| 2 | Selective oxidation of cyclopentene with H2O2 by using H3PW12O40 and TBAB as a phase transfer catalyst显示文摘The selective oxidation of cyclopentene by aqueous H2O2 using H3PW12O40 and tetrabutyl ammonium bromide(TBAB) as a phase transfer catalyst has been investigated. The results show that the presence of TBAB significantly improved the oxidation selectivity of cyclopentene. The effects of the reaction conditions on the conversion of cyclopentene were investigated in detail. The optimal reaction conditions are as follows: the H3PW12O40 to TBAB molar ratio, 1:1–1:3;H3PW12O40 to cyclopentene molar ratio,0.54:100–0.64:100;and molar ratio of H2O2 to cyclopentene, 1.6:1. The conversion reached to 59.8% in 4h at 35.0 ℃, while the selectivity of glutaraldehyde was 38.0% and the selectivity of 1,2-cyclopentanediol was 55.6%. Customers arrive in the system according to a Poisson process requiring service from a single server. It is assumed that all arriving customers are lost during the stock out period. We first derive the stationary joint distribution of the queue length and the on-hand inventory level in product form. Then, we compute explicitly some performance measures, and develop a cost function based on these performance measures. | 5 | Floralozone protects endothelial function in atherosclerosis by ameliorating NHE1显示文摘Endothelial dysfunction is the pathological basis of atherosclerosis.Incomplete understanding of endothelial dysfunction etiology has impeded drug development for this devastating disease despite the currently available therapies.Floralozone,an aroma flavor,specifically exists in rabbit ear grass.Recently,floralozone has been demonstrated to inhibit atherosclerosis,but the underlying mechanisms are undefined.The present study was undertaken to explore whether floralozone pharmacologically targets endothelial dysfunction and therefore exerts therapeutic effects on atherosclerosis.The Na+/H+exchanger 1(NHE1),a channel protein,plays a vital role in atherosclerosis.Whether NHE1 is involved in the therapeutic effects of floralozone on endothelial dysfunction has yet to be further answered.By performing oil red staining and hematoxylin–eosin staining,vascular functional study,and oxidative stress monitoring,we found that floralozone not only reduced the size of carotid atherosclerotic plaque but also prevented endothelial dysfunction in atherosclerotic rats.NHE1 expression was upregulated in the inner membrane of carotid arteries and H2O2-induced primary rat aortic endothelial cells.Inspiringly,floralozone prevented the upregulation of NHE1 in vivo and in vitro.Notably,the administration of NHE1 activator LiCl significantly weakened the protective effect of floralozone on endothelial dysfunction in vivo and in vitro.Our study demonstrated that floralozone exerted its protective effect on endothelial dysfunction in atherosclerosis by ameliorating NHE1.NHE1 maybe a drug target for the treatment of atherosclerosis,and floralozone may be an effective drug to meet the urgent needs of atherosclerosis patients by dampening NHE1. | Ning Huang Yue Qiu Yanhua Liu Tianheng Liu Xianjun Xue Ping Song Jian Xu Yutian Fu Ruili Sun Yaling Yin Peng Li | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,10: | 2 |

| 9 | First Discovery of Dicerorhinus sumatrensis from Yanjinggou Provides Insights into the Pleistocene Rhinocerotidae of South China显示文摘The Rhinocerotidae is one of the most common and important families in the Pleistocene mammalian fauna of South China.Since the last century,most of the Pleistocene rhinocerotid fossils were prematurely assigned to Rhinoceros sinensis,which has resulted in confusion of taxonomy for decades,especially in South China.The Yanjinggou area in Chongqing Municipality of China,where the neotype of R.sinensis came from,has yielded abundant rhinocerotid fossils and is a key area to solve this problem.A recently discovered juvenile skull from a karstic fissure in this area can be referred to Dicerorhinus sumatrensis(Fischer,1814),which is the first confirmed non-Rhinoceros rhinocerotid from the area.This new finding indicates that non-Rhinoceros fossils might have been mixed in AMNH collection from Yanjinggou and thus the diagnosis of Rhinoceros sinensis needs reformation.On the other hand,Stephanorhinus?kirchbergensis is also detected in Granger’s collection based on our reobservation.The coexistence of Rhinoceros,Dicerorhinus and Stephanorhinus shows the higher diversity of Pleistocene rhinocerotids in South China. | CHEN Shaokun PANG Libo YAN Yaling WEI Guangbiao YUE Zongying | 2021 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,4: | 1 |

Moreover, there is one production facility to produce items according to (s, S) policy, and the production time also follows an exponential (listribution. In the beginning, the stationary joint distribution is obtained in the product form for the queue length and the on-hand inventory level. Additionally, the resulting distribution is applied to derive some performance measures, which can be adopted to numerically calculate the optimal (s, S) policy. Finally, numerical analyses are processed to investigate the effects of some system parameters on the performance measures. | 12 | Sources of cumulus expansion enabling factor (CEEF) in porcine follicles显示文摘It was shown that expansion of porcine cumulus did not depend on oocyte-secreted factor(s), and it is therefore presumed that porcine CEEF may not be produced exclusively by the oocyte. In this experiment, we used mouse oocytectomized complexes (OOX), which were incapable of CEEF production, to assess the secretion of CEEF by evacuated zona, oocytes of different quality and somatic cells in the porcine follicles. The results showed that: (i) Evacuated zonae from both porcine and mouse oocytes did not produce CEEF. (ii) Porcine oocytes of A, B and C types from 3-6 mm follicles were not significantly different in both production and activity of CEEF. | 16 | Immunogenic cell death effects induced by doxorubicin improved chemo-immunotherapy via restoration of granzyme B activity显示文摘Chemotherapy remains one of the irreplaceable treatments for cancer therapy.The use of immunogenic cell death(ICD)-inducing chemotherapeutic drugs offers a practical strategy for killing cancer cells,simultaneously eliciting an antitumor immune response by promoting the recruitment of cytotoxic immune cells and production of granzyme B(GrB).However,numerous malignant cancers adaptively acquired the capacity of secreting serpinb9(Sb9),a physiological inhibitor of GrB,which can reversibly inhibit the biological activity of GrB.To circumvent this dilemma,in this study,an integrated tailor-made nanomedicine composed of tumor-targeting peptide(Arg-Gly-Asp,RGD)decorated liposome,doxorubicin(DOX,an effective ICD inducer),and the compound 3034(an inhibitor of Sb9),is developed(termed as D3RL)for breast cancer chemo-immunotherapy.In vitro and in vivo studies show that D3RL can directly kill tumor cells and trigger the host immune response by inducing ICD.Meanwhile,D3RL can competitively relieve the inhibition of Sb9 to GrB.The restored GrB can not only effectively induce tumor immunotherapy,but also degrade matrix components in the tumor microenvironment,consequently improving the infiltration of immune cells and the penetration of nanomedicines,which in return enhance the combined antitumor effect.Taken together,this work develops an integrated therapeutic solution for targeted production and restoration of GrB to achieve a combined chemo-immunotherapy for breast cancer. | Tao Huang Xiaofan Sun Yingqiu Qi Xi Yang Linyao Fan Mengdie Chen Yale Yue Hong Ge Yiye Li Guangjun Nie Huan Min Xianfu Sun | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,12: | 0 |
