| 1 | Epidemiological and risk analysis of the H7N9 subtype influenza outbreak in China at its early stage显示文摘Dozens of human cases infected with H7N9 subtype avian influenza virus (AIV) have been confirmed in China since March, 2013. Distribution data of sexes, ages, professions and regions of the cases were analyzed in this report. The results showed that the elderly cases, especially the male elderly, were significantly more than expected, which is different from human cases of H5N1 avian influenza and human cases of the pandemic H1N1 influenza. The outbreak was rated as a Grade Ⅲ (severe) outbreak, and it would evolve into a Grade IV (very severe) outbreak soon, using a method reported previously. The H7N9 AIV will probably circulate in humans, birds and pigs for years. Moreover, with the driving force of natural selection, the virus will probably evolve into highly pathogenic AIV in birds, and into a deadly pandemic influenza virus in humans. Therefore, the H7N9 outbreak has been assumed severe, and it is likely to become very or extremely severe in the future, highlighting the emergent need of forceful scientific measures to eliminate any infected animal flocks. | 2 | Devonian alkaline magmatism in the northern North China Craton:Geochemistry,SHRIMP zircon U-Pb geochronology and Sr-Nd-Hf isotopes显示文摘The Wulanhada pluton is among the rare suite of Devonian alkaline plutons occurring along the northern margin of the North China Craton(NCC).The intrusion is mainly composed of quartz-monzonite.Here we report zircon SHRIMP U-Pb data from this intrusion which shows emplacement age of ca.381.5 Ma.The rock is metaluminous with high(Na_2O + K_2O) values ranging from 8.46 to 9.66 wt.%.The REE patterns of the rocks do not show any Eu anomaly whereas the primitive-mantle-normalized spider diagram shows strong positive Sr and Ba anomalies.The Wulanhada rocks exhibit high initial values of(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)_t = 0.70762-0.70809,low ε_(Nd)(t) =-12.76 to-12.15 values and negative values of ε_(Hf)(t) =-23.49 to-17.02 with small variations in(^(176)Hf/^(177)Hf),(0.281873-0.282049).These geochemical features and quantitative isotopic modeling results suggest that the rocks might have been formed through the partial melting of Neoarchean basic rocks in the lower crust of the NCC.The Wulanhada rocks,together with the Devonian alkaline rocks and mafic-ultramafic complex from neighboring regions,constitute a post-collisional magmatic belt along the northern NCC. | Dingling Huang Qingye Hou | 2017 | Geoscience Frontiers2017,8,1: | 4 |
| 3 | Spatial analysis of land use change effect on soil organic carbon stocks in the eastern regions of China between 1980 and 2000显示文摘Spatial distributions of 0-20 cm soil carbon sources/sinks caused by land use changes from the year 1980 to 2000 in an area of 2.97 × 10~6 km^2 in eastern China were investigated using a land use dataset from a recent soil geochemical survey.A map of soil carbon sources/sinks has been prepared based on a spatial analysis scheme with GIS.Spatial statistics showed that land use changes had caused 30.7 ± 13.64 Tg of surface soil organic carbon loss,which accounts for 0.33%of the total carbon storage of 9.22 Pg.The net effect of the carbon source was estimated to be ~ 71.49 Tg soil carbon decrease and ~40.80 Tg increase.Land use changes in Northeast China(NE) have the largest impact on soil organic carbon storage compared with other regions.Paddy fields,which were mainly transformed into dry farmland in NE,and constructed land in other regions,were the largest carbon sources among the land use types.Swamp land in NE was also another large soil carbon source when it was transformed into dry farmland or paddy fields.Dry farmland in the NE region formed the largest soil organic carbon sink,as some were transformed into paddy fields,forested land,and other land use types with high SOCD. | Xueqi Xia Zhongfang Yang Yuan Xue Xin Shao Tao Yu Qingye Hou | 2017 | Geoscience Frontiers2017,8,3: | 3 |

| 8 | Composite Model-free Adaptive Predictive Control for Wind Power Generation Based on Full Wind Speed显示文摘Aiming at the problem that the existing model-based control strategy cannot fully reflect stochastic fluctuations of wind power,this paper presents a model-free adaptive predictive controller(MFAPC)for variable pitch systems with speed disturbance suppression.First,an improved small-world neural network with topology optimization is used for 15-second-ahead forecasting of wind speed,whose rolling time is 1s,and the predicted value serves as a feedforward to obtain the early compensation variation of the pitch angle.Second,a function of the multi-objective optimization at full wind speed with optimal power point tracking and minimum control variation is constructed,and an advanced one-step adaptive predictive control algorithm for wind power is proposed based on the online estimation and prediction of the time-varying pseudo partial derivative(PPD).In addition,the compound MFAPC framework is synthetically obtained,whose closed-loop effectiveness is verified by a BP-built pitch system based on the SCADA data with all working conditions.Robustness of the schemes has been analyzed in terms of parametric uncertainties and different operating conditions,and a detailed comparison is finally presented.The results show that the proposed MFAPC can not only effectively suppress the random disturbance of wind speed,but also meet the stability of wind power and the security of grid-connections for all operating conditions. | Shuangxin Wang Jianshen Li Zhongsheng Hou Qingye Meng Meng Li | 2022 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,6: | 0 |
