| 1 | Effect of NH_4F and Nano-SiO_2 on Morphological Control of α-Al_2O_3 Platelets via Solid-state Reaction显示文摘Alpha-alumina(α-Al_2O_3) platelets were prepared via solid-state reaction using pseudo-boehmite as the starting material, while NH_4F and nano-SiO_2 were used as additives, and nitric acid was used as the binder. The effect of these additives on properties of the alumina platelets was determined via scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and measurements of the surface area and silicon content. A mechanism governing their role in the synthesis process was proposed. The results indicated that NH_4F could promote the formation of highly crystalline platelets. Addition of nano-SiO_2 could lead to increase in the diameter and reduction in the thickness of the platelets, and could also prevent their transformation to α-Al_2O_3. | 2 | An off-line simulation of land surface processes over the northern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘In order to further understand the land surface processes over the northern Tibetan Plateau, this study produced an off-line simulated examination at the Bujiao site on the northern Tibetan Plateau from June 2002 to April 2004, using the Noah Land Surface Model(Noah LSM) and observed data from the CAMP/Tibet experiment. The observed data were necessarily corrected and the number of soil layers in the Noah LSM was changed from 4 to 10 to enable this off-line simulation and analysis. The main conclusions are as follows: the Noah LSM performed well on the northern Tibetan Plateau. The simulated net radiation, upward longwave radiation, and upward shortwave radiation demonstrated the same remarkable annual and seasonal variation as the observed data, especially the upward longwave radiation. The simulated soil temperatures were acceptably close to the observed temperatures, especially in the shallow soil layers. The simulated freezing and melting processes were shown to start from the surface soil layer and spread down to the deep soil layers, but they took longer than the observed processes. However, Noah LSM did not adequately simulate the soil moisture. | 3 | Determination of optimal dietary selenium levels by full expression of selenoproteins in various tissues of broilers from 1 to 21 d of age显示文摘The current NRC dietary selenium(Se)requirement(0.15 mg/kg)of broilers is primarily based on growth performance data reported in 1986.Our study aimed to determine optimal dietary Se levels of broilers fed a practical corn-soybean meal diet for the full expression of selenoproteins in various tissues.A total of 384 one-d-old male broilers(n=8 replicates/diet)were fed a basal corn-soybean meal diet or the basal diet supplemented with 0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4 or 0.5 mg Se/kg in the form of Na_(2)SeO_(3) for 21 d.Regression analysis was conducted to evaluate the optimal dietary Se levels using broken-line,quadratic or asymptotic models.The activity of glutathione peroxidase(GPX)in the plasma,liver,kidney and pancreas,iodothyronine deiodinase(DIO)in the plasma,liver and pancreas,and thioredoxin reductase(Txnrd)in the liver and pancreas,the mRNA levels of Gpx1,Gpx4,Dio1,selenoprotein(Seleno)h,Selenop and Selenou in the liver,Gpx4,Dio1,Txnrd1,Txnrd2,Selenoh,Selenop and Selenou in the kidney,and Gpx1,Gpx4,Selenoh and Selenou in the pancreas,and the protein levels of GPX4 in the liver and kidney of broilers were influenced(P<0.05)by added Se levels,and increased quadratically(P<0.05)with the increase of added Se levels.The estimates of optimal dietary Se levels were 0.07 to 0.36 mg/kg based on the fitted broken-line,quadratic or asymptotic models(P<0.001)of the aforementioned selenoprotein expression in the plasma,liver and kidney,and 0.09 to 0.46 mg/kg based on the fitted broken-line models(P<0.001)of the aforementioned selenoprotein expression in the pancreas.The results indicate that the optimal dietary Se levels would be 0.36 mg/kg to support the full expression of selenoproteins in the plasma,liver and kidney,and 0.46 mg/kg to support the full expression of selenoproteins in the pancreas of broilers fed a practical corn-soybean meal diet from 1 to 21 d of age. | Xiudong Liao Guoqing Liu Guangming Sun Xiaoming Sun Tao Liu Lin Lu Liyang Zhang Minhong Zhang Yanli Guo Xugang Luo | 2021 | Animal Nutrition2021,,4: | 2 |

| 20 | Noise-robust voice conversion based on joint dictionary optimization显示文摘A noise robust voice conversion algorithm based on joint dictionary optimization is proposed to effectively convert noisy source speech into the target one. In composition of the joint dictionary, speech dictionary is optimized using backward elimination algorithm. At the same time, a noise dictionary is introduced to match the noisy speech. The experimental results show that the backward elimination algorithm can reduce the number of dictionary frames and reduce the amount of calculation while ensuring the conversion effect. In low SNR and multiple noise environments, the algorithm has better conversion effect than both the traditional NMF algorithm and the NMF conversion algorithm plus spectral subtraction de-noising.
