2Study of TiC+TiN Multiple Films On Type of 316L Stainless Steel显示文摘In this paper, the synthesis process of TiC+TiN multiple films on super-low-carbon stainless steels is reported. The TiC layer is coated as the first layer in the multiple film, the change of growth rate of the film on the 316L Stainless steel is not same as the one on carbides substrates, while the mole ratio of CRi to TiCLi (mCH/TiCl4) is changed from 1.2 to 2.0. The Ti [C, N], as a kind of inter-layer between TiC and TiN layers, is helpful to improve the adhesion between the TiC and TiN layer. 3Investigation of Mg–Zn–Y–Nd alloy for potential application of biodegradable esophageal stent material显示文摘In recent years,due to unhealthy dietary habits and other reasons,advanced esophageal cancer patients are on the rise,threatening human health and life safety at all times.Stents implantation as an important complementary or alternative method for chemotherapy has been widely applied in clinics.However,the adhesion and proliferation of pathological cells,such as tumor cells,fibroblasts and epithelial cells,may interfere the efficacy of stents.Further multiple implantation due to restenosis may also bring pain to patients.In this contribution,we preferred a biodegradable material Mg–Zn–Y–Nd alloy for potential application of esophageal stent.The hardness testing showed that Mg–Zn–Y–Nd alloy owned less mechanical properties compared with the commercial esophageal stents material,317L stainless steel(317L SS),while Mg–Zn–Y–Nd displayed significantly better biodegradation than 317L SS.Cell apoptosis assay indicated Mg–Zn–Y–Nd inhibited adhesion and proliferation of tumor cells,fibroblasts and epithelial cells.Our research suggested potential application of Mg–Zn–Y–Nd alloy as a novel material for biodegradable esophageal stent.Shuo Wang Xueqi Zhang Jingan Li Changsheng Liu Shaokang Guan 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,1:7
4Potential risks and challenges of climate change in the arid region of northwestern China显示文摘In the arid region of northwestern China(ARNC),water resources are the most critical factor restricting socioeconomic development and influencing the stability of the area’s ecological systems.The region’s complex water system and unique hydrological cycle show distinctive characteristics.Moreover,the intensified hydrological cycle and extreme climatic and hydrological events resulting from global warming have led to increased uncertainty around water resources as well as heightened conflict between water supply and water demand.All of these factors are exerting growing pressures on the socioeconomic development and vulnerable ecological environment in the region.This research evaluates the impacts of climate change on water resources,hydrological processes,agricultural system,and desert ecosystems in the ARNC,and addresses some associated risks and challenges specific to this area.The temperature is rising at a rate of 0.31C per decade during 1961–2017 and hydrological processes are being significantly influenced by changes in glaciers,snow cover,and precipitation form,especially in the rivers recharged primarily by melt water.Ecosystems are also largely influenced by climate change,with the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)of natural vegetation exhibited an increasing trend prior to 1998,and then reversed in Xinjiang while the Hexi Corridor of Gansu showed the opposite trends.Furthermore,the desert-oasis transition zone showed a reduction in area due to the warming trend and the recent rapid expansion of irrigated area.Both the warming and intensified drought are threatening agriculture security.The present study could shed light on sustainable development in this region under climate change and provides scientific basis to the construction of the“Silk Road Economic Belt”.Yaning Chen Xueqi Zhang Gonghuan Fang Zhi Li Fei Wang Jingxiu Qin Fan Sun 2020Regional Sustainability2020,1,1:6
5Safety and Efficacy of Physical Thermal Ablation Combined Sorafenib for Hepatocellular Carcinoma:A Meta-analysis显示文摘Background and Aims:To compare the efficacy and safety of physical thermal ablation(PTA),including radiofrequency ablation(RFA)and microwave ablation(MWA),combined with sorafenib and physical thermal ablation alone for the control and treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)according to the available literature.Methods:Comprehensive searches were performed on PubMed,Embase,CNKI,the Cochrane Library,China Biomedical Literature Database(known as CBM),Weipu Journal,and Wanfang Database.Meta-analysis was performed using Revman 5.3 software.Results:A total of 15 studies,consisting of 2,227 HCC patients,were selected and included in this meta-analysis.Compared with the RFA-alone group,the patients in the RFA+sorafenib group had longer 1-,2-,and 3-year overall survival(all p<0.05),better overall efficacy(p<0.0001),longer radiofrequency interval(p<0.001),and lower 2-year recurrence rate(p=0.02).The 1-year overall survival(p=0.003)and overall efficacy(p=0.002)of the MWA+sorafenib group were also higher than those of the MWA-alone group.The incidences of adverse reactions in the RFA+sorafenib group,such as hand-foot skin reactions(p<0.001),diarrhea and constipation(p=0.0001),hypertension(p=0.009),and alopecia(p<0.001),were significantly higher than those in the RFA-alone group.Conclusions:RFA or MWA combined with sorafenib has produced a better therapeutic effect on HCC than physical thermal ablation alone;however,adverse reactions have been obvious.It is necessary to evaluate the safety of combination therapy,and pay close attention to the adverse reactions that develop in patients.Mengdi Jin Qiong Yu Yahui Liu Weiling Xu Xueqi Fu Bai Ji 2021Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2021,9,2:6
6Variability of microphysical characteristics in the “21·7” Henan extremely heavy rainfall event显示文摘In this study, significant rainfall microphysical variability is revealed for the extremely heavy rainfall event over Henan Province in July 2021(the “21·7” Henan EHR event) using a dense network of disdrometers and two polarimetric radars.The broad distributions of specific drop size distribution(DSD) parameters are identified in heavy rainfall from the disdrometer observations, indicating obvious microphysical variability on the surface. A K-means clustering algorithm is adopted to objectively classify the disdrometer datasets into separate groups, and distinct DSD characteristics are found among these heavy rainfall groups. Combined with the supporting microphysical structures obtained through radar observations, comprehensive microphysical features of the DSD groups are derived. An extreme rainfall group is dominantly formed in the deep convection over the plain regions, where the high number of concentrations and large mean sizes of surface raindrops are underpinned by both active ice-phase processes and efficient warm-rain collision-coalescence processes in the vertical direction. Convection located near orographic regions is characterized by restricted ice-phase processes and high coalescence efficiency of liquid hydrometeors, causing the dominant DSD group to comprise negligible large raindrops. 7Chlorogallate(Ⅲ) ionic liquids: Synthesis, acidity determination and their catalytic performances for isobutane alkylation显示文摘A series of triethylammonium-based chlorogallate(Ⅲ) ionic liquids with varied Lewis acidity was synthesized, characterized, and firstly applied to isobutane alkylation. The [Et3NHCl]-GaCl3 with χGaCl3 = 0.65 displayed a potential catalytic activity for the alkylation. The addition of copper halide into the chlorogallate(Ⅲ) ionic liquids dramatically enhanced the alkylation reaction. Up to 70.1% C8 selectivity and 91.3 RON were achieved with the [Et3NHCl]-GaCl3-CuCl (χGaCl3 = 0.65, CuCl = 5% mol) under 0.5 MPa, 900 r/min, 15 min, 288 K using the industrial C4 cut (isobutane/butene = 10). 8Spatial analysis of land use change effect on soil organic carbon stocks in the eastern regions of China between 1980 and 2000显示文摘Spatial distributions of 0-20 cm soil carbon sources/sinks caused by land use changes from the year 1980 to 2000 in an area of 2.97 × 10~6 km^2 in eastern China were investigated using a land use dataset from a recent soil geochemical survey.A map of soil carbon sources/sinks has been prepared based on a spatial analysis scheme with GIS.Spatial statistics showed that land use changes had caused 30.7 ± 13.64 Tg of surface soil organic carbon loss,which accounts for 0.33%of the total carbon storage of 9.22 Pg.The net effect of the carbon source was estimated to be ~ 71.49 Tg soil carbon decrease and ~40.80 Tg increase.Land use changes in Northeast China(NE) have the largest impact on soil organic carbon storage compared with other regions.Paddy fields,which were mainly transformed into dry farmland in NE,and constructed land in other regions,were the largest carbon sources among the land use types.Swamp land in NE was also another large soil carbon source when it was transformed into dry farmland or paddy fields.Dry farmland in the NE region formed the largest soil organic carbon sink,as some were transformed into paddy fields,forested land,and other land use types with high SOCD.Xueqi Xia Zhongfang Yang Yuan Xue Xin Shao Tao Yu Qingye Hou 2017Geoscience Frontiers2017,8,3:3

10Hepatitis B virus evades immune recognition via RNA adenosine deaminase ADAR1-mediated viral RNA editing in hepatocytes显示文摘HBV is considered as a“stealth”virus that does not invoke interferon(IFN)responses;however,the mechanisms by which HBV bypasses innate immune recognition are poorly understood.In this study,we identified adenosine deaminases acting on RNA 1(ADAR1),which is a key factor in HBV evasion from IFN responses in hepatocytes.Mechanically,ADAR1 interacted with HBV RNAs and deaminated adenosine(A)to generate inosine(I),which disrupted host immune recognition and thus promoted HBV replication.Loss of ADAR1 or its deficient deaminase activity promoted IFN responses and inhibited HBV replication in hepatocytes,and blocking the IFN signaling pathways released the inhibition of HBV replication caused by ADAR1 deficiency.Notably,the HBV X protein(HBx)transcriptionally promoted ADAR1 expression to increase the threshold required to trigger intrinsic immune activation,which in turn enhanced HBV escape from immune recognition,leading to persistent infection.Supplementation with 8-azaadenosine,an ADAR1 inhibitor,efficiently enhanced liver immune activation to promote HBV clearance in vivo and in vitro.Taken together,our results delineate a molecular mechanism by which HBx promotes ADAR1-derived HBV immune escape and suggest a targeted therapeutic intervention for HBV infection.Liyuan Wang Yang Sun Xiaojia Song Zehua Wang Yankun Zhang Ying Zhao Xueqi Peng Xiaodong Zhang Chunyang Li Chengjiang Gao Nailin Li Lifen Gao Xiaohong Liang Zhuanchang Wu Chunhong Ma 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,8:2
11Oxymatrine Inhibits Bocavirus MVC Replication, Reduces Viral Gene Expression and Decreases Apoptosis Induced by Viral Infection显示文摘Oxymatrine(OMT), as the main active component of Sophoraflavescens, exhibits a variety of pharmacological properties,including anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, and anti-viral activities, and currently is extensively employed to treat viral hepatitis; however, its effects on parvovirus infection have yet to be reported. In the present study, we investigated the effects of OMT on cell viability, virus DNA replication, viral gene expression, cell cycle, and apoptosis in Walter Reed canine cells/3873 D infected with minute virus of canines(MVC). OMT, at concentrations below 4 mmol/L(no cellular toxicity), was found to inhibit MVC DNA replication and reduce viral gene expression at both mRNA and protein levels, which was associated with the inhibition of cell cycle S-phase arrest in early-stage of MVC infection.Furthermore, OMT significantly increased cell viability, decreased MVC-infected cell apoptosis, and reduced the expression of activated caspase 3. 12SOD1^(G93A) Induces a Unique PSAP-Dependent Mitochondrial Apoptosis Pathway via Bax-Bak Interaction显示文摘Amyotrophic lateral syndrome(ALS)is a progressive degenerative disorder characterized by motor neuron death and axon degeneration.Mitochondrial dysfunction plays a key role in the pathogenesis of ALS,the mechanism of which remains poorly understood.The B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2)family of proteins that control and mediate mitochondrial function and apoptosis,including the pro-apoptotic members Bcl2-Associated X(Bax),are involved in ALS development.The death receptor 6(DR6)regulates motor neuron death in ALS,and DR6 antibodies can prevent axon degeneration and motor neuron damage by blocking DR6.Previous studies demonstrated that PSAP localized to mitochondria and was required for DR6-induced apoptosis.In this study,SOD1^(G93A) was transfected into the motor neuron cell line NSC-34 to serve as an ALS cell model in vitro.The data assessed the role of PSAP in SOD1^(G93A)induced apoptosis and demonstrated that the overexpression of SOD1^(G93A),but not wtSOD1,induced PARP cleavage,caspase-3 activation,cytochrome c release,and Bax translocation.PSAP,Bax,and Bak were necessary for SOD1^(G93A)induced apoptosis,as silencing PSAP inhibited SOD1^(G93A)-mediated cell death that was dependent on Bax-Bak interaction.HAN NIU XIN CHEN XUEQI FU JINGTIAN ZHANG GUODONG LI YUXIANG WANG JIAYUE SONG XUETING MA CHEN HU XUEMIN XU FUQIANG ZHANG LINLIN ZENG 2021BIOCELL2021,45,4:2
