC patients receiving gefitinib.Methods: There were 204 advanced NSCLC patients with EGFR mutations treated with gefitinib were enrolled in this retrospective cohort study.Patients were divided into the EGFR Del19 group and the L858 R mutated group according to their mutant subtype.Propensity score matching(PSM) was conducted by using a nearest-neighbor algorithm(1:1) to adjust for demographical and clinical covariates.Survival curves were constructed with the Kaplan-Meier method and compared by using the log-rank test.Results: The PFS in Del19 group was similar to that in the L858 R group [before PSM 8.6 vs.7.2 months,P=0.072; after PSM 7.3 vs.7.2 months,P=0.155].No differences were detected in OS between the L858 R and the Del19 group(before PSM 17.8 vs.13.1 months,P=0.253; after PSM 16.9 vs.13.1 months,P=0.339).The Del19 group was significantly younger compared with the L858 R mutation group in age(P=0.015).Conclusions: No significant difference was found in the PFS or OS between the Del19 and L858 R mutant NSCLC patients receiving gefitinib.The age gap might contribute to the survival differences between Del19 and L858 R groups.PSM is of important value to the elimination of potential bias.Minglei Zhuo Qiwen Zheng Jun Zhao Meina Wu Tongtong An Yuyan Wang Jianjie Li Shuhang Wang Jia Zhong Xue Yang Hanxiao Chen Bo Jia Zhi Dong Emei Gao JingjingWang Ziping Wang 2017Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,6:4
13Frequency steering of spaceborne clocks based on XPNAV-1 observations显示文摘Due to high stable rotations, timing of pulsars provides a natural tool to correct the frequency deviation of spaceborne atomic clocks. Based on processing the observational data about a year of Crab pulsar given by XPNAV-1 satellite, we study the possibility of correcting the frequency deviation of spaceborne atomic clocks using pulsar timing. According to the observational data in X-ray band and the timing model parameters from radio observations, the pre-fit timing residuals with a level of 67.66 μs are obtained. By fitting the slope of the timing residuals affected by the faked frequency-biased reference clock, we estimated successfully the relative frequency deviation of the reference clock. 15Experimental far-field imaging properties of high refractive index microsphere lens显示文摘The far-field imaging properties of a high index microsphere lens spatially separated from the object are experimentally studied. Our experimental results show that, for a Blu-ray disk whose spacing is 300 nm, the high index microsphere lens also can discern the patterns of the object sample when the distance between the lens and the object is up to 5.4 μm. When the distance is increased from 0 to 5.4 μm, for the microsphere lens with a diameter of 24 μm, the lateral magnification increases from 3.5× to 5.5×, while the field of view decreases from 5.1 to 3.0 μm. By varying the distance between the lens and the object, the optical image can be optimized. 17A phase I study of nimotuzumab plus docetaxel in chemotherapy- refractory/resistant patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer显示文摘Background: To determine the safety and therapeutic efficacy of nimotuzumab(h-R3) combined with docetaxel in advanced non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC) patients who have failed to respond to prior first-line chemotherapy.Methods: In this single-center, open-label, dose-escalating phase I trial, patients with epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)-expressing stage IV NSCLC were treated with nimotuzumab plus docetaxel according to a dose escalation schedule. The safety and efficacy of the combination treatment were observed and analyzed.Results: There were 12 patients with EGFR-expressing stage IV NSCLC enrolled. The dose of nimotuzumab was escalated from 200 to 600 mg/week. The longest administration of study drug was 40 weeks at the 600 mg/week dose level. Grade III–IV toxicities included neutropenia and fatigue, and other toxicities included rash. Dose-limiting toxicity occurred with Grade 3 fatigue at the 200 mg dose level of nimotuzumab and Grade 4 neutropenia with pneumonia at the 600 mg dose level of nimotuzumab. No objective responses were observed, and stable disease was observed in eight patients(66.7%). The median progression-free survival(PFS) was 4.4 months in all patients, 1.3 months in patients with the EGFR mutation, and 4.4 months in those with wild type EGFR(EGFR WT). The median survival time(MST) was 21.1 months in all patients, 21.1 months in patients with EGFR mutation, and 26.4 months in patients with EGFR WT.Conclusions: Nimotuzumab and docetaxel combination therapy was found to be well tolerated and efficacious. 18Lead-bismuth-free piezoceramics (Na_(0.5)K_(0.44)Li_(0.06))Nb_(0.95)Sb_(0.05)O_3-Na_(5.6)Cu_(1.2)Sb_(10)O_(29)显示文摘Newly developed sintering aid Na5.6Cu1.2Sb10O29 (NCS) and lead-bismuth-free piezoceramics (Na0.5K0.44Li0.06) Nb0.95Sb0.05O3 (NKLNS) were prepared by the conventional solid state reaction. The effects of sintering aid NCS on the electrical properties of NKLNS were investigated. It was found that the addition of a proper amount of sintering aid NCS to NKLNS is effective not only on improving the density and the piezoelectric activity, but also on reducing the dielectric loss of NKLNS. The NKLNS doped with 0.4 mol% NCS has a piezoelectric constant d33 as high as 261pC/N and an electromechanical coupling factor k33 above 60%. 19Fixed-time position coordinated tracking control for spacecraft formation flying with collision avoidance显示文摘In this paper,the fixed-time stability of spacecraft formation reconfiguration(position tracking)is studied.Firstly,a novel nonsingular terminal sliding mode surface is designed and based on which a fixed-time coordinated controller is designed to keep the closed-loop system states have a finite settling time bounded by some predefined constants.Secondly,another nonsingular terminal sliding mode surface is designed by combining the artificial potential function and the aforementioned sliding surface,which meets the mutual distance constraint during transition process among spacecraft when it is bounded.Then another coordinated controller with fixed-time observer considering mutual distance constraint is presented,which guarantees the closed-loop system states stable also in bounded settling time.Finally,simulation results are shown to validate the correctness of the proposed theorems.It is worth mentioning that the control schemes also work even though there is a properly limit on the control input.Minglei ZHUANG Liguo TAN Kehang LI Shenmin SONG 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,11:2
