| 2 | Geochemical characteristics of soil selenium and evaluation of Serich land resources in the central area of Guiyang City,China显示文摘Based on the results of multipurpose regional geochemical surveys of the Guizhou Province, geochemical characteristics of soil Se and Se-rich land resources in the central area of Guiyang City were studied and evaluated.Major conclusions are as follows:(1) the Se content in surface soil of the central area of Guiyang City was 0.17–2.89 mg kg^(-1), and the average was 0.78 mg kg^(-1), which were respectively 2.6 and 3.9 times of the national background value of soil and the world background value of soil.The Se content in deep soil was 0.11–1.48 mg kg^(-1), and the average was 0.44 mg kg^(-1), which were respectively 1.5 and2.2 times of the national background value of soil and the world background value of soil. The soil Se content decreased with the increase in the soil depth on the vertical profile, and the surface soil had a higher Se content.(2)Distribution of Se content was mainly affected by parent material, physicochemical properties of soil and other components, soil type, and land use type. Parent material played a key role, as the soil Se content was mainly originated from parent rock and increased with the background value of Se in parent rock, physicochemical properties of soil and other components had certain influences upon the Se content. Se was shown to have a significant linear positive correlation with S and organic carbon but no significant correlation with p H value. Se content varied with different types of soil as follows: skeleton soil > yellow soil > paddy soil > limestone soil > purple soil. Land use type also hadcertain influences upon the soil Se content as follows: dry land > construction land > garden plot > grassland =garden plot > forest land.(3) Taking 0.4 mg kg^(-1)B x(Se) <3.0 mg kg^(-1) as the standard for Se-rich soil, Se-rich soil of the study area covered an area of 2224 km^2 and 92.5% of the total area; the remaining is general soil. The study area had no Se-excess soil. | 3 | Microsatellite polymorphisms of Sichuan golden monkeys显示文摘Previous study using protein electrophoresis shows no polymorphism in 44 nuclear loci of Sichuan golden monkey (Rhinopithecus roxellana), which limits our understandings of its population genetic patterns in the nuclear genome. In order to obtain sufficient information, we scanned 14 microsatellite loci in a sample of 32 individuals from its three major habitats (Minshan, Qinling and Shen-nongjia). A considerable amount of polymorphisms were detected. The average heterozygosities in the local populations were all above 0.5. The differentiations among local populations were significant. There was evidence of geneflow among subpopulations, but geneflow between Qinling and Shennongjia local populations was the weakest. Minshan and Qinling populations might have gone through recent bottlenecks. The estimation of the ratio of the effective population sizes among local populations was close to that from census sizes. Comparisons to available mitochondria data suggested that R. roxellana’s social structures played an important role in shaping its population genetic patterns. | 4 | Channel Measurement and Path Loss Modeling from 220 GHz to 330 GHz for 6G Wireless Communications显示文摘Terahertz(THz)communication has been envisioned as a key enabling technology for sixthgeneration(6G).In this paper,we present an extensive THz channel measurement campaign for 6G wireless communications from 220 GHz to 330 GHz.Furthermore,the path loss is analyzed and modeled by using two single-frequency path loss models and a multiplefrequencies path loss model.It is found that at most frequency points,the measured path loss is larger than that in the free space.But at around 310 GHz,the propagation attenuation is relatively weaker compared to that in the free space.Also,the frequency dependence of path loss is observed and the frequency exponent of the multiple-frequencies path loss model is 2.1.Moreover,the cellular performance of THz communication systems is investigated by using the obtained path loss model.Simulation results indicate that the current inter-site distance(ISD)for the indoor scenario is too small for THz communications.Furthermore,the tremendous capacity gain can be obtained by using THz bands compared to using microwave bands and millimeter wave bands.Generally,this work can give an insight into the design and optimization of THz communication systems for 6G. | Pan Tang Jianhua Zhang Haoyu Tian Zhaowei Chang Jun Men Yuxiang Zhang Lei Tian Liang Xia Qixing Wang Jingsuo He | 2021 | China Communications2021,18,5: | 7 |

| 7 | Progress and Understanding on Catalysts with Well-defined Interface for Boosting CO_(2)Conversion显示文摘Catalytic conversion of CO_(2)into valuable chemicals like CH;OH is the most promising way to alleviate CO_(2)emission for solving the serious climate change issue.Multi-component catalysts with well-defined interface show outstanding performance in CO_(2)conversion due to the synergistic effects and multifunctional properties caused by the well-defined interface.A discharge technique,named as cold plasma,has been recognized as an excellent strategy for tuning catalyst interface properties.The temperature of cold plasma is lower than 200℃,and can be further lowered to room temperature by simply changing the operation conditions of cold plasma.The lower temperature of cold plasma can well maintain the catalyst structures,especially the porous structures.When conducting cold plasma,in addition to nontoxic working gases like Ar and air,no harmful substances are used.Cold-plasma-prepared catalysts have unique interface properties,and thereby exhibit superior performance in CO_(2)conversion over the catalysts prepared by traditional methods.The present review summarizes the progress about the cold-plasma-prepared catalysts for CO_(2)conversion,discusses the origin for the outstanding catalytic performance,and proposes the challenges and opportunities for further studies.This will stimulate more deep insights into the cold-plasma-prepared catalysts with well-defined interface properties for achieving more efficient CO_(2)conversion. | Binran Zhao Yiyi Zhao Peng Liu Yulong Men Xinyu Meng Yunxiang Pan | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Structural Chemistry2022,41,4: | 1 |

| 10 | The SACT Template:A Human Brain Diffusion Tensor Template for School-age Children显示文摘School-age children are in a specific development stage corresponding to juvenility,when the white matter of the brain experiences ongoing maturation.Dffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging(DWI),especially diffusion tensor imaging(DTI),is extensively used to characterize the maturation by assessing white matter properties in vivo.In the analysis of DWI data,spatial normalization is crucial for conducting inter-subject analyses or linking the individual space with the reference space.Using tensor-based registration with an appropriate diffusion tensor template presents high accuracy regarding spatial normalization.However,there is a lack of a standardized diffusion tensor template dedicated to school-age children with ongoing brain development.Here,we established the school-age children diffusion tensor(SACT)template by optimizing tensor reorientation on high-quality DTI data from a large sample of cognitively normal participants aged 6-12 years.With an age-balanced design,the SACT template represented the entire age range well by showing high similarity to the age-specific templates.Compared with the tensor template of adults,the SACT template revealed significantly higher spatial normalization accuracy and inter-subject coherence upon evaluation of subjects in two different datasets of schoolage children.A practical application regarding the age associations with the normalized DTI-derived data was conducted to further compare the SACT template and the adult template.Although similar spatial patterns were found,the SACT template showed significant effects on the distributions of the statistical results,which may be related to the performance of spatial normalization.Looking forward,the SACT template could contribute to future studies of white matter development in both healthy and clinical populations.The SACT template is publicly available now(tp://igshare com/aricles/dataseu'SACT_.template/14071283). | Congying Chu Haoran Guan Sangma Xie Yanpei Wang Jie Luo Gai Zhao Zhiying Pan Mingming Hu Weiwei Men Shuping Tan Jia-Hong Gao Shaozheng Qin Yong He Lingzhong Fan Qi Dong Sha Tao | 2022 | Neuroscience Bulletin2022,38,6: | 1 |

| 13 | Boosting the adsorption and removal of dye from water by COOH-functionalized carbon nanotubes显示文摘Water pollution caused by dye is a serious challenge.Herein,we use a novel discharge process to functionalize carbon nanotube(CNT)by COOH groups to form CNT30 for removing methyl red(MR)from water.By pristine CNT,75%MR is removed in 60 min,with an adsorption capacity of 68.44 mg g-1.By CNT30,85%MR is fast removed in only 5 min,and the removal efficiency reaches to 95%after 30 min,with an adsorption capacity of80.33 mg g-1.Thus,a higher MR removal efficiency is achieved in a much shorter time on CNT30.Moreover,CNT30 has an outstanding reusability,with the MR removal efficiency decreasing by only 7%after ten cycles.The COOH groups on CNT30 improve the hydrophilicity of CNT30,thus promoting the interaction of MR in water with CNT30.The hydrogen bonding and electrostatic interaction of MR with the COOH groups on CNT30 could be the force to drive MR adsorption on CNT30.The higher COOH content could be the origin for the better performance of CNT30 in removing dye from water.The discharge process developed herein is operated in O2,without using harmful substances,and the COOH content on CNT can be efficiently tuned by simply changing discharge time.This is different from the chemical modification widely used to functionalize CNT by strong oxidants,e.g.,HNO_(3).The present work is of great significance to realize green construction of materials for more efficiently removing dye from water. | Binran Zhao Yiyi Zhao Peng Liu Yu-Long Men Yun-Xiang Pan | 2023 | Green Chemical Engineering2023,4,1: | 0 |

| 15 | Pollutant emissions from biomass burning:A review on emission characteristics,environmental impacts,and research perspectives显示文摘Biomass is one most abundant resource on the earth providing important energies in support of so-cioeconomic development in many areas.Burning of biomass fuels comprises to nearly 10%of the total energy from anthropogenic combustion processes:however,as the burning is usually incomplete,this process yields products of incomplete combustion posing consequently significant impacts on air quality,human health,and climate change.Here,we analyzed spatiotemporal characteristics in intentional and unintentional biomass burning from different sectors,discussed impacts of biomass burning emissions on indoor and outdoor air quality,and consequent influences on human health.The global total con-sumption amount of biomass including both natural and anthropogenic sources was approximately 7900 Tg in 2019,with significantly large regional and sectorial discrepancies among regions.Globally,anthropogenic biomass burning amounts increased gradually,but notably in some developing countries like China residential consumption of biomass fuels,as one large sector of biomass use,decreased over time.Uncommercial biomass consumption needs to be accurately quantified.There are relatively rich datasets of pollutant emission factors from biomass burning,including laboratory and field tests,but still large variations exit and contribute substantially to the uncertainty in emission inventory.Global pri-mary PM2.5,black carbon and organic carbon emissions from biomass burning were about 51,4.6,and 29 Tg,respectively,contributing to nearly 70%,55%,and 90%of the total emission from all sources,and emissions from the residential sector and open fires are major sources.Brown carbon emissions from biomass burning attracts growing interests but available studies adopted different methodologies challenging the comparability of those results.Biomass burning emissions polluted not only ambient air but more severely indoor air quality,adversely affecting human health.Future studies that should be emphasized and promoted are suggested. | Ke Jiang Ran Xing Zhihan Luo Wenxuan Huang Fan Yi Yatai Men Nan Zhao Zhaofeng Chang jinfeng Zhao Bo Pan Guofeng shen | 2024 | Particuology2024,85,2: | 0 |
