1Mapping wetland changes in China between 1978 and 2008显示文摘Four wetland maps for all China have been produced,based on Landsat and CBERS-02B remote sensing data between 1978 and 2008 (1978,1990,2000 and 2008).These maps were mainly developed by manual interpretation and validated by substantial field investigation in 2009.Based on these maps,we analyzed the 2008 wetland distribution in China and discussed wetland changes and their drivers over the past 30 years.(i) There were about 324097 km 2 of wetlands in 2008,for which inland marshes or swamps were the most common wetland type (35%),with lakes (26%) second.Most of the wetlands were in Heilongjiang,Inner Mongolia,Qinghai and Tibet,occupying about 55% of the national wetland area.(ii) From 1978 to 2008,China's wetland area continually and significantly decreased,by about 33% based on changes in the wetland map.This was in sharp contrast to the increase in artificial wetlands,which increased by about 122%.Inland marshes accounted for the main loss of total wetlands from 1978 to 2000.From 2000 through 2008,riverine and lacustrine wetlands constituted the main wetland loss.Fortunately however,the rate of wetland loss decreased from 5523 to 831 km 2 /a.(iii) The change ratio of lost natural wetlands (including inland and coastal wetlands) to non-wetlands has decreased slightly over the past 30 years.From 1978 to 1990,nearly all natural wetlands (98%) lost were transformed into non-wetlands.However,the ratio declined to 86% from 1990 to 2000,and to 77% from 2000 to 2008.(iv) All Chinese provinces were divided into three groups according to patterns of wetland changes,which could relate to the driving forces of such changes.Tibet was completely different from other provinces,as it was one representative example in which there was a net wetland increase,because of global warming and decreased human activity since 1990.Increased economic development caused considerable wetland loss in most eastern provinces,and artificial wetlands increased.NIU ZhenGuo ZHANG HaiYing WANG XianWei YAO WenBo ZHOU DeMin ZHAO KuiYi ZHAO Hui LI NaNa HUANG HuaBing LI CongCong YANG Jun LIU CaiXia LIU Shuang WANG Lin LI Zhan YANG ZhenZhong QIAO Fei ZHENG YaoMin CHEN YanLei SHENG YongWei GAO XiaoHong ZHU WeiHong WANG WenQing WANG Hong WENG YongLing ZHUANG DaFang LIU JiYuan LUO ZhiCai CHENG Xiao GUO ZiQi GONG Peng 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,22:51
2An integrated chemical mass balance and source emission inventory model for the source apportionment of PM2.5 in typical coastal areas显示文摘The source apportionment of PM2.5 is essential for pollution prevention.In view of the weaknesses of individual models,we proposed an integrated chemical mass balancesource emission inventory(CMB-SEI)model to acquire more accurate results.First,the SEI of secondary component precursors(SO2,NOx,NH3,and VOCs)was compiled to acquire the emission ratios of these sources for the precursors.Then,a regular CMB simulation was executed to obtain the contributions of primary particle sources and secondary components(SO4^2-,NO3^-3,NH4^+,and SOC).Afterwards,the contributions of secondary components were apportioned into primary sources according to the source emission ratios.The final source apportionment results combined the contributions of primary sources by CMB and SEI.This integrated approach was carried out via a case study of three coastal cities(Zhoushan,Taizhou,and Wenzhou;abbreviated WZ,TZ,and ZS)in Zhejiang Province,China.The regular CMB simulation results showed that PM2.5 pollution was mainly affected by secondary components and mobile sources.The SEI results indicated that electricity,industrial production and mobile sources were the largest contributors to the emission of PM2.5 gaseous precursors.The simulation results of the CMB-SEI model showed that PM2.5 pollution in the coastal areas of Zhejiang Province presented complex pollution characteristics dominated by mobile sources,electricity production sources and industrial production sources.Compared to the results of the CMB and SEI models alone,the CMB-SEI model completely apportioned PM2.5 to primary sources and simultaneously made the results more accurate and reliable in accordance with local industrial characteristics.Nana Cheng Cheng Zhang Deji Jing Wei Li Tianjiao Guo Qiaoli Wang Sujing Li 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,6:8

4Halide Homogenization for High-Performance Blue Perovskite Electroluminescence显示文摘Metal halide perovskite light-emitting diodes(LEDs)have achieved great progress in recent years.However,bright and spectrally stable blue perovskite LED remains a significant challenge.Three-dimensional mixed-halide perovskites have potential to achieve high brightness electroluminescence,but their emission spectra are unstable as a result of halide phase separation.Here,we reveal that there is already heterogeneous distribution of halides in the as-deposited perovskite films,which can trace back to the nonuniform mixture of halides in the precursors.By simply introducing cationic surfactants to improve the homogeneity of the halides in the precursor solution,we can overcome the phase segregation issue and obtain spectrally stable single-phase blueemitting perovskites.We demonstrate efficient blue perovskite LEDs with high brightness,e.g.,luminous efficacy of 4.7,2.9,and 0.4 lmW^(-1) and luminance of over 37,000,9,300,and 1,300 cdm^(-2) for sky blue,blue,and deep blue with Commission Internationale de l’Eclairage(CIE)coordinates of(0.068,0.268),(0.091,0.165),and(0.129,0.061),respectively,suggesting real promise of perovskites for LED applications.Lu Cheng Chang Yi Yunfang Tong Lin Zhu Gunnar Kusch Xiaoyu Wang Xinjiang Wang Tao Jiang Hao Zhang Ju Zhang Chen Xue Hong Chen Wenjie Xu Dawei Liu Rachel AOliver Richard HFriend Lijun Zhang Nana Wang Wei Huang Jianpu Wang 2020Research2020,,1:4
5Microcavity top-emission perovskite light-emitting diodes显示文摘Light-emitting diodes(LEDs)based on perovskites show great potential in lighting and display applications.However,although perovskite films with high photoluminescence quantum efficiencies are commonly achieved,the efficiencies of perovskite LEDs are largely limited by the low light out-coupling efficiency.Here,we show that high-efficiency perovskite LEDs with a high external quantum efficiency of 20.2% and an ultrahigh radiant exitance up to 114.9mWcm^(−2) can be achieved by employing the microcavity effect to enhance light extraction.The enhanced microcavity effect and light outcoupling efficiency are confirmed by the study of angle-dependent emission profiles.Our results show that both the optical and electrical properties of the device need to be optimized to achieve high-performance perovskite LEDs.Yanfeng Miao Lu Cheng Wei Zou Lianghui Gu Ju Zhang Qiang Guo Qiming Peng Mengmeng Xu Yarong He Shuting Zhang Yu Cao Renzhi Li Nana Wang Wei Huang Jianpu Wang 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:4

10Multiple-quantum-well perovskite for hole-transport-layer-free light-emitting diodes显示文摘We demonstrate hole-transport-layer-free light-emitting diodes(LEDs) based on solution-processed multiple-quantum-well(MQW) perovskite. The MQW perovskite can self-assemble to a unique structure of vertically graded distribution with two-dimensional layered perovskite covered by three-dimensionallike perovskite at top, which can naturally form a barrier of electron transporting to the anode interface,thereby enhancing the charge capture efficiency. 12IRE1α regulates the PTHrP-IHH feedback loop to orchestrate chondrocyte hypertrophy and cartilage mineralization显示文摘Cartilage development is controlled by the highly synergistic proliferation and differentiation of growth plate chondrocytes,in which the Indian hedgehog(IHH)and parathyroid hormone-related protein-parathyroid hormone-1 receptor(PTHrP-PTH1R)feedback loop is crucial.The inositol-requiring enzyme 1a/X-box-binding protein-1 spliced(IRE1α/XBP1s)branch of the unfolded protein response(UPR)is essential for normal cartilage development.However,the precise role of ER stress effector IRE1α,encoded by endoplasmic reticulum to nucleus signaling 1(ERN1),in skeletal development remains unknown.Herein,we reported that loss of IRE1α accelerates chondrocyte hypertrophy and promotes endochondral bone growth.ERN1 acts as a negative regulator of chondrocyte proliferation and differentiation in postnatal growth plates.Its deficiency interrupted PTHrP/PTH1R and IHH homeostasis leading to impaired chondrocyte hypertrophy and differentiation.XBP1s,produced by p-IRE1α-mediated splicing,binds and up-regulates PTH1R and IHH,which coordinate cartilage development.Meanwhile,ER stress cannot be activated normally in ERN1-deficient chondrocytes.In conclusion,ERN1 deficiency accelerates chondrocyte hypertrophy and cartilage mineralization by impairing the homeostasis of the IHH and PTHrP/PTH1R feedback loop and ER stress.ERN1 may have a potential role as a new target for cartilage growth and maturation.Mengtian Fan Nana Geng Xingyue Li Danyang Yin Yuyou Yang Rong Jiang Cheng Chen Naibo Feng Li Liang Xiaoli Li Fengtao Luo Huabing Qi Qiaoyan Tan Yangli Xie Fengjin Guo 2024Genes & Diseases2024,11,1:0
13Field-portable ratiometric fluorescence imaging of dual-color label-free carbon dots for uranyl ions detection with cellphone-based optical platform显示文摘Under the public spotlight,uranyl(UO22+)ions has attracted considerable attention for the extreme radioactive and chemical toxicity to ourselves and our environment.Herein,we present a simple and effective ratiometric fluorescence imaging method for the visualizing and quantitative detection UO22+ions by cellphone-based optical platform.The sensing solution was prepared by mixing label-free red carbon dots(r-CDs)and blue carbon dots(b-CDs)together with a fixed photoluminescence intensity ratio of 4:1.When UO22+ions were added,the fluorescence of r-CDs can be selectively quenched,while the fluorescence of b-CDs remains stable without spectral cha nges.With the gradually increase the amounts of UO22+ions,the different response of dual-color CDs resulted in a signification color evolution from deep red to dark purple under the ultraviolet(UV)light illumination.Then,a cellphone-based optical platform was constructed for directly imaging the color change of the samples,and the built-in Colorpicker APP quickly output the red,green and blue(RGB)channel values of these images within one second.Interesting,there was a linear relationship between the ratio of red and blue(R/B)channel values and UO22+ions concentration from 0μmol/L to 30.0μmol/L(R^2=0.92804)with the detection limit of^8.15μmol/L(signal-to-noise ratio of 3).In addition,the optical platform has also been applied to the quantification of UO22+ions in tap water and river water sample.With the advantage of low-cost,portable,easy to operation,we anticipate that this method would greatly improve the accessibility of UO22+ions detection even in resource-limited areas.Jingjing Qian Nana Cao Jian Zhang Jinjin Hou Qian Chen Cheng Zhang Yudie Sun Shengjun Liu Lifang He Kui Zhang Haibo Zhou 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,11:0
14A general synthesis of inorganic nanotubes as high-rate anode materials of sodium ion batteries显示文摘Ino rganic tubular materials have an exceptionally wide range of applications,yet developing a simple and universal method to controllably synthesize them remains challenging.In this work,we report a vaporphase-etching hard-template method that can directly fabricate tubes on various thermally stable oxide and sulfide materials.This synthesis method features the introduction of a vapor-phase-etching process to greatly simplify the steps involved in preparing tubular materials and avoids complicated postprocessing procedures.Furthermore,the in-situ heating transmission electron microscopy(TEM)technique is used to observe the dynamic formation process of TiO_(2-x) tubes,indicating that the removal process of the Sb2S3 templates first experienced the Rayleigh instability,then vapor-phase-etching process.When used as an anode for sodium ion batteries,the TiO_(2-x) tube exhibits excellent rate performance of134.6 mA h g^(-1) at the high current density of 10 A g^(-1) and long-term cycling over 7000 cycles.Moreover,the full cell demonstrates excellent cycling performance with capacity retention of 98%after 1000 cycles,indicating that it is a promising anode material for batteries.This method can be expanded to the design and synthesis of other thermally-stable tubular materials such as ZnS,MoS_(2),and SiO_(2).Chunting Wang Ningyan Cheng Zhongchao Bai Qinfen Gu Feier Niu Xun Xu Jialin Zhang Nana Wang Binghui Ge Jian Yang Yitai Qian Shixue Dou 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,2:0
15Progranulin regulation of autophagy contributes to its chondroprotective effect in osteoarthritis显示文摘Progranulin(PGRN)is a multifunctional growth factor involved in many physiolog-ical processes and disease states.The apparent protective role of PGRN and the importance of chondrocyte autophagic function in the progression of osteoarthritis(OA)led us to investi-gate the role of PGRN in the regulation of chondrocyte autophagy.PGRN knockout chondro-cytes exhibited a deficient autophagic response with limited induction following rapamycin,serum starvation,and IL-1b-induced autophagy.PGRN-mediated anabolism and suppression of IL-1b-induced catabolism were largely abrogated in the presence of the BafA1 autophagy inhibitor.Mechanistically,during the process of OA,PGRN and the ATG5eATG12 conjugate form a protein complex;PGRN regulates autophagy in chondrocytes and OA through,at least partially,the interactions between PGRN and the ATG5eATG12 conjugate.Furthermore,the ATG5eATG12 conjugate is critical for cell proliferation and apoptosis.Knockdown or knockout of ATG5 reduces the expression of ATG5eATG12 conjugate and inhibits the chondroprotective effect of PGRN on anabolism and catabolism.Overexpression of PGRN partially reversed this effect.In brief,the PGRN-mediated regulation of chondrocyte autophagy plays a key role in the chondroprotective role of PGRN in OA.Such studies provide new insights into the pathogen-esis of OA and PGRN-associated autophagy in chondrocyte homeostasis.Yiming Pan Yuyou Yang Mengtian Fan Cheng Chen Rong Jiang Li Liang Menglin Xian Biao Kuang Nana Geng Naibo Feng Lin Deng Wei Zheng Fengmei Zhang Xiaoli Li Fengjin Guo 2023Genes & Diseases2023,10,4:0
16A novel approach for VOC source apportionment combining characteristic factor and pattern recognition technology in a Chinese industrial area显示文摘Volatile organic compound(VOC) emission control and source apportionment in small-scale industrial areas have become key topics of air pollution control in China. This study proposed a novel characteristic factor and pattern recognition(CF-PR) model for VOC source apportionment based on the similarity of characteristic factors between sources and receptors.A simulation was carried out in a typical industrial area with the CF-PR model involving simulated receptor samples. Refined and accurate source profiles were constructed through in situ sampling and analysis, covering rubber, chemicals, coating, electronics, plastics, printing, incubation and medical treatment industries. Characteristic factors of n-undecane,styrene, o-xylene and propane were identified. The source apportionment simulation results indicated that the predicted contribution rate was basically consistent with the real contribution rate. 17Promotion of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis by RNA N^(6)-methyladenosine reader IGF2BP2 in mice显示文摘Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)has emerged as the major cause of end-stage liver diseases.However,an incomplete understanding of its molecular mechanisms severely dampens the development of pharmacotherapies.In the present study,through systematic screening of genome-wide mRNA expression from three mouse models of hepatic inflammation and fibrosis,we identified IGF2BP2,an N6-methyladenosine modification reader,as a key regulator that promotes NASH progression in mice.Adenovirus or adeno-associated virus-mediated overexpression of IGF2BP2 could induce liver steatosis,inflammation,and fibrosis in mice,at least in part,by increasing Tab2 mRNA stability.Besides,hepatic overexpression of IGF2BP2 mimicked gene expression profiles and molecular pathways of human NASH livers.Of potential clinical significance,IGF2BP2 expression is significantly upregulated in the livers of NASH patients.Moreover,knockdown of IGF2BP2 substantially alleviated liver injury,inflammation,and fibrosis in diet-induced NASH mice.Taken together,our findings reveal an important role of IGF2BP2 in NASH,which may provide a new therapeutic target for the treatment of NASH.Bing Zhou Yunchen Luo Nana Ji Fei Mao Liping Xiang Hua Bian Ming-Hua Zheng Cheng Hu Yao Li Yan Lu 2022Life Metabolism2022,1,2:0
18A supplementary assessment system of AQI-V for comprehensive management and control of air quality in chemical industrial parks显示文摘Volatile organic compounds(VOCs)are the dominant pollutants in industrial parks.However,they are not generally considered as part of the air quality index(AQI)system,which leads to a biased assessment of pollution in industrial parks.In this study,a supplementary assessment system of AQI-V was established by analyzing VOCs characteristics with vehicle-mounted PTR-TOFMS instrument,correlation analysis and the standards analysis.Three hourly and daily scenarios were considered,and the hierarchical parameter setting was further optimized by field application.The hourly and daily assessments revealed the evaluation factors for the discriminability of different air quality levels,practiced value for regional air quality improvement,and the reservation of general dominant pollutants.Finally,the universality testing in ZPIP successfully recognized most of the peaks,with 54.76%,38.39%and 6.85%for O_(3),VOCs and NO_(2) as the dominant pollutant,and reflected the daily ambient air quality condition,togetherwith the dominant pollutant.The AQI-V systemwith VOCs sub-index is essential for air quality evaluation in industrial parks,which can further provide scientific support to control the pollution of VOCs and the secondary pollutant,therefore significantly improve the air quality in local industrial parks.Qiaoli Wang Dongping Sheng Chengzhi Wu Deji Jing Nana Cheng Xingnong Cai Sujing Li Jingkai Zhao Wei Li Jianmeng Chen 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,8:0
19Improved Na storage and Coulombic efficiency in TiP_(2)O_(7)@C microflowers for sodium ion batteries显示文摘Ti-based anode materials in sodium ion batteries have attracted extensive interests due to its abundant resources,low toxicity,easy synthesis and long cycle life.However,low Coulombic efficiency and limited specific capacity affect their applications.Here,cubic-phase TiP_(2)O_(7)is examined as anode materials,using in-situ/ex-situ characterization techniques.It is concluded that the redox reactions of Ti4^(+)/Ti^(3+)and Ti^(3+)/Ti^(0)consecutively occur during the discharge/charge processes,both of which are highly reversible.These reactions make the specific capacity of TiP_(2)O_(7)even higher than the case of TiO2 that only contains a simple anion,0^(2-).Interestingly,Ti species participate only one of the redox reactions,due to the remarkable difference in local structures related to the sodiation process.The stable discharge/charge products in TiP_(2)O_(7)reduce the side reactions and improve the Coulombic efficiency as compared to T i02.These features make it a promising Ti-based anode for sodium ion batteries.Therefore,TiP_(2)O_(7)@C microflowers exhibit excellent electrochemical performances,〜109 mAh·g^(-1)after 10,000 cycles at 2 A·g^(-1),or 95.2 mAh·g^(-1)at 10 A·g^(-1).The results demonstrate new opportunities for advanced Ti-based anodes in sodium ion batteries.Jun Pan Nana Wang Lili Li Feng Zhang Zhenjie Cheng Yanlu Li Jian Yang Yitai Qian 2021Nano Research2021,14,1:0
20Preparation of Modified Enteromorpha-Immobilized Microbial Agent and Research on Diesel Removal Performance显示文摘Offshore oil pollution has caused serious impacts on plants and aquatic organisms in the marine ecosystem.Bioremediation of oil pollution by immobilized bacteria has aroused wide attention due to the high degradation rate compared with free bacteria.The properties of the carrier for immobilization play an important role in the oil degradation efficiency.In our study,a marine oil degrading bacteria Sp8(Shewanella algae)was selected from sea water,and enteromorpha was used as carrier material for the immobilization of Sp8.In order to increase the hydrophobicity,sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate(SDBS)was used as modifier to modify the surface of enteromorpha by the dipping method.Sodium alginate was used as the embedding carrier,and anhydrous calcium chloride was used as the cross-linking agent to prepare the SDBS-E immobilized microbial agent by the embedding method.Compared with the degradation rate achieved by free bacteria(78.87±8.29%),the diesel removal rate accomplished by SDBS-E immobilized microbial agent increased to 90.39±1.24%.The analysis of diesel removal mechanism showed that the diesel removal pathway mainly included surface adsorption,internal uptake,and biodegradation.The diesel removal efficiency relied on surface adsorption in the early stage,and then depended on biodegradation in the later stage.The removal of diesel by SDBS-E immobilized microbial agent conformed to the quasi-first-order degradation kinetic model.The results of software-MOE suggested that enteromorpha-immobilized microbial agent adsorbed diesel mainly through hydrogen bonds formed with diesel components.This study can provide a research basis and idea for the practical application of immobilization technology to remove petroleum from seawater in the future.Yang Yuping Li Nana Duan Weichao An Chenye Xue Jianliang Jiang Qing Cheng Dongle Shen Chanchan 2021China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,3:0
